Mark was great to work with. Irene’s was delicious!!! We had a really good feeling about them after realizing how upfront and humble they are (as our food tasting was ok and one of our main dishes were messed up). They made a special dish for my husband to pick up and us to try again. It was delicious and we signed on with them. They made coordinating so easy. All the wait staff were super friendly and very attentive. Our wedding meal was sooo yummy and everyone even told us how good the food was and how nice it was they were accommodating to special diets. We would definitely recommend Irene’s!!!

The food was very good. All of our guests with food allergies were very well taken care of. One guest with severe diary and gluten allergies told me she was super impressed with the food. We did notice that the food during our tasting was fantastic, and the sauce/marinade for the chicken that we really liked wasn’t as prominent on the wedding day so some guests complained about the chicken seeming slightly dry. Some guests towards the end of the line also commented on dwindling quantities because the caterers were hesitant to open up the next batch (but leftovers get donated to a local church that helps feed those in need so it’s for a good cause).

Delicious, delicious high quality ingredients and food. Excellent service. They did a phenomenal job for our wedding.

Irene’s catered our wedding on 9.24.22 at The Ivy House and did an outstanding job! We went with the stations package and our guests loved it!! The food was fantastic and well displayed and we got many compliments on it! The staff went above and beyond to help my husband and I and made sure we had everything we need all throughout the evening! They even gave us a to go bag afterwards. Mark was great to work with as well during the planning process! He was super responsive and always answered all my questions and emails right away! We also loved that Irene’s likes to use local vendors for their ingredients/food and that was one of the reasons we chose them! We definitely recommend Irene’s Catering!

The representative I spoke with on the phone to talk about menu sampling was extremely hostile and rude to me. Do not bother interacting with this belligerent vendor unless you enjoy being screamed at. I only wanted to hear about their menu and was treated like dirt and yelled at for some reason. A bit puzzled by this interaction from a psychological standpoint... Sorry for being interested in your business I guess .

Irene’s is a great catering option if you need one for your wedding! We had to hire last minute when our initial venue went out of business and Mark was quick to reply and help us get booked. He & the chef we’re attentive at the tasting and made sure we felt comfortable with the chosen appetizers & meal. As for the day of the wedding, the food was 10/10. I had so many guests say it’s the best they’ve had at a wedding before and I agree! The Irene’s Chicken was recommended by Mark and it was the star of the show! Other than that we did have some issues with service and that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars. First, half the staff didn’t show up- so everything was behind & chaotic, and other vendors had to step in to setup and serve food/water which was unfortunate. Also we had miscommunications about allergies. Allergy free meals were not served first nor were the guests informed I’d the family style food was safe for them, so many ended up eating much later, and one even almost ate food that would have caused a reaction. I recommend more clear instructions if you have guests with allergies. Otherwise I would book them again due to the upfront service from Mark & the amazing food!

We loved Irene’s as our caterer for our wedding! They were very punctual, professional, & friendly. They were really accommodating of our needs, & of last-minute changes too that we made to our menu which was so nice. They were very clear in their communication throughout the whole event and came up to us several times throughout the night to check in, even just to compliment our wedding decorations & such which was so nice too! They were SO friendly & nice, especially the head chef! With all that, the food was decent & very affordable. They did everything they could to make our day the best day ever. In summary, 10/10, highly recommend Irene’s Catering for your events services 😊 thank you!!

Irene’s was terrific! They were our first tasting and after a few other tastings we came back to Irene’s because they had the best tasting food and price! Mark at Irene’s was very easy to work with and super attentive to all the details. Once Covid hit, they walked through all the changes that needed to be made for a buffet. They were willing to work with us on changes up to two weeks before! They even said they could work out of a garage if they had to for our wedding. They helped not only with the buffet, but also cutting and plating our sheet cakes, and serving pizza at the end of the night. Chicken Irene is SOOO good! I have gotten many compliments. Irene’s was very professional! Definitely check out Irene’s!

I suggest all engaged couples stay away from Irene's. My fiance and I took the time to look through all of their options and create two separate menus to quote out. Once receiving our quotes, we chose which proposal we could like to move forward with and scheduled a tasting with Mark. Weeks later, out of the blue, he randomly emailed us stating that he canceled our tasting and said "I do not believe that our menu is what you are looking for". There was no communication aside from sending in our quote request, choosing which one we wanted to move forward with, and scheduling a tasting. I asked for an explanation as to why they would cancel with us and why they thought a menu that we chose wasn't what we wanted. I received no response from Mark with an explanation and in turn emailed their general email. I received a response saying "this has never happened before" and that they would get back to me with an explanation. I never received a response from them either. I am thankful we never handed over money to them. We will be happy to book through another caterer that has compassion and communication skills.

