Jen of JCarson Events is absolutely the best. She is somehow both affordable and priceless. We hired her to provide coordinating services to begin three months prior to our wedding. Even though I am already very organized and on-the-ball, I can still say that hiring Jen was our best move. She was completely worth it and provided us crucial support the entire time, handling the gritty details that I never would have even thought to consider.
In the lead up to the wedding, Jen always remained professional and flexible, sticking to our regular meeting times (and accommodating us when we requested an adjustment), giving us advice where we asked for it, keeping us on (well, ahead of) schedule, anticipating potential issues, and coordinating with vendors (which can be a lot more like herding cats than a person might realize, making us all the more glad we had Jen to do it).
When the big week came, Jen managed our many personal decor items and last-minute changes with ease. She knew exactly what to do at every moment and executed everything perfectly on the big day. She and her assistant, Gabby, put out with ease the metaphorical little fires that would inevitably erupt at any big event. They were both constant sources of positivity that day (and prior to the day). My partner and I were free to simply enjoy our wedding while Jen kept time and made sure things happened when and how they needed to.
I don’t know how Jen does it, but that’s the beauty of using her as your wedding coordinator: you don’t need to worry because you can trust that Jen will crush it.
Our JENeral!!! Jen and her team are incredible. We would have been lost without them! Jen took all of the stress out of wedding planning and made it the most fun and joyful experience <3 truly wonderful working with her. She kept us on track, organized, and also was able to provide very detailed insight and advice. She was so much fun! Outside of her work ethic Jen is also such a wonderful person and we so enjoyed talking to her every month. We’ll miss it!
I can’t put into words the love I have for Jen & her team. Hiring Jen was one of the best decisions I made in wedding planning. She is filled with knowledge, so organized, and does it all with a calming energy. I went into my wedding week/day stress free because I knew Jen had it all handled with my best interest in mind. On wedding day, I was able to be a present bride thanks to her hard work. I miss Jen already and my wedding just ended - that sums it up!
Jen and her team are amazing. My husband, Chris, and I decided to purchase her three month plan--our wedding was 9/10/22 so we began meeting with her in June. But even before June, she was helpful answering questions and kept track of all of my vendor contracts and other info as the months of pre-planning went on. Since we got married in the Catholic Church, she even connected us with someone who assisted us with finding an officiant (who turned out to be amazing).
June through the beginning of September was naturally stressful because I was a very type-A bride, so I wanted every little detail to be perfect. Jen always helped us make decisions that would cause us the least amount of stress and helped us put everything into perspective.
Jen and her team members, Jules and Rich, helped lead a seamless rehearsal the night prior, which really put us at ease for our big day. When Saturday rolled around, they were on it. I didn't worry about anything and they made my dream and vision come to life. Our reception was held at Hunt Valley Country Club and everything looked immaculate and set up just as I wanted it. We enjoyed the whole entire day and felt very present for all of it. Also... we both ate dinner and never went hungry or thirsty. Jen, Jules, and Rich checked on us throughout the evening and ensured that we were happy and that everything went perfectly. I am honestly sad that we can't meet with Jen weekly anymore and will miss planning the most special day of our lives! Thanks to Jen and her team for pulling it off without a hitch!
