J Scott Catering catered our wedding at Radnor Hunt on 10/15/22. The food was just amazing. Everything tasted delicious and our guests were raving about it. Our wedding planner Carly Sheller was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and made sure our special day ran so smoothly!

Excellent catering for our 10/1/22 wedding. Guests raved about the quality of the food (stationed and passed hors d’oeuvres and the seated meals) and the bar offerings. Staff was helpful in setting up our personal details, as well.

My wife and I had the best experience with J. Scott and his team. Lea (wedding coordinator) was ELITE! The venue (Springton Manor Farm) was perfect and all of our expectations were exceeded. Best food I have ever had at any wedding - 5 start. Thank you!

We used J Scott for our June 2021 Wedding at the Phoenixville Foundry. I was the Groom. The Bad: 1) Two of the three entrees (chicken and vegetarian) were very poor, and significantly worse than what we were served at the tasting. The average rating from family/friends that we asked was 4/10. 2) The chicken entrée was a completely different dish from what we selected. We selected "garlic crusted chicken with grilled artichokes in a rosemary jus". At the tasting - it had a phenomenal crispy bread-crumb like crust and was delicious - 9.5/10. At the event, we were served tender, but somewhat soggy sous vide chicken with a weird hot sauce (4/10). Absolutely no garlic crust, artichokes, or rosemary jus in site. We ended up having to apologize to a lot of our guests because we had talked up the chicken dish and told them it was better than the steak. It was embarrassing. 3) We brought these issues to J Scott's attention the day after the wedding. Two weeks later we received a response from management saying that all of the food was perfect and insinuating that we were misremembering what we were served at the tasting. This is classic gaslighting behavior and was really disappointing to see. Especially given how obvious the error in the chicken dish was since it contained almost none of the ingredients in the description (and no crust). The Good: Everything else. The planner (Charlotte), and the cheesesteak truck were especially good. The Verdict: I was fully prepared to give J Scott the benefit of the doubt on the food, given that our Wedding was one of the first weddings post-Covid and I'm sure they had some internal personnel turnover. If the response from management was less ridiculous and insulting I may have still given J Scott 4 stars; however, I can't excuse poor food AND gaslighting - especially given the prices they're charging - 4/10 food just isn't acceptable. And gaslighting is even less acceptable. I wouldn't recommend J Scott to others.

J. Scott Catering was amazing. We used them at Springton Manor Farm (also highly recommend the venue!) and the food was just fantastic. All of our guests raved about it and we loved it too. As the couple, we obviously had a lot to do but at our sweet heart table they setup all the appetizers and stationary food we weren't able to enjoy during cocktail hour for us so we didn't miss out - a huge plus because it was all so delicious. Great wait staff and very professional team members. Couldn't recommend them more. The chicken and waffle hors d'oeuvres were one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life.

We used J. Scott Catering through our venue, Springton Manor Farm (which is incredible, definitely check it out!), and the food was absolutely amazing. We got SO many compliments throughout the night about how good the food tasted. This caterer absolutely nails it with food and presentation of food.

J. Scott Catering was so awesome!!! A truly outstanding and unbelievable experience from food quality, preparation, display, as well as diligent and outstanding adherence to personal protective equipment and procedures making everyone feeling 100% completely safe and very secure amidst this pandemic era. J. Scott and his team catered our wedding reception at our house. Unbelievable antipasti appetizer spread of the finest Italian meats, cheeses, spreads, salads, bacon wrapped scallops, etc. The dinner of filet mignon, mahi mahi, salads, vegetable medley and pasta selections, were beautiful and delicious. My husband and I had very high expectations and we were not disappointed. J. Scott honestly exceeded our standards which rarely occurs. The food was absolutely delicious and the professionalism of the catering staff was everything we hoped it would be. It was worth every penny! We are looking forward to using this caterer again....on our one year anniversary! Thank you so much Scott for your attention to detail and commitment to excellence. You deserve every compliment in this review, you earned it. You made our very special wedding day even more special!

My husband and I got married at Springton Manor Farm on September 19, 2020. Everything was absolutely perfect. Rachel was our coordinator for J. Scott Catering and Springton Manor Farm. Rachel went above and beyond in her planning and communication to make sure our day turned out just as we wanted. Rachel was very organized and supportive in helping to make decisions for our special day. Rachel made the entire process easy for us and set up everything to run smoothly the day of! The food was amazing. Our guests are still raving about how we had the best food by far from any wedding! We are beyond thrilled with J. Scott Catering and highly recommend.

The food was delicious and they worked tirelessly to get our wedding day to us during the pandemic. Rachel is truly wonderful and was so helpful with multiple suggestions to adjust at our venue. It was wonderful and every guest loved their food.

The Radnor Hunts stately reception indoor area and beautiful views sold us as soon as we saw it. We worked with Rachel Brown as our planner at J Scott Catering and she was wonderful, keeping us informed and being flexible given everything going on with COVID. Rachel did everything she could to ensure that our day was as normal and perfect as possible, and it really was wonderful. The staff at J Scott Catering was also great during the reception, our guests had nothing but kind things to say about the food and bar service! I would highly recommend Radnor Hunt and J Scott Catering.

