Jardin del sol

st minute to cover my reception. I fell in love with the beauty of this venue a year and a half ago, envisioning my whimsical garden wedding. But then the storm rolled in and I PANICKED. I seriously thought my wedding was ruined, but she reassured me that the beauty would remain and did everything in her power to do so. She was right, it was stunning! I recommend her 1000% times. The venue was stunning of course, you can see that for yourself, but working with Daralyn and her team was what really makes this venue special.

th our vendors seamlessly and responded quickly to any and all questions. 10/10 would recommend!

al tree canopies over the ceremony space to perfectly cultivated flowers throughout the grounds, there were endless spots that were photo worthy as well as little tucked away hidden spots. The owner, Daralyn, is an amazing and involved owner/manager of the venue. She is incredibly knowledgeable about her venue and also has lots of excellent information and recommendations about vendors. Some of the best parts of us booking the venue for us (beyond the amazing scenery): 1) Recently renovated bride room, groom room, and bathrooms 2) Parking lot attendants to help fit all of our guest's cars easily 3) The staff of Jardin. Not only with Daralyn throughout the process, but also on the wedding day but Jacob as well. Jacob was so incredibly helpful in everything from decorating, planning, vendor assistance, and everything in between. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

y firepit, sprinkled throughout the place. If what I’ve described is where you envision getting married, I recommend you consider Jardin del Sol (JDS). I was a June 2023 bride. A year ago, I came across JDS and the new owners (Daralyn and Casey McIntyres). It was right after COVID, a place that still needed extra love, but we could see the vision they had for the venue. We reserved the date and locked in our rate, which was and still is affordable. Over the next year, we’ve visited several times and saw the progress of love, effort, and labor poured into the venue. On our wedding day, it was the perfect place to get married. We had a good experience with Daralyn during the planning process. We shared our ideas and preferences, while Daralyn worked to help us achieve this while balancing the limitations she/the venue had. On the day of the wedding, given the issues we had with our day of coordination services, we were so fortunate to have Daralyn and team to help fill in gaps where needed. I am a firm believer that the best experiences are the ones that are not perfect. And as much as we all want wedding days to go flawlessly, things happen. It is during these moments of mistakes that define the true character and capability of a vendor. There were a few things that had happened at the venue (e.g., venue had one less easel than discussed, cake cutting table in the wrong place, etc.). No excuses were made and the venue immediately fixed them. The level of professionalism, responsiveness and care stood out in our experience. Throughout the planning process, I also had some issues with another one of my vendors when doing a walkthrough at the venue. I recall several moments that Daralyn was there to defend me and ensure that I was not being misled. I felt relieved knowing she had my back. So to sum it up, a wonderful venue, great service, and a fun experience. I was so glad that we had our wedding at Jardin del Sol.

to work with, we are so grateful for her, the venue, and all the work they put into updating it before the 2022 season!

. I’d like to first mention that my wife and I had communicated with Melanie well in advance and we very set on 8/3 as our wedding day. Coincidentally, that weekend was also Melanie and her husband’s anniversary and she was more than willing to accommodate so that my wife and I can have it on the day we wanted. She was very responsive and proactive with the coordination throughout our wedding planning process. While the venue did have some vendor restrictions/limitations (primarily DJ (understandable given Snohomish County’s sound ordinance) and Caterer (additional fee for a caterer outside the preferred list)). These restrictions were clearly discussed with us early in the process and is outlined within the first few pages of the agreement, so my wife and I were aware of the requirements and felt comfortable with the venue’s preference. The days leading up to the wedding day, Melanie was very flexible with us in the timing of our rehearsal as well as allowing our photographers to visit the venue Friday morning to get comfortable with the surroundings (our photographers were from out of state and Melanie was so kind in allowing us to do this). On the day of wedding, the venue was looked spectacular. The ceremony looked amazing, the gazebo was a prime spot for our photobooth and the amount of shade from the trees helped make sitting outside of the tent bearable for our guest. We were concerned with early August being one of the warmer times of the year in Seattle, but to our surprise, the trees provided the perfect amount of shade. We had originally planned for a later sparkler send off, but as the day went on, we realized that we needed to move up our sparkler send off time and Melanie was more than happy to accommodate our timing. Our wedding guests absolutely loved the venue. All in all, the venue was phenomenal, and Melanie was such a joy to work with. We could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding and highly recommend this venue for all future couples if you want an unforgettable wedding!

