We got married at the Interlaken in June 2025. The venue is stunning, from the ceremony and reception locations, to the guest rooms that many of our guests stayed in. The staff was beyond professional and so accommodating. Our coordinator was Robyn. She was the best! She was on top of everything and very communicative. She handled a few curveballs like a pro. We loved working with her. The venue is lucky to have her on their team.

I'm so glad we went with the Interlaken for our wedding. From the days leading up to till the weekend of, the staff made sure everything went smoothly. Our coordinator, Robyn, especially went above and beyond to make sure the day went as planned. She guided us through the planning process, and the day of we were able to live in the moment stress free, knowing she was taking care of the day. Our guests gave us countless compliments on the kindness and professionalism of every member of staff.

We got married at the Interlaken Inn in October and it was truly the best wedding experience we could have asked for. From the initial tour, planning, tasting, and wedding weekend it was everything we could have imagined. We were looking for an 'all-inclusive' style venue, and the Interlaken Inn was just that. We loved that we could have all events right on site and not have to worry about transportation. The lake was so beautiful for our ceremony! The staff was incredible all weekend and took care of everything we needed. The food was delightful at every event. They were able to accommodate all dietary and special requests we made for the rehearsal dinner. The food for the cocktail hour, dinner, and breakfast Sunday morning was great! We started the weekend with the welcome bonfire and it was such a great kickoff to the wedding festivities. We were so happy to see the bistro lights and drink trailer set up down by the lake for our guests to enjoy! Sarah, our coordinator, was truly incredible!! Her communication, dedication, and care were visible throughout the entire planning process. She was so attentive to us, our families, and whatever came up all weekend. The wedding was amazing and we have only received the most rave reviews from our families and friends. We would highly recommend Interlaken Inn for weddings or other special events!!

We had our daughters wedding at the Interlaken Inn in October and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was so polite and accommodating, even our guests remarked how lovely they were! The food was delicious and plentiful and served just as we requested it. Each event we had throughout the weekend came to life by the staffs hands and was just as we had hoped. Our Coordinator, @Sarah Rudzavice, was so incredibly helpful and we truly got the impression she cared that everything went perfectly, and if it didn't, we didn't know a thing about it! During the entire planning phase, every single person at the Inn was so accommodating and genuinely concerned to make our daughter and her fiancee's day so special. I would 100% recommend having your event at the Interlaken Inn - you won't be disappointed and you'll be so happy with the results!

I have so many good things to say about our wedding at Interlaken that I don't even know where to begin. Robyn took over as our coordinator late in our planning game, which might make most couples panic, but I never had any doubts or fears with Robyn after she took the reins. From the first time we met with Robyn, she was so communicative and attentive and ensured we had everything we needed, and gave us direction as well when we needed that. Beyond the planning, she was available for us all weekend, seeing that we had everything we needed, from the rehearsal, to the welcome bonfire, to the reception, and even the after party. I was never the type of person who dreamed about my wedding day my whole life, but if I had, Interlaken would have been better than everything I could have imagined in my wildest dreams. The entire wedding day went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and our team of vendors worked together so seamlessly. I felt so cared for the entire day, and I know the guests felt the same level of care with the service. The Interlaken team had everything covered, and I was able to have the best time without a care in the world. Our guests continue to rave about our wedding, with everyone saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I surely feel the same, and I look forward to coming back to Interlaken in the future.

We had the best wedding day we could have imagined thanks to the amazing team at the Interlaken Inn. Our coordinator Susan was organized, professional, and so easy to work with. From our first planning meeting we felt so reassured that no detail was overlooked. Every member of the team was exceptional. From the maitre d Janette, who took such excellent care of us during the reception, to Brittany who drove the golf cart and worked the dinner service, to the bartenders and all the other staff- the service was top notch. We had multiple guests mention how impressed they were with the service throughout our wedding. Every event, starting with the welcome bonfire and ending with the farewell brunch, was seamless. Interlaken Inn is a venue that prioritizes the couple's experience and does their absolute best to make the wedding day unique to the couple. There was nothing we asked for that was a "no". Having all events on property added to the ease of the weekend and guests raved about the accommodations and the convenience. The lakeside ceremony site is stunning and there are so many other beautiful parts of the property for pictures. If we had to do it all again, we would choose Interlaken Inn again in a heartbeat.

