Inn at Lenape Heights - Event Center & Golf Resort

We had the best day ever! The space is the perfect. Lenape’s staff made the whole day so easy, including the bridal suite for myself and my girls to get ready in and the after party space to continue to visit with guests. The private brunch organized for us and our guests the next day was beyond what I imagined!

I’m giving a very honest review on this venue. I was really interested in this venue because they offer on site accommodations and I really wanted the resort feel. First, be aware that the venue is going through a transfer of ownership. My MOH & I went out to stay & meet with the event planner. The place is very pretty and at the prefect location. Their color choices for everything are orange & green which is far from my favorite but no big deal. The place was dead, we were the only two people staying in the entire hotel. The staff for the most part was terrible, it seems like none of them really care to be there (with the exception of a few). The planner says they will do anything to accommodate what you want for your wedding but this is so so not true. I had a few SMALL requests that were turned down (one being a different color sash which they have). They offer only “packages” starting at $66/person but charge you for lots of other things that are not part of the package. Their pricey rooms say they include breakfast but they only include the yogurt/ fruit option on their menu filled with lots of other options you have to pay for. If you want a bottle of water in your room they charge you for it which is absolutely ridiculous. Food was okay. I ordered ribeye steak and the girl never even asked me how I wanted it cooked. Again, pretty place, but the staff & willingness to accommodate you was very poor. I went to the another resort the next day and needless to say I am going with them no question about it & it is because their staff was great and resort is beautiful.

I had my wedding at Lenape in September 2018. I was looking for a venue with a beautiful outdoor setting and this definitely fit that description. I was really looking forward to getting married outside with a view of the golf course, and Lenape also has an outside terrace for cocktail hour. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy on our wedding day so we had to get married inside the ballroom. It was still beautiful but hard to say I wasn't disappointed. Fortunately, they had a small covered area right outside the ballroom that we were still able to do outside photos which turned out beautiful. Lenape has a gorgeous hotel that is very clean and modern for guests to stay. You can also utilize the downstairs of the hotel for rehearsal dinner (very nice lounge area and table set-up) and they have a party room for an after party after the wedding which had ping pong, cornhole, etc. (both for an additional fee). I had a lot of out of towners so it was a great choice for me to have a fun wedding weekend. Chrissy, the wedding coordinator, was SO helpful from beginning to end in planning for the big day. She is also so nice to work with. We met several times in the months leading up to the wedding, and I feel like I bothered her with lists of questions; sometimes it took a few days to get a response or I had to call to follow-up, but I know she was very busy. When I did get a hold of her, she had no problem spending the time to run through all my questions and deal with all my picky requests. Tip: if wedding party/guests are wanting to golf the morning of the wedding, get this coordinated asap. Lenape has weekly golf outings that spots are limited. Overall, very happy with Lenape as my venue choice and would highly recommend!!

I had my wedding here July 2018. We had the most perfect day! Chrissy and the whole staff went over the top to make sure everything was how we wanted it. So easy to work with, the food was wonderful, the planning was simple since it’s pretty much all included. We highly recommend this venue for both ceremony and reception!

The venue was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond for our wedding! Would HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyone looking for an all-inclusive wedding getaway!

They made everything so easy and we didn’t have to worry about anything! Best decision we made having our reception here. Its absolutely beautiful and a pet backdrop for our fall wedding!

Overall, we were happy with our choice of Lenape Heights. The facility itself is beautiful. The golf course was well maintained, the hotel was unique and had some of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. The ball room, patio area, and surrounding rooms were perfect for a wedding. Their "party" room, the 19th hole, was a perfect place for the guys to get ready and hang out during the day as well as a room for the after party. For the after party, you are allowed to bring your own food and alcohol which was nice. Our DJ even came down and played until 2 am! The food was some of the best food we've had at a wedding. The vendors they work with were top notch (cake and flowers were amazing). Brianna, their wedding coordinator, was extremely helpful and did a great job coordinating with the vendors. We also enjoyed that their schedule was flexible when it came time to meet with us. Despite all the nice things, there were some things that frustrated us with Lenape. During our first visit, we were told we could block out their whole hotel (20 rooms) and that the rooms would be released a month before the wedding if we didn't fill them. This was a big part of why we chose Lenape. Being that we had 8 people one each side of our wedding party, this was a perfect amount of rooms so that our whole wedding party and close family could stay on site (there's a holiday inn close for other guests to stay at). We then went up for a second visit to confirm our booking and pay our deposit. Again, we were told we could block the whole hotel out again during this visit too. A few weeks later, we got an email saying they blocked 10 of the rooms for us. The other 10 rooms were saved for another wedding party - one that wasn't even getting married there! We felt that we were completely mislead and almost considered backing out of Lenape at this point, but it was somewhat too late. Next, we had 24 guys golfing the morning of the day of the wedding. This was set up close to the time we booked the resort so it was months in advance. The week before our wedding, they decided to tell me about their 110 person golf outing they were having that day as well. We didn't take no for an answer, so the group still golfed, but it was hectic and out of control. The golf outing group came out and was frustrated we were out there (at times there were 3 foursomes on one hole) and even called and complained. The ranger came out and gave our group a hard time about it. Many of the guys were very unhappy. Sorry, but when you have 24 guys out and then you send another 110 out, it's going to be slow, especially with 3 foursomes at some of them! Overall, the golf employees were all rude to our group. They even blamed the whole situation on the girls working there and booking the events, saying "don't worry, they won't be here next year anyway." I found this a little disturbing. In the end, I'd probably choose Lenape again. The site is just perfect for a fun wedding. If they got some their issues together, they could be really top notch.

