Overall, our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Cheryl and Laura were amazing to work with and very accommodating to all of our requests. They worked with us to ensure that every detail was exactly what we wanted. The only downside of the venue was that the person that is there day of, Diane, was not part of the wedding planning process at all. The first time we met her was the day before our wedding where we had to go through every detail that we already went through with Laura. So the first time she is hearing it from us is 24 hours prior to the wedding, which did cause me some stress. In addition, the day of our wedding Diane was good but there were certain things that she did not listen to us on. For example, she lit our candles in our reception area as I was walking out for the ceremony when the reception wasn't for another hour and a half. By the time the reception started, the candles were already halfway gone, which annoyed me a lot. I was forever in debt to my external day of coordinator that I hired because she was the one that worked closely with Diane, reminding her of all the details that I wanted and to make sure everything went smoothly. I would say if you want everything to run smoothly, it is definitely worth looking into an external day of coordinator or asking to have more than 1 meeting with Diane to make sure she knows exactly what to do and to designate someone (like a MOH) to make sure she isn't going rogue on some items.
What an elegant wedding… my entire day was beautiful. The day of coordinator was great and kept everything on track.
The golf cart did die on us during our photo shoot and my husband had to push it up the hill but we even got Good laugh about that.
My wife and I had our wedding reception at Indian Pond on 9/16/2023 and I can’t say enough about how amazing our experience was. The venue itself is spectacular and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Laura and Cheryl were huge helps in the wedding planning process and were extremely accommodating, while Diane was a rockstar the day of and catered to our every need. We got so many compliments about how great the venue and staff were and can’t recommend Indian Pond enough - you will not be disappointed!
Any questions?
We had our wedding at IPCC in June 2023 and the venue is beautiful! The floor to ceiling windows, white/bright colors, large deck for cocktail hour and large foyer with floor to ceiling windows. It was everything we were looking for in a venue and with their price point we knew it was our venue. A few caveats, some we didn't realize until the day of, was that the outdoor ceremony space is VERY close to one of the golf holes. The course is still open during your wedding so golfers could go by or play that hole during your ceremony. The communication with the women you work with leading up to your day are very responsive but are not proactive/helpful so you will have to ask for a final walk through and anything else you would want/need leading up to your day. The day of coordinator is fantastic, however, the women you work with leading up to your day do not communicate with the coordinator so be prepared to sit down and run through everything again with her on your rehearsal day. Not enough chairs were put out for our ceremony so a good amount of our guests had to stand so make sure you ask for extra chairs to be set up. And the AC was not on nearly high enough for the 90 degree weather we had so make sure to ask them to prep the AC prior to entering the reception room. Other than that everything went perfectly. The food was delicious, our guests were raving about it and the portions were large. The bar moves quick so there weren't any lines of people waiting to get drinks. The bridal suite is awesome - very large and roomy for your entire bridal party to fit no matter how large yours is. I'd recommend Indian Pond for your wedding or event!
Indian Pond Country Club was an absolute dream! We truly struggled finding a venue that reflected the vibe that we wanted, within the price range that we felt was most appropriate. That all changed when we toured IPCC! Not only did they have beautiful facilities with giant windows, dark wood, beautiful veranda/patio and pub like vibes, but they offer an incredible off season deal that we couldn't pass up. The event planners, Megan, Laurie, and Cheryl were all incredible in their communication, and their ability to assist us with all of our needs as we were planning this hometown wedding from out-of-state. Going above and beyond to schedule extra visits when we were in town to get a better idea of layout and plans as well. However, our day of banquet captain, Diane, was AMAZING. Not only did she attend to my husband and I consistently, from making me a plate of appetizers and holding it for me while I was being busseled so I could eat, to refreshing our drinks every time they looked a little melted. She even made a point of taking me aside when I was getting a bit anxious to help calm me down, and check in on me. She truly was our light in all the craziness, and made it feel as if we had the opportunity to enjoy each moment of our night without feeling overwhelmed, all while maintaining the schedule we needed to follow. She made our wedding day 100x more magical than it already was!
The food was such a hit! As we planned from out of state, we did not have an opportunity to attend the tasting, sending my mom and maid of honor in our place instead. So the wedding day was the first time we had the food, and it was top tier! Our guests were raving all night about the food, and the service that came along with it.
I could not recommend them enough. If you want a venue that is classical yet laid back, top tier yet affordable, bright with the dark tones, and has outstanding service, there is not place better to look.
Thank you IPCC for bringing our small wedding dreams come true. Best day ever!
Our October 15th wedding was better than we ever expected and that was a huge thank you Diane and Cheryl. Cheryl was amazing leading up to our wedding answering all our questions and tons of calls. Diane was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. I can’t not even put into words how incrediable she was. She made our day what it was. My parents, my husband and I were sooo appreciative of everything she did. She even held water to our mouths with a straw to make sure we were hydrated. I cannot praise Diane enough!! The whole staff at Indian pond were amazing to work with.
I can't say enough good things about Indian Pond!! The venue is gorgeous, the staff is excellent, food was delicious - and the cost in comparison to a lot of other venues with similar spaces/offerings is amazing!
We worked with many of the coordinators via email throughout our planning process and they were all so helpful and easy to work with! Vicki was our day of coordinator and she made sure the day went perfectly. She kept us on schedule, made sure we had everything we needed, and even helped us pack up the truck at the end of the night! She helped bring my wedding day vision to life and I could not be happier with how everything turned out!
This was the first venue we toured when we started looking and we instantly fell in love with it! We had our ceremony and reception at Indian Pond. We originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the gorgeous chandeliers in the foyer sold us on staying indoors instead.
Our reception was in the Blackstones room which is so beautiful; the bar area and wine rack room give a nice romantic/rustic feel with all of the wood detail while the floor to ceiling windows and beautiful balcony keep it elegant.