Location - fantastic! It was so convenient having the ceremony, reception, and housing all in one location. The northwest hills of CT are also quite pretty and the ceremony site on the lake is perfect! For folks getting in a day early -- we had a great dinner at Willa Restaurant just over the border in NY and there is also a very cute coffee shop we enjoyed in Sharon, CT - JP Gifford Café! Catering - fantastic (and a variety of options for dietary considerations). There were so many compliments regarding the meal and the staff was great! We were extra impressed with how the meal was handed out - the staff did a very coordinated formation and placed all the meals for each guest at the table. Housing - The Inn was very cute and having the townhouses and other houses were perfect for accommodating everyone at the wedding. It was a bit disappointing that there was not a discounted rate for our room block -- we had a 120 person wedding and in turn required a number of rooms. We would have hoped for a slight discount on rooms during the time our room block was available. The block 'closed' six months out from the wedding which seemed a bit early, but Interlaken was willing to extend our room block roughly one month to at least hold the rooms. We did have some guests opt for offsite accommodations since the Inn was a bit expensive and there was not a discount on the room block. Ceremony - We loved the ceremony site and we actually had the typical setting for the chairs shifted so we could have a better view of the hills in the background which ended up working great. Only tip if you do this -- consider ordering your groomsmen from shortest (next to the groom) to tallest, since they may end up on a slight hill. We were a bit disappointed that the ceremony site was not private during the ceremony. We understand the other guests are enjoying the Inn, but we would hope that for the 30 minutes we had our ceremony Interlaken could have requested other Inn guests to not be at the ceremony site so there were not random strangers lingering. Cocktail Hour - We did photos during the cocktail hour, but we heard it was great! Loved the patio it was hosted on and very convenient for guests to head towards the reception after. Reception - Interlaken did a great job setting everything up! We provided some décor and supplies, and the team ran with it to make a beautiful set up! We would definitely recommend getting the vines on the tent since it really adds a bit extra! We did realize there was quite a bit of time between the salads and main meal which we would have ideally used to greet our guests so we weren't trying to do that once dancing and activities had already started. Just something to ask about so you have a clear understanding of timing during the reception! Afterparty - The afterparty set up is great! Having the game room is perfect and guests will definitely enjoy it. We would encourage making sure there is an extra announcement or communication about the afterparty, since with just our one announcement from the DJ we had many guest confused if and where the afterparty was. Composting - the Inn does not normally compost, but they were willing to work with us to collect food scraps and other organics which we took to McEnroe farm just 20 minutes away! This is a great venue - We would just encourage asking even the questions you think might be silly!

We had our wedding at Interlaken on 6/30/24. Our coordinator, Susan, and the whole staff at Interlaken went above and beyond to make our day amazing. Due to rain, we used the “rain plan” area for our ceremony, but it was so beautiful that it didn’t even feel like a back up plan! I want to give a shout out to Brittany who not only transported us around the grounds in the golf cart, but also helped me carry my (very long) train around while taking photos so it wouldn’t get wet or stained before the ceremony, threw my veil so our photographer could get awesome photos, and helped me adjust my necklace multiple times throughout the day when the clasp was showing. The food and service during our cocktail hour and reception were incredible. We also had guests comment in surprise that the bartenders were able to make every single drink they asked for! Guests told us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! My husband and I have said multiple times that we hope someone we know gets married at Interlaken in the future so we can enjoy another wedding there!

We had the absolute best time at the Interlaken Inn for our wedding weekend. Vanessa was so attentive and helpful through every step of the wedding planning process into the actual weekend. They helped us make our vision come to life, all with the most amazing scenery. Our guests had the best time using the grounds, which was so important to us to make the weekend special for everyone. We will highly recommend the Interlaken Inn for any wedding couple looking to have a weekend full of festivities and love!

Having our winter wedding at the Interlaken Inn was one of the best experiences we could have asked for from our vendor. From the initial tour with Jodie, we just felt so welcomed and comforted and that they actually cared in ensuring our wedding day was exactly what we imagined. Vanessa was the best! She always kept in contact and would answer my texts no matter the time of day. She was so helpful in the whole process, especially the day of! She thought of all the little details I would have absolutely forgotten if I didn't have her. She is very organized, personable, and such a pleasure to have worked with. The rest of the staff was phenomenal and friendly as well! We just were reminiscing of the day with our parents and they could not stop speaking the praises of the whole staff, the bartenders, the maitre d, everyone we encountered was so polite and friendly and the day could have not as been as amazing without them! We keep hearing how great the weekend was! The food was also amazing! We had tried the brown butter ravioli at our tasting and my fiancé (now husband) and I couldn't wait for our wedding to have it again. It was delicious, along with everything else. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and such a luxurious room in general. Overall Interlaken Inn was awesome and I couldn't recommend it enough.

