On the day of our wedding, the weather unexpectedly changed and it started to rain, but the team handled everything flawlessly and made accommodations immediately without us having to worry about a thing. They truly made our dream wedding come to life despite the weather. We felt completely taken care of the entire time, which allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our day stress-free. We are beyond grateful for everything the team did for us and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, organized, unique, and unforgettable wedding experience!

your place. When I originally toured the yacht, I thought it was going to be way out of budget - not so. After learning about everything included in the price, I was sold. Not only did they have everything arranged from the start, they were super communicative and available for any and all questions I had. They guided me to think of details and timelines I probably would've missed. Not to mention day of, my husband and I felt completely taken care of and able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding day with no stress or worries. (Shout out to Rosa!) They have everything thought out, planned for, and are flexible to meet any request big or small. Not to mention our guests absolutely loved the venue, service, and food!! We had our ceremony right on shore and the lake backdrop was stunning. So thankful we went with the Infinity Yacht!

her of the summer which helped. We had about 125 guests on the ovation which holds over 300 and it felt very spacious and comfortable but still had intimate feel with all of our guests. I wouldn’t recommend stuffing the yacht to capacity, it might take away from the atmosphere a bit as you are “trapped” on there for the duration of the cruise. The communication with the coordinators and vendors were clear and easy throughout the whole process. Only problem we had was we found out bridal party flowers and ceremony flowers were not included, only the centerpieces aboard the yacht. So that added a pretty big expense we weren’t expecting. I’m not sure if we weren’t told that beforehand or we just didn’t remember. The yacht crew, food, drinks, DJ vendor, Cake vendor, etc were all fantastic and delivered great results. We have received multiple compliments since our wedding day saying it was the most beautiful/fun wedding they have ever attended. The venue is expensive but if you can make it work, we highly recommend them.

xed reviews regarding the company. Our actual wedding night was fabulous; Christie was our cruise director and she was amazing! She was very prompt and straight to the point, she met all of our wants and needs! The boat itself was beautiful and the tour of the Detroit river was spectacular! However, literally one week before our wedding, the infinity accounting department, specifically Dominique, reached out to us stating our final bill was due when we had multiple receipts that stated our final bill was due after our tour date. My husband and I both don’t work in the industry and when we signed our initial contract, dated well over a year prior to our wedding, the contract stated our final bill was due after the wedding/tour date and we financially planned around those bill due dates. When I brought this to the attention of the accounting department, I was met with a rude response to which I had to screenshot multiple statements showing our bill was due later. Ultimately after pulling my husband into the email thread, we “resolved” the issue- to which Infinity still did not honor what they put in print on our contracts and they supplemented by offering us free champagne and cookies upon boarding and exiting the boat. This whole ordeal left a horrible taste in our mouths of how this company runs their business, and ultimately they are in the business of money making- not necessarily wedding and event making. If you want to move forward with this company for your wedding, please be warned to triple check all of your paperwork and due dates as this definitely added an unnecessary amount of stress to my husband and I literally days before we got married.

one was SOOOO accommodating and helpful. From decorations to food and beverages, music, and more, this company is beyond a well-oiled machine! Everything went so fast, the planning was superb and everyone was on point with every detail. My husband and I talk about it at least once a month; and family and friends are STILL raving about the fabulous time we all had. We were so blessed to experience the Ovation and our home reflects our special day with large portraits in every room! We also had a huge viewing of our ceremony and reception at our home, where we all relived the amazing experience. ther before. The yacht looked lovely, the food was great and the staff was attentive. The day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about a thing except having a good time. One thing to note: unless you want nothing but chairs at your ceremony and you need no flowers besides the bride and groom then expect to pay a couple grand more for decorations.

