I am SO happy I booked Ivory and Stone for my wedding! I did the Final Details Coordination package and it was perfect for me. Rhylae was my planner and she was incredible. She was so detail oriented and organized, she helped me think of ideas I never considered and bounce ideas off of. She took care of all of the communication behind the scenes in the last few weeks before the wedding and allowed us to focus on other things. Our rehearsal was very thorough, and on the wedding day her and our assistant made sure everything went so smoothly. I didn't feel stressed for a moment on the wedding day and everything was packed up and ready to go before we even had time to think about it. As a type A bride it was incredible to know you were in good hands and had someone who would execute your vision perfectly on the day of.

I cannot begin to thank Robin and the ivory + stone team enough! I had the most incredible day and it was all thanks to their hard work! I was so appreciate of the creative and organizational help to make the daunting process of wedding planning easier. Where do I even start?!? Ivory and Stone was easily the BEST decision I ever made in the wedding planning process. Robyn is incredible, knows the industry, is not afraid to advocate for her couples...she was truly made for this job. Not only did she make our day seamless - she was so fun to be around, always made sure we had a drink in our hand, always checked in on us. Our guests raved not only about our wedding but also about her and her team (our other vendors did too!). Robyn went ABOVE and beyond in every aspect of our wedding. I was truly blown away with how detailed oriented, thoughtful and caring Robyn was with everything. When I began searching for a wedding coordinator I felt so overwhelmed- there were so many options! Luckily a family friend referred me to Robyn at Ivory and Stone. I am so grateful to have been connected- Robyn is the absolute best! The best decision I made for my wedding was to hire Robyn from Ivory + Stone. Please do yourself a favor and book her immediately. My wedding day was absolutely perfect - the entire day followed an immaculate schedule (I am extreme type A and nothing makes me happier) - and I had the best day of my life, in large part due to Robyn’s planning and execution skills. Robyn was referred to me by the event manager at my venue (La Jolla Woman’s Club) because she thought Robyn and I would click. “Click” is and understatement - Robyn is personable, knowledgable, amazing, and was the perfect person to work with. Robyn embraced my crazy ideas (e.g. champagne tower with 3 minutes of daylight left), reeled me in to save money when I needed it (e.g. I thought I needed 3 bars for a 100 person wedding - you don’t!), and made the chaotic weeks leading up to my wedding feel easy. Literally the week before I had people asking me how I felt and if I was stressed, and I could honestly tell them that “NO I was not stressed” because everything had already been handled, planned, and ready to be executed by Robyn. Robyn handled the coordination among all of my vendors (I had like 15+!!!), stressful family dynamics, and multiple location changes with ease. Robyn went above and beyond, even bustling my dress and securing my veil because my bridesmaids were nowhere to be found. I can’t thank Robyn enough for helping create the wedding of my dreams.

My husband and I are still in awe of how BEYOND PERFECT our wedding day was because of Robyn and Sara! We began working with Ivory + Stone Event Co. after our engagement in 2018 up until our wedding in October 2021 due to COVID. Hiring them was the single best decision we made for our wedding. I started my wedding planning journey with the presumption that I would be able to plan it myself, and quickly came to the realization that I was out of my league and needed a professional to rely on. My husband and I consulted a wedding DJ friend of ours who has worked numerous planners in San Diego, and he cited Robyn and Sara as “the only planners he’d hire if he were to get married”. We clicked with Robyn and Sara the moment we met them and instantly knew that we were in good hands. Not only do they bring a high caliber of professionalism and knowledge, but they are so down to earth and we felt like we were planning our wedding with friends (really, really organized friends). They have a vast amount of experience working with different vendors and were able to craft a personalized list within our budget for us to select from. It's pretty incredible how they managed to morph the daunting task of planning a wedding into an enjoyable process! Robyn and Sara truly went above and beyond for us and I cannot sing their praises enough. They folded napkins the night before our wedding, picked up our silverware so that we could avoid fees, HAND-TIED 100 loaves of bread with paper and twine, and countless other gestures to make sure that my husband and I had our dream wedding. I am SO glad that I opted for full planning. I saw the tremendous amount of work that went into contacting vendors, finding vendors within budget, coordinating timing between vendors, ensuring cohesive design, and keeping everything organized and would have been overwhelmed if I had to take on that responsibility. Robyn and Sara are worth their weight in gold! They are meticulous in everything that they do. For example, Robyn combed through all of my vendor contracts before I signed for anything and found mistakes in two contracts that would have cost me a pretty penny. If you can't tell by the length of this review, I can’t give enough positive feedback about my experience with Robyn and Sara. They kept me sane and guided my through the planning process with ease. They went above and beyond what any of my friends’ planners did for them, they were extremely patient with me when I changed my mind 10000x, and they kept me stress free. Most of all, they were the best advocates that I could have asked for. If I wasn’t happy with a vendor, they did all of the communicating for me. On the day of my wedding, I was not concerned or nervous because I was confident in my A-team of vendors. Robyn and Sara had the wedding planned down to the minute and everything clicked into place perfectly. I was able to focus on my husband and enjoy the day, fully knowing that my planners would handle any issues that arose.