As mother- of- the- groom, I can only speak for myself and my husband.....we had a wonderful weekend! The weather was beautiful and the views by the lake were so peaceful. Though we were all anxious (of course!) and needed guidance, we needn't have worried as we were in the very capable hands of Susan and her wedding team. From beginning to end, she "steered" us in the right direction, always helpful and made us feel relaxed. We would like to also thank the staff for their kindness everyday we were there. We could not have asked for a better experience! From the moment we inquired until the Sunday after our wedding, when we were saying goodbye, we were so well cared for, and I could not recommend this venue more! My partner and I stayed in one of the cottages on the site and the rest of our guests enjoyed the many different lodging options. We decided to do our rehearsal dinner offsite, but had a bonfire on Friday, ceremony and brunch on Sunday at the Inn, and we could not have been happier with the professionalism and planning of our big day! Vanessa was truly wonderful! We did have a few small issues with the rooms of some of our guests; confused room numbers, clogged bathroom, and incorrect dates. The team handled this professionally and got it fixed right away. At any moment when my partner and I picked up the phone to request some thing or needed help with planning we heard back within 30 seconds. The staff truly treat you like a queen when you are there and help you feel loved during the wedding weekend!

Interlaken Inn took our lead with creating our magical vision. We worked with Vanessa who sat with us for hours. She learned about our design, details and what mattered to us and helped to carry out our vision well beyond what we knew we wanted. From fresh squeezed juice, to moving flowers and displaying them in places to make us feel extra special, to helping us with design and layout. She was A+++. As for the venue, I don’t know a prettier backdrop for your ceremony. The infused water and beautiful touches from start to finish made us feel so special. The food, the drinks, the effort, the beauty every where we turned left us feeling blown away and grateful for the attention placed upon us. I can’t stop thinking about it and we’re four months married. Every detail and thought we had turned into our dream wedding reality. Thank you Vanessa and thank you to your wonderful team. You were all amazing!

If you’re looking for the perfect venue with an amazing staff look no further! Jodie, Vanessa, and Abby are a power team. They helped make our guests feel comfortable while also making our boho fall wedding dreams come true. The lakeside ceremony is absolutely perfect, and the tent has the potential to be anything you could possibly want. A special note for all the foodies! You can genuinely not go wrong. Every single items we ate all weekend was delicious!

We were so grateful to have our wedding here on October 22, 2022. The weather was perfect, a high of 68 and full sun! The Interlaken Inn is one of the most beautiful wedding venues we've ever been to. As soon as we stepped foot onto the property, we knew we wanted to get married there. The foliage is unbelievable during the fall months, especially in October. Having the ceremony on the lake was a nature couple's dream. Definitely include the golf cart as your transportation to and from the ceremony, that was a big hit, plus it makes for great couples photos. If you're lucky enough to have your rehearsal dinner at the property, take them up on the bonfire option. The bonfire is located across the street by the lake. We had smores and provided blankets from Amazon for our guests. So many people told us that it was a perfect way to start the wedding weekend. The food at the Interlaken is absolutely incredible. We chose the global buffet and it exceeded our expectations. I cannot even tell you how many positive comments we received just about the food alone. We were able to fit 180 people comfortably within the space with an easy transition into the after-party behind the barn doors. The after-party provided our guests with so many games and lots of space to relax on the couches and keep the party going. The venue is dog friendly, which is a huge plus! We had our dog in the wedding and she was also involved in the rehearsal dinner and reception. There are dog-friendly rooms to book, but the penthouse suite is not dog friendly, so if you do have a dog you will need to have your dog stay with someone else if you are booked in the penthouse. The penthouse suite is one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The bathroom is massive with the best tub and walk-in shower. There is a fireplace in the bedroom/living area. There is also a large deck/porch that includes tables, chairs, a wooden swing, and a hot tub! My parents rented the Basha Cottage, which came in clutch for the bridal party. The bridesmaids were able to get ready there while the groomsmen got ready in the penthouse. The Basha Cottage comes with a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. There is also a hot tub on the side deck. We cannot thank the staff enough for all of their hard work, constant communication via emails, and for helping make our special day absolutely perfect. Susan is the wedding coordinator we had and she made our wedding magical. We highly recommend her!! Susan, Victoria, Jodie, and Michelle are an unbelievable bunch. Book your wedding at the Interlaken Inn, you will not be disappointed.

