When I arrived for my first visit, Rachel spoke with me about what I was looking for and then walked me around to all of the gowns to see what caught my eye. We then went back to the very glamorous dressing room area and the fun began! Rachel was efficient and knowledgable as I tried on the gowns. Her insight about each gown and the creative ideas she contributed when it came to dress customizations was invaluable. She really went above and beyond to help me envision exactly what the gowns would look like with customizations. I also appreciated how courteous she was, specifically when she would go back into the dressing room to allow my guests and I to share our opinions about the gowns without her there, never feeling pressured to buy a gown or like every single one I tried on. I am so excited to say that I did say yes to the dress at In White and cannot wait until my dress arrives and I can go back in for an accessory appointment and for my fittings! It truly was the most special experience for me and my guests, and I cannot thank Rachel enough for all she did to make it this way!!

Neither of the consultants pushed to make the sale or impatient with me and Lilly let me try both dresses on a few times to help me make my final decision. My attendant was very kind, not pushy, and even picked out a few "random" ones she suggested, just to see if anything outside of what I thought I wanted struck my fancy. I used to walk by this store with my fiance whenever we'd come down and window shop, and I was glad to finally get to go in!

They had a nice, wide selection of dresses and were happy to even take dresses off of the mannequins that I wanted to try on. My consultant did not seem like she had a lot of experience and had some difficulty answering my questions. She did end up pulling dresses that she picked after I explained more of what I was looking for; however, I never felt like she really captured what I was looking for. Some of the dresses I tried on were too big, so they placed this oblong cylindrical pillow into the back of the dress. While this made the fit appropriate when viewing the dress from the front, it created an oddly-shaped, large silhouette when viewed from the side, making it very hard to imagine yourself in the dress, since you couldn't actually see how it would fit when it would be the right size. She told me that In White does not use clips because it ruins the dresses, which made sense to me; however, later in the appointment when a dress was too small for me, they used clips on the dress. I wish they would've used clips for all of the dresses that did not fit, as I think it is easier to picture yourself in a dress that fits when you can more easily see the shape of your body. I have visited 4 bridal salons and this was the only one that I felt pushed to buy a dress at, even though I never tried on a dress that I loved. Again, they did have a nice selection of dresses and a beautiful store though.

I went back a few weeks later with one of my best friends and my mom. The same sales associate helped me again and during this visit we chose "the dress". They listened to my alteration requests and were awesome with altering the length and getting rid of a piece of material in the back. They were knowledgeable on the type of fabrics used and what could or couldn't be done to the dress so that it would still look good after alterations. What I wasn't too happy with was that I couldn't zip up the dress after the 1st alteration, since I needed a smaller size, and they had the nerve to say, "Did you gain weight?" They retook my measurements and no, I did not gain weight and they took in way too much at the waist. I was upset and now nervous that it wouldn't fit right. The final gown pick up went perfect though, and the dress fit, as well as they did some alterations on the spot to make the dress fit perfectly which I was impressed with since the wedding was now two weeks away. Even though their were bumps with the alteration process, the dress turned out fabulous and they listened to me.

Both of my alterations appointments were quick and easy thanks to Theresa! She went above and beyond with the alterations to my gown. My wedding dress is a ballgown with a LONG train. She beautifully tailored it to fit me and made sure everything was perfect before sending the dress home with me. We get taken back to an area and told we might share with another party coming in which is fine we wouldn't mind at all. Our "consultant" took us to the bridesmaid dress room let us pick from the dresses and took them to a room. They only had sizes 8,10,12 so only 1 of the girls could try on which again not a game changer. We got done picking the dresses and were told they were back in the room waiting for us. Our "consultant" never came to help with the dresses I ended up putting the bridesmaid in dresses and clipping her in. Which I've never heard of. The "consultant" came back once to get dresses we didn't want and put them away. Never asked us how it was going or if we needed anything or any help. We went to two other boutiques that day and had a much better time ! The dresses are in poor condition. Very disappointed. If you want to basically be the consultant than this might be for you. Otherwise choose elsewhere.

They allowed us to stay long after our appointment ended and let the girls try on basically every dress they had in stock. I wanted a mismatched look that was still coordinating and Meg gave us great direction on what designers and fabric would give us the perfect look. I took my mom and grandmothers, I recommend keeping the group small and people that are VERY close to you to prevent unnecessary stress. They didn't rush us or force us to try more expensive gowns. Once I tried on THE dress they even let me add the matching veil and accessories to get the full effect in the dressing room. The best part if that it was custom ordered to perfectly fit me, and all alterations are done in house which makes it so easy! The whole shopping experience was like a dream and I felt beautiful on my wedding day because I had a dress that fit me perfectly! Wishing I could wear it again! Thank you In White for helping my wedding dress dreams come true!

