We tell your story through pictures, capturing every detail, expression and emotion that we can! We are trigger happy. This is a very small sample of Tom and Haley’s wedding. They received over 1400 images that were all edited to a timeless, classic beautifully finished look. Also, included are approximately 300 trendy, moody colored images, giving you a good blend of classic and timeless with more artistic, trendy images. Both copies are provided. This is your wedding day, and if you have a preference on color or style, we can happily accommodate your preference. That is what is so great about JMP, we are limitless! Can’t wait to learn more! Our experience with this photographer was disappointing and unprofessional. We paid for the unlimited package but 4 days before our wedding I was told that 12 hours of coverage was too long. We paid for a second shooter to man a PhotoBooth we h...
ad built but the week of was told they couldn’t accommodate and suggested we buy a ring light, so guests can take their own photos. After trying to offer hotel accommodations because she complained about the drive, I was told I was taking advantage of her and was asking for things no one else has. Please keep in mind, I was asking for a photo with our dogs, a last dance photo, and sparkler photos which I was told during our initial call would not be an issue and things she had done in the past. The day of the wedding, Jamie told me she had not done these types of photos before and it is all photoshopped. People in our wedding party and guests all felt like they were putting out our photographer when asking for photos. During our wedding party photos, the group felt rushed and like we an annoyance to Jamie even though we had everything built into the timeline. Multiple vendors and guests heard her complaining about the event itself. When the photos came back, they were nice. It did seem like she was not interested in positioning people during the formals or editing them as several came back seemingly undone. While talking with a guest and I, Jamie asked for the guest’s software and said if she did not give it to her than the guest can just edit the photos because she will not. Thankfully, I do have LightRoom on my own computer and was able to go back over and smooth out some flaws and edit the photos in questions.
Overall, I had many great vendors that made the day wonderful. She, however, was not one of them. We had a good experience with her during our engagement session, however our relationship should have ended there. I would suggest she update her contract.

I had so many laughs and enjoyed all your guests, as
everyone was so kind to us and made us feel so welcomed.
To touch on some of your comments, while planning for your wedding photography, we had to
work through several details and expectations. As a wedding professional, I have advised over
300 weddings on photography timelines and I know you wanted me there for 13 hours plus a 3
hour drive time. We ended up compromising by coming an hour later, which didn’t affect
capturing what was needed. I didn’t want you to spend the extra cost on a hotel. It was kind and
gracious of you to offer.
After your wedding, I updated my contract to be more specific on my unlimited package. This
was the first time I had to change the unlimited hourly amount in 14 years. My second
photographer and I did come and photograph your wedding for 12 hours (11am-11pm) for your
wedding. We were happy to be there and enjoyed photographing you all. We never spoke ill of
anyone or any of our photography tasks. That is just who we are - we love our career and love
photographing weddings. So I apologize you felt rushed or were annoyed because we tried so
hard to make sure your day was amazing.
You also wanted my second photographer to manage a do-it-yourself photo booth at no
additional cost. My second photographer follows me during the wedding day and is under
unlimited package contract with duties and responsibilities within that package. I wanted you to
have realistic expectations of what we could handle. Generally, we are needed for other tasks,
so I asked you to provide a $30-$50 ring light that was self operating for when we needed to
step away. During the reception, the purchased self operating light was great and we ran over to
the photo booth when we could to help out.
Within a week of your wedding day you provided me with inspiration sparkler photos. I was
upfront and told you I have never photographed them before, for example - Love spelled out,
heart shapes and swirls illuminated with a sparkler. I didn’t even know if it was possible or the
inspiration photos were photoshopped images. I do not have any sample photos like these on
my website. I was happy to try this because I had so much fun experimenting with the sparklers.
Lastly, I edit all the wedding photos and I provided you with 2366 images. I am glad to hear you
liked the majority of your pictures. Laurin please know you can contact me at any time if I
happened to miss an edit or you felt a photo is undone. I apologize for any misunderstanding or
appearances of a lack of professionalism. I am so glad your wedding day was a positive
experience overall. If there is anything I can further do, please let me know.

We met Jamie for our engagement pictures and I had given her little to work with other than we had a puppy for photos and I wanted a Willow Tree picture. Jamie found the perfect spot for our pictures and made us feel comfortable despite the puppy barking!! The wedding day Jamie and Marie covered all the small details and were sure to keep busy shooting even when our decoration set up took longer than anticipated. nd fun ideas and is not afraid to try new things with her photography, but she doesn't skimp on the traditional shots. She's also a great listener and will take your suggestions and run with them to create a highly unique product. Jamie is a lot of fun to work with and is always smiling, but she is also highly professional and blends into the background when necessary; for the more candid shots at the ceremony and reception, she was like a chameleon! I hardly noticed that there were photographers around, and yet I ended up with over 1000 outstanding proofs!
The bottom line: the photos from our engagement session and our wedding day were phenomenal, and Jamie was an absolute joy to work with. She captured our most special day in a way that was both classic and contemporary, so that our photos will easily stand the test of time. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a fantastic (and, I must say, affordable!) wedding photographer.