The food was so delicious and so many of our guests mentioned that they were so happy with their meals! The wait staff was also fantastic! They made sure we ate and also made it a point to ask if there was anything we needed throughout the night!
We couldn’t have picked a better venue to have our September wedding. From booking over a year out to planning our big day to the actual event itself, IPCC was able to answer all of our questions and ensure everything was easy for us as a couple. We were lucky to work with Cheryl when booking and planning. She would answer all of our emails promptly and helped us make our big day happen. The day of, our coordinator was Diane who went above and beyond to keep our day on track and take care of us as a couple. The venue itself is so beautiful, we chose the Blackstone Room and couldn’t be happier with how everything came out. Thank you so much for making our wedding the most memorable day ever!
My husband and I could not be happier with our experience at IPCC. We tied the knot in August of 2022 and it an absolute dream. From the planning process with Megan and Cheryl to the day-of with Diane, we were so well taken care of. The event staff was always responsive throughout the months leading up to our big day. It helps that the venue itself is also absolutely gorgeous! We will be recommending IPCC to all of the engaged couples we know. Thank you!!
We got married at IPCC in August of 2022. We booked the venue in June 2021. Everything about our experience was great. Cheryl was an awesome wedding coordinator and was very prompt, responsive, and thorough. Pam was our day-of coordinator who also was an expert at organizing a wedding! They both made me feel well taken care of, and if there were any issues, I did not know about them. The venue was beautiful and they did an amazing job of bringing my vision to life. The food was great, bartenders were quick, and our guests had a fabulous time. Thank you Indian Pond for making our wedding day one we will never forget!
My wedding captain Diane was the best. She took great care of me the whole day. The Blackstone Room looked incredible. Everything I visioned came to life.
OKAY SO FIRST OF ALL, I LOVED THE LOOK OF THE VENUE. I’m a ballroom girl :) As soon as I saw it I knew we had to at least look at it. Wasn’t much longer before we booked! They were accommodating with pretty much everything we wanted. SUPER responsive, everything was laid out in order and I had everything I needed to make sure our details meeting went smoothly. We got to set up the night before (at rehearsal) and then early in the morning me, my bridesmaids and my parents went just to do final touches and make sure everything was how we wanted. It was SO amazing to see my vision come to life! We had a woman named Vickie helping us with everything from holding my train to grabbing us cupcakes on the big day and she was amazing! Food was also amazing & our guests kept saying how much they loved it!! I love that they included gratuity to the bill so we didn’t feel any extra stress of forgetting that or not having enough for everyone. We paid for coat check but ended up not needing it so they reimbursed us! And unfortunately we didn’t realize until the night before you can’t use real rose petals in the ballroom (which we already paid for with our florist and didn’t have fake ones) so we had to go buy them the night before so that was a bit stressful but nothing too serious! Overall we LOVED it and would do it again!
My husband and I were married at Indian Pond country club on 9-17-2021, and I cannot say enough about them! 5 stars aren’t enough to describe my experience with them! From the second we booked, in 2019, and leading up to the big day. Bonnie, Cheryl, Megan, and Laura are extremely professional, very very responsive. My day of coordinator- diane, was hands down amazing! She made my day so smooth, I never had to worry about anything, except the weather which none of us can control of course, and with that being said we were planning on getting married outside on the terrace, Mother Nature had rain plans for us and so we switched it indoors, which was incredibly stunning! The food was incredible, our guests are still raving about their meals! I highly recommend Indian Pond.
My husband and I were married here in July, and enjoyed every minute of it! The service was wonderful and everyone was very attentive. Due to the rain, we had to get married inside but was still beautiful in front of the fire place. All the food was delicious from apps to dessert! We hope to come back on our first anniversary to get pictures outside on the beautiful grounds.
There are not enough words to express our gratitude toward Indian Pond for helping us execute an absolutely perfect wedding day. From the beginning, Megan was so easy to work with, so knowledgeable, and so informative. She was extremely responsive and reliable, and ALWAYS followed through on every question that I had. When Megan went on maternity leave, we started working more with Laura, who was just as helpful and informative in those few weeks leading up to the wedding. It was as if I were still speaking with Megan because Laura knew everything that was going on. She was up to speed on everything that Megan and I had discussed which was extremely comforting to me. To speak about our wedding day—we cannot thank Diane and Pam enough. There was absolutely nothing that I was responsible for remembering or doing that day. Diane and Pam handled everything so calmly, professionally, and efficiently. They made sure that we had everything we could have needed and always seemed to be two steps ahead of the game. We do not have enough kind words about them, as well as the rest of the very hardworking staff. And the food was awesome! We were a little nervous because some of the options we chose for the wedding day were not showcased during our food tasting, so we did not actually get to sample them beforehand. But this all ended up being a nonissue because everything was amazing, and we heard from many satisfied guests saying the same. We can’t thank everyone involved enough and would encourage anyone to book a wedding at IPCC. It will be the best decision you could make.
Indian Pond is a great spot for a wedding. The staff is professional and responsive and they are meticulous when it comes to making sure every detail is discussed prior to your wedding day. The location is beautiful and they are so accommodating and friendly.
I hope no one has to go through what my husband and I had to go through with IPCC. My husband and I had booked this venue for our wedding for the fall of 2020. Obviously, due to COVID, things had to change. For reasons out of our control, we couldn't postpone with the venue so we had asked if we could cancel (which our contract explicitly said that we could if there were government restrictions and, at the time, there were). They so no, so we asked if we could have a scaled back wedding for the same date we had booked which was originally a holiday Sunday. IPCC wanted to charge us $10,000 for a wedding with 22 people (IPCC needed 3 of their staff to be there which would be taken out of our guest count). This did not include catering costs. We asked if we could change the day and use the smaller room instead as we obviously no longer needed a room that could fit 400 people. They said that, even if we changed the day and the room (obviously the larger room and Saturday were booked before COVID), they would not budge on the price. My husband and I ended up having to hire lawyers to fight them on this, and even after that, we only got back half of the money we paid.