We were very lucky we stumbled upon this venue during our initial search. Our vision was for an outdoor wedding that had a beautiful backdrop along with a garden chic feel & a reception under a tent - Interlaken didn't just check all of these boxes, they blew this out of the water. From the moment we toured with Michelle, we knew this was the place we wanted to say "I do." It was a perfect wedding weekend - rehearsal dinner & bonfire Friday night, wedding on Saturday and a farewell brunch on Sunday. The best part? A majority of our guests were able to stay right onsite the entire weekend, allowing us to not have to worry about transportation, etc. The ceremony by the lake kicked things off with an absolutely jaw dropping view, followed by the most dreamy cocktail hour in the garden that led right to the reception under the tent. Every staff member that worked with us either leading up to it or the night of was incredibly kind and friendly. Specifically, Vanessa, our wedding coordinator at Interlaken, was extremely responsive and helpful during the entire process. I was able to text her the most random questions and she was quick to get back with an answer that immediately calmed my nerves. A month in and the rave reviews from our guests keep coming. Between the views, the lodging, the FOOD (so good!) and the overall experience, Interlaken was the perfect venue for us, as well as our closest friends and family (dog friendly, too!). And now, we have a place we can come back to every year to celebrate our anniversary!

This review is long overdue but my husband and I were just reminiscing about our wedding weekend and how incredible it truly was. We got married 10/9/2021 at the Interlaken Inn The Interlaken Inn is the perfect wedding venue if you are looking for something unique, beautiful, and all-inclusive. Most of our 160 guests stayed at the Inn from Friday-Sunday and it was complete magic. From the day we toured the venue in October 2019 and met the staff, we knew it was the place for us. I still remember this day like it was yesterday. Michelle toured us around the grounds, including the beautiful lakeside ceremony, the grounds for the cocktail hour, and the gorgeous draped tent. I had looked at other tented venues that I did not book. Nothing compared to the Interlaken Inn with the permanent bathrooms, gorgeous drapery, and the well-kept grounds. We originally booked our wedding for October 2020. When covid hit, it was such a stressful time. Michelle and the entire Interlaken staff were SO easy to work with and allowed us to move our wedding out a year with ease. I heard so many nightmare stories about venues during covid and I could not have been more grateful. For the actual wedding planning, we worked with Vanessa leading up to the event and she was a dream to work with. Every request was granted with ease and she was SO organized that I felt extremely comfortable that everything would run smoothly the weekend of our wedding, and it did! Starting off Friday night with the welcome BBQ (we had over 100 guests there). Everyone is still raving about the food and the bonfire afterwards. Saturday, our guests loved roaming around the grounds, exploring the town of Millerton, and much more. The night of our wedding was absolutely perfect. Vanessa made sure that every sign, decoration, and person was in the right place at the right time. She even made sure my change of shoes was waiting at my chair and that my heels made it back to my room before I did! The food was amazing and everyone danced the night away. We ended the weekend with a Sunday Brunch. While I was so sad that the weekend was over, I felt a sense of relief and calmness that Sunday knowing that everything was as perfect as I could have ever imagine. I could go on and on about how perfect our wedding weekend was, but just know that you will not be disappointed if you book your wedding at the Interlaken Inn. It is a small, non-corporate, family business and they truly want your wedding to be perfect for you.