was perfect for a dance party and had plenty of space for the kids to enjoy. Before the event, Melanie was great at communicating and always welcoming of venue visits. The only potential improvement is that there are only 2 restrooms. With 150 guests, the line got quite lengthy at several points throughout the event. Overall, it was an incredible event space. We would highly recommend!

easy to communicate with and she was very helpful in giving us suggestions and answering our questions. She also had quite a few pieces of furniture that we could use so that we didn't have to rent from an outside vendor. We had 100 people attend our wedding and the venue very comfortably fit everyone. It is a very romantic setting with something beautiful around every corner. We are so happy that we chose this venue, it was the most wonderful day.

esome and covered with all kinds of greens and flowers. That made our decoration part super easy since the place is already super pretty. Thanks Melanie again for all the help.

h our day-of coordinator to ensure everything went smoothly. She even allowed us to come visit after work to show our family and friends the venue whenever we wished as long as we contacted her first, which was really nice! We ended up booking the venue about 15 months in advance after touring the Snohomish Wedding venue tour, and we could not have been happier with our choice. We were looking for a garden venue that was flat, had restrooms, and included a tent, tables, and chairs in the rental fee. We also were interested in a venue that had a lot of greenery, free parking, and had a vendor list. The venue itself is so gorgeously maintained, and along with the tent, tables, etc., they have beautiful furniture and props that complimented our Alice in Wonderland theme perfectly. The venue does require you to use their preferred vendor list, and we were very happy with our choices (Twelve Baskets catering & DJ Bugsie). The week of our wedding had some wacky weather with wild fires and chances of rain, and Melanie coordinated sharing the cost of a secondary tent for our guests with another couple that weekend, which worked out very well. Melanie was also available all day on our wedding day offering to help which was very nice! I would recommend JDS to anyone looking for a beautiful garden venue with a very kind owner. Thank you Melanie for all of your help!

ally we were planning on having a miniature horse at the wedding, but due to unforeseen circumstances we found out that we were not going to be able to get it a week before the wedding. Melanie mentioned that she knew someone in the area with a miniature horse and the day of the wedding was able to have it delivered. This was honestly one of the highlights of our wedding. Melanie went above and beyond finding us this horse and it is one of the many reasons we would recommend Jardin Del Sol to any couple getting married.

tions to take photos. We booked our wedding over a year in advance, which meant I took a few trips to the venue before our big day. Melanie was so kind in letting me visit as many times as I needed, and was always super responsive whenever I reached out to her. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue is, weeks after our wedding! Melanie and Doug put so much love and attention to detail into this space. I really cannot thank them enough for creating such a wonderful location for our big day. We visited over a dozen venues, and nothing compares to Jardin del Sol. The atmosphere and service you receive are top notch. I cannot imagine being married anywhere else!

orgeous trees so it did not feel like it was 90 degrees outside. This garden is kept in tip-top shape. I got SO many compliments from my guest saying how much they loved this wedding venue. Melanie the owner was SO nice and SO helpful, there were stressful times during the wedding process and she was there to help me through all of it. I literally cannot say enough good things about this venue.

unicators and leaders I have ever worked with. People must assume responsibility for their choice to have an outdoor wedding. There are controllables and non-controllables. This location is so diverse in its gorgeous embellishments both natural and man-made. It would almost be a shame if Doug and Melanie did not share this peaceful oasis nestled in the hills of Snohomish. If a lovely garden wedding is your choice, then look no further than Jardin Del Sol.

ng. The spot is beautiful and it is so handy to have the ceremony site at the same place as the reception. Also, never underestimate a venue that has running water and flush toilets for improving the overall quality for your guests. A lot of things are involved in your rental which also makes planning a lot easier. Our wedding do we had a *crazy* storm that resulted in downed trees and power outages. By the time we arrived, the power came back on, but just in case they had gotten a generator and port-o-potties, and cleared the ceremony site. Considering the circumstances everything went off as well as possible. We greatly appreciated the help considering we almost couldn't get there; it was amazing to have those details worked out for us by the time we arrived and it relieved a lot of stress.

