I am from Canada and was attending a conference in Chicago. I thought no better time to combine this with a mini holiday and engagement. I found Jason online and started communicating with him about 1 month prior to going to Chicago. I told him of my engagement plans and he truly took it from there. Being that it was September, Jason suggested a few locations, of which I selected the Rookery. The thought was to ensure weather would not dampen this special moment. Now what an amazing venue to take pictures in! Stunning!! Although Jason was not able to photograph the proposal, he had his team member Ryan who was more than capable of making this event special. My future sister-in-law, brother-in-law and my son, all participated in coming out to Chicago to surprise my fiancé for this special event. Ryan ensured that everyone was in place (and hiding), while I proposed. Jason went a step further (and certainly did not have to) and booked us in for diner at Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse which made the day extra special. I can't say enough about Jason, Ryan and the entire team. I would not hesitate for a second to use his services for our wedding. I just wish we lived closer!

Looking for a photographer and be stress-free while on vacation? Jason Kaczorowski Photography is the who you want to hire. I have spent a lot of time doing my research all across the internet looking to see who I wanted to capture my special moment. I came across Jason’s website and did not know what route I had to go through in order to plan such beautiful event. Once i gave Jason the call, he has been nothing but the best in setting up a special day. Jason made this process the most stress-free planning I have ever had. While in Chicago, I did not know where I wanted to propose to my now Fiance but guess what? Jason has all sorts of attractions and venue he recommends. Jason has provided the most excellent communication/Service up until the day the big day. I had the privilege to have Alex as my photographer. Alex, another phenomenal person who showed nothing but excellence. The big day then arrived! Alex was so perfect in helping myself play along with how I planned on doing my proposal. The personality he had was great. During the photoshoot, he kept the energy going for us. I’ve had photographers in the past who I’ve hired that would not really show a lot of energy towards the event which brings me writing my first ever review. That shows how great this was ……….

We had an unexpected weather occurrence come up before we were supposed to take photos, and the team helped accommodate and made the process so seamless! From the first phone call with Jason, I knew he was the right guy for the job. I was planning a surprise proposal and he helped talk me through all the possible locations and timelines for how it would go down. He was very genuine when answering questions and helped guide me to the most efficient approach. I decided on a location that required a permit and Jason handled that process for me. After deciding when and where, I was paired with the photographer Sam. My girlfriend had guessed the proposal was happening that day and was joking the entire ride into the city. Thankfully with the help of Sam, we were able to throw her off right before popping the question. Sam had great direction and supported us throughout the process making sure we were comfortable the entire time. He was open to ideas as well as having great shots pre-planned out to fill the time we had him booked for. We did the proposal plus a 60 minute portrait session. With our emotions running high, we had a great time and the 60 minutes flew by. For our location it was the perfect amount of time without feeling rushed or feeling like we didn’t get enough shots. For anyone on the edge about booking, the quality and professionalism of Jason and Sam was beyond my expectations and I couldn't imagine going any other route.

Jason and his team are top-tier professionals. Beginning with our first call, it became obvious that Jason is passionate about helping couples capture their special moment. Leading up to my proposal, Jason communicated regularly with me with regard to planning and weather alternatives via both email and phone calls. His ideas for how to best plan the proposal (location, approach, preparation, etc.), consideration of all alternatives (locations that may be subject to crowding during peak times of year/day, weather alternatives in the event of rain, etc), professionalism with execution, and quick delivery of completed photography made Jason's team a delight to work with. Jason's website is also full of resources to help plan your event - I found it very useful as a guide to help visualize how things might turn out. Jason's team exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend his team to everyone!

Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with. I reached out a few months before I intended to propose to my fiancé, and from the beginning he was fantastic in the information he was able to offer to help us begin planning. He has a wealth of vendors he works with and recommends, a great number of locations he knows, and just all in all he was able to answer just about any question we had. I could not recommend hiring him more not just because of his help in the months leading up, but also the pictures were genuinely amazing!