Words can not fully describe how truly EPIC our wedding weekend was. It seems to be the only word we use to describe the weekend, as well as ALL of our guests. HUGE shout out to the entire Interlaken Wedding Team, but very special thanks to our amazing coordinator Susan. A little background on us… We had been together for years before getting engaged in 2017. We booked Interlaken Inn in 2019 as our wedding venue after considering many destination options including KEY WEST, Florida. We chose Interlaken for its all-inclusive feel in which we could use the grounds/accommodations for all sorts of events the entire weekend including rehearsal dinner, bonfire, after-party, and farewell breakfast. We also loved that all amenities were within walking distance of the hotel. We scheduled our wedding for August 2021, however soon anticipated early on in the pandemic that we would push our date out even farther. Interlaken was extremely accommodating with this request. Therefore, our new date was rescheduled to August 2022 (3 years after our original booking). I (the bride) was very detail oriented while planning our wedding. I wanted to create an epic (there’s that word again) party that no one would ever forget; dripping with flowers, laughter, and carefully curated moments. All these wants/needs were recreated by Susan and her team which ended up being more than I very specifically imagined. Interlaken in conjunction with our other vendors made our weekend quite honestly the best time of our and many other lives. Shout out to Country Gardeners Florist(Millerton, NY), Handyboys LLC.(Millerton, NY), Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream(Canton, CT), Esskay Four Photo Booth(Stratford, CT), Pastry Garden(Poughkeepsie, NY) and Conte Sound Productions(Smithfield, RI), and The Beauty Studio(Ludlow, MA). Please ensure you read my reviews on each of these vendors. I love them all. We stayed at the Basha Cottage which was absolutely perfect. It was a secluded enough space to accommodate our closest family and friends all weekend, who were always hanging out with us even during hair and makeup. At times, I swear we had 35+ people just hanging out around us at the cottage. If we needed anything at any time during our weekend, a staff member was happily available to walk over to the cottage to deliver it. The ceremony site by the lake was perfect and picturesque. Susan and Barb helped execute the ceremony wonderfully, including Barb transporting all guests down to the lake and holding my dress for me as I walked toward the aisle. The garden cocktail area was lovely and intimate. The reception was so much fun. Sam, Barb, and Susan took care of us and ensured we always had what we needed. And then there was the after party which was beyond EPIC (see, that word again). We had a surplus of props and an unbelievable AV set up by Handyboys LLC. The food was fantastic including the rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast. The bartenders were amazing. Thank you SO much to the bartenders for keeping up with our party crowd. Our wedding was arguably the best wedding most of our guests have ever been to including ourselves. Truly epic, unique, tasteful, elegant, fun, and memorable. We cannot thank Interlaken Inn enough for their wonderful services and staff. We were a very high energy crowd and they kept up with us every step of the way and made us all feel extremely special and important. THANK YOU FOREVER. WE LOVE YOU. Interlaken is the most stunning venue. Everyone says how things go wrong during a wedding and how you need to have realistic expectations etc. But honestly, we had the best weekend of our lives here and it far exceeded what we could've imagined! We are still getting compliments on our wedding. Sooo many people told us how much they loved the venue and how it was one of the best weddings they've attended. During Covid we completely changed what we were looking for in a venue and wanted a place where we could have all the events in one location, where we could be mostly outside, and where all our family and friends could mostly stay on location. And because of how long it had been since we'd seen so many family members we wanted a place where we could do a weekend event and really get a chance to catch up with everyone. Once we arrived at Interlaken we knew this is what we were looking for. The service was really outstanding from the day we visited the venue (providing us warm tea and cookies and showing us the photo albums of previous weddings) and continued even after the wedding. Everyone was warm and welcoming and wanted to make sure we felt like we were having the wedding of our dreams. Though everyone was great we worked closest with Vanessa and she is the best. She is so kind and friendly and I honestly don't know how she does it all. She gave us her personal cell number and never made us feel like any question was too dumb or minuscule to answer. She pays close attention to detail and really tried to get to know us as a couple so that we could customize the events, the menus, and the ceremony so it really felt like a reflection of us. The food, service, and grounds are really top notch and each event we had (rehearsal dinner, bonfire, ceremony, and reception) was so well executed. I can't say enough good things about this place or this team, it really is a gem and I hope to be back some day soon!

From our first tour to checking out after our post-wedding brunch, the Interlaken Inn could not possibly have been a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. We were lucky enough to work with Vanessa, the world's most organized, patient, thoughtful, and thorough wedding coordinator. From the moment we booked, she guided us through every step, making sure we were on track with planning on our end, recommending the most brilliant team of vendors, and eventually, masterfully running our rehearsal dinner and bonfire, wedding ceremony and reception, and farewell brunch. Everybody on the Interlaken team is warm, accommodating, and truly at the top of their game. When a drizzle trickled in on our welcome barbeque, the staff quickly and expertly moved entire FULLY SET tables under the tent, without dropping a spoon or spilling a drink. Each element of our weekend was handled with the same level of grace and professionalism, from notes left for us from the staff in our suite, to guests' dietary needs being tended to without any fuss. Because of the brilliant team, I spent the morning of my wedding relaxed and excited- I knew we were in great hands, and all I had to do was get married and enjoy the ride. Multiple guests told us our wedding was among the best they've been to- and several extended their stays at the Interlaken to enjoy the gorgeous property and welcoming ambiance for a little while longer. My husband (!!) and I had the best weekend of our lives, and are so grateful to Vanessa, Barb, Winston, and the entire Interlaken team for truly making magic happen.

If I could give ten stars I would! I can't begin to express how wonderful and amazing the Interlaken Inn Resort Inn in. My daughter was married on July 16th. She and her now husband had a weekend event with activities starting on Friday night with our rehearsal dinner which was clambake. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. This was followed by a bonfire meet and greet on the lake. It was a wonderful way to kick off the weekend. The 4PM wedding on the lake, followed by the 5 PM cocktail party and the dinner and dance were all PERFECT. I can't thank Vanessa and Victoria for their details, timely responses and professionalism. They made you feel as if like personal friends. I enjoyed knowing both of them and the great thing about Interlaken is the personal touch. We explored many venues before settling on Interlaken and from the first visit - according to my daughter and son-in-law - the warm welcome made them know this was the right place. I can't praise Interlaken enough. It's a beautiful venue with outstanding food and management.

Thank you to the Interlaken for making my dream wedding come true! My wedding was postponed two times and I waited three years to have it! Susan was so helpful to make sure everything went off perfectly and able to add in all the extra details that I wanted. The food and the venue was excellent and would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here. The staff was also amazing!