Due to Covid19 we decided for the health & safety of immediate family members to unfortunately postpone our wedding to the following year. Our planner Rachel Brown has always been helpful along the way, but during this difficult decision, she not only listened to our concerns, but worked with us and went above & beyond to help us keep the wedding we worked so hard to plan. Don't even think twice, book J. Scott! Our wedding was planned for next month, and now we've had to move it. J. Scott made the initial planning, and now re planning very easy. They have been so accommodating every step of the way. Every phone call has left me feeling at ease, and I completely trust J. Scott with our wedding. They are very professional, supportive and understanding. We have told them countless times how much their support, flexibility and calm demeanor has helped us with this rather crazy and anxiety provoking situation, and they always respond by asking if there is anything else that they can do for us. My husband and I got married at the Phoenixville Foundry on February 21st and it was truly a dream! Our coordinator, Rachel, was a delight from start to finish, guiding us every step of the way. She told us that on my wedding day that we would enter as guests and leave as guests, and wouldn’t have to worry about anything that day and she was 100% right, that’s exactly how I felt. I had lots of ideas that I wanted to incorporate into the ceremony and reception and Rachel helped me organize and get me prices from her suppliers very quickly. She was incredibly responsive and helped me keep on track during the planning process. But in the weeks leading up to the wedding she sent detailed time lines and floor plans for me to review and modify as I wanted. The venue and the caterer were both very flexible. On the day of, Rachel and her assistant Charlotte were there to make sure everything was set up, that the ceremony and reception ran smoothly, and that my husband and I had everything we needed! The whole experience with J.Scott catering was fabulous. Rachel invited us to an open house a few weeks before our food tasting so we had an opportunity to taste a few more items than we would have at our tasting. The menu of appetizer and entrée choices is quite extensive and it was hard to make our final choices – but everything was fantastic. Our guests particularly raved about the cheese board appetizers. The only small issue was that we only provided champagne for the toasts for our parents tables and the champagne was missing from one of the tables, but I was able to alert a sever and the staff very quickly and discreetly provided champagne to the correct table. I think the thing that speaks the most about our experience with Rachel & J.Scott at the Foundry was my dad, who was skeptical that a day-of coordinator was necessary, said “Thanks goodness for Rachel! We couldn’t have done this without her.” So thank you, Rachel, for making the day perfect for us and for my parents!

My husband and I got married on October 5, 2019 at the Patio at Archmere and we had the most PERFECT day all thanks to the wonderful Rachel Brown and JScott Catering team!! I don’t have enough space in this text box to explain how amazing Rachel was as our wedding coordinator...she was incredibly sweet, organized, and very thoughtful throughout our entire wedding process. Thank you Rachel for all the time you put into making our wedding day a dream! We could not be happier with our experience with JScott. The food was amazing-from the passed appetizers, to the stations, to the main meal...everything was delicious!

J. Scott catered our wedding reception and they were fabulous! But they are so much more than catering. Rachel helped us in planning our entire wedding! She recommended vendors, assisted in making a detailed timeline, set up decorations we had and kept everything on track day off! Her team is very professional and our guests were so impressed by them! She kept us informed at the reception of what was happening next without updating us too much as well. J. Scott and Rachel were a HUGE part in making our wedding day better than our wildest dreams. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

J. Scott did an outstanding job for my daughter's wedding recently at the Foundry in Phoenixville! I can not tell you how many guests commented on how wonderful the food was - from the appetizers, various food stations and the main event. With three Main Course selections, everyone at my table was "sharing" a bite so everyone could experience the deliciousness!

When I imagined the “perfect” wedding day, I couldn’t even imagine it quite as perfect as it really was. Everything was incredible from the start. Planning was easy; Rachel is the best! She took care of things I didn’t even know I needed taken care of! Amazing food, tons of linens to choose from, and so much more. The process was SO much fun. I never felt an ounce of stress. Service the day of was spot on. Every guest I spoke with afterwards told me that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too, and we have some tough critics!! I cannot say enough about this experience. So so amazing! Thank you :)

My husband and I were married at the beautiful Pheonixville Foundry! It was the only venue I wanted and coupled with the professionalism, kindness and flexibility of Megan Freeman and the rest of the J Scott team, my vision for our wedding and reception was brought to life! Service was excellent, with my husband and I having our own personal attendants bringing us fresh drinks and food, making sure we were taken care of all night! The food was delicious and I can say that our family and friends also raved about the quality of the food and the service they had! The Best in the Business! Our family wedding was held at Springton Manor on June 29th and provided a combination of a breathtaking venue and extraordinary caterer, J. Scott Catering. From initial meeting and detailed planning process through the final stressful stages of ensuring every detail was handled effectively, every weather contingency in place and the entire event was a success, this organization is led by an inspiring and energizing entrepreneur who encourages an equally talented team of professionals. These individuals include Rachel, Jessica, and Charlotte backed up by an exceptional group of servers, bartenders, and chefs that will support any event as if it were their own family affair. Easy to work with, flexible, accommodating, remarkable, ideal, outstanding, sincere, knowledgeable, and hard-working are all adjectives you will become familiar with while working with J. Scott Catering. Oh, and the food, one word.....Amazing. From the delicious appetizers to the rich ravioli, tender beef, mouthwatering crabcakes and everything in between, our 200 guests said it en masse- Fantastic event!! Thank you to the entire J. By far the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding. J. Scott Catering was extremely thorough and even provided us with an event planner. Our planners name was Ariane and she blew me away by how organized everything was. Every little detail I mentioned to her she made sure I had everything I wanted and more. She was so pleasant and easy to work with, she felt like family! J. Scott Catering does it right, presentation of food is excellent, quality and taste is amazing, we received so many compliments on the food from our wedding!