They then worked with their sister store in Massachusetts to ship in plus size samples for me based on my style so that I could actually try on dresses in the salon. I found the perfect gown and hair accessory in the salon that day, and the wonderful service didn’t stop there. my mom called it dowdy. Another shop kept pulling dresses that weren't modest at all... that was really my only requirement and not once did they offer to add coverage to anything. I almost didn't bother shopping the next day, but I kept my appointment at In White and I went with my best girlfriend. While looking at dresses, I kept coming back to this one dress, but it was strapless. I wanted something with much more coverage... but I couldn't step away from this dress. So I tried it on just to see, and that was it. I shed the tears that didn't happen the day before... I loved this dress. I said that I wish it had sleeves. And Maly goes, "we can make sleeves. We can order extra lace." Like it was no problem at all! So that's what we did, and over the next few months, I worked with the amazing Carmen and Maria, who I kind of adore. They customized my dress, built up the neckline, added little sleeves, and it it looked completely natural. I've never felt more beautiful. I was in good hands and never were they pushy or stuck up. Always kind, always friendly, and I'm forever grateful because they really helped to decrease some of the stress that can come with wedding planning. I trusted them completely with each step of the way.

I saw this dress on a mannequin one day while I was in the shop with some of my bridesmaids, and couldn't stop thinking about it for the next week. Feeling frustrated, I went in a few days later with my mom and asked the girl if it was even possible to get the dress made with only 90 days to go until my wedding. She said absolutely and helped me try it on. I came out in it and felt like I had truly found MY dress. They were very speedy with putting in the order and were always willing to give me as much information as they had when I called (frequently, and often panicked) to check the status of the dress. When it finally came in 2 weeks before my wedding, I was worried the seamstress wouldn't be able to do everything in time - but I was so wrong! Everything was done beautifully and with a few days to spare. I felt absolutely amazing in my dress and my girls looked just as amazing standing by me on my big day!

She made all of my alterations seem so easy, and every time I came back to put it back on, I loved it more. A few weeks prior to my wedding my mother's zipper on her dress popped. tags to start tagging dresses. When we were finished, we waited for someone to tell us we could go back to the fitting room area. A woman, who would be my bridal consultant, kept walking past us (I think she was pulling dresses). She eventually told us quite curtly we could go back. We went back to the fitting room area & we waited. Next thing I know, the bridal consultant was standing at the fitting room curtain & announced that “she was ready” – NO greeting whatsoever. I was quite surprised & caught off guard. She did not ask me what my name was or who my guests were. She didn’t even introduce herself to me – I had to ask HER what her name was! Throughout the entire consultation, she seemed aloof & very short. Quite frankly, she seemed like she was just trying to get me “in and out" and that I was wasting her time. Finding your wedding dress is supposed to be a fun, enjoyable, POSITIVE experience & my experience at In White was not. It’s a shame because they did have a beautiful selection of quality gowns, and you’d think that their level of service would match their product.

I am a petite girl and had to get a lot of alterations to my dress and Maria fulfilled all of my expectations to make my dress look even more perfect! Maly is a natural professional at her job. I told Maly that I thought the dress that she had suggested was "HIDEOUS" but she still encouraged me to try it on anyways. I tried it on and I actually ended up falling in love with the dress and wore it on my wedding day:) Without Maly's suggestion and never ending help, I would have not been able to wear, what I know now, was my dream wedding dress 👰🏼 I also loved how they make the bride and guests feel very special by making it a big occasion to try on the dresses with some tasty wine 🍷 I wish I could give an extra star to In White because they deserve it!

t's a three hour drive there for me. When I came for my last fitting (the day before the wedding mind you), there was a large hole in the side of my dress where the seamstress hadn't finished the alterations. Through the night of the wedding the stitch used to tack the top of my dress for some modesty, began to fray and pull the material making the top look odd. Also my sister's dress was visibly sewn crooked when they took it in by the zipper; about 1/2 an inch off on either side. They were also still steaming my mother's dress when we arrived for our fittings on time. To avoid missing rehersal we had to leave 3 of the 4 dresses, to be hopefully completed by the morning of the wedding. When we asked about pick up time for them, they said they didn't open until 12:00pm. We told them that time was unacceptable since we'd all be getting ready for pictures at that point and that we needed them by 8:00am, we received an attitude about it. While the dresses were completed correctly by 8:00am it seems they overwork their seamstresses, and don't offer clear communication. It's more a management and timing issue then an alterations department problem. Most of the staff seem pretty inept with their computer system too. I had five visits over 8 months, the intial puurchase, 3 fittings, and a pick-up. . . and anytime they needed to ring us up for something the girl would tell us, "Sorry, we just changed systems and it's still new!" We'd be sitting there for 10 minutes watching her click through screens. The first two times, sure? But really in 8 months you can't pick it up? Also the alterations pricing for mother's dresses is ridiculous. My mother was charged about $100 more for the same or even less alterations than my bridesmaids dress, just because it was a mothers dress! How can a store even get away with that? The dress was no more complicated than a bridesmaid dress to alter? Unless you just need them to order you a dress and do nothing else, take your money elsewhere.