I spoke with Jason about capturing my proposal and I was sold within moments. His passion for the finer details, his excitement for me, and willingness to help me plan everything step by step showed me that he cared. The proposal was better than I even hoped, the photographer played the part of a tour guide, took our coats, and had my girl believing she was going on a boring architectural tour. She was surprised to say the least! The photographer was patient, kind, very knowledgeable, and never stopped smiling. The communication was frequent, and Jason kept me up to date on all the important aspects of the shoot. The photos were edited and available to us within 6 hours. They are amazing, and captured our special, intimate moment perfectly. Jason and Sam were so great to work with. Great with planning before hand and recommendations on the best spots. Made sure we had a backup plan in case weather day of was bad, and Jason went ahead and put in approvals ahead of time in case we needed to switch locations. The pictures were stunning and were delivered that night. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend Jason and Sam to anyone who has no idea what they're doing in terms of proposal pictures (Your Fiance will thank you for working with Jason and Sam)

Jason’s team did an amazing job! Jason coordinated everything very clearly throughout the process and was very communicative on the day of the proposal. Our photographer Ryan captured everything perfectly and even pretended to be a tour guide to lead my financee and I to the exact spot I wanted to propose. We used Jason Kaczorowski Photography for our proposal in Nov 2022 and our wedding in Dec 2023. Going with Jason and Alex was the best decision we made for our wedding! They helped schedule every step of the day to have adequate time for pictures and directed us to where we needed to be the entire time! We are still in disbelief. Our engagement photos are absolutely gorgeous. Alex was a gem of a person to work with. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the shoot and helped us with every pose along the way. Especially my fiancé being camera shy, she was very happy and loved the entire duration of the shoot. Alex went over and beyond to provide a variety of excellent and creative shots. Apart from providing excellent suggestions, he also made sure our own ideas were very well incorporated. Jason and Alex were both so accommodating regarding scheduling and made judgments on the weather that made for a beautiful lakefront photoshoot. Jason and his assistant Alex made our wedding day memories extra special, in a way which I did not think was possible. He really captured the vibe of our big day so well, and we’ve only scratched the surface of what he’s shot (we’re really looking forward to the final delivery, but he turned around some incredible shots within hours of our event ending). He really has a great eye and is effecient with his shooting process. He also scouted out some locations ahead of time for a sunset session with us, and those pictures turned out incredible as well. Aside from being both easy to work with and extremely professional, Jason gave us great all-around good advice for the wedding day that was invaluable. He put us at ease quickly and that helped make our photos all the more natural—our personalities really shine through. I even handed Jason my phone at one point to take a few photos after they had put their equipment away, and the photos he took with my phone were stunning! Way better than anything I take with the same device. Just goes to show you it’s not the tool, it’s the artist! We can’t recommend Jason enough—and would hire him again in a heartbeat for a future special event, wedding or otherwise.

I worked with Jason and Sam for a proposal shoot and I cannot recommend them enough for capturing the perfect moment! Jason’s knowledge and tips are unmatched. He made me feel so on top of things and went so far above and beyond from helping with location, the whole days plan, and even keeping up with weather reports for that day. Neither my Fiancé nor I are from Chicago, so his insights were a TREMENDOUS benefit that made the event and celebration so much better. Sam, our photographer, was super fun and a great coach and is incredibly skilled in his craft. My Fiancé and I are absolutely blown away with the pictures he captured that we will have forever. Jason and his team have great character and energy and working with them was by far the best investment I made for our proposal day. Jason and Alex are fantastic. Jason gave me plenty of reassurance, advice, and even up-to-date knowledge about the location at which I planned to propose. He’s responsive, friendly, and very professional. Alex (the one who actually took the photos of the proposal) has this great energy and creativity that both my partner and I loved. I was initially hesitant to hire a total stranger to take a photo of this intimate moment, but Alex is simply amazing. The photos were incredible, romantic, and some were even funny. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Jason & his team helped me plan and immortalize my proposal in Chicago. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiry and worked with me to find the perfect spot to pop the question (and even included a back-up option in case of bad weather). I went for the candid route and the photographer Alex did a great job acting like a regular tourist before jumping into action and taking our pictures - and the pictures came out GREAT! Jason and his team were amazing! I had never been to Chicago and my now fiancé has always wanted to ice skate in Chicago. Given that i had never been there i had no idea of any special locations, time of day or even time of year for my engagement proposal. Once i had set off early December, Jason lead me down the right path and everything was flawless. Not only did he give me suggestions but he spent valuable one-on-one time with me over the phone, made detailed suggestions, sent photos of previous engagements, kept up with weather reporting, created a backup plan and even suggested the perfect restaurant and photo location. Jason (and Alex) were an absolute blast to work with for our wedding at the Rookery. The pictures we got were absolutely breathtaking, and they both did such a fantastic job. We picked Jason immediately after seeing his previous photos at The Rookery and knew he’d be the perfect photographer for our wedding. A couple of days before our wedding, Jason reached out to us about possible rain and came up with several alternate options for our first look and other photos since we couldn’t be outside. Jason is very responsive and respectful, and will do everything he can to make your wedding an experience to remember. We also had Jason take some engagement photos, and we were so happy with how those turned out. Book Jason as soon as you can for your wedding – you will be floored with his beautiful work!

