I had the utmost pleasure in working with Jamie (owner of Jamie Leigh Events) and some of her team (Loren and Anna) for my June 2024 wedding and it could not have been a more perfect match. From our initial phone call, I could tell her knowledge and experience in the field. We ended up booking a Partial Planning package that started 6 months from the wedding day which was great. I knew I would want to pick out all the vendors myself but wanted help with the smaller details and all the extras I knew I would forget. When we went into our first in-person meeting 6 months out, she had no idea what little details I had already, but ended up with the exact same plans just from looking at my Pinterest board and our initial call. She’s a mindreader and so good at what she does!! You could tell immediately that she had done her research, already communicated with my vendors, and had a plan for everything—I never ever felt like just another wedding client when I spoke with her. She really seems to pride herself on knowing every detail about your wedding all the time and being able to give you all the answers you need. Jamie also does a perfect job of respecting your wishes and budget but letting you know what she believes is worth it based on her experience, which was something I really appreciated. I also loved that she is not afraid to bring up potential negatives with an idea I had or go through logistics to warn you from her past experience. Since I had never planned a wedding before, I needed this kind of expertise and reality checks to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes. Also, if you ask her to do something at any reasonable time, it gets done immediately! I was so impressed at how I didn’t need to coordinate anything once she came on board, she took care of all the communication (which is the most time consuming part of planning). Then, on the day-of, the execution was just as good as the planning and everything I had hoped for. She’s so detail-oriented and will keep you/your designated person in-the-know about any hiccups or changes that need to be made. Never once was I stressed or worried about her the set up or flow of events! On top of all of this, she has a great personality—quick-witted and fun to be around, the perfect balance of serious and silly. I could go on and on about all the great things about her and her skills. But overall, I had such an amazing experience with Jamie/her team and could not recommend them more!

Jamie made sure everything about our wedding day went off without a hitch. She was there to help solve any issues that arose prior to the wedding and during the wedding without us ever knowing anything was amiss. From our first interaction Jamie was extremely helpful in guiding us to a manageable "theme" for our big day. All of our other vendors raved about working with Jamie, too!

Everything was perfect from the very beginning. Jamie our wedding planner ensured we had the perfect wedding. We could not have asked for anything more. We felt comfortable and secure in the fact that she would make sure nothing went wrong.

Jamie took all the burden of the day and even made sure to catch us in time if we went to accidentally mess it up! She asked questions in advance got to know us just enough and sent so many reminders! Without her our day would have been stress and with her it gets to be one of the best days of our lives and starts our future with a leg up!

Tracey was our wedding planner and did an outstanding job! I'm very organized and never thought I would need a planner until I met Tracey. She thought of everything I didn't and put together a Google Doc with all the specifics for my wedding day including diagrams of the reception layout and where people would sit and the ceremony layout. She also reached out to all my vendors to make sure they had everything set. Even during the wedding, she was consistently going up to all the vendors to make sure they were doing exactly want I wanted and made sure I was stress-free! My guests and I were blown away by how efficient she was. Even after the wedding we had some hiccups with vendors and Tracey along with Jamie Lee got involved and sorted everything out! I can not thank Tracey and Jamie Lee Events enough for making my wedding day legit perfect and stress-free for me! I cannot recommend Jamie Lee Events enough!

From my first call, Jamie blew me out of the water with her attention to detail, passion, and "get it done" attitude. Jamie knew the ins and outs of my venue, helped us perfectly execute our vision, and was the expert every bride needs when planning a wedding. Jamie walked us through every detail of the day and everything went off seamlessly. Even with a last minute venue change due to rain, Jamie handled every bump and issue that may have come up. On the day of, Jamie helped manage family, friends, and the event was so beautiful. She even helped pull of a surprise for me by having bubbles during the father/daughter dance which I had wanted but was originally told no. I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie and her team - they are truly excellent.

Jamie and Morgan ensured my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. They went above and beyond for our day and made sure that we as the bride and groom had the most easeful day! I have for years and will continue to recommend Jame Leigh Events to EVERYONE I know getting married! Thank you so much again Jamie and Morgan!!! We could not be more blessed.

I had sincerely the best experience with Jamie Leigh Events. Gabi was my primary planner and we couldn't say enough nice things! She was so helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. On the day both she and her assistant took care of everything. As a bride you have enough to stress about so all of the details and communication with all of the other vendors was completely handled. We really were so grateful for this team and I was especially throughout the entire planning process!

Morgan & Jamie Leigh Events made my wedding day so simple and took care of everything behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy the day. Would highly recommend to everyone!

I don’t even know where to begin. Hands down the best wedding decision we made throughout our entire 4 years long wedding planning process was to hire Jamie and her team. I was a originally a 2020 bride, but we had to postpone and then cancel our initial wedding (which was in a completely different date with a different team) and that was not an easy or fun process. So when we started over and met with planners, I was looking for someone I could be brutally honest with, talk to easily, and I kept saying “someone I would be friends with”. Jamie was just so honest and kind and funny, not like she was trying to sell us on her services like so many people we spoke to. She immediately got our not exactly run of the mill vision and theme (which was “A Midsummer Night Dream meets Ever After”, but with Pumpkins and Gourds because it was October) And oh my gosh we are so thrilled we hired her. I was not an easy bride by any means and she was patient, and got my vision and my creative language. My need to make endless mood boards to try to supplement descriptions of what I wanted. Intervened with problematic vendors so we were basically unaware of any situations. Her team day of were also incredible! None of my interaction felt like they were uniformed or unsure. Everything went well. And none of them were sort for sickly sweet or pandering to my husband or at all (which find to be kind of off putting but that’s just me) Everyone was just really phenomenal. Our wedding ended up being beautiful and I wan to do it all over again. Truly my only complaint is that I miss talking to her every day.

