edding day. I am not a florist nor do I have expertise in this area. I specifically wanted to capture the outdoor cherry blossoms (I had a March wedding) into my bouquet. First, my bouquet had a long stem sticking out of the middle that I had to cut out. Secondly, I was worried about the integrity of the bouquet holding up so I didn’t pull any more flowers out but some of my flowers were already turing from a dusty pink to a brown. Brown was never in my vision nor discussed. Although J. Morris refunded us the cost of my bridal bouquet, nothing can make up for the disappointment of seeing brown flowers in all of my photos. Do your own research and make sure you dictate exactly what you want!

We’d like to provide some clarification on our process for future couples reading this: At J. Morris Flowers, every client is scheduled for a 60-day Review Meeting, where we offer to see a live sample of their flowers for approval. This gives our clients the opportunity to see their blooms in person, make adjustments, and ensure the design reflects their vision. We always encourage couples to be open and detailed about their preferences so we can make refinements at that stage.
It’s also important to note that because flowers are a natural product, there can be variations in color, texture, and availability. While we do everything possible to source the closest match, there are times when blooms may arrive slightly different from what is expected. Our design team takes every step to uphold the integrity of the design while working within the realities of nature.
We regret that your experience did not reflect the standards we hold ourselves to and will continue refining our communication to ensure every couple feels fully confident in the floral plan before their wedding day.

When we came in and met with them I had an idea of what I wanted but I wasn't really sure how to execute it or put an image to the vision and feeling I wanted. They immediately whipped up a proposal that had everything I wanted on paper, it was like they took the image smack out of my mind. I left my first meeting with them so excited because I finally felt like I could really picture my wedding day. Then when it came to executing the proposal they were flawless and their staff was so kind and thoughtful. They even helped my husband and the groomsmen figure out how to pin their boutonnieres. we loved working with j morris! they spent a good amount of time with us at our first meeting listening to our vision and developing an appropriate proposal for us and adjusted it ...
when i asked for some differences. communication with them was easy. we didnt have a big floral budget but with what we got, they made it look amazing and did everything from setup to takedown. the only slight problem was that there were orange flowers in all of the arrangements which had never been discussed. but everyone who was at the wedding says the pop of orange actually looked very beautiful so i'm keeping them at 5 stars!

We first met them during our 30 day walkthrough at the venue and I was impressed with the fact that they had a list of flowers they were planning to use in our bouquets and decorations to share with us. They also helped talk us through some decor ideas for the venue space, as we were trying to cut back a little bit, since the numbers for the whole event were really adding up. They were able to give us ideas of how to stay within our vision but reduce some of the cost! They even offered to deliver a sample bouquet to my house the following week, and listened to the feedback that I gave when I asked for less pink and red and more yellows, oranges, blues and purples. The ceremony and reception areas looked beautiful day of, and so many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers looked!!

ted to invest in high quality florals without exceeding my budget. Most florists set a minimum spend (which was still pretty high, in my opinion) just to commit to working on your wedding. J. Morris didn't have a minimum spend, and were happy to work within the budget I had in mind. They were also recommended by my wedding planner so I knew I could trust them from the beginning! I worked with Sheila and Janice, who were both amazing! I am a very picky person (to say the least) and they listened to all my ideas and helped curate the perfect florals for my wedding. I appreciated how open they were to continued tweaks throughout the process. They even delivered all the way to DC! Overall, they truly brought my vision to life and the florals turned out better than I ever imagined.

Despite having a late summer/early fall wedding, I really wanted peonies and bright colored florals. J Morris was the only vendor that said they would try to get me peonies (they were technically out of season) and they did -- and they were in immaculate condition. All of my flowers survived the intense 85 degree weather. Awesome service, great flowers!