It's just not worth it. Even before all of the COVID complications, there were red flags. For example, they only do 2 food tastings a year and won't make exceptions. My husband and I were living in Seattle and had specific food restrictions, so we had to fly out for this random date in February. There's also massive wind turbines that can be seen from the balcony that ruins the whole view. There are better venues for the same price point. We had booked with IPCC because we were planning a pretty large wedding at the time and they could accommodate the number of guests. I truly can't express how much I regret booking with them and hope no one else has to go through what we went through
Good.
We absolutely loved our wedding at Indian Pond Country Club! Our ceremony took place outside, overlooking the beautiful golf greens and the staff set up everything perfectly. Our reception took place in the grand ballroom, which I fell in love with our first visit there. It features large, beautiful windows overlooking the beautiful golf course and lots of stunning chandeliers . We also got some beautiful photos in front of the fireplace. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the grand bridal suite, which was another favorite aspect of mine. The staff went above and beyond to make our day extra special. I forgot my veil at the hotel and they help coordinate a way to get it for me for some pictures. They also brought me my own tray of bacon wrapped scallops because I told them they were my favorite. We would highly recommend Indian Pond Country Club! It was such a huge component of making our wedding day so beautiful! 💕
I would highly recommend the Indian Pond Country Club to any couple getting married. They made the whole process easy and stress free. The best part was the day of. I did not have to worry about anything! I was able to sit back and truly enjoy my wedding while they made sure the ceremony and reception ran smooth. I could not be happier and I am so grateful for all of the staff there. What a great place!
Response from the Vendor on 12/09/2019
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass your review along to the staff as well.
We wish you a wonderful life with your new husband.
Indian Pond Staff
This venue was perfect, it was absolutely beautiful and everything ran so perfectly it was like a well oiled machine. I also can not say enough great things about the staff, we worked with Meghan leading up to the wedding, Vicky our day of coordinator and Pam who we call the MVP of our wedding were all WONDERFUL! They truly made this day so wonderful for us and were so easy to work with.
We hosted our daughter and SIL’s wedding reception at Indian Pond Country Club. We were in the Grand Foyer for cocktail hour, and the Grand Ballroom for dinner and dancing. We are SO happy we chose this gorgeous venue! We aren’t members, but the staff treated us as if we were. We searched several venues in the area and nothing compared to Indian Pond! Thankfully we got what we paid for! We worked with Bonnie Woods. She is amazing! So friendly, very knowledgeable, patient, fun, and since her daughter had recently been married, she understood how frazzled I was. Every question we had was answered promptly. Our emails and phone calls were returned quickly. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially when compared with other venues and what they offer. When I asked if I could bring my florist at another time so she could tour the venue, they were very accommodating.
Our daughter had a church wedding. When the bridal party arrived at Indian Pond, they were escorted to the private bridal suite so they could freshen up, and enjoy champagne and hors devours before being driven out on golf carts to a beautiful stone bridge for pictures. This country club is absolutely beautiful!
Indian Pond is a well-oiled machine. They’re honest and provide exactly what they say they will. We had ZERO unwanted surprises. The event staff is top notch! We chose a plated meal option and the servers were very efficient and friendly. The food was fantastic. This chef knows his craft! They easily accommodated my daughter’s food allergies (soy, dairy, gluten) and she raved about her meal. We had several guests with food allergies or diet choices, and they took great care to make sure our guests got the food they ordered. The bride and groom are given a “captain” who attends to them ONLY for the entire night. Their goal is to make sure the newly married couple does not have to hear about anything going awry on their special day. They must have the same standard for the MOB and FOB because IF anything went wrong, we didn’t know about it! The entire evening was absolutely seamless! Indian Pond Country Club’s balcony that overlooks the pristine golf course, the Grand Foyer and Grand Ballroom are simply gorgeous! It’s breathtaking when the sun goes down and the lights come up. The gas fireplace was lit in the Grand Ballroom and added to the elegance and romance of the evening. We received so many compliments about the venue and so many guests are still raving about “the best wedding reception” they’ve ever been to!
Many, many thanks to Bonnie Woods, the entire events staff, and Indian Pond Country Club for helping us celebrate this new couple’s very special day!
Indian Pond was a great choice for us. It was a fantastic size for our wedding of 180 people. The planning process was smooth and the day turned out beautiful. My only qualm was that the wedding planner I worked with the entire time was not present at my rehearsal or actual wedding. I felt slighted since she was the one who knew all the details and I have been in constant contact with.
I recently had my wedding reception at Indian Pond and couldn't have had a better experience! From the jump they were accommodating with any questions, requests, etc. Megan is an absolute sweetheart and such a pleasure to work with. Our day of coordinators were great with making sure the show ran smoothly. Highly recommend Indian Pond Country Club for any couples looking for a large wedding venue on the South Shore.
I can't begin to thank the entire IPCC team for making our wedding day everything we ever dreamed of! Living in Kingston my entire life, it made our day so special to have the most important day of our lives so close to home. And with facilities as beautiful as Indian Pond, there was no need to travel far to have the best wedding ever. The team went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel like royalty for the day. From all the planning with the event staff (Bonnie, Megan, etc!) to the day of logistics and event servers - everyone was absolutely phenomenal. My guests are still reaching out telling me it was one of the most beautiful, classy wedding venues they have ever been to. The food was another highlight people can't stop raving about. Leading up to the day, everyone kept telling me "Make sure you eat! You probably won't have much time to eat but try!". Let me tell you, that was not the case for this bride haha :) I practically licked my plate clean. It was that good! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day unforgettable. We are eternally grateful. XOXO Michael & Shannon Quinn
Indian Pond Country Club was absolutely beautiful and the staff and food were amazing! They made our wedding our dream wedding. Thank you to every single person at IPCC who was apart of our special day and for making it so memorable.