AMAZING, THE BEST, SUPERHEROS…I could go on and on about Robyn and her team!! We hired Ivory & Stone literally one week before the world shut down due to Covid and they stuck with us and were incredible every step of the way. Not only did Robyn have to help us reschedule right when we were getting started but we had already booked almost every vendor with our previous planner that we chose to part ways with, and Robyn stepped in and took control even if she didn’t have a relationship with the vendor. I am a planner and super organized, but you don’t know what you don’t know when it comes to wedding planning and Ivory + Stone’s relationships with vendors is key! When things go wrong and they will, it’s inevitable, you need someone who has those relationships. The vendors won’t respond the same way to you that they will to a planner whose relationship they value. We really needed help creating our vision since I can’t visualize or make a decision, but Robyn figured me out and brought our vision to life. She listens, gets to know her clients, is creative and has fantastic ideas. Robyn was always in communication with us throughout the process and never went MIA no matter how busy she was. Her work ethic is amazing. Robyn and Rhylae went above and beyond for our wedding and we couldn’t thank them enough! They truly cared that my husband and I had the most magical day ever. I don’t think there was a moment all day/night long that one of them didn’t have their eye on us to make sure we were good. It was beautiful and stunning and a month after we are still getting compliments. I would recommend Ivory + Stone to anyone without hesitation. Not only are they great at what they do but they are genuinely good people and more then we could’ve asked for in planner. Some of the best money we spent throughout our entire wedding process!

I honestly do not know what I would have done without Robyn at Ivory + Stone! I got the most affordable package with her before well two reasons 1. paying for the wedding ourselves 2. didn't think I really "needed" a planner... BOY WAS I WRONG! Robyn did things I would have never in a million years thought I would have to do! She has this kind yet "get sh*t done" personality which is exactly what you want out of your planner! She orchestrated all my vendors, made sure everyone knew what was what, and made the process so much more enjoyable! On the day of, Sara and Mary-Grace pulled off all the stops making my day go smoothly, and didn't let me know of any hiccups that were happening behind the scenes!! They pulled my vision together beautifully and I feel so lucky to have found this incredible team to help me plan the most special day of my life! I will love this group forever!