J.Scott goes above and beyond to make your wedding dreams come true. There are truly not enough words to explain just how wonderful of an experience working with Rachel and the team at J.Scott was. Her care and compassion towards not only the catering aspect of our day but every little detail beyond that was more than we could have ever hoped for in the planning process. Working with J.Scott gives you the opportunity to completely customize your vision where no request is too large and no detail is left untouched. Our guests still have not stopped raving about how amazing the food and entire display was. Cannot say enough good things about J. Scott Catering. Who knows how the reception would have turned out if it wasn't for Rachel Brown and her team. Rachel was responsive, flexible and most importantly patient. She walked us through the entire reception process and was always available to lend advice when needed. Not having a planner made it a little nerve-wracking but Rachel was all over it for us and in the end, the reception could not have gone more smoothly. The vibe we wanted was elegant and fun but not ostentatious, and Rachel nailed it. We also let her know that we weren't looking for the standard cookie cutter reception menu, so she helped us think outside the box, ultimately landing on a menu our guests are still talking about. There are a lot of moving parts and micromanaging when you're planning a wedding. Working with J. Scott gave us confidence that one of the more stressful parts of the planning process was being taken care at a standard that exceeded our expectations. Having that weight off your shoulders is huge. To sum it up: the people were great, the drinks were always cold and the food was phenomenal.

I got married in June at Radnor Hunt and had a great experience with J. Scott Catering. I worked with Rachel to plan the day, and she was very organized and responsive to my many questions throughout the process. Everything from the tasting, to the pre planning, to the day of went wonderfully. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour apps and dinner selections!

My husband and I had our wedding at Springton Manor Farm on June 15th, and we chose J Scott as our caterer. From the minute we pulled into the driveway at Springton Manor Farm, we were blown away by the grounds. Everywhere you look, the view is spectacular. Given that my husband and I both grew up in Chester County, we also loved how the venue reminded us of home. I always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, and I was sold once Scott showed us the bride’s entrance from the Manor House down to the Linden Tree. We planned our wedding in less than a year, and our team at J Scott made the process smooth, efficient, and fun. They brought our vision to life and accommodated all of our unique requests (e.g., allowing an ice cream truck from my graduate program, providing oranges for our Aperol Spritz signature cocktail). We continue to hear comments and receive messages from our friends and family describing our wedding as “spectacular”, “phenomenal”, and “incredible”. The food was delicious, and service was amazing. The Manor House’s bridal suite was also a convenient and spacious spot for our large bridal party to get ready and relax in prior to the ceremony. Our coordinator, Rachel Brown, was an absolute pleasure to work with the day of and the year leading up to our wedding. She was incredibly responsive, creative, flexible, detail-oriented, and generous with her time. Rachel held our tasting on the day of a snowstorm because my mother-in-law flew in from Wisconsin, made sure any leftover cheesesteaks, donuts, and cake were packaged up for my family, referred us to a new furniture rental company after our initial choice was booked, made sure we were served appetizers and drinks during our cocktail hour so we could mingle with guests and take photos, and single-handedly ran our rehearsal (with a 17 person wedding party) when our Pastor wasn’t able to attend. I will never forget how at the end of the night when we had a stressful situation with our transportation company, and Rachel handled it with such grace and tact…all in the presence of our drunk best man who was eating cheesesteaks and confessing to some “non-truths” in his toast. These are just a few examples of how she and the team at J Scott go above and beyond. Whenever there was a problem during the planning process or the day of, it felt like all we needed to do was tell Rachel and it was solved. We are forever thankful. While I cannot promise all couples the beautiful weather we received on our wedding day (I so wish I could!), I can promise that you will not regret getting married at Springton Manor Farm or choosing J Scott as your caterer.

My daughters wedding was 03/09/2019 at the Phoenixville Foundry. Rachel Brown was our wedding coordinator from J.Scott Catering. Rachel was responsive with every question leading up to the wedding. The food at the wedding was better than at the tasting. The food was good at the tasting but very good at the wedding. We received many compliments on the food, the service and the venue. I was a little nervous the week before the wedding and we had our walk through with Rachel at the venue and I realized that she would take care of everything on the day of the wedding and she managed the day beautifully. I highly recommend J. Scott, the Phoenixville Foundry and especially Rachel Brown for any event.