Great place to have a wedding. Food was delicious
We got married at Indian Pond in August. We had our ceremony on the lawn and our reception was in the Grand Ballroom. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. It was the perfect choice for us. The venue is gorgeous and well maintained. The food and service were excellent. The portions were plentiful. Most importantly, the staff at Indian Pond are phenomenal. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Megan to plan our wedding. Planning a wedding can be daunting and stressful. Megan made the entire process easy for us from start to finish. She is professional and was always quick to respond to questions. The pricing was reasonable, and all the quotes were accurate. There weren’t any unexpected expenses. Megan provided guidance without ever coming across as pushy or salesy. My husband is allergic to alcohol, but we wanted to have signature cocktails at our wedding. Megan worked with the bar manager to come up with an awesome signature mocktail in addition to our cocktail. Everyone loved it. Megan and her team worked with our vendors before the big day to ensure that everything would run smoothly the day of the wedding. Diane was our banquet manager for the day of. She was excellent – I knew that we were in great hands when I met her at our rehearsal. She kept everything on track the day of. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for our big day. Our pictures are stunning. Our friends and family are still talking about how great the food was. They took excellent care of our guests and belongings. A couple of friends told me that they’ve already referred other people to Indian Pond for their weddings!
The staff at Indian Pond were amazing. They made sure everything went smoothly and in a timely manner. The food was also very good
I wanted our wedding to be magical and magical is exactly what happened at Indian Pond. We were so beyond impressed at the level of care, detail and direction we received from the staff here! Bonnie, Laura, Meghan, Vicki, and more were on top of every step of our planning process and allowed us to relax on our wedding day, which is huge! A month later I continue to receive compliments about the venue, food and overall experience of Indian Pond. We did a sparkler sendoff which is not easy to coordinate 150 people outdoors quickly, but the staff did it flawlessly! I can't speak highly enough of Indian Pond and I already miss it! It is the biggest and most important memory in our lives thus far, and we are so grateful we could spend it at this magical venue!
Indian Pond was the first and only venue we went to see because it was first on our list and we knew it was the one! The grounds are so beautiful and I felt comfortable right away with Bonnie, I found them to be very organized and easy to work with. When Bonnie wasn't there to answer some of my emails I ended up working more hand in hand with Megan and I couldn't have been happier. She made planning a breeze and never made me feel like I was pestering her (although I probably was). Payments were spaced out appropriately I felt. The one thing I'd change throughout the planning process would probably be the food tasting. It's a group thing and I understand it's probably best for the venue but I wish we could've tried a few things instead of some things they did serve that night. We ended up picking the NY Strip & baked stuffed haddock for our plated entrees and they were both delicious and very large plates (especially for a fancy country club) I definitely don't think anyone left hungry. Our ceremony was in the ballroom and the room just had such a warm beautiful feel to it (since it was already getting dark at 4:30pm). Everything went on without a hitch. My "day of people" were Vicky and Pam they were both great, pleasant, and helpful. I will forever be grateful for Pam getting one of my ring bearers down the aisle when he was being difficult. I'm not sure what she said to him but I'm happy she did! Everyone helped me pull off the best surprise for my (now) husband, I had Rene Rancourt make an appearance and they had no problem hiding him and fitting him into my schedule prior. It was a great surprise and I'm so happy it worked out. It's sad that the person you work with all year to make your wedding perfect isn't apart of the day of activities but I was so happy that Megan was working the day of my wedding and came to the bridal suite where I was able to take a picture with her and put a face to the name who's helped me so much. Pam too even was putting a napkin on my dress while I was eating she was on top of it and always making sure we were good, I very much enjoyed her. I'd recommend Indian Pond to anyone who's looking into having an elegant wedding. Their off season prices are significantly lower than their peak season but either way the venue is on the higher end of wedding venues but to us it was worth every penny. Megan, Pam, & Vicky thank you for being my dream team and making wedding planning and the day of a breeze! xo Mrs. Amaral
My husband and I were married on 10/26/18 and had both our ceremony and reception at Indian Pond. It was everything we dreamed of and then some and if I could give this venue 10 stars, I would! Every aspect of working with Indian Pond Country Club was a joy. The venue itself is beautiful and if you are lucky enough to get a sunny day, the view is spectacular and makes for great pictures. Our ceremony was on the lawn (which we decided the day of) and with the sun setting on us in the background, it was so stunning. Our guests raved about the excellent service, gorgeous ballroom, and delicious food. But the real stars here are the staff. From the early stages of planning, to the day of the wedding-the team at Indian Pond blew us away with their professionalism. We planned our wedding for 240 people in just under 6 months and I honestly could not have done it without Megan’s guidance. Her expertise, patience, and kindness put us at ease and she always made us feel like we were a priority which I really appreciated. On the day of, Diane was a rockstar and took care of everything to make the ceremony and reception run smoothly. At one point, she literally took the coat off her back and gave it to me for the chilly golf cart ride to take pictures. I mean, talk about going above and beyond!!! Vicky was also amazing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I am certain that our budget would not have afforded us an equally wonderful experience at any other venue. I can’t thank Megan, Diane, Vicky and all of the staff enough for making our day so beautiful and flawless.