Jason was phenomenal. We had a rainy day in Chicago when we visited. I was told he worked with my fiancé all day figuring out the best location for us that wouldn't be too rainy but still would have beautiful views of the city. A last minute decision on location was made and apparently Jason showed up within 30 minutes and waited for us in the rain. Fortunately, the rain stopped just in time. I was taken by complete surprise. Jason was there to make our special moment something we'll be able to remember forever. We were lucky enough to have Jason and Alex capture our engagement (Chicago 2019) and destination wedding (Mexico 2021)! They were dedicated to not only capturing amazing photos, but making sure our wedding weekend in Mexico was perfect. Jason coordinated behind the scenes with our wedding planner and was prompt to respond to communication leading up to the big day. Jason couldn’t have been a better photographer. Our photos turned out beautiful and unique. I had specifically asked for some artsy and unique shots and he delivered- big time! He shot at a venue he hadn’t before and you would have thought it was his 100th wedding there, he has a great eye for capturing the most important moments with an artistic flare. We had some really cool silhouette shots, reflections, wide angle, overhead shots- this man does it all!! Including beautiful and classic family portraits that are bright and clear. We worked with Jason and his assistant, Alex, for our engagement photos in August 2020 and for our wedding in October 2021. They were both excellent and took some amazing shots. My partner and I aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera, and they gave us great instructions to create engaging photos. Our engagement photos turned out fantastic, and we can’t wait to see our wedding photos! We highly recommend Jason and his team for your wedding photography!

I worked with Jason to photograph my Proposal and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. They worked with me on every aspect of the proposal and even offered some great options for how to do it and to keep it a surprise for my Fiancée. During the proposal itself, they even took a video on my phone and were able to capture the moment itself amazingly well. When I reached out to Jason, I was stressed and in disarray, I had been looking for a proposal photographer for weeks. I was planning super far in advance of the proposal, so I could get it just right, and all the other photographers were not responsive or comforting, then I got in contact with Jason. It really turned my entire proposal into an enjoyable and exciting experience, he sat down and asked me about all of it, whether he was taking photos or not, he wanted to hear about the ideas and validate or improve upon what I had planned in my head. Jason was in contact about the photos, venue, weather, flowers, music, and everything else. I truly couldn't have felt more comfortable going into this proposal and definitely wouldn't have been able to pull it off without Jason (and his wife). From his work you can tell how much he loves what he does and how talented and passionate he is about capturing the love between two people. He genuinely cares for each and every couple he works with and makes sure they feel comfortable in front of the camera. His pictures truly left us speechless and wanting every single picture printed and hung up. Jason made both days of the photoshoot fun and we definitely had a blast through the whole photoshoot. Jason will go above and beyond your expectations. He is not one that is in the business for money but rather to make new friends and capture a beautiful moment. Jason is a phenomenal photographer, but more importantly, a phenomenal person. We were blown away by his talent after he shot my best friend's wedding, and knew we had to have him. I got married in June amid the pandemic. Plans were changing by the day, and Jason was on point with his communication. He gave us advice along the way. He truly cares for his clients like family.
