We had an elopement reception here on April 12, 2025 with around 60 people on the outdoor patio. I contacted Alexandra, the event coordinator, a month before to plan it. They were able to accommodate us and it went great! They set up an open bar and passed hors d’oeurves for a super reasonable price. All our guests had a great time and it was everything we wanted! I highly recommend!

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding in the private room in Jackie American Bistro in April 2024. Despite the change in sales manager from the time we booked to the time of our event, the staff at Jackie were very professional and communicative and worked with us to customize a meal and drink package that fit our wants, needs, and price point. The private room is beautiful and the perfect space for a rehearsal dinner or other private event. We had a designated server for our event and drinks were a bit slow to come out but the service was otherwise excellent. The sales manager who I was in contact with about the event came to check in on us multiple times throughout the event which I appreciated. The food, drinks, and dessert were absolutely delicious and everyone had a great time! We'll be back again for a meal next time we're in the Navy Yard area!

We did not feel that Jackie’s cared about making our wedding day special and do not recommend this space to anyone. Initially, we were excited to have our wedding at Jackie's. We met with their events manager, Brittany. Brittany sent us an agreement specifying details, we signed the agreement, we put down a deposit, and promptly sent out wedding invitations to our guests far and wide. Our guests booked rooms in a nearby hotel. All was in order. Three weeks before our wedding, at the menu tasting, Jackie’s manager, Rana, told us that we had to increase our minimum Food and Drink, and implied that Brittany had lost her job because the contracts Brittany was creating were too low, even though our contract was already signed by all parties. A day later Rana sent us a new contract. This new contract added over a dozen new clauses, terms, and fees, including higher F&D minimums, new setup fees, an 'Audiovisual technician' fee of nearly 1k for the DJ to plug into an electrical outlet, and additional vague and subjective terms about possible increases in day-of-event costs. In addition to the contract, the wedding day details we had discussed previously during a walk-through were null/void.  For instance, we were told that we could rearrange chairs and tables for our wedding ceremony. Now, we were told that guests should only sit at bistro tables and stand in the back during our vows. When we pushed back, Jackie’s said there would be an additional $2500 fee to rearrange the tables — even if we did it ourselves. In total, Jackie’s demanded an extra $10k in minimums for their bottom line, beyond what was already agreed in writing. We were told that all our previous agreements, even the ones in writing, could not be honored, with less than 3 weeks to go. So, we decided to find another venue. Jackie’s seemed not to care about acting in good faith, and didn’t seem to care about our wedding day. Luckily, we found another venue nearby that was flexible and accommodating. Our experience with Jackie's, however, was anything but.

Could not say enough wonderful things about hosting our 100-person wedding at Jackie! We held our ceremony on the patio in late October, followed by a buffet dinner and dancing inside (full restaurant buyout). The staff is PHENOMENAL and Chef Mark and his team made delicious food (our guests raved about the food, and as frequent wedding guests we know the food isn’t always a highlight). Bar Manager Andrew and his team were exceptional helping us design signature cocktails and keeping drinks coming quickly with a busy crowd, and the whole Dacha team made our day an absolute dream. The only negative with the space is that customers from the beer garden have to come inside to use the restroom, but as frequent patrons we knew this before booking and it did not interfere with our celebration. Events Coordinator Dana and GM Cara ensured we had everything in place and worked hand in hand with our wedding planner to make sure the day went smoothly. It was a beautiful venue with thoughtful and enthusiastic staff, could not recommend more highly to host your event here!

My son's Wedding Welcome Party was hosted by Jackie American Bistro. We had over 100 guests and the food, staff, and venue were outstanding. I was able to extend our evening and we were graciously accommodated. We were able to order additional food and drinks for our guests. I would definitely recommend this venue for any type of gathering.

We had our rehearsal dinner for ~24 here (including a toddler, infant, and a couple vegans). I really can't say enough nice things about how accommodating they were. The room they set us up with was beautiful, the food was great, the staff was attentive and kind, and we all had a lovely time. If I need to host another group for a great dinner, these folks are going to be my first call. An incredible bonus: sound-level wise, it was very easy to have a conversation - I have some hearing damage, and I tend to have a hard time hearing people around me indoors. The room never got too loud even when there were multiple bustling conversations around the room. Finally: The rep we worked with was Brittany, and she was great. There were a lot of details to iron out and Brittany did a great job working through them all with me, especially on dietary restrictions. Strongly recommended.

We chose Jackie for our Welcome Party the night before our wedding. Our service was EXCEPTIONAL! Brittany and her team were extremely responsive and accommodating. Additionally, the food was a hit (especially the chicken sliders!!). We'd 100% recommend Jackie to anyone planning an event. Thank you again for everything!

We did an engagement party at Jackie, and Brittany Agro helped me through the whole process, advising me on the space, which sections would work best for our needs, and walked me through all the logistics in terms of documents/decisions/etc. The space itself was easily large enough for our event (~30 people) and had more space if needed. We had a dedicated bar waiter who was amazing, the food and drinks were great, and I would absolutely recommend this space.

We just had our daughters wedding this presidents day weekend, and we wished to sponsor a post wedding breakfast on Monday presidents day. Initially much to our chagrin no restaurants in the Navy Yard area would work with us. Either they wouldn't open at all, demanded loan shark pricing, or would not adjust their brunch menus for breakfast (think peperoni pizza or pretzels with mustard). We finally came upon Jackie American Bistro and what a great experience. Mr. Khan and Ms. Eleusizova were a pleasure to work with. We were able to work out a breakfast plan with a great menu for a workable price at the date and hours we required. Chef Jerome was very helpful in menu planning. At the day of the event the food and service vastly exceeded our expectations. Buffett was stocked with exceptionally good food, including classics like scrambled eggs, sausage, and nova, as well as southern dishes such as shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. All well prepared and tasty. Heather who was in charge kept everything rolling along swimmingly. As the restaurant opened for us only there was plenty of seating. The staff at Jackie demonstrated a go getter attitude coming through with a great event filling a niche no one else would take. I would highly recommend them for your next event in the Navy Yard. Next time we are in the area we will be excited to try them out for lunch or dinner!
