J&R Tours provided transportation for our guests from our ceremony to our reception in New York City. They were a great choice! We elected to have two coach buses escort our guests...
to and from and they were on-time and the guests were happy! Kap was great to work with on the backend as well - we are happy to recommend J&R to others looking for wedding transportation in the city!
It is my pleasure to write an excellent review for J&R Tours. They provided transportation for our more than 100 out-of-town guests for both the Welcome Dinner and wedding at Westc...
hester Country Club. Rayna Castro was easy to work with and responsive to any of our requests. The buses were clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the buses ran on time. We would highly recommend J&R for your transportation needs. .
I hired J and R tours for our wedding and they were excellent! I worked with Kap and he quickly provided a quote and contract. The bus driver had a sign for our wedding on the bus....
He picked up our guests at two different hotels and brought them to our venue and at the end of the night, he picked everyone up and brought them back to both hotels. I really appreciate their attention to detail, great prices, and excellent service. I would absolutely hire them again! Thank you for making my wedding day run smoothly and on time.
We used J & R Tours for our wedding transportation in September 2023 and would highly recommend them to other couples or groups. Choosing a transportation vendor was something that...
was very daunting as we've seen so many mixed reviews for transportation vendors in Westchester, and we've had some not so great experiences as wedding guests. We had approximately 100 guests using the transportation from the Sonesta Hotel in Downtown White Plains to our venue 25 minutes away in Larchmont. Therefore, we booked 2 coach buses that ran one after the other, and they were on time, clean and followed exact instructions on where to arrive and where/when to depart. Their pricing was also more reasonable than many other quotes we received. We worked with Rayna who helped us organize the contracts and bus timing, and made everything easy and seamless.
I chartered two of their buses for my wedding guests in July and what I got was reliable service. I worked with Kap in their front office in getting the quote and everything else l...
eading up to the wedding. Definitely a guy you can count on for your busing needs.
I didn't personally ride with them, however my guests said the buses were clean and comfortable. The drivers were punctual and were very professional. Their prices were very expensive, however I did shop around and that just seems to be the going rate for buses for weddings, so can't really dock any stars for charging market rates. I definitely recommend going with J&R. It's key having drivers you can count on for your big day!
We hired J & R tours upon a recommendation, and were unfortunately disappointed. The one issue we had on our wedding day was the transportation. We had pre-arranged for the bus to ...
make two trips to pick up our guests, and the bus driver decided not to make the second trip, leaving many of our guests hunting for alternative transportation from the hotel and arriving during the ceremony. We ended up having to make several calls during the reception to ensure that they would come back to pick up our guests at the end of the night. We would not recommend this company.
Very punctual, no issues. Definitely recommend!
We reached out to J and R Tours only a month before our wedding after finding out last minute that our hotel would not be providing a shuttle for our guests to and from the venue. ...
J and R gave us the most reasonable price and Rayna was an absolute pleasure to work with! She confirmed every detail and ensured it went smoothly. On the night of the wedding, our guests were so happy with the shuttle - they noted how clean it was and how friendly the driver was. They were right on time for all pick-ups as well. Who could ask for anything more?
We used J&R to transport guests roundtrip from Manhattan to Cortlandt Manor the day of my daughter's wedding. Rayna, who was responsible for confirming the logistics of the plan wa...
s a pleasure to deal with. The bus company was professional and I appreciated that the driver kept in touch with me prior to the departure from Manhattan. I highly recommend this company.

ourteous and knowledgeable of local roads. With J&R, we were able to forget about the transportation and focus on the ceremony and reception. And the price was hard to beat. We recommend them wholeheartedly.
The beginning of our day went smoothly, the driver of our 56 passenger shuttle showed up early took us to the venue and then had to make 2 more trips back to the hotel to pick up t...
he groomsmen and then another for the grandparents - he went back to the hotel a final time to get the guest and that all went very well. The same can't be said for the end of the night....we had ordered a second bus for the end of the night so myself and the bridal party could take our time to gather our stuff and clean up a bit before we went back to the hotel (also note we only had the busses until 12:15ish). Well apparently all of our guests filled up both busses and left the venue....AND NEVER RETURNED! Myself, the groom my parents and several of my bridal party (12 altogether) were waiting outside of the venue for an hour. The previous trip guests told us the driver said he was coming back...well he didn't. We ended up taking 4 Uber's back to the hotel after waiting the hour. The busses half assed response to the situation was well the driver said your trip ended at 12:15 and it was getting close to that time and the groom said the trip was done and he didn't have to return to the venue...but the groom wasnt on the bus so I'm not sure how he could have told the driver that. Thank god the rest of the day went smoothly because this totally ruined the end of the night.
We hired J&R for our wedding this past October, 2015.

nue left a lot to be desired. The wedding reception was due to finish at midnight, and the driver, Rafael, showed up at 11:40pm. Despite the fact that it was an extremely rainy evening he chose not to park at the entrance way, but way further down, causing our guests to have to walk to the bus in the rain. When a guest asked him “when are you leaving?” he stated that "his scheduled departure time was12am ( how can that be? if the wedding doesn't end till that time), but that he knows not to leave until all were aboard". He claims the guest then took it upon herself to interpret that the bus was going to leave without everybody, running around saying “the bus was going to leave”, yet at no point did he attempt to to CLARIFY to her that he would not be leaving until everyone had boarded the bus. This caused much confusion and panic in the last 15 minutes of our wedding and disrupted the flow of our last dance.
When I contacted the Sales rep Rob DiDonato, he said that he would interview Rafael and get back to me. After doing so, he said he didn't find any fault with the Rafael's communication or response in helping to clarify to the guests that he would not be leaving without them.
Overall, the disposition of both the driver and sales rep seemed very lackadaisical, with no real concern for the comfort of the guests or respect for the timeline of the event.
Based on this, I wouldn't hire them for another event.

ifferent times. The pick ups were prompt and they even extended the time for us without charging extra. They without a doubt gave us the best price. The bus was nice and comfortable and everybody was happy that they could drink at the wedding without having to worry about driving back. We were very pleased and would use this company again.

rk with. He took the stress out of worrying about how to transport our guests. The driver was very professional and pleasure to work with but more importantly he was there at the exact times and places we expected him to be with a smile on his face. He made sure everything ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We highly recommend J&R Tours for your next event!!
The company was very accomodating. I needed an additional mini bus for guest transportation from the hotel to venue and back a week before the wedding and they were more than happy...