It’s been a month already since my daughter’s wedding we are still on cloud nine. Robyn was the perfect liaison between my daughter on the west coast and us in the east ! Robyn is creative, organized, resourceful and handled all vendors in a professional manner. It is obvious that she is seasoned at dealing with ALL aspects of negotiations with industry folks! Though originally from San Diego, I currently live in Chicago so I knew I was going to need some help planning a wedding in San Diego from afar! We opted for the full planning experience and felt so grateful to have Robyn and Sara on our team. Robyn and Sara have great style, excellent communication skills, amazing connections, and an incredible work ethic. Thank goodness Robyn is also so fun to work with because we got an extra year together due to COVID! After postponing our wedding for over a year, we had to handle some tricky vendor negotiations and ultimately switched venues ~8 weeks before our new date. I was so grateful to have Robyn's expertise and experience in my corner throughout that very unfamiliar process. We literally couldn't have had our wedding without Ivory + Stone - Robyn found our new venue and we had built up such a great level of trust, that we signed the new venue sight unseen. She just has a great way of getting to know your vibes as a couple and is so in control, that there is never a doubt something won't work out. It was so wonderful to work with Robyn, she truly made the process of planning (and re-planning) a wedding during a pandemic so much easier and even enjoyable. 2020 has been rough for many, and there were multiple times we did not think our wedding was going to be possible, but Robyn helped us take things day by day and week by week, and we ended up having the most beautiful and effortless day! Robyn was extremely professional throughout the entire process, but it is also apparent how much she truly cares for her brides. This is a review for all couples, but especially those who are planning a wedding during COVID & who are doing so on a budget. We hired Robyn for a month of planning services in fall 2019, for a September 2020 wedding. I’ve helped friends with weddings, have planned many events, and mostly anticipated Robyn would be a huge help on our actual wedding day, since I didn’t want to be telling people what to do & where to go all day (this aspect of coordination, unsurprisingly, turned out to be even better than anticipated). When it became clear that we needed to make changes due to COVID, Robyn was helpful and supportive. Her help as we began to shift venues, cancel vendors, downsize orders, and uninvited 80% of our guests made me happy we had hired her. 10 DAYS before our wedding, we learned our new venue was not allowing weddings during COVID. I felt paralyzed by the news. Replanning again, 10 days before the wedding, with both my fiancé & I working, and with family already in town solely to celebrate with us felt impossible. I thought the wedding was going to be cancelled. This is where Robyn literally saved our day. I still get weepy thinking about it. Without pause, she helped us find a new location for the wedding. She chatted up her connections, got approval for us to have our ceremony, dinner and desserts, and pictures, as long as we socially distanced and wore masks (which had already been the plan!). She contacted our vendors about the change, altered our wedding timeline, set up a new rehearsal plan, and I’d say the rest is history, except I haven’t even mentioned how she went above and beyond on the actual day. In short: she arranged for our flowers to be brought to her house, and then brought them to the venue herself, saving us delivery costs (& had already got us a great deal on flowers). She brought our ceremony seating vision to life, and made sure households were safely spaced, that chairs had names on them, and directed guests to their assigned seats. Since it was small, she told me who hadn’t arrived yet, and we were able to wait for them. We had an iPhone set up on a tripod to record for those who were missing the ceremony. Robyn recorded the ceremony for us & despite us saying “you only need to hit record” actually panned and filmed me walking down the aisle, then followed us walking back out, and zoomed in on us as we walked farther away. It was still an iPhone video at the end of the day, but we’ve literally gotten compliments from friends and family who couldn’t make it on “the camera person” & will cherish the video forever. After the ceremony, she handled food and dessert deliveries, made sure people got their correct orders, brought my husband & I our food, and kept us hydrated while we took pictures and talked to guests. She cleaned up, helped us load all our things into the car, and we parted ways. My family said many times how incredible she was, and I couldn’t agree more! Beyond happy we hired her. I recommend Robyn to literally anyone, ESPECIALLY during a time when your entire wedding could change overnight, and could do so with only a few days to pivot. I wasn’t daunted by planning a wedding pre-COVID, and I had our whole wedding planned 8 months in advance. But as the changes came quickly, & the closer the date approached, I truly stopped feeling able to handle them. I don’t know what we would have done without Robyn by our side saying “we got this!” TL;DR: HIRE ROBYN. You won’t regret it one bit.

