Jason and his team of professionals made my day incredibly easy and fun. His wife came with the groomsmen and myself and Jason went with my wife for the "before" photos. During the day they were the most professional and helpful people I've ever met. I really can't say enough about everything they did, from helping Sarah with her dress to putting on the guy's flowers. The photos speak for themselves when it comes to quality. You just can't find a better couple.

Jason is amazing!!! Everything he does is at the highest quality and his attention to detail is wonderful. He photographed our engagement photos and wedding day photos. He captured so many great photos and memories at our wedding day. He was open to our ideas for pictures. We also had a photo booth that was provided by Jason, it was so much fun and so many great props. I highly recommend Jason, he’s fun and professional to work with.

I cannot tell you how amazing these guys were to us on our wedding day! They were so professional and accommodating throughout my entire wedding, and so easy and amazing to work with. They arrived on time, and from the minute they arrived at our venue they made it all about my husband and I. They were so patient and made sure I got every picture with my groom that I envisioned. Jason and his wife Dawn make a great team, and Dawn followed me around all day making sure my dress and jewelry looked good in every shot. They were great with our wedding party and guests, and the overall experience working with them was unmatched. I am SO SO happy I chose them as our photographers, and coming from someone who is picky trust me when I say you cannot go wrong with Jason Lykins Photography and his team! Your pictures and experience will be amazing!

Photo booth was awesome!

We hired Jason for our wedding based on his photos but we were more impressed with his professionalism and ability to make us feel like we were the most important wedding he’s ever done. He took his time on everything he did, from the attention to detail in the engagement photos, to creating some amazing pictures that will help us remember the special day FOREVER!

Well, since Jason hasn’t responded to me since November 23 I figured maybe he will respond to this, as he has responded to several other negative reviews if you go through them all. When my husband and I first met Jason we loved his photographs, packages, and his personality. We felt confident in our choice. He did our engagement pictures and we loved them. He got them back to us in a timely manner. He contacted me 11 days before our wedding stating that he had an issue come up and he wouldn’t be able to photograph our wedding. He stated he would have his “A team” shoot the wedding. He stated he would give us a $1599 credit to purchase product from his shop for the trouble. We were bummed that Jason wasn’t going to be able to photograph our wedding but understood that things come up and hoped that the 2 photographers he sent in his place would do a good job. We were extremely disappointed. The photographers he sent were a husband and wife team. They arrived to get pictures of the girls getting ready. The male photographer was the only one taking pictures, which was fine, there wasn’t too much going on at that time. However, he asked his female partner to take a picture and she flat out said no. During bridal party pictures I had to keep asking him to take more pictures, he would snap a few and then just stand around. Then later at the reception a bridesmaid and a few guests overheard them fighting and screaming at each other. I did not see the female photographer pick up a camera ONE TIME. We were supposed to have TWO photographers, not a couple making out and then screaming at each other. I will state that she did sit at the photo booth and took pictures while the male photographer took candid dance photos, but that was the most she did the whole day. My husband and I were frustrated but decided we would wait to express our concerns with Jason after we see the pictures. I convinced myself that maybe it wasn’t so bad, and I’d love the pictures. Jason stated he would still edit the pictures. The contract stated we would get a preview no later than 7 days after the wedding I had to email Jason on day 11 asking for the preview, he put them up on day 12. The contract stated we would get all of our wedding pictures no later than 30 days from the wedding, I had to contact Jason on day 33 for him to get them to me on day 39. In his contract it also stated that we would get between 1300 and 2200 images. We only had 875 pictures. Jason didn't follow his contract or keep up communication. I am so unsatisfied with my wedding pictures and the whole process I get a pit in my stomach when I think about it. I did my research on Jason, he seemed like a great photographer who gets back to you quickly and had good work. However, if you look at a few more recent reviews there are negative ones. Brides beware, pictures are SO important in a wedding and it is my biggest wedding regret to hire Jason. When we met with Jason to get the flash drive of the wedding photos we expressed all of our concerns. He apologized and stated he would give us more credit to order photos. I really don’t like many photos so we stated we would rather have the refund back ($500) and don’t want to use the $1599 credit for pictures. Jason agreed to give us a check for $1,000 and have a $250 credit for pictures. He asked for me to give him our address and what pictures we want ordered. I have sent him 4 emails, 2 text messages, and 1 call . He has yet to respond to any.