I knew going into wedding planning we wanted a coordinator for the day of - what I didn’t know was that I was getting a day of coordinator and so much more with Jamie Leigh Events! Jamie was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding. Any questions I had were answered and I got so many wonderful vendor recommendations. She and her team were so great and fun to work with! I didn’t have to think about anything on the wedding day because I knew Jamie had it handled - tropical storm and all! From start to finish, Jamie did a spectacular job assisting my daughter, over the past year, with planning her wedding. From the very first conversation, to the actual event, she was there every step of the way. Based on my daughter's vision, she also recommended various vendors that were able to create an absolutely beautiful wedding and she worked with the event staff throughout the entire process to ensure that our needs were met. Jamie also created a day of plan that allowed everyone to enjoy the day and live in the moment effortlessly! Thanks to Jamie, the wedding was beyond our expectations and one that will be remembered for years to come!

From the first phone call with Jamie, I knew her and her team were the best fit for my wedding. She was so informative from day one. As my day-of-coordinator, Jenn was an integral part of my wedding day. She started coordinating everything between my vendors and venue 3 months out from the wedding. Jenn is the reason I was able to breathe, sit back, relax, and enjoy/take in all those moments of the big day. She coordinated the rehearsal and her detailed timeline for the day was extremely helpful for the entire bridal party, as everyone knew when they were expected to be, at what time, and where. She even picked up our Chick-fil-A order that helped keep my bridesmaids fed and energized for the long day. Her attention to detail and consistent communication were impeccable. I will be recommending her to anyone I know getting married in the future!

As our day-of-coordinator, her line of questioning and enthusiasm let me know she had the capability to handle anything that would come our way on the day of the wedding. Don’t let the “day of coordinator” title mislead you, we were in constant contact for the 3 months leading up to the wedding. Jenn was quick to reply to any text, phone call, or email and her knowledge and expertise was evident and reassuring. Her thorough timeline, management of the rehearsal, and attention to detail was the key to how smoothly my daughter’s wedding day went (which made that day incredibly easy for me). She even made sure my daughter and the groom had their favorite drinks on the table when they arrived at the reception. I would highly recommend Jenn and Jamie Leigh Events for any upcoming large event that comes your way.

Choosing Jamie Leigh Events as our wedding coordinator team was quite possibly one of the best decisions we made during our planning process for our wedding. Being from Richmond and planning a wedding in Virginia Beach, they provided many recommendations on local vendors which reduced my time and stress from searching through the many many vendors on the internet. They were so responsive with their communication and made every effort to meet whenever I was in town to go over details. Morgan was our lead coordinator and she was simply amazing. As with most wedding, there are some bumps and issues along the way and day of. But Morgan handled them all seamlessly and without us knowing most of what was happening on our wedding day. She had our back and spoke up for us when we were hesitant on certain things that we wanted. Despite the majority of my communication being with Morgan, Jamie Leigh stopped by while myself and my bridal party was getting ready to be sure we were all good and ready for the day; which says a lot about her a business owner when she was busy herself coordinating for someone else's wedding that day. I truly felt that we showed up for our wedding confidently knowing that everything would be taken care of because of Morgan and the awesome team Jamie Leigh has put together. Don't think twice about booking them...you will not regret it!!

Jamie and Gabrielle were the best! It was the most perfect day and I seriously couldn't have done it without them! Jamie was so responsive throughout the wedding planning process. I can't say anything but great things!!!!

Jamie and her team were absolutely top notch! She took care of everything and it was like having an assistant for the wedding! She worked with all my vendors and her knowledge and network in the wedding industry is unmatched! She connected me with a team of experts for everything I needed…alterations, hair and makeup, DJ, and photographers. The day went so smoothly thanks to all her planning! She was always available any time of day and no ask was to much. I didn’t think I was going to need a wedding planner, now I don’t know how I would have gotten married without her!

Seriously, you NEED this Wedding planner! She made our Wedding run beyond smoothly! Very knowledgeable, professional and fun to work with! She handled everything for me which reduced my stress levels tremendously. I would hire her for any big event I had coming up but I believe she does Weddings only. You WON'T be disappointed if you hire this planner, she is WORTH every penny and your time!

We chose Jamie Leigh Events to coordinate our wedding this past weekend. Our assigned coordinator was Casey Six and she did an amazing job--she was very responsive, easy to work with, and showed she really cared about making our event a success. I would definitely recommend.

I had recently moved to the area, and I knew I would need a wedding planner as my family was in Northern VA. I utilized the partial planning package to coordinate my wedding and reception. Jamie was fantastic, as she realized that I was better at making decisions then trying to describe my day. Jamie would provide me 3 vendors within my budget, and then let me decide who I wanted to utilize. She handled all the coordination on the day of our wedding, so I could focus on getting ready. I highly recommend Jamie and Jamie Leigh Events!
