Princess and the Jack Stack staff went above and beyond for our event. We wanted to keep our guests as safe as possible due to COVID, and Princess and staff made it happen. Jack Stack is a big part of our wedding reception and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

e that I was told that (our original coordinator no longer works there) the “administration fee” was for tip and gratuity. But our new coordinator said the “administration fee” was for gas, water and electricity. Gas, water and electricity? I’ve never heard of that. She said that it doesn’t include the tip. The administration fee was 18%. She said that that the Martin City Venue was the only facility that the administration fee didn’t include the tip. Once again this only applies to the Martin City Venue - not the restaurant. Can anyone else confirm this - other than their employees? Thanks in advance.

until we had the perfect menu, they went over all plating details with us at the tasting so we knew exactly what it would look like, and they even worked with our religious needs for the halal meat. They knew exactly what they were doing so that on the day of every single thing went perfect, while we got ready I did not have to help them at all. We got ready and by the time we were done everything looked amazing! Jack Stack is so fun to have at your wedding because it is different than every other wedding and who doesn't want Kansas City barbecue! I also highly recommend doing the plating family style, it was so fun for guests.

Surprisingly (at least to me with it being a BBQ restaurant) they offer some great vegetarian options as well. There is also ample onsite parking. On the day of our event, staff and bartenders were wonderful and accommodating. We were really happy to offer our out of town guests some of KC’s best BBQ, and everyone kept raving about the cheesy corn! I would highly recommend hosting your event here.
