r couples with 2015 weddings. If you are able to attend this event, I recommend it over an individual tasting. I feel that we were able to try more options this way, and socialize with other couples also using Prom. Our bartenders did a great job keeping up with our thirsty crowd. They had signs up at the bar that listed what was hosted and what was part of the cash-bar. While I never got a chance to try our hors d'oeuvres, the guests thoroughly enjoyed them. We did the Southwest Phyllo cups, the bacon onion tarts and a fruit/cheese display. As for dinner - you really can customize as much of your dinner as you want. We had Cesar salad - dressing was kind of heavy, but still good. Main courses were Minnesota Chicken (chicken stuffed with dressing), Beef Medallions and Veggie Ravioli. All were equally delicious. And we were able to choose the type of sides we wanted - we had green beans and red baby potatoes. Both were seasoned well and tasted nice. One thing that was above and beyond the expected, is that Prom Catering even made just one gluten free meal for a guest that had severe gluten sensitivities. I appreciated the effort and care they put into making sure each guest was able to enjoy dinner. Price-wise, I think Prom is in line with other catering companies - about what you'll find elsewhere. But I felt that the quality of service we received was well worth the price we paid for our food and drinks. I'd recommend Prom Catering and would definitely use them again for future events.

worry about it. The only thing I wasn't pleased about was asking permission to tap a keg I had already paid for. They needed to locate a family member, bride or groom to sign off on it which was unnecessary.

ble in the area. The guests raved about the location and food. Amy was great with the planning and always answered all of our questions, however there seemed to be some communication issues. The day of the wedding was a bit rough. None of the staff greeted anyone in the wedding party and directed them where to go. They did help with centerpiece placement, but only after the MOB had to track down a staff person. The music for the ceremony was really bad and we had to try and figure it out all on our own and try and fix the problems we were having. This added to the stress from the day. Most of the staff was great. However one staff did argue with our photographers for wanting to take one picture with us outside before the sun set completely. Tartan park did take care of all set up and take down and clean up. Everything was in one location, making it easy for the wedding party as well as guests. I'm sure it is rather pricey compared to other options, but it was overall a great venue and we had an amazing day.

icious:) The room looked fabulous and I loved the additional space of the fireplace room. We had the bar in there with extra space for people to hangout and talk as well as being able to fit our photo booth in there! The only downside was that I ended up bringing in my own wedding coordinator in for the day of the wedding for a couple hours because they had an event in our room that morning and did not start setting up the room until 2:00pm. I wanted to feel comfortable knowing someone was there that knew how I wanted everything set up and how it was suppose to look especially in such a short time frame since our reception started at 4:30 pm. I also had to find a couple people who were not invited to the wedding (friends of my sister in law) to come put on chair covers since they couldn't be put on earlier and I wanted to save myself $1200 in additional fees for chair cover delivery and set up. Overall everything was wonderful and my husband and I were very happy.

nd the great experience we had when we met with them. They contract exclusively with Prom Catering, and we were very happy with the customer service we had with both the Tartan staff and the Prom staff. They were so helpful in setting everything up for us; we didn't have to worry about a thing. The night went smooth and everyone had a great time - not a single hiccup to deal with. (As an added bonus, the beautiful grounds make for great photo opps, too).

and value are concerned, Prom fully satisfied us, and especially our guests. Our guests are still talking about the MN chicken and the sausage-stuffed mushrooms. We could not be happier with everything that Prom provided. You get what you pay for, and with Prom, you will not be disappointed. If only we could've used Prom for our bar service as well!
