My name is Erin Rose Specht and I have been working with flowers for over 12 years. I grew up in this industry and take great pride in my work as a designer. I am also a new wife and have just gone through the (pleasure? pain?) of wedding planning. I totally understand the stress/ pressure and love/ hate relationship with planning your wedding. I am here to help you create your vision for your wedding day, none of the events I do are ever exactly the same because I don't believe that any 2 couples are exactly the same. Every wedding I do should tell a story about the couple. Incorporating a special flower that was given on a first date, using a beloved family heirloom in the decor or just the feeling that whole vibe of the decor reflects the couple themselves is what I love about the events I am able to create for my clients. I use my background knowledge and expertise in flowers and decor to help you create the look of your wedding and ensure that I am with you from the first consultation meeting, personally design and construct all of the florals for your sample meeting and am on the ground to oversee construction and execution of the florals the day of the wedding. Due to the boutique nature of my business and the individualized attention I like to give each of my brides I am only able to take 2 events per day so if you are interested in getting a quote put together let me know as soon as possible!

Process:
The first thing is getting in contact with me to see that I have your date/ deliver to your ceremony/ reception venue to do this I ask you to fill out a small contact information form. (For an example click here)
The second after I have made sure the basics for your wedding all look good, I send you a questionnaire to better get the ideas for your vision, it is a little long but it really helps me paint the full picture of your wedding day in the proposal.
After you fill out the questionnaire I will put together a proposal mock up, click here to view an example of our proposal.
STEP 1: PROPOSAL MEETING
The first in person meeting for us is to go over the proposal and the vision for your wedding, here we can discuss other options for the decor and really get into the details of the flower options and accessories! (You get to check out my very cool stock pile of awesome wedding accessories and look into our floral coolers for further inspiration!) (This meeting typically takes anywhere from 30- 45 minutes)

Erin was absolutely incredible. From the initial phone call with her, I immediately felt so comfortable with her and she offered a complimentary floral proposal. The proposal was perfect just from the information I gave her over the phone and she perfectly captured our vision. She was very helpful throughout the whole process and she brought our vision to life on our wedding day. Our guests were so impressed by the flowers and they could not have been more perfect. Flowers were one of the most important aspects for me for our wedding day, and she did and absolutely amazing job, from the personals, to the ceremony arch, to the reception, all the way down to the details. I could not recommend Erin and her team enough. She is so knowledgable and truly an artist.
I highly recommend Erin and J&M! From our very first meeting, it was clear Erin knew what she was doing and I/ we did not. Throughout the entire planning process, Erin was very patient with my mom and I, accommodating all of the changes we requested and quick to respond. We worked with Erin for our May 2024 wedding at the Ryland Inn. She is very familiar with the venue, which was incredibly helping during the entire process. She was thoughtful and communicative. She was responsive to all of my questions and showed me how I could get my desired look within my budget. Her and the rest of the J&M team were at the venue on time and communicative. We continue to get compliments on our flowers and we are so happy that we chose Erin. Our photographer even raved about how many details flowers she provided. You will not regret working with her!

Overall, we had a good experience with J&M: beautiful, high-quality flowers and details, professional service the morning of the wedding, and a very accommodating attitude. We especially appreciated the time they took to find the perfect shade of mauve we requested for our roses. We did encounter a couple of small issues though: (1) during the planning stage, we didn't receive as much communication from J&M as hoped (compared to our other vendors) and had to reach out a couple of times to confirm that everything was still on track, and (2) the ribbon on my bridal bouquet was the wrong color (white instead of ivory) and was clearly lacking the requested bow. Unfortunately, we noticed the issues with the bow too late - I know that if we had noticed them earlier, the J&M team would have been available to resolve the issue as they were in the area and encouraged us to reach out with any issues the morning-of. When I initially brought the issue to the attention of the staff, they refunded us the cost of the bouquet (thank you!), but they didn't quite believe that I had been given the wrong bow; after further explanation and pictures, they accepted that there had been an error, which they apologized sincerely for.
We appreciate the work done to make our day beautiful, as well as accommodations along the way.
Erin and her team are amazing!! We got married in NJ (where I’m from), but live all the way in WA and Erin was so easy to plan with over both phone and email. Our wedding day ended up being somewhere around 100 degrees, and Erin was still able to make sure that the flowers all looked gorgeous. We had a large bridal party with bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower girl bouquets, church flowers, reception flowers, cake flowers, etc. and everything coordinated beautifully. We went with a creamy white, light green, and eucalyptus scheme and it was exactly what I had hoped for. Can’t recommend enough!

Erin did an amazing job with our flowers. I still look at pictures and feel how beautiful they were. It was exactly how I wanted them to be. She was prompt with delivery on the day of to where I was getting ready, my husband, the church, and then the venue. Everything was beautiful. I even decided at the last minute that I needed to get my bouquet preserved because it was so beautiful and I wanted it to last forever. Thank you, Erin!