After 2 postponements due to COVID, we recently had our daughter's wedding at the Interlaken Inn and the Interlaken wedding team went above and beyond to help meet the bride's expectations. Every detail was absolutely perfect. We concluded the night with an after party in the game room and it was a great end to a wonderful evening. We used he Basha Cottage, a private cottage on property, to have the girls and moms get ready. The Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage with a fireplace, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Absolutely perfect for having hair and makeup done and have the girls spend the night before in. Thank you again to the Interlaken team again for everything you did to make the day special for Brittany and Kyle.

It was a dream come true for my husband and I to have our wedding at Interlaken! It was so, so fun having all the weekend’s events on the grounds and multiple guests commented how fun it was to park their car Friday and then just enjoy the whole weekend on-site. The beautiful tented pavilion is what grabbed my attention first when we were venue-shopping. I had always wanted an open-air wedding under a tent (and during Covid times it’s become all the more appealing), but many places we looked at with tent options made you rent your own tent and that just seemed like a big hassle and big expense. The fact that their gorgeous tent is already there was a huge selling point. The other dream was for a ceremony on the water, and Interlaken’s waterfront setting is beyond stunning. Our lakeside ceremony actually got rained out, as did the dinner and bonfire the night before – but the rain locations for each event worked beautifully and our coordinator Vanessa communicated with the florist and DJ to move the ceremony setup under the atrium where it was completely magical even minus the lake! The different types of accommodations are another big selling point of this venue. It was so cool that my parents could stay in the Sunnyside house and host a few of their friends for drinks and snacks on the porch Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, three of my college besties all shared a three-bedroom townhouse with a common area and hosted the after-after party, which let us feel like it was the good old days. Another element that really sticks out in my memory is how insanely lovely the penthouse suite was. It was the perfect area to host the bridal party for getting ready the day of the wedding. There was plenty of space for all and it was such a fun pre-wedding vibe. Ahead of the big day, our coordinator Vanessa guided us through every step of the planning process, from letting us know which vendors we should book first to when we needed to make our table seating charts. Overall, we just felt like we were in the hands of professionals throughout the planning process and during the weekend itself. Nobody had to stress about anything because we knew Vanessa and the rest of the staff at Interlaken was on top of it. Best of all, we now have a special vacation destination to return to for many years to come. Can’t wait to come back!

We had our wedding weekend at Interlaken Inn July 9th 2022. What a great venue ! The staff was exceptional. They were accommodating and are extremely detail oriented. My husband and I stayed in the Penthouse Suite for the weekend, which was amazing. It was a perfect space to get ready with my girls the morning of the wedding. My parents and grandparents stayed in the Basha cottage, which was absolutely adorable, it had a kitchen and a hot tub on the deck. Our wedding party stayed in the Sunnyside House. They have a huge wrap around deck and large backyard, where we all hung out the night before the wedding. Our rehearsal dinner was outside in the garden where we had a farm to table dinner. The atmosphere was stunning and the food was out of this world ! The ceremony on the lake was beautiful! Our wedding was perfection ! The staff went above and beyond our expectations ! 11/10 recommend for a wedding weekend you and your guests won’t forget !

My son and daughter in love chose Interlaken Inn! It is the perfect venue for a wedding. The entire weekend was absolutely wonderful!! We arrived early and Vanessa made reservations at a wonderful restaurant for those of us that were there. It was so delicious. As the guests began arriving everyone was enjoying their rooms, the beautiful grounds at the inn and the perfect weather. We had a bit of rain but it did not dampen anyone’s spirits. Friday night there was a barbecue for all guests at the Inn. It was so much fun! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I would love to thank them all by name but do not want to miss anyone! Vanessa, the coordinator and a delight to work with- has a terrific team. She also recommended the florist and DJ. All were excellent. The flowers were over the top the entire weekend. After dinner we had a real sing along with s’mores, spiked coffee and hot chocolate. It was the beginning of a perfect weekend. Saturday, the girls gathered in the brides suite to get their hair and make up. It was so much fun to see them enjoying their time together. A light lunch was served- again with the wonderful staff from the Inn. Saturday night the wedding. It was a perfect affair in every way! The ceremony was touching as they said their own vows. On to the food- The passed appetizers and raw bar were delicious. The specialty drink of mai tais were a huge hit with many of the guests. The staff was seamless in every way. We had the filet and it was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Guests repeatedly said they enjoyed their meal. The DJ got EVERYONE up and dancing. It was such a perfect eveing. There was an after party in a great room that had ping pong, pool table, etc… the guests were served sliders, fries etc… we did not make it to that! We heard a good time was had by those that went. Sunday there was a private brunch. Again, the service and food was great! We will forever remember the amazing weekend at Interlaken Inn! Thank you Vanessa and your wonderful team!!!