Irene's was absolutely wonderful from start to finish for our wedding! We worked closely with Mark to coordinate our big day. He was very responsive and detail-oriented from my first inquiry, to the tasting, finalizing the menu, and finally serving up our meal. Mark and team provided our guests with an incredible spread, made from scratch and our guests could tell the difference. We received multiple compliments about the hand-passed apps, the dinner, and the late night snack. Serving a great meal was very important to us as we hosted our wedding and Irene's helped us deliver that! The staff at our event was kind and attentive - even setting aside appetizer plates for both my husband and I to make sure we got a few bites as we mingled during the cocktail hour. I can't recommend Irene's enough - make sure to try the buttercream brownies if you have a chance!

Irene's was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Mark was so personable, the food was DELICIOUS and so much/so filling, they were so accommodating about food allergies, and the lead ladies were just AMAZING and helped SO MUCH; reminding me of things I needed to do, putting out our cake, etc. I cannot recommend Irene's enough and look forward to working with them in the future for any catering needs. Our wedding was for 200 people, and the food prep and execution was perfect.

I wish that there was an option to give six stars because they definitely would earn every single one of them. From the very beginning Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to the highest standard. He would think of even the smallest detail to make sure everything went perfectly. On the day of the wedding my guests were blown away by how delicious the food tasted and how top notch the service was. One of the biggest decisions of a wedding day is who will provide the meal and I cannot say enough about how much we loved working with Irene’s. If I can give one piece of advice to brides it would without a doubt be to book with Irene’s.

Irene's Catering could not have been easier to work with! Mark kept an open line of communication and helped us through any questions or concerns we had. Mark worked with us to keep the food within our budget. When it came to the day of the wedding the food was delicious! The people working the event were helpful and made food service quick and easy.

We had a great experience with Irene's. Mark was so accommodating during the planning and the event staff day of was awesome. We had a lot of compliments on dinner, would recommend the buffet veggie lasagna!

Irene's Catering was GREAT, food was AMAZING, and staff was WONDERFUL. Mark was very prompt with emails and phone calls. Katie was in charge on the "day of" and we loved her - she also met with us early at the venue to go over everything. I cannot stop thinking about the food (Irene's chicken is delicious). We did family style, and to my knowledge, it worked out really well. We also utilized Irene's for their Bar Service (which we got a discount because we used their catering) and we heard nothing but great things.

Working with Mark was amazing. He responded to my many many emails promptly and was very accommodating. The services provided on our wedding day were alright. My food was room temperature, and I had to spit out a chunk of my tenderloin because it was impossible to chew. (Other guests loved the food and that's why I gave a 3 star review) On our contract, we had written that we wanted a plate of hors do oeuvres, but we never got that. My aunt had to go to the kitchen to get her food because she wasn't served, and the staff was at other tables. A common complaint amongst guests was that when they ate a bite of cake and got up to get a drink, they would come back to an empty table. The same thing happened to me...so I didn't really get to eat a bite of my own cake (besides the cake cutting). I addressed these issues on the follow up survey and they gave me a gift for their poor performance.

Irene's went above and beyond to cater a delicious (and allergen friendly) meal for our wedding. We worked with Mark to schedule tastings, make our selections, and make sure our food was almost all gluten free (which was a big deal for us!). Mark was excellent to work with: attentive, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to emails or phone calls. The food at our wedding was great - we got lots of compliments. The servers and bar tenders also did an amazing job. Highly recommended!

We worked with Mark leading up to the wedding. He was very quick to respond to our emails and very detail-oriented, which was wonderful because we did all of our planning out-of-state. Mark made sure we were well taken care of. Irene's did a wonderful job catering for our wedding. We were on a budget and it was crazy how much we got what we did from Irene's. It was actually a steal! They provided linen, flatware, and china for us, as well, which was nice because we didn't have to go out to another vendor to rent. The whole day, Irene's staff made sure that my husband and I were happy and full. They were so sweet and very attentive. They even put aside two plates filled with hors-d'oeuvres to make sure we were able to have some. They also packed us a to-go box after the wedding just in case we didn't eat at dinner. The food was delicious (especially the hand-passed apps)!

food was fantastic at our wedding. Everyone raved about it. They were reasonably priced as well. I will definitely use them again if I ever need a caterer.