I got married at The Radnor Hunt on May 25, 2019 and we used J.Scott Catering as they work exclusively with The Radnor Hunt. My apologies because this is going to be a long review. I worked with Megan Freeman of J.Scott Catering and she was amazing. She was very responsive and easy to work with. She helped me with all of the million questions I had and was always patient and accommodating with me. I had delivered a truck load of decorations on our rehearsal day and left explicit instructions on how everything should be displayed and her and her team did a wonderful job executing those. The venue looked absolutely immaculate and beautiful the day of my wedding. She ran the ceremony very smoothly and the entire day went down without a single hitch. If I had to find one single thing to complain about, I couldn't. Now, the food! The food was amazing! All of it! We had 6 butlered hors d'oeuvres and a macaroni and cheese station. We served the pan seared crab cake and the filet as our meal options and the butternut squash risotto as the vegetarian option. I didn't even get a chance to say hello to some of my guests because I was so focused on the opportunity to eat the food, and it did NOT disappoint. Our guests have not stopped buzzing about the food, more specifically the macaroni and cheese station and the mini California burgers. I have had guests tell me the crab cakes were unreal and the steak was amazing. She even worked with us on the steak because J.Scott traditional serves their steak rare and we had requested it be prepared medium, and it was prepared perfectly medium and every guest was thrilled with it. We also offered 2 different signature drinks, which everyone is also buzzing about. Several guests have told me it was either the nicest, the most fun, or just plain "the best" wedding they had ever been to. Our videographer told us our wedding was their favorite that they have been to this year. All of that is because of Megan, her team, and J.Scott Catering in general. I would recommend them to anyone. If I was given the choice to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing, and I would choose J.Scott over and over again. Thank you J.Scott!

I worked with Rachel Brown leading up to the wedding. She was great to work with and helped me navigate everything with ease. Then closer to the wedding and day of I worked with Charlotte. The team nailed it. Rachel did the legwork and Charlotte finished it. She was on top of everything and SO calm. Her presence was so calming and she was so attentive. We were so pleased with her professionalism and how she made everything go so smoothly. The food was delicious. Our meals were hot and the steak was cooked perfectly. It was actually a huge cut of meat and of course I barely ate half of it. So Charlotte had it packaged up to go without me asking. They also brought us out two trays of hor d’ourves to try since we missed cocktail hour doing pictures. They made sure we got to try everything. They also set up all of the centerpieces perfectly and listened to every request we had. It was truly the best day of our lives and that was due to Charlottes and the teams execution of the day making it so we just had to show up and enjoy our day because they really did take care of everything else. The food was delicious, the service was great and we HIGHLY recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

I just got married on 4/26/2019 at Radnor Hunt in Malvern and J. Scott was my caterer. Let me first start by saying, they were super flexible and accommodating in the requests that I had and Megan Freeman who was our main planner was sharp, professional, and easy to work with. She has a ‘get it done’ attitude which was a relieve considering how much planning I was doing on my own! The day of the wedding, the team they brought was excellent. Everything we had specified was executed without flaw. My husband and I had our own personal attendant serving us appetizers and drinks so we could easily mingle with guests and get fed ourselves! The food was fantastic! After, we informally poled our friends and family and the feedback was that people though the food was excellent and loved attending a wedding where there was great food, drinks and music! I would highly recommend J. Scott for their level of professionalism, flexibility, organization, and most of all – good food and friendly / quality staff!

There are not enough wonderful things to say about J. Scott and their team. The minute I met Ariane at the Foundry I knew it was the right fit... it was so perfect that it was the one and only venue that we looked at and booked on the spot. While the Foundry speaks for itself (the chandeliers, the bridge, the huge space) the team that we had leading up to and on the day of the wedding are what made the day perfect. Our coordinator Rachel handled everything with such efficiency and ease. She is the perfect mix of organized, assertive, sweet and open minded. My husband and I really wanted a "party" feel and decided to do food stations rather than a formal sit down so people could eat, dance and drink as they pleased. I had never been to a wedding with that kind of setup but Rachel assured me that my vision would come to life and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, there was never a wait for a drink and the servers were constantly making sure that my guests were happy. I can't tell you how many compliments we received regarding the beautiful venue and outstanding team. We could not be more pleased with our wedding day!!

I picked this caterer because of the planner that came with it. After being passed to 3 different planners we finally got our vision on track. Disputed things not being 100% perfect the day came together flawlessly and I was the only one who knew. All the guest raves about the food and had a great time. We hauled in a ton of diy decor and i didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Wow. Just wow. Ariana and everyone at J Scott were such a blessing to work with! From the very beginning stages to the end of the wedding, our day was all about us and our guests. From the individualized tasting session to the final walk thru of the venue, Ariana and Tessa really let us take the reigns with what we wanted and gave us different ideas to enhance our experience. We added on the cheesesteak grill at the end of the night two weeks before the wedding and it was the best decision! Our guests are still raving about it :)

I want to express how delighted we were with how everything was handled by J. Scott Catering for our daughter’s wedding last week. We have been told by countless friends and relatives that it was absolutely the most magnificent affair that they had ever attended and we of course agree. Rachel was fantastic, she fielded every question and concern with absolute compassion and didn’t question the reasoning behind any special request she simply made it happen. From our first meeting with Scott to the loading of the truck at the end of the evening everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and proficiency. J. Scott Catering has exceeded our every expectation with regard to the planning the cost and the quality. The meal was exquisite, equivalent to something that you would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant, and the service was second to none. Needless to say we couldn’t be happier and when daughter #2 becomes the Bride to be we will be call J. Scott Catering and no-one else.

J Scott was nothing short of amazing from the first meeting until the last minute of the wedding. Megan, Jessica, and Talia were always so helpful. Whenever we had any questions (and there were many!) they were always available to answer and offer good ideas and new perspectives. The food was incredible, and everyone at J Scott made sure every detail was ironed out leading up to the wedding, and made sure the wddding day ran smoothly and beautifully. We never would have been able to do it without their help. Thanks to everyone at J Scott, my wedding was a day we will treasure forever with the best memories. Thank you guys for all that you did!!