All I can think of is AMAZING! I had high expectations of my wedding photos when we hired Jason and his team, and they delivered. From getting ready, to pictures with my husband, to shots at the reception, we don't feel like there could be anything better that this. The professionalism of his staff (even after the bridal party was a little enamored and acting crazy) was always top notch and on point. If you make an investment on anything when it comes to your wedding, invest in Jason Lykins Photography.

When I first met Jason, I thought wow I was going to have great pictures of my wedding and his package was very inclusive, including two photographers, a photo booth, engagement session, engagement book and wedding book. The engagement session was great and we got great pictures. It was a bit different on the wedding day. Being the bride on the wedding day I was very forgetful and didn't realize I had didn't have pictures of key people involved in my wedding. Also he tried to do his candid first dance shot and faced towards the door of the reception hall instead of the cool background and never got a good first dance shot. I will give credit to a few good pictures I did get. But here it is a year and a half later and I still have never received my wedding album that was included. I am no longer getting responses from him. I did not get what I paid for and very upset. On top of all that....he was busy flirting with my sister and other women trying to hook up later that night....in which he was unsuccessful.

Wow! That's what comes to mind when I think of our wedding day. We spent what felt like forever planning. Going over every single detail. Making sure that we had the right people in place to make our day not only special but lasting. We found Jason Lykins Photography through a friend in Cincinnati that had gotten married a year prior and used him. I was a bit apprehensive at first about bringing a photographer from Cincinnati to Chicago but it turned out to be the best vendor choice that we could have made. Jason not only provided stunning photos, but he also provided something that can't be overstated, peace of mind. From the time he arrived for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding all of the way through our album selection and delivery he has to be one of the most professional people we've met when it comes to weddings. The day of the wedding Jason and his team helped the day go smoothly with their knowledge of weddings and the wedding day as a whole. The Photo booth. Still a year later my friends talk about how much fun the photo booth was at our wedding. The LOVED being able to share the photos online without having to take a picture of a picture with their cell phones and instead just pulling the photos from the link that he provided on the cards to all that came through the booth. It was a big hit! Over all I have to say that I can't recommend them enough. My sister is now going to use him for her wedding and if you enjoy quality photos, professionalism, and a good time, you should use him too!

Unfortunately over 5 months after our wedding Mr. Lykins has not yet provided our wedding video. He told us 6 weeks ago we would have it and has since stopped responding to emails or phone. We made the mistake of paying up front for a discount, thinking that since we had the contract we would be ok. He also requested a hot meal the night of the reception and we were charged $107 for it. He stated to our wedding planner "it was in the contract" which it was not. We had already provided boxed meals, so we got charged twice. In addition he did not take all of the photos we requested of him. The bride has no photos of her with her bridesmaids or maid of honor or the family photos that were requested. We constantly had to prompt him to verify any details. The videographer was switched without our knowledge or notice. Not a big deal, but a courtesy notification would have been nice. We also paid for a photo booth, including prints the night of. There was no printer and no explanation. The bride had to hand write his facebook page into the thank you cards so people would know where to get them. We had planned to discuss these issues with him after receiving the video to come to an amicable solution, however, as stated above he has stopped responding to email or phone. I am writing this review now in the hopes it will spur him to complete what we paid him to do over 6 months ago. I will update accordingly.