Irene's did a great job with the food and reception set up on our wedding day! They set up all of our tables for dinner as well as the cake and appetizers and they did an amazing job. Communication was very good leading up to the wedding and the food was delicious! We would highly recommend them!

Irene's was AMAZING at our wedding reception, I would recommend to anyone! Excellent price, way lower than the other caterers we looked at and excellent service to top it off! We were extremely pleased with the communication ahead of time, willingness to help setup runners, centerpieces, etc. and as the Bride I even had my plate filled for me in the buffet line! Our guests were extremely pleased with the chicken Irene and beef tips meal, as were we. Book Irene's and ask for Mark!!

Irene's did an absolutely fantastic job at my wedding, which was fairly large at 155 guests + 5 children. I received so many compliments from my guests that the food was fantastic. Prior to the wedding, Mark, our catering manager, was responsive and accommodating with changes to the menu or guest count. The day of, the entire catering staff was professional and easy to work with. They are reasonably priced and make a quality product. They were definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

The food was fantastic. We did plated salads and buffet. The buffet took longer than they anticipated but otherwise it went very well.

Irene's Catering was far and above a vendor that we could tell really, truly cared about making sure everything was just the way we envisioned our wedding reception to be. The staff at Irene's worked with us closely leading up to the wedding to plan our menu and linens. They also worked with our reception site vendor to help set up our tables with decorations and centerpieces ahead of time on the day of the reception. The team also acted with such integrity when there was a slight miscommunication from one of their staff (stemming from someone who had left the company be0tween the time we booked their services and the time of our reception). They went above and beyond to fix the issue and we are so grateful for their efforts to keep us happy! The linens they provided were stunning! It was worth the time spent to go to their showroom and have a one-on-one planning session with their staff as everything turned out just as we had envisioned it. We would highly recommend the food as well. Our dishes were sophisticated and so delicious! We enjoyed the tasting session and discussion with the chef at the time and were pleased when they were able to adjust their menu slightly to meet our needs. Again, we would recommend Irene's catering without any hesitation to our friends and family. Our loved ones made many comments afterwards (up to 2 weeks later) that the food was exceptional!

Irene's really delivered! My husband and I were having a difficult time finding a caterer that we really trusted to deliver affordable yet delicious food for our wedding. We did hit a few road bumps with personal issues, but Irene's never faltered in making our wedding experience everything we wanted.

We used Irene's Catering for our wedding at Camp Wandawega this weekend and were beyond impressed! Not only did they accommodate our quirky outdoor venue, but the food was absolutely delicious and their prices were very fair. They executed a beautiful charcuterie set up and family style feast. We had the time out our lives and so did our guests in large part because of the lovely meal! Thank you!!

Irene's Catering recently catered our small wedding at our rural home. We had about 24 guests, with Irene's providing hand-passed hors d'oeuvres. The staff, consisting of Karina, Savannah and Mark, set things up, prepared much of the food in our kitchen so it was fresh, passed hors d'ouvres and cleaned up flawlessly. I couldn't have asked for better service or better food. All of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed everything. I would highly recommend Irene's Catering to anyone hosting a catered event. My new husband and I are so happy we chose them.

We had food stations: Potato bar, Pasta Station, a Carving one with pork, Salad and I think the coffee station was included with the package. I was worried we weren't going to have enough food since we didn't go with a normal buffet but I think in the end we got more food with the stations. My family loved the stations idea and are still talking about it because it was new to them (they're in the dark ages!) The staff was really helpful to my grandparents by going out of their way and asking my grandma if they could go to the station for her (she's in a wheelchair) and I didn't even ask them to. They were very accommodating especially with me planning last minute... I had to push my wedding date up several months because I fell in love with my venue and had to take the date that was available! Overall I was very happy, I'd recommend Irene's to other brides, In fact I already have to my best friend who just got engaged.

This year my husband I will be celebrating our 5th year wedding anniversary, and people are STILL talking about our food! Our couple style was relaxed and inviting, so we decided on live action food stations. From the banquet servers who cleared our plats to the chef who made our awesome fajitas, everyone was so fun, upbeat and willing to go the extra mile for just about any request. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I picked Irene's because we liked that their menu was a bit different than those of other caterers in the area while still being traditional food most guests would enjoy. Overall, the food was great and the service we received was amazing. The only drawback was that the portion sizes were much smaller than what we tried during our tasting, but I'm sure cooking for two vs. 150 accounted for that. Overall, great food, service and value. Irene's is definitely a good bang for your buck.