We used J Scott for our wedding at Radnor Hunt last weekend! The team including Megan and Talia made sure everything was exactly what we wanted! The food was WONDERFUL and the service during dinner/cocktail hour exceeded our expectations! They made the venue look stunning and our guests had nothing but compliments. I would highly recommend J Scott. They were reasonably priced and well worth every penny. We are so greatful for this team!

Wow what a wonderful experience working with J. Scott Catering! From the very beginning stages up until the final moments of our August wedding, their lovely and attentive staff were so helpful and great to work with. Their food is delicious - so fresh and high quality! We really can't recommend J. Scott any higher!

My husband and I are still on Cloud 9 after our daughter and new son-in-law's Wedding Day on June 30th, 2018. We used J. Scott Catering at an elegant Barn Venue that Ashley and Clayton chose for their reception. We were a little nervous in trying to plan an event with an original guest list of 225 people, choosing a venue that needed some decorating and having to bring in our own alcohol. Scott Walsh and Rachel Brown, our coordinator made us feel very relaxed, confident and comfortable with all decisions needed to be made during the planning process. Rachel was AWESOME! Scott was GREAT! They met with us in person, over the phone or through email as often as we needed their advice or reassurance. They were approachable the entire 18 months that we worked with them. Rachel even met us at the Barn which is located out in Lancaster, PA when it was time for our final walk through. That meeting lasted nearly 2 hours! It was at that moment that I felt like she was treating us like family! Rachel worked closely with all of our vendors to make sure that everything was set up as Ashley and Clayton wished it to be. Also, she texted Ashley a couple hours before our cocktail hour to let her know how beautiful the Barn looked and to reassure her that J. Scott Catering was ready and waiting for our event to begin. Scott and Rachel greeted us with a warm welcome the moment we arrived. They made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. They made us feel like Royals:)! The staff was very friendly, helpful and worked hard on a 97 degree day! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The cocktail hour was fun! The Cheesesteak Grill at the end of the evening was a great surprise for all of our guests. In addition to all of that, Rachel and the staff helped organized a cookie bar that Ashley planned. We had about 20 guests or more bring cookies and Rachel made sure they were placed on trays and displayed for guests to enjoy. We are so grateful that J. Scott catering made our event a memorable one for all who attended. We appreciate everything you did for us! Thank you!

Tessa (and Ariane) of J. Scott were truly the glue that held our wedding together. They offered not only delicious, customizable food, but oversaw so many day-of details that helped our wedding day go as smoothly as possible, even with torrential rain in the forecast. Tessa helped get all of our wedding plans ironed out a week in advance so our wedding week was ours to enjoy. Our guests (both vegetarian and non) raved about the food, and we felt attended to all night, with a plate of extra appetizers or a drink never far from our reach. Moreover, J. Scott was respectful of our budget throughout and helped us to understand and anticipate costs throughout the planning process.

J Scott handled the catering for my daughter’s wedding on 11/24/17 at the Phoenixville Foundry. The most important detail of the reception for my daughter was the food and J Scott did not disappoint! Alicia worked very closely with us through multiple iterations of a customized menu which needed to accommodate several vegan and gluten free guests. She was available for countless meetings and was full of helpful suggestions. When she left for maternity leave, Jessica stepped right in and we did not miss a beat. And we were lucky enough to have BOTH ladies present at the reception! The food was executed flawlessly, including a custom-made signature drink involving fresh herbs and brewed tea. We heard nothing but compliments on the food from our guests. They were so impressed with the complexity of the menu and how well it was executed. Not to be overlooked was the OUTSTANDING service of the waitstaff and bar tenders. Everyone was professional and unobtrusive. It was perfect. I would absolutely recommend J Scott!!

Working with J.Scott Catering and their team was an absolute dream from start to finish. We had our wedding a few weeks ago in October at Springton Manor Farm and we could not be more thrilled with the experience. We worked with Rachel Brown at J.Scott Catering for the year long planning process and she was such a phenomenal resource and really helped to make our wedding so seamless. Rachel was super organized and I always felt like we were in such good hands, whether she was giving me advice on vendors in the area or helping us finalize linen colors. In addition to making sure we were on top of all the details, she also made the experience fun! She was very gracious and friendly with my family and made us feel so comfortable from the start. On the wedding day, I think just about every member of my family gushed to her about how grateful we were for all her hard work and how well it paid off! I’m the first of my siblings to get married and my family and I felt a little overwhelmed by all the wedding planning at first, but once we began working with Rachel and the J.Scott crew it really eliminated all of our fears. Besides the fantastic staff, the food from J.Scott Catering was the best wedding food I’ve ever tasted. The menus are fresh, unique and delicious and I’m still hearing compliments from guests. In addition, I found the cost to be very reasonable especially when compared to other venues in the southeastern PA area. I feel like we really got a lot for our money in terms of the quality of food, the professional servers and bartenders and J.Scott’s willingness to accommodate all of our specific needs. I am so thankful to J.Scott Catering, Springton Manor Farm and especially Rachel for helping us craft a beautiful, rustic and romantic wedding day that really represented who we are as a couple.