Where to start!? Jason is an amazing photographer and his skill is fantastic. He goes above and beyond and is with you every step of the way. He is super easy to talk to and get a hold of. My husband and I suck at posing or knowing what to do and we told Jason this, so he helped us with all that for every photo which we were oh so grateful for! Jason has many different package sizes for what any couple is looking for from very basic to the works. We chose one of the higher packages but got everything we wanted and it was well worth the price. There are cheaper photographers out there but you wont get the same quality and experience that Jason can provide to you. Your wedding photos will last a life time so to me we were going to spend the extra money on fabulous masterpieces that Jason could give us. Check out his website to see how neat some of his photos turn out. He really knows his stuff. We did our engagement photos and our wedding day with Jason and everything we have seen so far it breathtaking. I highly recommend Jason Lykins as your photographer for any of you photo worthy needs!! He is such a pleasure to work with. Oh bonus!! We used his photobooth at the wedding and it was the best hit ever!! Everybody is raving about it.

My wife and I can't say enough about Jason Lykins Photography. I don't like having my picture taken (it's not that I'm shy or think I'm ugly, I just don't feel comfortable in front of the camera) but after our engagement session I was confident that Jason "had my back". I loosened up throughout the engagement session and by the end I was really enjoying myself. Fast forward to the wedding photos and that comfort made all of the difference in the world. I couldn't be more pleased with the photos and our experience. On the finance side (I'm in finance so this is important to me) I am really pleased with the value we got. Jason isn't cheap but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". The quality and level of service justifies the cost. On top of that he included a photo booth for free! Who does that? That saved us quite a bit of money by not having to rent one. You should REALLY give Jason a call.

We first saw Jason's work by chance in the New York Times last year. He had done the wedding for a really prominent family in New York and it was on the cover of the lifestyle section. We met Jason for the first time and we knew immediately that he was for us. His professional demeanor and his ability to really capture our special moments make me the happiest bride in the world. I have recommended him to many of my friend's that are getting married and I'm telling you the same thing that I tell them when I say "you have to meet him"!

I can't say enough about Jason and his team! From the engagement session to the wedding day photos he put both myself and my husband at ease. Light hearted banter mixed with obvious control of the situation photographically made for some of the best photos I've ever taken!! When we got to the reception our guests couldn't get enough of the photobooth that he provided FOR FREE!! Overall I can't recommend him enough!

Jason was amazing. From our engagement photos and our wedding day, it was perfect! He got amazing pictures and were so excited to see them!!

I was impressed when I first reached out to Jason via email about doing our wedding photos. He responded right away and was available to meet us that same day. He was professional, very easy to get along with and had a good sense of humor. It felt like we made a new friend! Jason was flexible in allowing us to tweak the packages in order to get one that best fit our needs. He was also flexible around scheduling our engagement session and was even available to take photos at one of my bridal showers. That was awesome because not only did he capture some great shots, but I asked him to shoot the photos last minute and he made it happen!!! He was sure to follow whatever timeline we needed the day of and made sure that our needs were met as for the 2nd photographer being where we most wanted/needed her. The day of the wedding he was available as early as we needed him to be and showed up promptly. The photo booth was awesome and captured so many photos that otherwise would have been missed. Speaking of missed photos, the ONLY reason I did not give all stars in my review is due to missing what I felt were very important shots of the wedding party when we went off site to get photos. I made sure to give him a list of what I wanted knowing that he likely wouldn't capture ALL of them, but I did expect at least half of them to be captured. A few others were missed such as those of our rings and my shoes but he was quick to agree to get those shots for us without any hesitation. I should add that my brother in law was quite disruptive during the group photo session and I know this made things challenging. However, I asked Jason to be the boss and tell people what they needed to do/where to be, etc., in order to get what I wanted. Our group was large, loud and ready to party, which meant that we simply needed him to be more assertive in order to get as many photos from my list as possible. We also did not get many photos from the 2nd photographer (she was with the men) because the men weren't being cooperative. However, I feel that perhaps she too could have been more assertive in order to get the job done. I asked Jason in the beginning of the process who would be present to make sure things like my dress were picture perfect and he assured me that would be his role. A few photos of me and my husband are absolutely perfect EXCEPT the fact that my dress wasn't laying appropriately. Given the limited number of photos at this site, it meant that pretty much every photo or series of those (same pose) photos were that much more important. I hate to sound like a stickler but I feel that since it was something so important yet simple, that it should have been caught and fixed. My dress was pretty big and high maintenance!!! I trusted that it was looking it's best for those shots. That being said, this was of course MOH's duty but I just wish Jason would have had her or someone else fix this. All of this being said, I want to reiterate that Jason does excellent work and there are MANY photos that ARE picture perfect! He did a great job being on top of things as for making sure to be in the right place at the right time. I love that so many candid memories are captured!!! It's strange because I don't recall seeing Jason the majority of the night - he stays incognito while shooting away! The man has an excellent eye, that's for sure! We would definitely recommend Jason Lykins to any couple and overall we are very pleased with his service!!!