I had an install and arch and the set up and break down process were flawless. My coordinator even suggested putting flowers in front of the band which I couldn’t find a lot of inspo pictures for and Sheila and Jennifer made it happen. ey were flexible to work with and happy to talk through ideas to stay within budget. The bridal bouquet was a little too big to be able to hold in one hand (I have pretty small hands and couldn't fully wrap one around the stems!) but absolutely stunning.
We ended up having wedding party and parent/grandparent bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres, greenery tied to chairs along the ceremony aisle, and they filled bud vases we provided with small flowers for centerpieces. We dropped off the bud vases at their studio 2 weeks before our wedding and they set everything up beautifully on the day of.

imagine our day without the stunning designs that J. Morris put together! I went into my initial meeting with Sheila with a vague idea of what I wanted (bridal bouquet, something to put on long farm tables) and she helped me put together the most perfect proposal. After a few more months, I realized that I also wanted to include altar arrangements for our church ceremony, and Sheila added it in without hesitation. On the day of, the J. Morris team delivered our flowers to three different locations (hotel for personal items, church for altar arrangements, and restaurant for garlands) and even showed up early! When I finally saw each arrangement, I was stunned - everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined. I cannot thank J. Morris enough for doing such a wonderful job - I would highly recommend for any special occasion.

I couldn't have asked for prettier or fresher flowers for our big day - the mood board and inspiration pictures I showed Myriam literally came true as a reality right before my eyes on the day. It was gorgeous! She also did an amazing job taking care of our rehearsal dinner flowers and was able to seamlessly transport some of the rehearsal dinner flowers to be used at our wedding the next day. She was outstanding. I do wish that there was a bit more of clearer communication - sometimes I had trouble getting things updated in our contract in terms of timing and details, but everything came together beautifully. I also just picked up my shadow box bouquet preservation - if you're thinking about doing this, do it!! It's amazing - Myriam dried a bunch of my flowers, put my Mom's sash that was used on my bouquet with the pins that we used, along with an invitation all in the most beautiful shadow box. r speaking briefly with Heather we knew they were the right choice! We had an hour and a half phone call consultation to go over what we wanted and then a few months before the wedding went to their shop in Leesburg to physically pick everything out. They had so many different options and gave us such great advice. We ended up having two different types of centerpieces because we could decide - one was a simple wood washed box and the other was a wood looking lantern with a ring of BEAUTIFUL flowers around it. We also had two larger centerpieces that were our altar flowers that we resused on two tables. Everyone loved them!
I was a littler nervous about the bouquets as we never saw a "mock-up" of them, but Myriam DID NOT disappoint. I was obsessed with all of the bouquets and had a really hard time throwing mine out after we got back from out honeymoon.
J. Morris was so easy to work with and the flower arrangements (and table accessories) made our dream wedding vision come true!

I found that very frustrating because we had been so clear on what we wanted, and to change things based on the opinion of an ancillary person present who did not have knowledge of our plan was off-putting to me. Some of the process leading up to achieving our vision was difficult, with a lot of back and forth and clarification for information we had already provided and agreed upon. So while the final product was beautiful, the process getting there left me less than satisfied.

e understood our vision and was really helpful answering our questions. Out of 4 different florists, this was the only one to show us actual flowers during our consultation which really surprised me. But that definitely helped influence our decision as we could see the actual product.
Throughout the process Jennifer and Katie helped answer all of our questions and were really good about updating the proposal every time I made a little change. We used their lanterns and arch - both are so beautiful. We also got our flower girl basket through them. We re-used a lot of flowers from the ceremony for the reception since they were on the same property and the team stayed to re-purpose them all. They did such a great job making everything look new and fresh for the reception so no one noticed!
The only complaint I had was minor - sometimes I had a hard time getting a response from Jennifer about certain things she said she would follow up with. Usually it took me a few times reaching out to her to get a response. But I attribute that to her being the owner. This only happened a few months out from the wedding, but the month of she was very responsive so it wasn't a big deal.

We received so many compliments on the stunning arrangements they put together for our ceremony site and our table center pieces. I definitely would highly recommend J.