We cannot say enough amazing things about this company!!! They made our day better then we ever could have imagined! Amy the wedding planner is perfection and seamlessly made our wedding day perfect! J. Scott Catering did a wonderful job for my daughter's wedding. They were extremely accommodating to any request that was made. We had several people that were vegetarians, including the bride, guests that were gluten free and guests that were dairy free. J. Scott even prepared a special meal for a guest that was gluten free, dairy free and did not eat meat. The food was delicious and I am still receiving compliments on all aspects of the meal. Everything is fresh and they make everything that is served. During our tasting, I commented on how delicious the caesar dressing was on the salad and asked where they got it from. The dressing , of course, was made by J Scott. Alicia, the wedding planner and coordinator for J Scott, was excellent and very accessible. She dealt with all of our requests and helped us in many ways. The ceremony site and the reception site was set up just as we requested. This caterer is an excellent choice for any event that you want to hold!!

Our venue, The Radnor Hunt, exclusively uses J. Scott for its catering of special events. This was actually fantastic because we had one less decision to make for our wedding, and I knew that J. Scott was known for its quality catering. Working with Alicia C. throughout the process was wonderful. She was extremely responsive and went back and forth with me on several menu decisions without any sense of annoyance! She even helped us problem solve our appetizer course. The tasting experience made us feel special and like they were focused on making sure our day was perfect. They incorporated our feedback into their day-of details. Additionally, Alicia willingly let us come back later and change our linen decisions after we'd already spent a lot of time reviewing that detail. Day of, everything looked beautiful and even better the food tasted delicious! Our guests were very pleased with the choices we had made and you could tell there was a steady stream of appetizers during cocktail hour. Alicia was very attentive to our needs on the day of and even made sure we were given one last cocktail when the bar closed since we were on the dance floor! J.Scott and Alicia were very accommodating to our schedule since we were planning our wedding out of town, and they made it really easy to work with them. I would recommend them again to those using the venue or considering an event on the Main Line.

We were thrilled with the service and quality provided by J Scott for our wedding at the Phoenixville Foundry. Rachel was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely spectacular in handling all the little details that go into planning the perfect party. Rachel made it easy to keep us organized. As the day approached, not only was she available via email, phone, or text, but she provided spreadsheets and a list of dates for us to maintain. On the actual day, Rachel and the staff made us feel like royalty, never coming off as intrusive, but always making sure the bride, groom, and guests had everything they wanted. J Scott is one of the exclusive caterers of the Foundry, so they have experience dealing with the in's and out's of the venue, hitting on all the small details to make our day perfect. We were somewhat particular in what we wanted and J Scott not only listened, but delivered. We requested extra large shrimp, and we had at least 30 guests tell us that they were the biggest shrimp they had ever seen. Our guests raved about the quality and amount of food provided. The food was served promptly, in unison, and hot. Each of our tables were served by 5 servers who placed the plates down in unison - all tables members were served at the exact same time. Quality caterer that made our day that much better...Highly Recommend!

Our experience with J Scott Catering was exceptional. They helped make my daughters special wedding day in and reception in November a classy and comfortable event for 183 guests. What impressed us most was the quality of food , service and attention to detail. The flexibility and advice that Scott and Rachel gave us during the planning process was also greatly appreciated. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have met them through The Foundry in Phoenixville. They are the best!

We used J. Scott for our wedding in October at Radnor Hunt, and we were very happy with everything. Our coordinator, Alicia, was great to work with and very flexible and accommodating. J. Scott provided us with an exquisite menu for our big day. Everything from the appetizers to the soup to the main courses was delicious. I can honestly say it was some of the best wedding food I have ever had. Everything was prepared fresh and was so delicious! There was not a bite of food left anywhere in our venue at the end of the night, everyone loved their dinner! The staff working with J.Scott was also amazing. Our coordinator Alicia went above and beyond while we made choices on food, linens and serving ware, and make the whole process very simple and straightforward for us. The whole staff was so responsive to emails, texts and calls, and I could not have asked for a better staff!

We worked with J. Scott Catering for our wedding on Oct 29 2016 at Springton Manor Farm, and the food / service blew us away. We knew we were in good hands during our tasting session -- everything was extremely professional, seasonal delicious. Not only that, but the creative and versatile menu choices let us express our personality with quirky options like mini chicken 'n' waffles, Brussels sprouts, beet chips, and a few Asian flavors as well. On the day of the wedding, the food exceeded expectations -- which were set quite high after the great tasting!

They account for every detail, are incredibly open and attentive to your details (even the smallest requests) and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy. We had a wedding with 250 people, and everything went as planned - from the tasty appetizers, to the mouth watering dinner...the food and service was over the top! We definitely recommend choosing J. Scott for your next event - especially if it's an important one!

I can't even imagine how my daughter's wedding could have been more perfect. My daughter and son-in-law live overseas so much of the planning was done with Alicia via email. So many perfectly executed details and such a beautiful venue. Our guests absolutely raved about the food. With most caterers, I would be a little hesitant to order filet mignon for a large number of people. But after our tasting we were absolutely confident that J.Scott Catering could pull it off...and they did. The other entrees were equally delicious. The venue itself is beautiful and tranquil. We were so lucky to enjoy a wonderful fall day filled with lovely foliage, goats and sheep watching us from the pasture below, lawn games after the wedding and fire pits to cap off a terrific day and evening. I would absolutely recommend Springton Manor for anyone looking for an outdoor venue. They have a great back-up plan in case of inclement weather, so there was no hesitation on our part for booking late in October. Great venue, staff and service!