Jason did a great job catching the small little moments along with huge moments. He was very open minded and had great visions. I would recommend Jason Lykins Photography for upcoming brides.

Jason Lykins Photography definitely wins my vote for best value and quality. You'll find photographers at similar price points, but what differentiates Jason's service are A) unlimited time during your wedding and B) a super fun photo booth for your guests. You'll find photographers who charge the same price but they'll say only 7-8 hours (for example), or if you want a photo booth, you'll need to go book one as an entirely separate service. Why not get it all in 1 place? :) Jason has a very pleasant demeanor and was generally very responsive. He can get super busy though (wedding season, of course), so it took us a little time to schedule our engagement session. While we expected to get our photos sooner than we actually did, we were very pleased with Jason's work. Very much looking forward to seeing the rest of our pictures from our wedding day!

Jason by far exceeded our expectations. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and knew exactly how to capture those perfect moments throughout the day that made our wedding so special. We would definitely recommend Jason to other brides, grooms and their families. He was able to capture the memories that will last us a lifetime!!!

Although I live (and got married in St. Louis, MO), I had to have Jason as our wedding photographer! Based on his portfolio and professional attitude over the phone, I knew Jason was the best fit to capture our special day - even after interviewing many local photographers. When we meet the day of my wedding in May 2015, it seemed as if I knew Jason for years and loved that it wasn't weird or awkward when posing for pictures. He made everyone in the bridal party feel natural and was truly able to get those precious candid images. I was extremely pleased with how professional, organized and creative he was throughout the day. Couldn't help but cry when viewing our photos (which came in a precious little box) because of how well done they were! I'm really thankful he made arrangements to travel to a different state just to be our photographer. Thank you again so much Jason!

Jason was an amazing photographer, and we were very happy we picked him for our special day! He spent a lot of time with us for our engagement photos, and was super helpful throughout the process. When I set out to find a wedding photographer I had no idea what I was looking for, I clicked through many web pages of the large companies and even some of the small photo houses in the area. Upon coming across Jason Lykins photography I can't say exactly why I chose him, it just seemed like I good fit. I couldn't have been more right! Jason was very helpful from the very beginning until the very end. He was able to capture moments that I didn't even know happened at my wedding. In the small amount of time we had for our "official" photos he kept everybody organized and happy in order to get the best shots. He continued to throw out ideas of his own as well as capture the ones we wanted. As an added bonus he sets up a photobooth for your reception, and not just the do it yourself booth but a fully interactive, standing, manned booth with large props. The photo booth photos were taken with a high quality camera so your "fun" photos of the day are great quality and not low res images from a webcam. One of my favorite parts of the evening was, he came over during dinner with an iPad to "instantly reminisce" with us some of the best shots of the day so far. In a digital photography world where we take photos and need to view it right away to make sure it's good... this was a great added touch. All in all I was very happy with the value and quality of service I received from Jason Lykins Photography. Finding a good photographer is like finding a good mechanic, someone who is going to do good quality work and not try to take advantage of your pocket book, when you find one you keep going back! That being said, I think I've found the photographer I will continue to use throughout life to capture all the moments I truly want to remember.