Robyn was an absolute pleasure to work with, and cannot recommend her more highly. We met with a few other wedding planners to begin with (not knowing what we were doing), many of which were too passive or careful about advice they were providing. Robyn provided the perfect mix of advice, guidance and empowerment during the planning process making us feel like we had a real partner in the process, not just a sounding board. I could immediately tell Robyn was organized, professional, and engaged in working with us to produce the best event possible and went the extra mile to ensure all our questions were answered and every detail attended to. Hiring Sara was the absolute best decision I made for my wedding. I hired her as my month-of coordinator and it made ALL the difference! She is an incredible event organizer who made sure everything stayed under control in that month or so before the wedding, plus she graciously filled in all the little gaps that I may have missed. I later heard that there were little snafus that had gone on behind the scenes on my wedding day, but I had no idea they were happening -- everything went perfectly according to plan and Sara only ever had a smiling face and boundless patience whenever I saw her. Overall, I feel that I made a wonderfully kind and fun new friend. Once my wedding was over, I missed talking to her and working through small crises with her!! Sara's the best. Don't make the mistake of throwing a wedding without her!

I stumbled upon R.Nicole events and I am so fortunate! Sara was fantastic. Not only did the team help ME with a vision for the day, they were so pleasant and helpful to the whole family. My mom, mother in law, groom, our respective families, even the lovable but aloof groomsmen had clear direction and lots of support. They even provided ceremony scripts I could use, suggested vendors, and worked well with our, at times, difficult military venue. Our day truly would not have been such a success without R. Nicole Events. Not only that, they handled everything so competently that I was a completely stress free bride who was able to truly enjoy her day. How could I ask for anything more?!

If you're looking for an wedding coordinator, look no further. This will be long review, so if you don't want to read on, just trust me, and go with her. Our first meeting was at our first catering tasting, and I got to watch the magic, which is Robyn enfold. Things that I would have been too afraid to ask for, she just did it. She was the shark (albeit a very friendly one) that I couldn't be in that situation. She also helped us make adjustments that I wouldn't have even known were an option, for instance: "Can you make the meat less smokey? Can you switch out micro greens for avocado? Can you make sure all the tortillas look the same?" Apparently they can, and literally, people haven't stopped raving about the food at the wedding. After that meeting, we booked her for month of planning (about a year out from our wedding), so we met periodically throughout the year to discuss goals/priorities and for her to keep me on track. That's one of the most awesome parts...you literally have her brain to pick from the moment you book her for either full or partial planning. On top of all the phone calls/texts/emails, and our meetings, she went to catering meetings and any vendor meetings I wanted her to be part of. She is super organized and detail oriented, so as the time got closer and I was starting to lose my mind (and wanted to just say screw it all), she was keeping me on track...even if that meant adding on extra meetings to get everything buttoned up. Her vendor relationships are phenomenal and having Robyn in our corner facilitated us getting awesome vendors for our wedding. She has lots of options within different budget ranges and narrowed them down for me based on what I was looking for. I literally loved my entire vendor team. The day of the wedding....she was AMAZING. My husband says she was the perfect mix of getting down to business while simultaneously keeping us laid back & relaxed. She ran a tight ship, and by doing so, helped us facilitate getting the things done that we wanted out of our big day. However, she also recognized the importance of us reveling in it, so she even made sure to remind us to be present, and take some time to just be in the moment...whether it was just the two of us hanging out while people were doing cocktails, making sure we were eating or had drinks, or sneaking us away for a gorgeous sunset and photos. She was exactly what I needed that day. While there apparently were a couple snafus the day before and the day of, I literally didn't even know about them because she handled them like a boss. Our families could not say enough good things about her as well. They were impressed by her poise and professionalism, and her ability to execute an essentially flawless event. Robyn has also hired wonderful women to be part of her team. Sarah and Alyssa are lovely. I can't speak to their planning or organization, but they were there the day before and the day of, making sure everything was going the way it was supposed to, and they were definitely an asset to my wedding. Most of all, I am so grateful to have had Robyn to help guide us through the planning process. Our wedding was a dream, and that was in a large part due to her. The only drawback to the wedding being done, is now I don't get to hang out with her anymore. :) Do yourself a favor and have her plan your event. You will not regret it.

