We reached out to J and R Tours only a month before our wedding after finding out last minute that our hotel would not be providing a shuttle for our guests to and from the venue. J and R gave us the most reasonable price and Rayna was an absolute pleasure to work with! She confirmed every detail and ensured it went smoothly. On the night of the wedding, our guests were so happy with the shuttle - they noted how clean it was and how friendly the driver was. They were right on time for all pick-ups as well. Who could ask for anything more?

We used J&R to transport guests roundtrip from Manhattan to Cortlandt Manor the day of my daughter's wedding. Rayna, who was responsible for confirming the logistics of the plan was a pleasure to deal with. The bus company was professional and I appreciated that the driver kept in touch with me prior to the departure from Manhattan. I highly recommend this company.

We used J&R for wedding day. The shuttle was used to transport our family to our wedding venue. The shuttle was clean; on time and driver was courteous and professional. Rayna at J&R offices was very helpful and confirmed everything with us the week of our wedding. We highly recommend them!

J&R provided transportation for many guests to various locations, at various times, all without a hitch. The buses were on time and in impeccable condition, and the drivers were courteous and knowledgeable of local roads. With J&R, we were able to forget about the transportation and focus on the ceremony and reception. And the price was hard to beat. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

The beginning of our day went smoothly, the driver of our 56 passenger shuttle showed up early took us to the venue and then had to make 2 more trips back to the hotel to pick up the groomsmen and then another for the grandparents - he went back to the hotel a final time to get the guest and that all went very well. The same can't be said for the end of the night....we had ordered a second bus for the end of the night so myself and the bridal party could take our time to gather our stuff and clean up a bit before we went back to the hotel (also note we only had the busses until 12:15ish). Well apparently all of our guests filled up both busses and left the venue....AND NEVER RETURNED! Myself, the groom my parents and several of my bridal party (12 altogether) were waiting outside of the venue for an hour. The previous trip guests told us the driver said he was coming back...well he didn't. We ended up taking 4 Uber's back to the hotel after waiting the hour. The busses half assed response to the situation was well the driver said your trip ended at 12:15 and it was getting close to that time and the groom said the trip was done and he didn't have to return to the venue...but the groom wasnt on the bus so I'm not sure how he could have told the driver that. Thank god the rest of the day went smoothly because this totally ruined the end of the night.

We hired J&R for our wedding this past October, 2015. While they were timely in picking up our guests from the hotel and getting them to the venue on time, the pick up from the venue left a lot to be desired. The wedding reception was due to finish at midnight, and the driver, Rafael, showed up at 11:40pm. Despite the fact that it was an extremely rainy evening he chose not to park at the entrance way, but way further down, causing our guests to have to walk to the bus in the rain. When a guest asked him “when are you leaving?” he stated that "his scheduled departure time was12am ( how can that be? if the wedding doesn't end till that time), but that he knows not to leave until all were aboard". He claims the guest then took it upon herself to interpret that the bus was going to leave without everybody, running around saying “the bus was going to leave”, yet at no point did he attempt to to CLARIFY to her that he would not be leaving until everyone had boarded the bus. This caused much confusion and panic in the last 15 minutes of our wedding and disrupted the flow of our last dance. When I contacted the Sales rep Rob DiDonato, he said that he would interview Rafael and get back to me. After doing so, he said he didn't find any fault with the Rafael's communication or response in helping to clarify to the guests that he would not be leaving without them. Overall, the disposition of both the driver and sales rep seemed very lackadaisical, with no real concern for the comfort of the guests or respect for the timeline of the event. Based on this, I wouldn't hire them for another event.

We used J&R Tours to transport our guests to and from the hotel and reception. The driver was so professional and polite, going above and beyond to make sure my husband's Uncle who uses a wheel chair was comfortable and secure on the bus. Great recommendation from our venue!!

We used a 54 passenger bus for the entire day of our wedding. We got married at the hall so we didn't need limos but also didn't want to drive ourselves so we all took the bus at different times. The pick ups were prompt and they even extended the time for us without charging extra. They without a doubt gave us the best price. The bus was nice and comfortable and everybody was happy that they could drink at the wedding without having to worry about driving back. We were very pleased and would use this company again.

We used J&R Tours 54 passenger shuttle to transport our guests from the hotel to our reception site and back. The service was exceptional!! Rob was very professional and easy to work with. He took the stress out of worrying about how to transport our guests. The driver was very professional and pleasure to work with but more importantly he was there at the exact times and places we expected him to be with a smile on his face. He made sure everything ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We highly recommend J&R Tours for your next event!!

The company was very accomodating. I needed an additional mini bus for guest transportation from the hotel to venue and back a week before the wedding and they were more than happy and able to provide this for me.