We can not speak highly enough about Indian pond and their crew! From the planning process to the wedding day their entire team (Bonnie, Laura, Meagan, Diane, Pam & more) were incredible. During the planning process they were always quick to respond, on top of things and so well organized. They are so amazing at what they do and it makes your planning process run so smoothly. The day off, the team is so well prepared and truly make your wedding all you imagined! The venue is absolutely stunning it is well kept, clean and large. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge! We got so many guests telling us that not only was the food amazing but the portions were the largest they have ever seen at a wedding. I would highly recommend Indian Pond as a wedding venue. We have no regrets and absolutely nothing we would change. We couldn’t be happier that we chose Indian Pond and we owe it to them for our amazing wedding day!
Absolutely Phenomenal !!!
These folks really know their business.
Diane, Megan, Laura were fantastic.
They accommodated every need we had and even when plans changed they were very gracious. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a stress free day.
Absolutlely Phenomenal !!
We can’t thank the staff at Indian Pond enough for executing such a wonderful day. I didn’t think about one detail the day of and it was absolutely wonderful to enjoy the day. Bonnie was wonderful to work with leading up to the big day and Diane and Pam were wonderful to work with day of. Diane made sure our parents saw all of the important parts of the night and Pam made sure we were able to eat our dinner. Guests are still talking about what a great wedding it was and how beautiful the venue was. We had a large wedding (~250) and it did not feel cramped at all. Everything was just as I had pictured it and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you all again for helping us celebrate our special day.
Just over 2 weeks ago, Indian Pond Country Club and their incredible team (Bonnie, Megan, Diane, Pam & more) hosted our wedding of ~165 people in the Grand Ballroom which was undeniably the most perfect and wonderful day of both our lives. From start to finish, the process was flawless. The ladies answered dozens of "silly" questions of mine over the last year and a half, which led to a seemingly flawless wedding day. Speaking of wedding days, it is uncharacteristically unlike me to NOT “manage” things myself, and I truly did not worry or think about a single thing except how amazingly incredible our day was, and how happy our guests were all evening. We are still on cloud 9. I quiet literally can’t stop smiling. Thank you to Indian Pond for creating a beautifully flawless space, perfectly orchestrated day, and dream wedding for us. We are forever and ever and ever and ever thankful. Our guests were soooo impressed with your teams, the bartenders, the servers, the food, the “flow” - absolutely everything. If you are considering having your wedding here, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.
Having our wedding reception at Indian Pond Country Club was the best decision we made. We looked at multiple vendors and after visiting Indian Pond, that day we decided this was the place. They were beyond organized and helped in coordinating all of our wishes along they way and were able to make many personalized accommodations for us as well. We had a wedding planner and day of wedding coordinator that took care of all the organization and details that were needed and everything turned our perfectly. Not a single thing I would have changed. We were personally recommended to IPCC by a family friend who had her wedding here as well and I am so happy we chose to do the same. The high ceilings, ceiling to floor glass windows, xtra large dance floor and beautiful patio deck overlooking the sunset on the golf course made our day truly magical. The staff treated us like family right from the start.
We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding! Indian Pond Country Club is absolutely beautiful. Our Event Sales coordinator Megan was amazing! She answered any and all questions we had. She made us feel at ease with the whole process. Our Event Coordinator on our actual wedding day, Pam, was truly amazing! She was very helpful and made sure the day was all about us! We had the best day of our lives go off without a problem thanks to these awesome ladies and all of the staff at Indian Pond!! I highly recommend this venue if you’re in the South Shore!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Indian pond country club! My sister got married there in 2015 so it was an easy choice when the time came to plan my own wedding. Megan, our event sales coordinator, was so easy to work with and made the planning process a breeze. The day of the wedding Vicky was on top of everything! She made sure things were on time and running smoothly so we were able to relax and enjoy the day. Pam k. took care of us the entire day and was a life saver! From removing grass stains to fixing my bustle, if we had an issue she was there to help and we cannot thank her enough. Carol, Pam C, Kim, Donna, Diane and all the staff at Indian pond were amazing. They were attentive, professional and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect!
"This place is gorgeous!", "The food was the best I've had at a wedding", "What a beautiful venue"....just some of the comments made to me by my guests of Indian Pond Country Club! The space itself is truly gorgeous, from the ceremony on the lawn, to photos in the garden to the amazing bridal suite. It was far superior to other venues we looked at.
I had such a wonderful experience working with Megan on all the details leading up to our wedding, and she was very responsive and answered all 4,000 of my questions. As others have mentioned, Diane is a bit abrasive, but she has to be to keep things moving. I appreciate that given how much goes into keeping things on track during the event. But she was also great to work with!
I cannot say enough good things about Vicky.....from the moment I was introduced to her when we arrived to the moment we left, she was attentive, kept me laughing all day, kept my glass full and ensured everything was perfect.
We got married here on August 3, 2018. We could not have chosen a better venu. All of the staff was amazing. Everyone was completely professional. They were all very understanding and accommodating with all of our requests.
Thank you so much Indian Pond
We planned from out of state. They were accommodating in scheduling the finer details (e.g. in depth meeting, dropping everything off). The venue itself is beautiful. The food was delicious and eliquently presented.
Vicky, Carla, and Megan were the DREAM TEAM. From the moment we toured to the last minute of our wedding IP staff were flexible, responsive, kind and extremely professional. I will recommend IP to everyone I know. It's a beautiful place that doesn't need much decorating. The natural light is wonderful for photography and they handle so much for you. I have zero complaints. A few things went wrong before the ceremony (limo broke down, flowers were missing) but they kept their cool and problem solved so I didn't have to. Reasonable pricing. Food was amazing and service was outstanding.
Indian pond country club made my wedding day seem effortless. From the moment we chose the venue until the minute the wedding was over. They thought of things that I wouldn’t of thought of. The day of the wedding was bumpy at first as many of my guests were late which made our whole timeline off but the staff at the venue kept things as smooth as they could be and we still managed to get everything done! Not to mention calming me when I was all upset prior to the ceremony because of the guests being late! I didn’t have to worry about anything, they took care of it all! Thank you to all the staff at Indian Pond Country Club!!