There are no words to describe how my husband and I truly feel about Robyn and Sara. They are the REASON our wedding went as smoothly as it did. It was PERFECTION. They are the BEST coordinators out there and if we could give them a million stars we would! Weddings are stressful as we all know, but Robyn and Sara truly helped us alleviate the stress and took care of us and our well-being during the many months of planning. Robyn and Sara are remarkable human beings and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day literally the best day of our lives!!!

Robyn and Sara are 1,000% the reason why I (aka a type-A bride) could actually be present and enjoy our wedding! From venue meetings and running errands day-of, they handled everything with professionalism and a smile, and made sure we never missed a beat! They even ensured that my crazy husband always had a drink in his hand, which he is still raving about ;) They also do different packages, so if you don't feel you need full coordination, they have options! Long story short? If you are considering hiring a coordinator for your big day, don't overlook these two hard-working gals!

Robyn is an absolute pro! We hired her as our full-time planner and it was 100% the best decision we made. We had a 6 month engagement and can honestly say she made planning stress-free and actually really fun! She's decisive, extremely organized, has a roladex of trusted vendors and a great support team for day-of (Sara was delightful!) , easy to communicate with and just enjoyable to be around. The wedding exceeded our expectations (it was really the BEST day ever) and it was all because Robyn was on it. She made our life easier during those 6 months and my husband I actually now have Robyn withdrawals post-wedding!

My wife and I got married in San Diego last year. We live on the East Coast and knew that a wedding planner (full time) was going to be essential for a destination wedding. We spoke to numerous potential wedding planners on the phone, but after speaking with Robyn the choice was a no-brainer. We were impressed by her professionalism, her knowledge, and her drive to make everything perfect. She's a go getter and her attention to detail is second to none. We made 2 or 3 trips to San Diego in advance of the wedding, and Robyn did an incredible job setting up various appointments for us to try photographer/cake/food/makeup/flowers options (and subsequent appointments at other places for future trips when needed), and she spent the entire weekend with us while we were there. Robyn did a great job keeping everyone on schedule the day of the wedding, and everything was absolutely perfect. Robyn responds to emails/texts extremely fast. She will keep you on budget, and provide you estimates along the way to let you know what everything costs so that you can prioritize what is most important for you. The music/food/etc.. options she presented us were fantastic. Robyn would get more than five stars if that was an option. Robyn, Sara and everyone at R. Nicole Events is top notch and if you have a wedding in the area go with them. The level of attention we received from Robyn and her team was more than we could ever could have imagined or expected, and we consider all of them our friends.

Robyn and Sara are AMAZING!! I initially hired them for month of coordinating but quickly learned I had no idea what I was doing when it came to planning a wedding and ended up hiring them for more. Not only are they very well connected in the industry in San Diego, but they are also genuinely good people. I moved to San Diego a few years ago and had only 10 months to plan my wedding. Planning a wedding in a short amount of time in a new city, with no family or bridesmaids to be there throughout the process was not only stressful but lonely at times. I spent a lot of time with these ladies throughout the process and from our very first meeting, I instantly felt like I was hanging out with my girlfriends from back home. Robyn and Sara are extremely efficient and were also very responsive to the million questions I had. The day of the wedding was very stressful because I remembered little things I forgot to do. I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up at the venue and those little things were taken care of. My wedding was absolutely stunning and these wonderful ladies deserve a lot of the credit for pulling it off. They far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!!!

We hired Robyn as our wedding planner and I can't even explain how happy we were with this decision. She helped us with every single detail and truly cared about making it "our best day ever." She not only did so much work the day of, but in all the months prior, she took care of so, so much! I booked R. Nicole Events "month of" wedding coordination package for my wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club and they were such a pleasure to work with. They were so helpful and had so much insight if I had any questions. I loved that they always gave us the available options for a particular segment of the day, such as "How do you want to be introduced at the reception? Here is option A, B, C..." SO helpful. They guided us in the right direction and gave suggestions to have a smooth, stress-free day. Sarah Shaw was my Day of Coordinator and did an excellent job coordinating all the vendors and executing the details! She set up our personal items such as frames, signage, programs, menus, etc. and kept us running on time. I know some people try to keep it DIY and have a friend or family member do these things but this is honestly the best money spent because you don't have to worry about a thing and all your guests can enjoy the party!