We had an unbelievable experience at the Inn. Every single person on staff is a delight. Whatever they're paying Vanessa - they should double it. She made sure everything went perfectly, and coordinated with their recommended florist and DJ to make sure every aspect of the rehearsal dinner, bonfire, ceremony, reception and after party exceeded our expectations. Our guests had a wonderful time. Victoria, Winston, Samantha, and Sarah were all warm, friendly and accommodating. The entire process was a breeze from the day we first toured the venue. This was far and away the most memorable day of our lives. The staff at Interlaken is like a big family, and it felt like they were celebrating with ours.

We feel very lucky to have found Interlaken for our wedding. They had amazing packages that made it very easy to develop our entire weekend and our coordinator, Susan, did an amazing job interfacing with our vendors to run the weekend smoothly. We asked for a few slightly unorthodox things and they were all handled very well!

We were so lucky to have found The Interlaken Inn for our winter wedding! The team at the Interlaken were responsive and easy to communicate with. Susan was very knowledgeable and ensured our day was exactly as we imagined! When COVID started to impact our day, The Interlaken was beyond understanding and flexible - easing some of our worries. We had the most amazing wedding weekend, and highly recommend this venue!

Had an amazing wedding! Michelle did a great job giving us a tour and Susan was amazing once we chose our date. We wanted a wedding with a “full weekend” vibe for those traveling in and love that the Friday bonfire and Sunday breakfast really helped us achieve that dream. The ceremony on the lake was beautiful and everything ran super smoothly. Had enough people on the dance floor that some guests made their own second dance floor! Even in November the weather was great and it was everything we were hoping for.

Our wedding at the Interlaken Inn was everything we envisioned and more. From the initial tour we knew that the Inn had everything we were looking for... the ceremony site on the lake with the gorgeous backdrop, an outdoor tented reception, and rooms for all of our guests to stay and enjoy themselves for the weekend. Everyone on the team was always easily accessible and very accommodating when we postponed our original 2020 date due to COVID. They made the transition into our new 2021 date as seamless as possible. As the date drew closer we knew we could call, text, or email our planner Vanessa whenever one of our last minute questions came up. Our wedding weekend went as smoothly as possible and we never had to worry about details being missed. Our guests raved about how amazing the weekend was from the gorgeous views to the AMAZING food. Even our late night snacks for the after party were something to write home about. I cannot thank the staff at the Interlaken enough for their attention to detail and providing us with the wedding we had always dreamed of.

Absolutely amazing! The team at Interlaken Inn were wonderful to work with. They helped to make sure our day ran as smooth as possible taking care of everything during the entire weekend. They were very receptive to anything we needed/asked and were helpful from day one in making sure we had the day we dreamed off. The food is AMAZING- we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the food. Beautiful grounds made for beautiful pictures. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We also plan to go back to celebrate anniversaries and weekend getaways. They’ve become family and I would recommend them to any couple who are in search of top notch wedding services.

The Interlaken brought our vision to life and made it SO easy to plan a wedding from hundreds of miles away. Vanessa checked in with us beforehand to make sure we were on schedule and always reminding us of what was coming next and how to be sure we were staying on time with different milestones. Our tasting was fabulous and the food was one of the many highlights of the wedding. With an open bar (liquor included) our guests could enjoy a wide variety of cocktails including our specialty cocktail at no additional cost to them (some venues only have beer/wine open bar or have a very limited liquor offering for their open bar). The lake was magical - there are so many places for photos, and plenty of great photographers that know the venue. Likewise with florists - I highly recommend working with vendors on the recommended list, though you are not limited to them! The ceremony area is a short walk from the Inn but a golf cart is also available for guests with mobility issues as well as the bridal party! Barb was my driver and she was FANTASTIC. We will always remember Barb as part of our day and hope to make a trip back to thank her for everything she did for us. Every space we used was beautiful and we felt like royalty on campus - the staff knew who we were by face and name and made sure we wanted for nothing. Our guests enjoyed the many offerings on the campus before and after the wedding and we were so happy that everyone who came had the chance to have their own get-away. Many of our guests changed profile photos on social media to photos from our wedding because the spaces were so beautiful. I keep bobbing around to different topics, and hopefully this review doesn't seem disorganized but this is in part because the Interlaken made every part of our day exactly what we were hoping for and there are so many features and topics that I could go on and on about that I'm not sure where to start and stop. Although we went to see other venues after our first visit at the Interlaken, I think it's safe to say that had us at the personal touches they included at our very first visit to see the venue and the most delicious oven-warmed cookies and Harney tea they served as we took a moment to look through their paperwork while we were on the premises. Having attended and been a part of weddings at other, similar venues, if I could go back, I would go back to the Interlaken for our day every time.