gorgeous landscaping and scenery, with a spacious patio and wedding tent catered to hosting romantic summer vows. We chose Jardin del Sol as our venue not only because of the idyllic backdrop, but also for the value and professionalism exuded by the owners. Melanie, the owner, shares her wealth of experience and insights in a very kind and caring manner, which really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves on the big day. Always quick to respond or set up a walk-through, it felt like she was just another family friend by the time we got to the day of the wedding! The reception and ceremony areas are separate, but adjoined by a romantic pathway. We LOVED the ceremony area: a garden grove of trees and flowers with the perfect arch as a blank canvas for our florals. White wooden chairs (as well as tables and the main tent) are included, and Melanie helped us arrange for linen rentals and an additional tent rental (since we had a forecast of rain that did not happen luckily!). Melanie and her husband have put in a ton of work to make the property perfect for hosting a wedding: landscaping, finding additional white vintage pieces for check-in tables and dessert bars, and furnishing a gorgeous bar and fire pit. The bridal barn is perfect to get dressed in, as well as to spy on incoming guests before the ceremony. :) Additional bonuses for the venue: ample parking and parking attendant included, field and rolling hill for lawn games and play area for kids, additional cabana area for groomsmen/hanging out, beautiful lighting for the dance floor, wine barrel cocktail tables, etc.! Some considerations that may not be for all: limited kitchen space for caterers ( no on-site burners/ovens, just refrigeration and prep areas), everything is outdoor (the tent is massive, so we weren't worried even if it had rained, but something to consider), and music off before 10 (Snohomish city rules). I feel so grateful we were able to secure Jardin del Sol for our August wedding. Thank you for helping make our wedding the perfect day! Summers are popular, so don't hesitate if you're searching for a rustic/vintage garden venue!

so many beautiful items to use at the venue and was able to order other items, like tablecloths, making the wedding planning process much easier. She was also really flexible and when we arrived with large picture frames, she was able to provide beautiful easels to display them without any notice. We were also able to bring our dog! It was easy and fun working with Melanie and having our wedding at Jardin del Sol made our wedding perfect

spacious it was. Melanie was very helpful every step of the way. Always quick to answer emails and phone calls. I will recommend this venue to anyone and everyone I know! I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else, it fulfilled every wedding dream I have had since I was a little girl.

ew 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the owner. When I first met her she was lovely and I would have never suspected the issues that were to come. She was extremely difficult when it came to dj's. The dj we originally picked she had issues with in the past so I broke my contract with them, and paid fees in order to make her happy. The new dj we picked went to do a site visit with her to make sure everything would run smoothly and she clearly has an issue with dj's in general. So if you don't care about dj's pick one off her list so she's happy and doesn't cause any drama. However, knowing friends who are managers in the dj industry they aren't great dj's. Overall, wonderful vibe at the place but if you don't want added drama from the venue go with some where else.

states that everything you see when the venue is staged is included: the tent, tent liner, tables, and tablecloths, etc. but when you look at the details of the contract only the bare minimum is included. Bare tent, bare tables and chairs. To get the vision that is presented you must pay for each addition--which easily doubles the price of the rental. She pushes additional rentals that can run extra thousands of dollars that have no return option. There was little help on the day of because we brought our own linens for the tables and is already told that after the ceremony we must move the chairs to the reception area. Plus on the day of the wedding the owner walked around with a sound meter to harass my DJ about the level of the music even though it was the middle of the day and the music was in no way above appropriate levels. Overall, the venue is lovely but the service and value are poor.

rty we were sold. Not only is it beautiful but they work so well with you to organize everything. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

e is still considered to be rainy season in this area, but we loved the scenery so much, we risked it, all while praying for sunny weather. I obsessively checked the weather report every day once the 10-day forecast was available. Luckily, the day turned out absolutely amazing, not one drop of rain! The flowers in the garden were all in bloom and the whole venue is really just breathtaking. I couldn't imagine having been wed anywhere else. The only "complaint" I would have is that the owner can get a bit snappy and comes off as rude at times. I just learned to ignore it, because it was MY big day! Overall, you will love this venue, I am sure of it. We had so many guests compliment on its beauty.

day- of planning if you book there) is a total mess...I am not the only bride who thinks so I talked with many others who had serious issues with her. She is a great gardener but is horrible with people. I would not want her near my family with her horrible attitude on my wedding day.