There aren't enough nice things to say about J. Scott. We got married at Springton Manor Farm, which might be the most beautiful place I have ever seen. If you are going for a barn/outdoor wedding theme, this is the only place you should look. The manor house itself is exactly how it would have looked 100 plus years ago. There are still pictures hanging on the mantels, the carpet is vintage, the bridal suite has a claw foot tub and beautiful victorian furniture. The tent is HUGE and gorgeous. It comfortably fit a massive dance floor, 10 piece band and 130 guests. While sticker shock was something we definitely experienced with this venue, especially with the market lights, it was well worth it (get the lights, they are incredible). The food was delicious and there was TONS of options to choose from when we did our tasting. Finally, our planner Rachel Brown was amazing. She was tentative, patient and answered all of our questions so quickly and thoroughly. She listened to all of my crazy DIY projects and created the most beautiful atmosphere for us. I would definitely recommend working with J. Scott.

My fiancé and I were compelled to write a review not only for J. Scott Catering but for Spencer, our event planner. When we first saw Springton Manor we absolutely fell in love with the venue, so much so that we booked the next day! What J. Scott has to offer at that location (and others in Greater Philadelphia) is second to none. The package they offered us came very organized and laid out extremely well, giving you the option to pick and choose any additional features that allow them to make your day extra special. We were most excited for the fire pits as we planned on having an October Wedding. Unfortunately, a very peculiar circumstance arose a few weeks after we booked our Wedding with J. Scott, one which involved us having to change our date and venue. As soon as we found out about this situation we immediately called Spencer. Spencer went into action helping us anyway he possibly could. In the end we had to let them know we could not use their services any longer, which was a big letdown for us. In this instance any other company likely would have taken advantage of the circumstances without blinking an eye. Scott and Spencer contacted us right away and gave us our deposit back. We were so grateful to them for understanding our unique scenario. They truly are in this business for all the right reasons. In this day and age that is almost unheard of to receive such great customer service. Although my fiancé and I will not be using J. Scott Catering or Spencer (the best event planner there is), I would highly recommend using their services. They are nothing but true professionals and an absolute delight to work with. We hope to work with them in another capacity in the future.

My husband and I used J. Scott Catering for our wedding a few weeks ago. I gave them 5 stars even though they deserve 10. The food for 200 people was absolutely amazing. They took the theme I wanted and perfected it. They were able to make my Pig Roast themed wedding into a upscale feast for our guests. Rachel Brown was absolutely amazing. She handled every little detail and made my husband and I feel extremely confident that our wedding would go over without any issues, which it did. She even played the music for us for our ceremony to help us save some money with the band! The table set ups were beautiful and they had so many options to choose from. They allowed me to have a smores bar near 3 fire pits that were attended throughout the night to make sure the fire kept! We had lawn games for my guests to play at cocktail hour and all of the servers and bar tenders were wonderful. Every time my husband and I snuck away for a minute one of the staff would get us a drink or food or a chair to sit on. If you want your wedding to magical and a great memory, do yourself a favor and choose J Scott. They worked with us on budget, presentation, and our own personal touches. I absolutely loved working with them.

I cannot lavish enough praise on J. Scott Catering. From the very beginning, the service we received from them was unparalleled. From the tour of the venue (Radnor Hunt) to the tasting and planning meeting and finally through the day of the wedding, they made us feel so special and taken care of. Not only is their food delicious (just ask any of our guests), but their aesthetic presentation is breathtaking and elegant. They were so accommodating and supportive throughout the planning process. They truly listened to us and what we envisioned our wedding would be and they made it happen. Rachel, in particular, was amazing. She was with us the day of the wedding, and quite frankly, we don't know what we'd do without her. Even our guests noticed how helpful she was. Her positive attitude and willingness to help in any way she could made our day perfect. She is an asset to an already incredible company. We highly recommend J. Amy and the staff of J.Scott Catering were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding day at the Phoenixville Foundry. From the start it was obvious that Amy wanted to be a part of our day and made every effort to work with our budget and expectations. She was thorough, extremely friendly, and kept everything on task. The food was phenomenal at both the tasting and event itself. It's definitely a worry that when you do the tasting, scaling the food up won't result in the same delicious experience. That was not the case at all. The food at our reception tasted even better than I remembered, and I made sure to eat all of it!!! The servers and bartenders were so friendly and kept telling me and my new husband throughout the night how much they were enjoying working our event. My husband and I had the best night of our lives at our wedding that was catered by J Scott Catering. We worked with Rachel throughout the duration of the wedding planning and she did an excellent job during the whole process! The food was delicious and the service was very personable. My husband has a deep love for sweet potato fries and they were able to make the exact recipe that we love. It was a great addition to our already great menu. They also have really cool napkin folds! Be sure to go with these guys!

