IronOaks at Sun Lakes

Carolyn initially seemed very caring and responsive, however, after our tour, I guess she decided that she did not want our money and did not care to engage with us. We had made the decision to move forward with booking Iron Oaks because it felt like our dream location. However, after sending messages and receiving no responses, I then called and left a voicemail to inform Carolyn that we were interested in moving forward. I asked her to please give me a call back and share what we needed to do for this. She didn't. Two days later, I followed up with another message inquiring about her lack of response, to which she responded that she was out of office and would be back on Tuesday and informed me that we could chat then, she also claimed she did not receive my voicemail. I was very understanding of this, everyone deserves a break and there was no urgency to book. We agreed to chat on Tuesday when she returned. Unfortunately, fast-forward to the following Wednesday and I still had no word from her. It has now been MONTHS since she returned and she has still not bothered to respond to us, despite her continuously posting on the venue's social media. I even sent a follow-up message that was, unsurprisingly, ignored. She ghosted us. It's heartbreaking to have to deal with this sort of communication when we had our hearts set on this place but I guess I should be grateful because if this is the way she is treating us even PRIOR to contracting with them, I am fearful as to how she would've been on the day of the actual wedding. Not sure what her hang-up was about us, and I won't take this opportunity to speculate, but I do not recommend anyone book this location due to the treatment that we received. No one deserves to be treated this way. But ultimately, she did us a favor. We found a grand place that will give us a much better experience than Iron Oaks and coordinators who make us feel like valued consumers. I recommend you do the same! Take your hard-earned money to a place that actually cares about you.

My wife and I could not be happier with our wedding! Jessica Dargle is awesome! She made the process easy and stress free. The venue is beautiful and the food was fantastic! We had an unforgettable wedding and would highly recommend Iron Oaks at Sun Lakes to any couples looking for a beautiful, affordable wedding and reception.

Beautiful venue! Ashley worked with me from another state throughout the entire planning process and made my wedding so fun and beautiful! The food and drinks were very good and the service was great. My husband and I were so happy with everything.

Amazing! My husband and I were suppose to get married in April of 2020, well that was before the country shut down. We still got married but postponed the ceremony to 2021. Ashley Mills was hands down the best person to work with, even during a pandemic she was always there to help and support us with every step when planning our wedding day. Ashley always had a smile when we worked with her and always willing to help with ideas. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food is amazing and the staff is incredible. Ashley helped make our smaller than planned wedding seem as if we did not have half as many people. I could go on and on about the amazing experience we have received over the last two years working with Ashley and her team, but there are not enough words. It was hands down the best day and honestly even better than we imagined. Blew my expectations out of the water and I would definitely work with Ashley and her team. They say planning a wedding is stressful, but honestly my experience was stress free and I am so glad we were able to have our wedding here.
