Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is such a breathtaking venue that we still can’t believe we got married there! The Tuscan-inspired architecture and vineyard views transported us and our guests to Italy, and the photo opportunities are endless.
Having three distinct yet neighboring spaces - the vineyard vista for the ceremony, the piazza for the cocktail hour, and the barrel room for the reception - created a lovely flow for our wedding. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces allowed us to take advantage of Sonoma’s beautiful weather before the sun went down, and it also comforted us that we could use the barrel room as a backup ceremony space in case of rain. Because each space is so beautiful and has great built-in lighting, it required minimal decorating from us, allowing us to save on floral/lighting costs without sacrificing style. We decided to only put floral arrangements on two wine barrels in the ceremony space, and only had centerpieces and uplighting in the barrel room.
The event staff at Jacuzzi are absolute professionals. We were lucky to work with Laura and Jessica, who were extremely helpful and responsive. Our contract included 5 ft round tables and folding chairs, but Laura also generously allowed us to use 100 bistro chairs from their tasting room for our ceremony, two farm tables, two candelabras, two olive trees, two wine barrels, a bar in the barrel room, a few wrought iron tables, sun umbrellas, and heaters (built into the piazza ceiling) at no extra cost. The team also handled the set up of all the tables and chairs. I am incredibly grateful to Laura for her kindness in including so much of that for us.
We had a great time selecting the Jacuzzi wines to serve at our wedding during a complimentary tasting a couple months before the wedding. I appreciated that Jacuzzi gave us a 20% discount on the wine we purchased, bought back all the unopened bottles at the end of the wedding, and managed our beer order and passed on the wholesale prices to us.
Jacuzzi required us to use some of their preferred vendors for catering and planning, and recommended other vendors. While this restricted our choices, it was ultimately helpful. All of the vendors we worked with were phenomenal, and the fact that most of them were familiar with the venue and each other helped our day run seamlessly.
It’s hard to imagine a better wedding experience. The celebration was so joyful and magical, and being in such a beautiful venue definitely set the tone.
