'll miss it happen as it is so worth the consideration. It's the setting that has our guests continuing to comment what a beautiful wedding and reception my daughter and her husband had. The ceremony had wonderful lighting and the chairs arranged in rows to enhance an aisle for the bridal processional. The courtyard was the perfect spot for our cocktail hour, light music and grazing table time. We had an artist onsite sketching the guests for a keepsake momento along with an homemade oyster charm at the table where guests wrote best wishes to the bride & groom. Once inside the room dazzled with the table settings, linens and decor that transformed the space. The Crazy Dutchman did an amazing job as the caterer and taking care of bartending duties. The food was delicious and the buffet setup arranged nicely in the corner of the chapel.
When it came to the Coordination we were blessed to have both Alisa and Alyssa on hand. They worked tirelessly to ensure everything was spectacular. As the Mother-of-the-Bride I was able to enjoy myself and not have any worries or questions thrown my way. Their level of care showed with all the communication leading up to the big day and at the rehearsal with all their attention to detail.
What added to the experience of selecting The I'On Chapel was having the ability to have the rehearsal dinner across the street at Community Table and a welcome gathering at O'Brion's. It really enhanced the weekend as our guests knew exactly where to be on wedding day having just been in proximity to the chapel. Even after the reception, guests lingered back over at O'Brion's which was such a nice option.
A couple of things to be mindful is we felt our gathering of 74 people for dinner and dancing worked just fine inside, but if there were more guests, I believe the dancing would have needed to shift to the courtyard or some tables placed there. We were fortunate on not needing a tent, but had rain occurred that is something else to consider because the guests do need to exit to the courtyard for the room flip from ceremony to reception.

All in all, I can't say enough positive things as the wedding and reception honestly exceeded our expectations which is a wonderful feeling to have.

HORRIBLE communication skills. They never answer the phone, never respond to emails. If you want a timely response they are not your people. I wanted to simply set up a phone call ...
to ask questions so I didn’t have to wait weeks for a response and they responded with a time which I replied to and I never got a call. I called them and they never answered. I left a voice mail and they still never called back. It’s been a week. I have tried and tried and nothing. Very disappointing from the start.

eautiful so all she had to do is just enhance what was there naturally. I took that to heart so when I saw this venue I knew it was "the one" this place is gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice.
also what the pictures don't show you is the neighborhood surrounding the chapel which is straight up out of a Hallmark movie. the neighborhood is so beautiful I actually looked at any home available in the area.

G....they also only charged $500 for a 10am-10pm time slot. The chairs were included! They give military discounts and they allowed my doggies to be included (for a tiny, very reasonable fee). They were very responsive and extremely friendly and helpful with any issues we contacted them about! I couldn’t recommend them more and honestly my entire family said the venue made my wedding perfect!

to the budget. It was amazing that this venue was available and at such a great price for our Micro Wedding. We are super excited to have our wedding and ceremony there especially on a Sunday. The venue is gorgeous and Lauren and her team are super helpful.

Sadly, my fiance and I had to cancel our wedding due to the entire COVID 19 Pandemic. Our reception venue had to cancel on us as they could not abide by the social distancing ordin...
ance for our 25 guests. At this time, we can not reschedule as we are still currently living in a situation of uncertainty, and do not wish to put any of our guests at risk health wise. We provided more than a months notice prior to our cancellation. In light of the current extenuating circumstances, a full refund of our deposit would have been the right thing to do. Instead, our $500.00 deposit was kept. We have since followed up regarding the refundable $150.00 for cleaning expenses. Obviously, with no venue taking place, there was no clean-up. There has been no response from either Pam, or the owner of Ten Thousand Years, LLC. We are already deeply saddened by the fact that we had to cancel our wedding. Making no concessions, in light of the Pandemic, seems unjust. I would not ever recommend this venue in the future.

date as many brides have had to do. You selected I’On Meeting House for your ceremony only. Although your reception venue cancelled on you, we were able to still accommodate the ceremonial part of your wedding and still can. The reservation fee of $500 is contractually non-refundable and is always strongly recommended rescheduling (without penalty) if life’s circumstances cause a date change. We continued to work diligently with you for some time to reschedule your day without success. You never paid the additional cleaning fee to us so there would be no refund. We are all in this together and I truly wish you the best.

ce we could find anywhere. It had its short comings. The place was a bit dated inside and there appeared to be a lot of restrictions on things you could not do because of neighborhood complaints. Every other vendor gave us a full refund. We had scheduled a food truck for the reception and thought it would be nice to give back to local business by donating our deposit to the food truck, allowing them to use it to serve the local community on our reception date. Not only would Pam not refund or work with us, she flat out wouldn't respond. I'll be keeping a close eye on this venue for the day of our reception. As per their contract, they only issue refunds if the location is rebooked on our date. It's just a sad shame that during these times, they weren't willing to find a better solution. I would strongly suggest avoiding this location and read the contract carefully. The human factor means nothing to these people.

e because of the cute, quaint neighborhood and as soon as we entered and saw how beautiful the inside of the building is we were sold. It feels very clean and symmetrical with tons of natural light. Its super plain so you can dress it up or keep it as is. For me, I fell in love with the simplicity of the space. The set up is perfect-it has a separate room in the back with bathrooms and storage space. As a bride, the location is very convenient as well-its across the street from an Inn and a few restaurants/Pub and next door is a salon- making the morning of my wedding very simple! We received a lot of feedback from guests on the beauty of the building and the convenience of parking as well.
Working with Pam, was one of the few easy things about planning a wedding! She responded to emails and phone calls immediately. She always made herself available for me to "take another look" at the place for planning purposes. She worked well with my planner and was present for the rehearsal and ceremony serving as an invaluable resource. After working with Pam for months during the planning process, she'd become someone who my fiancé and I found a lot of comfort in. The night before our wedding, she gave us the BEST wedding advice we've gotten and its something we wont forget! Having developed a personal relationship with her, made the ceremony even more meaningful and the memories of the Ion Meeting House even sweeter. Having my ceremony at the Ion Meeting House is the best decisions I made when it comes to our wedding day and Id recommend it to anyone! (I haven't received my professional pictures back yet, but here are a few that I received from guests)
