My event planning career began in 2006 as an Event Manager and later as a Wedding Planner/Coordinator. Now 17 years later, I have established my own planning business. I take pride in my work ethic, going above and beyond to deliver the perfect day for my brides and grooms. My approach is one that is constantly evolving, innovative and exceeds brides expectations.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family at our River Cabin. You will find me floating the river in my kayak or sitting on my deck enjoying the river view and nature.

I cannot recommend Peggy Walker of Inspiration Events in Roanoke, VA, enough; she is so attentive, easy to work with, and professional, and I had a fantastic experience with her. No detail was left out and she made a complex process not only easier but fun! and their team truly are the best! Peggy is the dream team you didn't know you needed, and I couldn’t be happier. She helped our magical weekend for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah come true. She was always very patient, responsive, and in the know with the most current and fabulous trends. I absolutely recommend her without hesitation! Thank you again for everything!

Peggy was amazing! She was so organized from the very beginning and made me feel important. She walked me through the process step-by-step and made sure that I didn't have any questions. She took care of a lot of work that would have been difficult for me to do since I live out of state. She was also very giving with her time. Whenever I was in town, she made time to meet with me and talk with as many vendors as possible with me. She also was happy to set up phone calls, texts, or emails to make sure I didn't have any questions. Other wedding planners limited the amount of interaction you had with them, but not Peggy. She was always more than happy to chat or answer a question. Peggy always advocated for me to vendors and coordinated with them to ensure that the day went smoothly. Even when an issue did come up, Peggy took care of it and offered a great solution, even though the issue wasn't her fault. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Peggy was absolutely amazing! She was excellent with schedules/ vendor coordination and planning before the wedding day. During the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was no stop making sure my husband and I got everything we needed and keep us on schedule for the best events. I really enjoyed working with her and would HIGHLY recommend her to plan anyone’s big day!

Peggy was so professional, sweet and on every single detail! She was a dream to work with. She met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding to ensure we were right on track. If I ever had a concern come up, Peggy was quick to give great insight and ease my concerns. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and willing to go above and beyond. I would recommend Peggy to anyone planning their special day or event!

Peggy was an absolute dream to work with! She was with us every step of the way and whenever we had questions or weren’t sure on a solution for things she always had a plan and guidance for us! She ensured our day went perfectly smoothly, and we know this was not an easy job with our crew! But she handled everything beautifully. We could not have had a better wedding day and it was thanks to Peggy!

Peggy was worth her weight in gold! I hired her as a planner and day of coordinator and I am so happy I did. In the planning stages she saved me thousands of dollars on my florist and helped with all the decisions I didn't even know I needed to make. On the day of she was quietly moving through the background doing the little things that would've gone forgotten, like cleaning our special champagne toasting glasses and putting them in a safe place. She even mailed our marriage license in for us! She was the best vendor I hired and I can't recommend her enough

Inspiration Weddings and Events should be your first choice for a Wedding Planner.
Our first meeting with Peggy was over glasses of wine at our home. We found her to be warm and easy, with that beautiful smile of hers. She helped us to find excellent vendors (DJ and Photographer) and worked smoothly and well with these folks as well as others we selected. Everything Peggy did was professional, prompt and in her detail oriented way. When we had questions Peggy was readily available and she helped to smooth any rough edge.

Peggy helped us find a majority of our vendors and coordinate them until the last minute and detail. She kept us on schedule through out the wedding process. Our wedding day was perfect! She was in charge of every single detail; our guests, my husband and I enjoyed until the last minute of the night. We highly recommend hiring Peggy as your Wedding Planner.

We engaged Peggy to provide “day of” wedding coordination- which actually means she swooped in about a month prior to take care of final details. Hiring Peggy was a great decision. Her precision, timely communication, and abundant experience eliminated the stress of dealing with all the final minutia that is so distracting and stressful - she allowed my daughter and I to have a worry-free celebration!

Peggy was the most amazing planner to work with! Being from out of town, we really didn't have anywhere to start. Peggy knows so much about Roanoke, and the surrounding areas. She helped us find a majority of our vendors, kept us on schedule throughout the wedding planning process and on the day of, she took care of so many details behind the scenes before and during the wedding, and even made sure we had everything together as the night was ending. I am a very organized person, but hiring Peggy to take care of things while I was getting married, was probably the best investment for our wedding. No one wants to be placing escort cards the morning of their wedding, but Peggy definitely helped with that! I cant thank her enough for all that she did!

Peggy Walker did an amazing job helping to plan my wedding day! My husband and I were very pleased and impressed with how much she did to make our special day the best possible. She helped with me with much of the planning and took so much stress off myself. Peggy is incredibly professional in her role, but also very personable and made sure anything we needed, she took care of it. We honestly can't say enough wonderful things about her as a planner. One thing we both really appreciated was on the day of the wedding, she took care of everything, what to do, where to go, when to go to every point of the day, which made our day just fun and stress free for us. We cannot thank Peggy enough for all her hard work in making our special day just perfect! We highly recommend hiring her to plan your wedding day, she will not disappoint!