heir fault was their false promises. I was promised specific food and they later told us it wasn't possible. Very simple food for brunch. Was told there was a suite to get ready on. Was then told there wasn't. I ended up hiring a planner because the communication was so poor and needs were not being met. Food was cold when served to us.  Not an issue for guests as their food was warm. The way food was served was inefficient and caused our timeline to be pushed back. Bridal party had to wait in line for food. We went to a tasting and you were provided a sample menu that could most likely not be your menu. Was told the officiant was included then told a month out it wasn't. A month out told our numbers would need to be reduced. Reduced the numbers and weren't compensated. Communication about covid restrictions were not great. They waited until it was about a month out to tell us even though we had been in frequent contact. Good things to know: Ceremony site is not private so there may be people wandering (this was not an issue for us but noticed during the rehearsal) You have to use their dj services, florist, caterer, and bakery. No real issues with any besides the dj. Frequent issues with music not being queued, wrong songs played, music being played from a cell phone with poor quality and feedback etc. The gazebo was dirty. We did not sail out to where we should because of timing. Didn't have people sign the life saver which was supposed to be the guest book. The drinks were good. Open bar. Service for the bride and groom. (Us) was great and they were attentive. Decorations were great. Flowers were great. Customer service was decent. Guest say the service was good. Help for guest with accessibility issues was excellent. Guests enjoyed being on the yacht. All in all we were not satisfied and feel if we had known about the hidden fees, the poor communication, and the false promises we would have canceled instead of rescheduling  and feel their lack of communication and preparation could have been prevented and need major work. For the price you pay it was not worth it at all.

for what we paid, it was well worth it. Wasn’t crazy expensive. Melissa and her crew have helped us out so much when it came to planning our wedding. That was two years of planning. They are very responsive and will give you your wants and needs for your special day. We wouldn’t of had it any other way for our wedding day. Most amazing experience ever and sharing it with family is the best part as well. The crew that was on the yacht was very accommodating to what everyone was drinking and making sure everyone had everything they needed.

thumbs down for their DJ. Songs that were requested (before the wedding) to be definitely played at the reception- well- never happened. He was in his own world. We also had requested Motown music, as a suggestion- forget it. Would have been nice, since our family is from Detroit. He had his own ideas and that was it. He was not interested in catering to the many over 50 crowd at all. Thank you.

The whole day you guys made me and my husband feel like Rock stars regardless if we could not sail we was able to still have a fantastic wedding. Brittney you and the staff that day was very accommodating even making a garter for me for my husband to toss. A special thanks to the VP Steven who spoke to us directly and we thank you for your kind words. The food was great and the Drinks were awesome. Thank you all for turning a not so bright and sunny day into a day of remembrance, with elegance and superb service.

nt a venue that has the kindest people and ALWAYS respond to you in a timely manner? I think that I probably annoyed Laura 10/10 times, but you would never know because she always emailed me back when I had questions within 48 hours, usually sooner than that. She was always incredibly accommodating and made things happen. Even when I thought I had stupid questions, she would walk me through everything and treat me with so much respect. She was the best "wedding planner" (that is what I called her because it was basically like having a wedding planner without hiring anyone) that I could ask for. She then handed me off to Melanie, who was just as kind and just as accommodating, and made sure I had everything ready for the big day. Then, on the day of, I had Brittney who was the cruise director for my wedding. You would think this was annoying, because the two people who helped me through the whole year weren't even there. I thought it was annoying. UNTIL Brittney literally made everything awesome. On your wedding day, you're all over the place. You don't remember what you are supposed to be doing or what time it is, etc. Brittney made sure to find me every time it was time for something, take off from the docks, cake cutting, first dance, etc. That might not sound like a big deal to people, but none of that would have even happened if it weren't for her because I was being pulled in every direction that night. I literally forgot my garter AND bouquet to throw. This woman gathered resources and MADE me a garter out of medical supplies, and made me a bouquet to throw. The staff. OH MY GOD. Every time I didn't have a drink it my hand, they were right there handing me the next one. They danced with me, made sure I was doing okay, made sure I had food, desserts, etc. EVERYONE was amazing.

Bridgette was my initial contact, and was amazing on following up, Melanie was my contact so if i need anything or change anything, she was my go to girl. And Jill was my coordinator for the day, an amazing woman who got everything organized and running smoothly. Such an amazing team! I love how IOYC was all inclusive. For a bride planning an out-of-country wedding, it was a godsend that i found a venue i love, that is all inclusive, and the ppl are so helpful in helping planning your big day. Btw, the food was the most amazing food I've ever had at a wedding, and everyone talks about it! If I could redo my wedding, I would change nothing. Can't change perfectiom!

venue. My coordinators, Laura and then later on Melanie, were both fantastic. Ovation takes the pressure out of wedding planning by having vendors pre selected (the baker, florist, etc) so we had to do very little planning. For any remaining questions, our coordinators responded to our needs immediately and were always thorough. I would 100% choose this venue again, as the staff was remarkable, planning was simple, and family and friends left happy.