We haven’t stopped getting texts, emails, and phone calls from our guests of the highest compliment about the food and service they enjoyed throughout the reception. We’re really happy with the service we received from J. Scott Catering for our wedding at Springton Manor Farm. Scott’s enthusiasm and genuine interest in our event when we met with him during our venue search was one of our motivations to get married at Springton Manor. Throughout our wedding planning process, Scott, Amy, and the rest of the team were responsive and accommodating -- they were unfazed when we asked if we could bring six guests to our menu tasting, and gave us all a great experience that day that we’ll remember forever! We were well taken care of throughout the evening of the wedding, with a staff member always on hand to keep our drinks full and make sure that we’d gotten a chance to taste all of our hor d'oeuvres. What a great time we had at our April 23rd wedding reception!! Everything went smoothly at Springton Manor thanks to Alicia’s attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism. From the day we started working with Alicia, she always had time for questions and recommendations … something we really valued. With Alicia’s team’s help, all of our ideas and plans were executed to perfection. We received many compliments about the food, especially the appetizers (loved the Reuben, Fish and Chips, Chicken and Waffle, and the Mac & Cheese station). The staff was great .. the servers and bartenders were very attentive. At the end of the night, everything was packed and ready to go. This was so appreciated. We were happy with our decisions to extend the reception to keep the fun going and to go with J Scott’s recommendation to not have the wooden dance floor (the cement pad looked great). J Scott could be clearer about what is included with the venue and the catering. However, J Scott resolved a minor issue in a professional manner. A beautiful venue with an exceptional caterer!

J. Scott catered my wedding this summer at Radnor Hunt. The food was amazing. Once we had the tasting, my whole family was divided on which dish was the best. Everything was delicious and our guest appreciated it! All of the guests gave me compliments on the food, and the vegetarians were especially thankful saying it was the best vegetarian entree they had ever had. We worked with Amy, who was amazing! I was planning my PA wedding from North Carolina, and the J. Scott team made things so easy for me. Any time I had questions, they were there to answer and find solutions if I needed them!

Alicia and the staff at Queen of Hearts made our wedding perfect. We got married November 7, 2015 and the day went seamlessly thanks to Alicia's attention to detail and professionalism. She was so supportive throughout the entire process and always had helpful suggestions on how to make our ideas come to life with a huge smile on her face. The food was delicious and I can't tell you how many of our guests came up and raved about the food, service, and execution by the Queen of Hearts staff. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice to go with Queen of Hearts for our special day!

Married on October 10, we could not be happier with the service provided by Queen of Hearts. Scott and his staff went out of their way to make sure that our day was perfect and unforgettable. The food served at the wedding was beautiful and even more importantly - delicious! We were able to customize our menu according to what we wanted most. Our guests had nothing but compliments for our food and all reported that the food was served piping hot. The bartenders and wait staff went beyond expectations in providing what felt like VIP service for everybody in attendance. Queen of Hearts truly made our day the happiest day of our lives. Wait staff was very attentive and made sure that my wife and I were very comfortable and that our guests were served promptly and with kindness. Bartenders were personable, quick, and willing to go out of their way for us. We had a cigar bar, and the bartender (Vince) cut the cigars and lit cigars for our guests. We did not request this service - they did this on their own! We are still hearing about how awesome the cigar bar service was! While we didn't get a chance to sample all of the food at our wedding (like most brides and grooms), we particularly enjoyed the beef Gorgonzola, Crabcakes, and Cheesesteak Cigars were our favorites. Guests also had complements on the chicken skewers. On our menu, we had short rib, beef medallions, vegetable cannelloni, and stuffed chicken. No complaints! We both got the short rib and it was so tender, you could cut it with a spoon. Since we had a fall wedding, the menu was tailored to the season with sweet potato puree and asparagus. The sweet potato puree was one of our favorite things on the plate! We are still hearing about the food. In terms of overall service to us as clients, Scott did everything in his power to make sure that we were happy. Whether it was adding an additional item to the menu, making some last minute changes, or the continuous questions that come from the bride, groom, and the family - Scott was willing to find us an answer and accommodate us. Our wedding was at the Phoenixville Foundry, which requires us to provide our own booze. We decided that two of the beers provided would be homebrewed by me. Scott was more than supportive with this and did a great job educating his staff with what was expected in terms of service. The Queen of Hearts Staff was also very experienced in coordinating services with the Foundry to ensure that everything went off "without a hitch." As you begin to plan your wedding, we highly recommend Queen of Hearts to provide your catering services. You will feel like VIPs from the beginning of the planning process to the end of your special day. Five stars!

Queen of Hearts did a really wonderful job catering my wedding. Megan was a pleasure to work with and very detailed oriented. She was great about working with our budget and coming up with a menu that was creative, interesting and affordable (and most importantly, delicious!). We were fortunate to use J.Scott for our wedding this past weekend. To say it was amazing was an understatement! From beginning to end, the service was professional and fun. We were able to sample the entire meal and FULL samples. We ate like kings at our tasting. Danielle made it easy and fun for us during the entire process. She helped with the biggest details down to the ones we would have forgotten. Coming from a background in event planning myself, she definitely exceeded my expectations and let me enjoy the process. The wedding was incredible. The food was RAVED about all night by our guests. They also set up our entire venue and made our vision come to life. Queen of Hearts was amazing! They were incredibly professional, accommodating and Megan made us feel like we were the number one priority. We got rave reviews about the food and the service staff was phenomenal. On the day of, the coordinator was on top of every detail and I got to truly enjoy my wedding day because I did not have to worry about a single detail.