Robyn is a complete Rock Star. She went above and beyond to fulfill her services as a Month of Coordinator for our wedding. Since she is the event manager at our venue, she knows it inside and out and was a great sounding board & source of information. She offered her opinions as well as suggestions on how to make our day perfect. She also wasn’t afraid to be honest when we were off track! She was always available via email or text or phone, and was so easy to work with it was like planning with a friend. We really felt like Robyn wanted the best for us, and she even came up with a brilliant solution to pay full price for vendor meals when we didn’t meet our 100 person minimum with our caterer. It saved us $200+!! And she handled it all so we didn’t have to be the ‘bad guy’! She was so detail oriented, we felt totally confident we could hand over all of our decorations and be hands-off the day of. And our day went completely according to plan. I was warned something would go wrong, but can honestly say, nothing did. It was flawlessly executed!

We hired Robyn as our wedding event planner/coordinator for son’s wedding. Not only is she a pleasure to work with, her efforts were invaluable. Without her help, leading up to the wedding day, and her hard work and excellent organizational skills during the actual event, the wedding would not have been a success. Her confidence and her reassuring nature were vital. Robyn is not only competent and efficient, she is creative and perceptive. She was able to understand the vision that our son and daughter-in-law had in mind, and adapted her style to help their dream come true. She has the important ability to be everywhere at once, but she is not intrusive. She helped to bring a high level of professionalism and elegance to the event. In addition to being competent, efficient, and highly attentive to detail, Robyn is fun to work with. I enjoyed every aspect of our interactions together.

Robyn did a phenomenal job planning and executing our wedding! We didn't have to worry about a thing, and even the things we didn't know we didn't know were covered. Highly recommend!

During the vast majority of our wedding planning, Robyn was our coordinator, referral giver, psychiatrist, and friend. As soon as we chose the Garty Pavilion as our venue, we knew that we also wanted Robyn as our go-to gal. As a couple that wasn't local to San Diego, it was very good to have Robyn there to point us in the right direction. She was very easy to work with, provided great guidance and references, and she was just plain fun to have as our coordinator! With the Garty being a "raw" venue, there was a ton of stuff to do. From the rentals, to the caterer, to the photos, to the flowers, and the live band. She worked with our vision and added her expertise to make our wedding the most wonderful day of our lives. We couldn't have had such a special day without her. Thank you so much Robyn. You're the best :)

Robyn and Sara at R. Nicole Events are the absolute BEST! They are friendly, organized, determined to make your day perfect and always go above and beyond throughout the whole process. I couldn’t have had the wedding of my dreams without their knowledge of the industry, connections with vendors and overall experience, which helped inform me of what works and what doesn’t. At my first meeting with Robyn, she provided a timeline detailing when certain tasks should be started and completed, as well as a preliminary budget based upon our estimated guest count. This proved to be more than helpful and gave me a better idea in pricing/budget as well as all the things I needed to get done and when! Robyn and Sara were was also very helpful when it came to logistics in thinking about the day of. This is an aspect of my big day that I definitely underestimated. Without their experience and expertise, I definitely would’ve made some bad calls, which could of left the day hectic. Each part of the day was thoughtfully planned and executed beautifully thanks to Sara who was there to orchestrate everything on my actual wedding day. I can confidently say that the R. Nicole Events team will exceed your expectations!

I cannot even put into words how great it was to have Robyn as our wedding planner. She went above and beyond to ensure the wedding planning process was as stress free as possible. She will think of all of the little decisions to be made that you would never think of! She made it very easy to follow the timeline provided by her and always made sure we all worked together to stay on track. Anytime we were stuck on a decision she was there to help provide an idea and/or a solution.