I still cannot get over how gorgeous my flowers were for my wedding day. Erin did a spectacular job and my flowers were beyond my wildest dreams! I pushed my wedding a year due to covid and completely changed what I wanted everything to look like - Erin was incredibly patient and accommodating throughout. Her work is brilliant, I had some wacky ideas and to say she delivered on them is an understatement!!! We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked and that was all thanks to Erin. We got so many compliments with our ceremony floral arrangements and our bouquets from all of our wedding guests. Erin did such an incredible job with all the floral arrangements and felt like we were in our own disney movie. She went through all the details with us and executed everything to perfection. I found Erin's work through Instagram when she was tagged in a photo posted by my reception venue (Olde Mill Inn). After looking through photos of her work, I was stunned! I saw beautiful pieces from small table arrangements to huge arches and everything in between, so right away I could see how her creativity and flexibility with wedding styles really shined. Erin was lovely to work with- kind, responsive, understanding, and communicative about timelines leading up to the big day. I didn't worry about a thing with Erin! She worked with my budget, made all of the pieces beautiful, and really made my vision come alive for our cocktail hour and reception venue. I would recommend Erin to any bride or anyone looking to add stunning florals to their event!
We are right on the heels of our first anniversary and we are still thoroughly convinced that Erin (@erintheflowerstylist) is a total mind-reader. Florals was an area we needed a lot of help with, and we knew what we didn’t want, with only elements of what we did want. Boy did Erin DELIVER! Her experience is vast, so coupled with a versatile and fun styling approach, she knocked it out of the park from the beginning. Totally listened to every word and somehow pulled those visions out of my head and executed them in ways I couldn’t even articulate. We got married just before vaccines were rolled out, so naturally that put us in weird territory of headcount restrictions and daily changes on allowances. Erin was not just flexible during this time, but amazing in helping us come up with a plan for what could potentially happen on the day, and went above and beyond. She transformed our ceremony into something we couldn’t have dreamed of and it was more than perfect. She gives her dedicated attention to each couple in the weeks leading up to their event, but I promise you, she will be there for you – so keep in touch every so often if you need to, but you can trust she’ll give you the same gung-ho attention when your time comes! SO THANKFUL for all of her help, and we still cannot believe how beautiful her work truly is.
Erin did an amazing job with our flowers! We were supposed to get married in November 2020 so my wedding colors were plum and gray. We moved our wedding to August 2021 and Erin was able to really let the plum pop and give it a summery feel! My bouquet was beautiful and the pops of color really stood out against my dress which I loved! The table decor was perfect. We did a mixture of low and high center pieces. The space we had the wedding at was pretty big and Erin did a great job of making it feel warm and inviting with the flowers. I definitely recommend her!
Erin created our vision and then some
She went above and beyond. I met her through my mom and sister where she did her wedding shower. That was magical and I’m not shocked that she blew it out of the water for ours. Every detail was thought out down to the magnet bouttineres definitely spelled wrong. Love Erin and she will be used for every family occasion 💜
Erin is so talented! I sent her a very disorganized Pinterest board with a loose idea of what I wanted and she turned it into perfection. The designs she created were wonderful and perfectly fit the vibe of my wedding. The flowers were so beautiful, and everyone's bouquets held up nicely for the whole day. Thank you Erin!
Erin is amazingly talented, fun to work with, helpful with suggestions and just navigates the entire wedding planning with such naturally gifted ease. Erin did our daughter's wedding and everything was just more beautiful than we could have imagined. We had last minute changes due to COVID and Erin easily adapted accordingly. We highly recommend Erin...you will not be disappointed!
Erin is the absolute best to work with! She listens to the bride's vision and makes it a reality! She is so professional and sits with you to go over every detail, is present the day of to set up and handles any challenge with a "can do" attitude. Every detail was gorgeous, from the bouquets to the candles on the tables- Erin makes every aspect of your wedding venue pop with beautiful flowers!
Erin from J&M is just the best! The first time I met with her, we talked and talked like old friends - she was just so kind and down to earth and easy to talk to. I had a vague idea of what I wanted my flowers to look like on my wedding day; I really only knew I wanted fall colors. The proposal Erin sent me was perfect. She absolutely nailed the vision that I didn't even know I had. When it came time to show me the samples of my bouquet and centerpieces, I was blown away. Erin really has a way of making a simple mix of flowers look absolutely gorgeous. On the day of my wedding, when I saw the bouquets and centerpieces, I knew I made the right decision. Flowers were our main source of decorations, and they were beyond perfect. We even let our guests take the centerpieces home and they still look beautiful over a week later! I am so happy I found Erin at J&M, and I would honestly travel an hour to her anytime if I need flowers in the future. I can't recommend them enough, not to mention their prices were more than fair! My flowers were hands down my favorite piece of my wedding day. Thank you!