The food was wonderful and was for a great price. They didn't take instructions well for the set up and my Mom had to change much of it before the ceremony. Their presentation and professionalism was below average but it was worth it for the price because we couldn't afford more.

It isn't easy finding a caterer that has good food, perfect portions AND is under $30 per guest. But they do exist! Irene's was one of the suggested caterers given to us through our venu and both my husband and I were very pleased with them. They have been in the business for quite a long time. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and will make time for you no matter what. They were easy to get in touch with if we had questions or concerns and always quick to respond. They were patient and accomidating when our guest list changed a few times at the last minute (and trust me, it will!) They got everything set up and in place on time. We got a ton of compliments on the hors d'oeuvres we chose to have served (hot and cold) as well as what was served for dinner. We rented all of our linens, flatware, plates, glasses and some decorations through them which made the rental process so much less complicated. Schedule a tasting with them- the chef comes out and talks to you about the food you selected to try- I guarentee you won't be dissapointed!

Irene's had delicious food! Our appetizers were killer! Service was great. We had a hard time finding a caterer that didn't penalize us for having a smaller wedding, but Irene's was happy to work for us! Only complaint was that they forgot the butter at the reception and some guests said their food was "lukewarm" when they received it. Just part of the problem having food catered in to a place with a closet sized kitchen.

Irene's catering had an excellent choice of food to fit our budget. At our food tasting there was several options for food choices we had specified. We had chosen to have food stations which was a unique and awesome option. Irene's had been a little difficult to get a hold of at times which was sometimes frustrating, but they were also very detailed and almost seemed to double as a wedding planning service as well. They put together a very detailed itinerary of our wedding night and were very knowledgable of the layout and table/chair options at our reception venue. They also helped decorate the venue and brought some of their own decorations to tie everything together. The only thing that I was not pleased with was that the appetizers were supposed to be served throughout dinner as well, yet they had run out. Although, it may have been because our guests ate too many too quickly. I was also told that our fruit and cheese station would be left out all night but it was taken away after dinner. All together Irene's is very accomodating and friendly.

Irene's proved to be a great addition to our wedding! Though they were difficult to contact at times, they made sure that everything was up to our expectations and worked with us on every detail. They offered multiple tastings and worked great with our budget! Everyone was very friendly and the staff on the wedding day was great! I marked down slightly on professionalism only because all of the guests were served their salads before the we got ours at the head table and before the prayer. It was a tiny blip, though. Irene's was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend them!

I've been warned about having my wedding catered, the food probably won't be hot, as good, etc. But I got so many compliments on the food and how good it was! It was delicious and affordable. And the bonus was that we got to take home any leftovers we wanted, which we did and people ate it at the gift opening... but there was so much food, we had to give a lot away to family members- who greatly appreciated it!

We really liked working with Debbie for our catering needs. They had a ton of food for the tasting and were great to work with. We planned our wedding from DC and did a lot through email. They always updated our proposals and kept us up to date. We thought our main courses at the wedding were a little dry, but that is hard part about feeding 200 people. I used the in house florist at Irene's for my floral needs. I think Karen did a great job and was super easy to work with, she meet with us in person twice and then we did stuff over the phone and email. She had great ideas, and I think the flowers and ceterpieces came out fantastic. Overall great value too!

The food was amazing; hot and fresh. The service was wonderful. They were willing to help with ANYTHING! When the head count changed and funds were limited, Debbie was willing to work things out to get exactly what was expected. Loved it!!!

We loved working with Irene's! There were occasional miscommunications and slow responses, but the positives outweighed that negative. Deb was our contact and she made sure we stayed within our budget while still having an amazing meal. We had some special dietary restrictions within our wedding party and Irene's was very willing and helpful to accomodate those (unlike many other vendors!). The staff at the event were very professional and the presentation of everything was very well done. I would use Irene's again.

Irene's catering was nothing short of amazing! Our original caterer went out of business five months before the big day and we contacted Irene's. They were so accommodating and understanding. The food was amazing, portions were very generous and the staff was so helpful! They decorated our tables for us, put out our placecards and table cards and helped with other misc things that was so above and beyond. We received so many compliments on our food!
