Iron Gate Farm-Wedding Venue in Clover, SC

Original contract, signed by all, said no changes to contract allowed less than 14 days prior to event. If changes made, all had to sign a new contract. 12 days prior to our daughter's wedding, the manager of the Iron Gate in Clover, SC tried to change the contract and when we tried to contact she was unavailable. The day we were suppose to decorate hew to ask why she did not respond. Instead made the caterers angry to boot. She change the time for us to decorate and then, when our hour was up, rudely started shutting fans off and lights out. She arrived a few minutes late and had the audacity to continually ask if we were done, how much longer, etc. The day of the wedding she was a little better behaved but not much. We had the venue until 8P and before 730P asked if we were ready to start taking down. Music still playing! She got into a fight with the caterers in front of guests regarding clean up. We had assured her the place would be cleaned up. Until this venue gets another manager and lets this gal go I would not recommend them whatsoever. It is a shame because the venue is beautiful.

Iron Gate Farm was the perfect venue for the rustic vision we had for our wedding! From the moment we walked onto the grounds, we were in love. It was PERFECT! Then, we sat down and talked with Erin, venue manager, and we were even more pleased. She gave us so much peace of mind and answered all of the questions we had, honestly. You really do get a lot of bang for your buck here. It included everything we wanted/needed plus more. We went with the highest package offered for many reasons, the biggest being the day of coordinator and timeline planning piece. Erin was very THOROUGH and really helped put a plan in place that would make our day flow smoothly. We were able to do everything we wanted on our wedding day. Nothing was forgotten or left out. We couldn’t ask for a better wedding experience, from start to finish, everything was just beautiful. The size, location and views were just perfect! Even in the midst of a pandemic, the venue remained positive and encouraged us to keep hope alive that we would be able to have the wedding of our dreams, and we did! More that anything, what we loved most about this venue was how personable, helpful, accommodating and positive Erin was. We are forever grateful to this venue and it’s staff for making our dream wedding happen, in the midst of a pandemic.

Absolutely stunning venue. The manager Kathy was easy to work with and was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this venue.