Erin from J&M is spectacular! She goes above and beyond to give her clients what they want. I shopped around for a lot of florists and received quotes that were all over the place. Hands down, J&M provided the most amount of floral arrangements for the least in price. I gave Erin my lavender and dusty blue color scheme and let her know I wanted succulents incorporated in everything, and she took my idea and made something beautiful. Most weddings I have been to have either been white or blush flowers. I knew I wanted color in my arrangements but didn't know what types of flowers work well for bouquets and centerpieces. Erin drafted up her proposal detailing all the different types of flowers she would be using and what the centerpieces should look like. When I saw the arrangements for the first time it took my breath away. They were perfect. She had everything set up so quickly, including my seating chart mini succulents with table number and guest name flags in them. She was also very responsive in messages and I was never worried about her not showing up in time. Very professional. If I ever need a florist again, I know I will use J&M.
I used Erin at J&M as my florist for my wedding at the Olde Mill In this past June and she was nothing short of amazing! She was patient (with all of my bridezilla emails) and everything my husband and I wanted she delivered on! Erin took our vision and made it come to life! I would recommend her 1,000 times over!
Erin is truly fantastic. We had a quick 10 minute call where I explained what I was looking for (with very little detail because I was still trying to figure out what I wanted), and in no time, she’d built out a proposal that was exactly what I was looking for. She was so nice throughout the process, very flexible with last minute changes, and the end result was beautiful (from the lantern centerpieces to the bridal bouquets). Highly recommend!!!
Erin is amazing!!! Not only is she one of the nicest people I have ever met, but she produces amazing work. Every step of the way, she really understood our vision, offered excellent advice, and exceeded all expectations. We even had to move our ceremony indoors at the last minute, and due to her knowledge of the venue, she was able to adapt our original plans for the ceremony pieces into an indoor setting! Erin was one of our favorite vendors to work with not only for her agreeable disposition, but also for the fact that she just "got" what we were going for with our vision. From something so seemingly simple like the boutonnieres to my nontraditional suspended flower display, she exceeded all expectations. Erin and team went out of their way to help in any way needed for our big day and after (They even brought our Welcome sign from our venue that we had forgotten to me at work!). 5 stars doesn't do J&M justice. Our family loved their work and working with Erin so much, she is doing my brother's wedding next year :0)
Erin at J&M knows her trade! She created beautiful flower arrangements for our wedding day, ranging from gorgeous bouquets to centerpieces to outfitting the church. I had a pretty specific vision, and she truly brought it to life. The flowers stayed fresh for days, and we received endless compliments on the “striking displays”. When it came to wedding flowers, my husband and I were completely lost. Erin at J&M Floral and Events took the time to help us choose everything we needed for our wedding. We had multiple meetings and correspondence with Erin over the course of a year. She was willing to work in our budget and help us find the best possible floral choices. Erin is a complete professional and once we told her our vision and color scheme, she knew exactly what to do. Our reception centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous – guests are still talking about them. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were BEAUTIFUL – I had multiple bridesmaids tell me they were the most beautiful bouquets they have gotten at a wedding. And the bridal bouquet was absolutely perfect – it looks amazing in photos. If you’re looking for a florist that has extensive knowledge in the field, has immense experience with weddings, and is willing to work with any budget, look no further.
Planning a wedding in NJ and living in CA was not an easy task. With two trips to NJ before the big day, my time was very limited and I had a lot to accomplish during each trip. My first visit I went to meet with a highly recommended florist who was "supposed" to give me a great deal. Had a great inital design meeting with them, received the proposal to read that they were going to charge me $8,000!!! At minimum - not including the rentals. They did me a favor and cut my cost in half but asked me pay them cash. I went for a second meeting and with the cost being cut in half so were the flowers. THey were unwilling to get creative or work with my budget.
I came accross a business card for J & M that my dad gave me when I first got engaged. He made me call them right away and I met with Erin that same afternoon I met with the original florist. She was able to put together not only a proposal within my budget but also a table sampling. She knew that I had one day left on my last trip before the wedding. I am sure I drove her crazy with my emails, phone calls and texts - but she never complained. I love working with local businesses. They care more about the end result and care about their clients. She is the daughter of one of the owners and she did the most AMAZING job on the wedding flowers. She worked with me in creating 6 different table arrangements in creating a more unique feel at each table in the reception room. The flowers were EXTREEMLY fresh and everyone walked out with at least one long stemed calla lilly. I gave Erin my budget and she came in under! It is rare that wedding vendors actually listen to your needs and requests!
Check this place out - it may not have many reviews but it should! I am not sure why more people don't use them for their wedding. My bouquet was absolutely STUNNING. Erin did a beautiful job. She made my wedding better than I could have ever imagined it to be in my wildest dreams. I have seen flower budgets as high as $250,000 (during my days as a wedding planner). Erin understood my design and made it look like a million bucks!
My experiences with J & M were nothing short of amazing. Erin is an exceptionally talented florist. She has a tremendous amount of experience and she listens to your vision and then makes it better. Erin went out of her way to work with my schedule and stayed late so that we could meet. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease to be open with what you'd like your wedding day flowers to look like. The day of the wedding Erin was early to the house to drop off the flowers for the girls and I, and I could not get over how unbelievably gorgeous the flowers were. And she made the church look beautiful too. We received countless compliments on the flowers. We still can't get over how perfect our reception hall looked and we actually had guest fighting over taking the center pieces home!!! I can't suggest J & M enough!!!