Interlaken Inn was the most perfect wedding venue! We worked with Vanessa and she was so helpful, answered all of our many questions, and was so fun, kind and easy to work with. We started the weekend with a beautiful rehearsal and dinner, followed by a fun bonfire. The next day we were able to enjoy the grounds and have fun getting ready for the beautiful lakefront ceremony. We then headed to a gorgeous cocktail hour and then under the beautiful reception tent. We had a great after party and then wrapped the weekend up with a farewell brunch. We would highly recommend this venue!!

Our wedding at the Interlaken Inn in June 2021 was absolutely unforgettable, and we are so grateful to the incredible team at the Inn that made such a perfect experience possible. Our coordinator Vanessa is so kind and thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dream wedding became a reality. Her patience, organization, and attention to detail was a lifesaver time and time again throughout the planning process, and she was always just an email, text, or phone call away. From coordinating vendors the day of, to handling last minute changes, and setting up all of our ceremony and reception details, she truly did it all. We cannot say enough kind words about her and know that without her efforts, none of this would have been possible! In terms of the venue itself, we knew the moment we set foot on the property back in the fall of 2019 that we had found our dream location. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a gorgeous garden beside an airy and welcoming reception tent. We knew that we wanted a venue where all guests could stay on site without the hassle of transportation, and the Inn offers the perfect set up with a variety of room set ups across the property. Our entire bridal party was able to stay in the Sunnyside House, a beautifully preserved Victorian bed and breakfast, and the original Inn building. We stayed in the newly renovated penthouse suite, complete with a rooftop terrace and hot tub. The penthouse is spacious and has beautiful natural lighting, which makes it perfect for getting ready on site the day of the wedding. The lakeside ceremony area adds spectacular views of the area surrounding the Inn, and the peace and relaxation that can be found in Litchfield County is second to none. We took full advantage of the lakeside area, from canoe excursions and swimming to a rehearsal dinner and welcome bonfire on the shore of Lake Wononscopomuc. The Interlaken Inn’s location is so perfect, with proximity to the Berkshires, breathtaking views on Appalachian trails, and of course the charm of towns like Kent, Millerton, and so many more only a short drive away. We truly cannot say enough kind words about the Interlaken Inn and the amazing group of people who work there- we are so lucky to have had their support to make our big day possible!

I am not normally the person to write reviews, but I had to about the Interlakenn Inn and the wedding team. My husband and I had our wedding there on June 27, 2021. It was the most amazing experience and I am not exaggerating when I say it ran perfectly because of Susan and her team. Susan first of all is the sweetest woman and will make you feel so comfortable and alleviate the stress that comes with planning a wedding. There is so much that comes with choosing this venue such as beautiful rooms, beautiful pool, bonfire, and a farewell breakfast. My bridal party and I stayed in the wood side suite which came with a hot tub and enough room for 8 of us. The day of our wedding Susan herself was coming to our room to check on us, deliver waters and snacks, and generally just help us out. I strongly recommend getting married at this venue. My daughter's wedding was at the Interlaken in 10/10/2020. It was not just a wedding, it was an experience. It was an amazing weekend starting with the rehearsal, through a welcome bonfire, to the ceremony on the gorgeous lake, the cocktail hour in the amazing garden to the tented reception. Planning all of this through a pandemic when we weren't sure it could happen - but it did. The amazing staff was flexible, creative and helpful as we were all so on edge trying to understand how to pull off the wedding. The venue, the food, the whole experience was something we will carry with us forever. Our guests can't stop talking about it. Susan, our planner, Michele our sales person, the Interlaken FAMILY.....thank you all for an amazing experience.

Susan and her team were exceptional in orchestrating the most magical day of our lives! Everything was seamless - from the venue itself, an unpretentious and intimate ‘sleep-away-camp’ with all of the creature comforts to the incredible foliage of New England backdrop - lakeside ceremony, the food! Service, attention to detail. Everything was perfect, can’t thank you enough!!!

Our son and daughter-in-law's wedding was a joyful, incredible experience at the Interlaken Inn. The staff went out of their way to make the event exactly as we dreamed it would be. Susan was exceptional in creating the perfect day, filled with memories for us all. With the beautiful foliage as a backdrop, the ceremony took place lakeside...and it was magical!

We just got married at the Interlaken on 10.18.2020 and it was incredible. We had a small intimate wedding at the lake followed by a dinner reception. Jodie and the team at Interlaken were amazing! I couldn’t have imagined it any other way! We stayed at the Basha cottage and it was beautiful! Highly recommend the Interlaken Inn for any wedding or event! We are already planning to head back next year for our anniversary!