We got married at Indian Pond on April 28th, 2018. I can't say enough about Diane - she would extremely professional and helpful. Our ceremony was outside on the lawn and the whole evening flowed nicely. The wait staff was so gracious and kind to everyone. We had our dream wedding become a reality at Indian Pond! Everyone of my guests raved about the food and how beautiful the property was. I would highly recommend Indian Pond for your wedding day!
From the moment we toured, Bonnie and Megan went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had...and believe me, I had a lot of questions!
Our wedding rehearsal and reception were simply perfect. If anything went wrong, we did not know. Diane and Vicky took care of every detail imaginable. I could not have asked for a more perfect day, or more professional, accommodating staff. We got married in the Ballroom Foyer which is such a beautiful space with large chandeliers. Our reception was held in the Blackstones Room which has rich wooden accents and a picturesque fireplace. (Very vintage chic). There is a lovely terrace off the back of the room, which was nice if you want to grab a bit of fresh air. The bridal suite is large and offers a view of the golf course, and private restrooms. The entire venue is decorated in beautiful neutral colors (cream and gold) that will match most color schemes. The food is delicious and is served in generous portions...your guests will NOT go hungry.
If you are looking for the perfect South Shore wedding venue, make sure to check out Indian Pond. You will not be disappointed!
We recently got married at Indian pond country club a few weeks ago. I must say-everything was perfect!!! From the rehearsal a few nights before and our actual wedding day. We worked with Alison leading up to it and she was beyond helpful!! I was happy to see her on my wedding day as she was leaving. The day of staff was also amazing!! Vicki and Pam were right there at all times making sure everything ran smoothly and calming me down at the same time. I felt like they were apart of my own family. They were awesome. The ballroom looked absolutely amazing! It all goes by so fast but it was truly the best day of my life and i couldn’t have picked a better venue. So thank you to to all of the staff at Indian pond!! I’m forever grateful.
Indian Pond did a fantastic job!!!! Every single part of the day was flawless. All of our decor was setup exactly as I wanted it, our guests raved about the food, the event manager and head waitress were on top of everything, the timing was exactly right. I wouldn't have changed a thing!
We planned our wedding in 4 months and were lucky enough to get a spot at Indian Pond. The team there was so helpful throughout the process, helping me make decisions quickly. Day-of, the whole team was fabulous--from our first look to our last song, they took care of us, made sure that everyone was happy and everything went off without a hitch. Our reception was in the Blackstones Room, which was so charming and cozy and perfect for our 130 person wedding. I wouldn't have wanted to do our wedding anywhere else or with any other team. I highly recommend!
Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with IPCC. In the days leading up to our wedding, Megan and Laura were so incredibly helpful, so we were shocked at the end result.
While it’s obvious that Pam can efficiently get her job done, I think she’d benefit from a retraining in interpersonal skills. It was beyond disappointing that the first thing many guests said to me the next morning was how rude Pam was to them. She was “chaotic” “abrupt” “psychotic” the list goes on. It’s so disheartening for this to be the memory many of my guests have, after the thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours I put into this day. ( The subject came up again at our family holiday party, and again, I was so disappointed, as that's not how I wanted our family to remember the day.)
My mother in law actually asked me at one point what I did to upset Pam, because she couldn't understand why she was treating me that way. - The main responsibility of someone in that position should be to keep the bride calm, she did the exact opposite.
When Kim came along though, she was like an actual ray of sunshine walking towards me. From start to finish this woman was beyond exceptional. Quite honestly, she saved the day.
We were also disappointed with other details: we ordered (& reviewed with Pam the day before) the mixed vegetable bundles as our side dish, however green beans came out on all of the plates. & we were missing five dishes (we had last minute cancellations and no shows). I was assured prior to the Wedding that the plates would be brought out to the tables as extras, however only two our of the seven were. -that's hundreds of dollars wasted.
I emailed Debbie after the wedding, to ask where these dishes ended up, and voice my complaints, though I never got a response.
I wouldn't recommend this venue, nor would any of my guests, unfortunately, since they were treated with such disrespect.

Congratulations on your beautiful wedding and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on TheKnot. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are devasted to learn that we failed to meet your expectations. It is very rare t...
hat we receive such a poor rating so we take these comments very seriously.
We take great pride in providing the highest level of service to our guests. We regret that you feel you did not receive that level of service that our clients have been accustomed to for many years. Pam is a valued member of our team with 13+ years experience and can efficiently execute to position of Banquet Captain. Although we respect your feedback, we feel the adjectives used may be inaccurate to describe her.
I can assure you that your complaints are heard and have been addressed so that we can offer a better experience to future couples. Feel free to contact us directly at 781.585.9117 if you wish to discuss the additional dishes from last minute cancellations that were offered to your tables. We would love the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
Indian Pond was the best place to have my wedding. The staff were professional and made the whole night go smoothly. During cocktail hour, they made sure drinks and food were in the bridal room and that we all were able to try everything. The entire night went so smoothly and without any problems because of the staff.
We had our wedding here in November 2017. We worked with Megan for the planning process and she was truly amazing. We also got a great deal from IPCC in their off season. Megan was responsive and worked with us well. The Blackstones room was also beautiful, as was the grand foyer where we had our ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about the venue itself and Megan. Our planning process went well, I always felt informed, and there were no weird policies or surprises (nothing too weird that we couldn't work around, anyway). Megan is 5-star without a doubt. Our waitress for the day, Vicki, was also WONDERFUL.
However, our "banquet manager" or day-of person was not good. We had Diane (we didn't get to chose). I will say, nothing went terribly wrong on the day of, so she can definitely do her job, but her bedside manners need some SERIOUS work. First, at the rehearsal, my friend and I were standing at the car exchanging gifts out front and instead of saying something like "sorry ladies, I have to shut down which means shutting the lights off" she just shut them off leaving my friend and I completely in the dark. She also, during the rehearsal, got a "soda from the bar" and offered us nothing. I thought that was odd. The rehearsal was tense and she seemed unprepared.