They were wonderful with accomodating both us and our guests for our wedding, and the coordinator did a fantastic job of making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious (the wait staff was so polite), the hotel room was incredible, the view is breathtaking. There were some mixups with the hotel that were resolved very timely and involved no stress or worries because their service is so professional. Planning our wedding was practically stress free because the venue handles so many aspects of it (ceremony archway + chairs, flowers, cake, food and open bar, bridal suite, chair covers/sashes to name some). I couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Just had my wedding and reception there on 5/21/2016. The ceremony was set to be done at their outside location, however it rained on the day of so we had to do the ceremony in the reception hall. I was not sure how this was going to turn out, however it was beautiful. Brianna, the coordinator for Lenape, was amazing throughout the whole process and organized everything down to the smallest details. The day went as flawlessly as it could. The venue makes for the most beautiful wedding setting and pictures. The food was AMAZING!! I had so many compliments that the food was some of the best that my guests have had at a wedding. I would highly recommend to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful setting, reasonable price, and every detail to be perfect!

I had my wedding reception at Lenape on June 3rd and it was perfect. Brianna is amazing at working to make sure every last detail is figured out prior to the day, and everything the day of my wedding was like clockwork and fell exactly according to the timeline without having to rush or change things. The decor of the ball room was beautiful and my wedding was perfect. I'm so happy I went with Lenape!

Lenape Heights Golf Course is a beautiful place to have a wedding reception. They offer different options which includes appetizers, sit down and buffet dinners and includes all of the linens you need. Our food was amazing and we are still getting reviews from our guests on how nice the venue was and how good the food was. We had access to the patio and were given golf carts to drive around the golf course for pictures. Our guests and us loved the fact they had a hotel on site. The hotel is an European style which makes it unique to stay in. The only thing I was not happy about was the fact they put cake plates on the cake table to make it easier for them to cut the cake at the cake table. The plates ruined the photo shots and blocked bottles my grandma painted for our wedding.

Great venue! Everything went through the venue. We had had an after hours room at the hotel to spend more time with the guest. The hotel on the course is amazing.

Lenape was the perfect location for my reception. Kelly, the event planner was always there to answer every question and concern from day one. The night before the wedding she gave me her personal cell phone number to text her if I thought of anything I needed. This place went above and beyond for our huge wedding. Everything went smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The view of the golf course was gorgeous, and we were able to take photos on the course, and well as the beautiful hotel next door. The food was delicious. We had the New York Strip Steak, Chicken Francaise, and Pasta Primavera. Kids 6 and under ate for free. And the booze was included per plate! If anyone is considering having their reception here I highly recommend it.

Overall experience was good. Had to deal with switching coordinators half way through, so that was a bit stressful. We weren't able to get into the venue until 8am Saturday morning, which left us in a bit of a hurry to get everything completed. Was a great venue though, with wonderful scenery, especially for pictures. Staff was good overall, just a few misfits. It was nice because everything was included in one price... venue, food, alcohol, decorating, everything. We received many compliments on appetizers and food, it took a little bit to get everyone served(we had a sit down), but other than that it was wonderful!

The staff was nice and great to work with. The facility is gorgeous! We had the wedding of our dreams!

This reception venue was amazing. It was recently remodeled and is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Very little decorating is needed, although we did choose the decorating package which included lights under the gift, cake, cookie and head tables and fabric draping on the fronts of the main tables and the ceiling. This venure has in house catering which is absolutely fantastic. They have a huge selection to choose from and everything we tried was delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Lenape Heights is a golf course located in the hills of Pennsylvania - the view is absolutely fantastic, you are permitted to go to any green/area on golf course for pictures. The driveway/entranceway is beautiful and spacious. The caterer worked with us for something new to him, individual stations for main course. Prior to this he had us at his restaurant for taste testing and everything was wonderful!!!;To make sure you go over the details - at this time they only have men working there and some things they just don't get (women get the details).