As for the day of, Diane dressed way too casually for the wedding, and all my bridal party including my parents, did not like her tone. I only needed her once the whole day and it was because the room got WAY too hot because the AC wasn't on (killing the dance floor) and I couldn't find her at all. I had to ask three different staff people where she was and they had no idea. I found myself, in my gown, propping open a door to the outside. At the end of the wedding, as I was getting out of my gown to leave, she came up, into the bathroom where I was half dressed, gave me a hug but also curtly told me I had to leave or would get charged (end time was 5pm, it was 5:25pm). I understand there are rules and staff need to go home, she just doesn't ever say anything nicely, and where was she at 5:15 with a warning? It takes time to get decorations and stuff out of the venue, which we were handling ourselves (I imagine she also gee I don't know, could've helped us). She always seemed to just appear and yell and not get along with any other vendors.
Vicki, the bridal party waitress, should replace Diane. Everyone loved her and she was very attentive and responsible. She also made sure my meal wasn't taken away until I gave the OK which is important!
We had a lovely wedding there, and you can't chose your banquet manager, so I don't know how to advise other brides.
Where do I even begin...everything from start to finish was absolutely top notch!
When we set up our first meeting with Megan to visit Indian Pond - I knew as soon as we walked into the Ballroom that was where we were going to get married and have our reception! Stunning!!
We worked with Megan to do all the planning and organizing. We had A LOT of questions, and wanted to make some changes to the way they do some particular things - and let me say, that anything we asked and any changes we inquired about making, Megan listened, and made it happen! She was very quick in responding to any emails and getting the answers to us.
The day of the wedding Diane was our coordinator. Again - top notch! She was very attentive not only myself and my husband, making sure we ate, had drinks, and were able to enjoy ourselves - but also to my father who is in a wheelchair. As it is a little more difficult for him to get around, she made sure to come over to him often, making sure he had everything he needed and/or wanted. Thank you so much for that!!
As for the food - absolutely delicious! Our guests raved about the food! Everything from the appetizers at cocktail hour, the clam chowder, to the filet you could just cut with a butter knife! All excellent!
Overall - Megan, Diane and the staff at Indian Pond were all so well organized and we thought they did an amazing job!! I couldn't have been happier to have picked Indian Pond for our wedding day and would HIGHLY recommend to any future bride & groom.
Thank you again, to everyone, for making our day so memorable and special!
Absolutely Perfect! My bridal shower and wedding reception were at Indian Pond. My bridal shower was in the blackstones room run by the amazing Diane, food was awesome and the room was gorgeous! My wedding reception was in the ballroom, also run by Diane and was just perfect! We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding. The grounds, the ballroom, bridal suite, everything is just gorgeous and the food was delicious. Megan and the whole sales crew were so helpful when I was planning my wedding and they were always so quick to respond to my emails and calls. Diane really knows what she is doing and she is AMAZING! Pam was also so helpful to us on the day of our wedding from driving us to the bridge, making sure we didn't get hit by any golf balls, to making sure we sat down to eat our dinner. We are so happy we chose Indian Pond. It was literally a dream come true, and the best day ever. Thank you!
My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased and more impressed with Indian Pond Country Club! Our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding ceremony was held this past Saturday, October 14th, 2017 in the grand foyer and their reception was held in the Blackstones Room. Both venues were over-the-top beautiful! Just so elegant! From start to finish, working with the staff at Indian Pond was a joy! Megan, our Event Sales Coordinator, was so easy to work with. She was so patient and just so helpful! From the very beginning of our wedding planning “journey”, she made the process effortless. Diane, Pam, Pam and Kim took care of every single detail on the wedding day. They were the best! Our friends are still commenting on how wonderful and how attentive the staff was! The food was amazing, the service impeccable. We can’t say enough good things about Indian Pond Country Club and all the people who made our daughter’s wedding such a joy!
Indian Pond was an absolutely fabulous venue for a wedding. We had ours on 9/23/17 and it was absolutely perfect. The staff there are friendly and accommodating. Megan Mulkern helped us every step of the way. They brought our vision to life and the space is absolutely gorgeous as well. Our family and friends can't stop raving up how much fun they had and how delicious the food was. I wish we could relive this day all over again.
Kevin and I cannot say enough amazing things about Indian Pond! Pam, Diane and Sandy were incredible for both the rehearsal dinner and reception. They were on top of everything from the special accommodations to making sure that we were well fed, always had a drink in our hands and just allowing us to enjoy the night while they ran the show in the background. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and how wonderful and happy everyone is from the sales staff Megan and Bonnie to the bartenders and waitstaff. Seems like a wonderful place to work and I would recommend Indian Pond to anyone for any event.
I could not say enough positive things about this wedding. We had such an amazing experience from beginning to end. I tend to be an over achiever, and Indian Pond's staff went above and beyond. There was no question left unanswered, no doubts in my mind. They made it effortless. I would recommend this venue a million times over. Thank you for making the most important day of my life, perfect!
Indian Pond was the best decision that we made for our wedding. Literally every single person there (Laura, Megan, Diane, Pam, to name a few) was fantastic. Super responsive to all my questions leading up to the day, incredibly flexible as my husband and I tried to figure out ways to blend two very different cultures, and so willing to take care of every detail. Once I met Diane at the rehearsal, I finally felt like I didn't have to worry. Between her and Pam on the day of, everything ran so smoothly, if there were problems, I never knew about them, and my husband and I were able to enjoy the day stress-free.
Indian Pond was great, the staff was very helpful, and the food was amazing! Couldn't have gone smoother :)
My husband, Chris, and I absolutely loved Indian Pond! Everyone we worked with were so accommodating, so easy to talk to, flexible, and the day of was unbelievably fantastic and memorable. The food was delicious! We are so happy we chose Indian Pond for our special day! Couldn't be happier!
My daughter got married here May 2017 and although Indian Pond is a beautiful place there are some things to keep in mind if you have chosen this venue. First, if you decide to host an open bar keep in mind that this is a function bar which means they will not display the bottles for your guests to choose from. So if you've paid for deluxe brands (top shelf) the bartender will be pouring house brands unless a guest specifically asks for a particular label. I recommend if you host an open bar you should print out and display your guests choices at the bar so they know what the selection of liquor is. Also, for the money you will spend here make sure you go over every detail and put in writing your requests for when you meet the banquet manager. Bonnie and Meghan are a pleasure work with but there's a reason you will not meet the banquet manager until week of. I stress that you make yourself heard if you have certain requests. Also beware that you will be packing up all your belongings and decorations etc. the minute the reception is over and carrying everything out with you. After you've paid for everything and your big day is over management doesn't care about anything that has already gone wrong or not to your liking so again put as much of the details in writing so you can hopefully have an incident free day. The waitstaff was fine and food is satisfactory.

We cannot thank enough the staff of Indian Pond for making our dream wedding come true (especially Megan!). They were extremely friendly, accommodating, and helped everything run so smoothly. People have been talking non-stop about our big day. The food was delicious, the views were breath taking, and the staff was amazing! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The Sales Staff (shout out to Megan and Bonnie) were great to work with before the wedding. Any time I wanted to visit or had a question they accommodated. We did a lot of unique things (ie set up our own uplighting, built and delivered a ceremony arborway, served Ice Cream cake, etc) and since I asked ahead of time they could accommodate.
The Day of staff was great. The Even Manager, Diane, keeps a tight ship but we were always on time, everything went smoothly, and the rowdy groomsmen were kept in line. I really appreciated having her there. She is also extremely honest so she will tell you want she is and isn't capable of doing so you wouldn't be let down. When it comes to your Big Day you don't want a "Yes Man" you want someone who will get it done and get it done right!
Our waiter (who followed my husband and I the entire day), Sandy, was AMAZING. She ensured we were fed and our thirst was quenched at all times. She didn't even interrupt us when we were with our guests. she would silently slip in, hand us a drink, take our old glass, and leave.
The venue is stunning and they allow you to borrow golf carts to take pictures (with your wedding party) at this beautiful bridge on the course.
All and all we are extremely happy/satisfied that we found IPCC and had our wedding there.
My husband and I had a lot of help from my parents in paying for our wedding, and so although we started off by looking at non-traditional venues for our reception, we went with my parents' preference and narrowed the search to a few country club type places. We chose Indian Pond for its gorgeous outdoors space (golf course), veranda, huge ballroom and foyer to accommodate all of our guests, menu selections, and staff. Overall, we had a really great experience, and all of the people who we worked with throughout the process were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The only point where we were disappointed was just after the reception ended - my mom and I had brought a lot of decor items in of our own to be set up, and the staff were packing all of it up on carts literally seconds after the last dance ended, before we had even had a minute to breathe and change out of my wedding dress. It was tough trying to rush around and remember everything when we had been told we could come back the next morning to gather our things. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Indian Pond - beautiful setting, classy, and easy to plan!
From the very beginning these ladies have been by my side! Megan was who I was in contact with the most and I am so thankful for her! Every question I had she was always there to help and answer. With my husband being in the Navy and being away, I was doing everything by myself and the staff at Indian Pond was so understanding and so helpful. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was everything I could ever want. I am so happy with how my wedding turned out. Couldn't have asked for a better day!
We had an amazing Wedding day thanks to the help of the wedding staff at Indian Pond County Club. They provided excellence service from the beginning of our wedding planning to the big day. Our questions were always answered in a timely manner. We can't say enough of how well we were treated. We want to say thank you for a wonderful and memorable day.
Regards,
Sarah & Ross
My daughter booked her wedding here and we made a down payment. I called over a year in advance because we had to cancel. They told me I could get my money back if they were able to rebook the day we had reserved. They were able to rebook it, but afterwards refused to give me my down payment back. I would never attend a wedding here and advise people to stay away. The owner has no compassion for anyone and did not care about me or my daughter even as I cried over the phone. DO NOT BOOK. There are plenty of other places that will treat you with respect and hold to their word.

Indian Pond hosted our wedding on June 4, 2016 in the Ballroom. Bonnie, who was our sales rep, was awesome! She answered every single crazy question I had in a timely manner and was able to maneuver a few of the minor details last minute without a problem! Diane and Pam did a FABULOUS day orchestrating the entire day of, making our special day run as smoothly as possible, setting up all of our belongings exactly how we wanted them and made sure all of our guests/bridal party were taken care of during the craziness of the morning! Although I didn't get to enjoy much of the food (bridal nerves!) our guests couldn't help but RAVE about how amazing the brunch was!!! I did however get to enjoy the roast beef and it was out of this world!!! Even 2 months after our wedding, our guests are still bragging about what an amazing venue/beautiful ceremony Indian Pond was able to put together! Thank you for making our special day so perfect!
Unbelievable... wonderful.. excellent... I can not even say one thing bad about my experience with Indian Pond. With such a large wedding of 250 it would be easy to mess up something. Diane was wonderful, like my right hand. I am the mother of 4 daughters and this was the 3rd wedding i have thrown. I dont know what i ever did without her. She was everywhere doing everything. Highly recommend. Well worth every penny and i would tell everyone to see her. She didn't forget anything and made sure all our dreams came true. If you want someone to make all your dreams come true.. Go see Diane !