Jason and Dawn were great to work with! We felt that it went smoothly day of, and what we liked most was that they not only fit in with our plans we had in place, but they added to the fun! Sometimes photographers interfere with weddings, but Jason was GREAT! The sneak peek shots thus far look awesome!

Jason and his crew were very friendly and efficient throughout our wedding day. He had photo previews available to see during our reception on his iPad. He even brought personalized props for a live photo booth per our request. His photo packages are really affordable and he usually answered any questions that came up throughout wedding planning within a days time.

Our wedding was huge. We had nearly 500 guests. Jason took 5000 pics by the end of the night. I love how he captured moments that night that mean so much. He was aware of everything going on, no matter where it was happening. He was conscious of all surroundings and didn't miss a beat. The lighting on the pictures were amazing and he's definitely a people person. He makes the experience entirely about YOU!!!

Jason Lykins Photography was honestly my favorite vendor of my entire wedding. He not only took amazing pictures of my wedding day but he made sure I was completely stress free. My husband is not the type to pose and be the center of attention, however, Jason made it so easy for him to be comfortable. The quality of products he produced exceeded beyond my expectations. My husband and I hired Jason through The Pros. I would not recommend The Pros but Jason is a great guy to work with and I would recommend hiring him for your photography needs. Be sure to have a plan for which groups of pictures you want and poses. Jason has a few ideas but there are some poses I see now I wish I had thought of. Overall, I was very happy to receive so many photos of my big day and he did a nice job of capturing the photos I had in mind.

Jason did an amazing job with our Wedding photos! He is so personable and easy to work with. We received 4,000 photos from our wedding, including at least 400 photos from the live photo booth at our reception. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Cincinnati or Dayton area.

This photographer did a phenomenal job! My package included an engagement shoot and all day photography the day of my wedding. I used him initially because I was in a friend's wedding that he did. He blew me away the day of my wedding with how prepared he was and how he truly made a personal connection with myself and all the bridesmaids and my mother. I would recommend him to anyone at all! He makes your wedding day an amazing experience! The end product of all of my photos were so fantastic. I wish I could add in a picture! Please guys use Jason! He's so great:)

My wedding day was amazing and a large part of that is the fact that I had a photographer that was full vested!!! Jason was amazing from beginning to end and I would tell you that was a huge help with the outcome of the wedding. Jason kept things moving and helped direct people and keep us in a realistic time frame. The suggestions he made for pictures turned out amazing!! I have so many wonderful pictures of my family and friends that I will be working on my scrape book all through the winter. I would tell all my friends and family to use him.

Jason is an awesome photographer! He traveled all the way to Indianapolis just to capture mine and my husband's special day! He was on point and well prepared. He captured beautiful moments on our day that I'm not sure anyone else was quite capable of doing. He was by far my favorite vendor.

My husband and I had a photographer picked out prior to learning about Jason. They canceled on us just a few months before our wedding. Needless to say, I was worried sick. A photographer was one of my wedding day must haves and I was worried I would only find someone with little to no experience in the field given the small amount of time I had left before the big day. I found Jason through an online search of photographers in our area and looked through his online galleries. We were very impressed with his photos and experience. I knew right away that I had to contact him. I explained to him our predicament and hoped he would be able to fit us in to his schedule. Lucky for us, he was able to squeeze us in. The cancelation of our previous photographer, turned out to be a blessing for us. I could not be happier with how our big day went. Jason met up with us at various locations throughout the morning as we got ready. After our "first look", which I highly recommend by the way, he took us to places around our town for more photos. He had a lot of great ideas, and always made my wedding party feel comfortable and relaxed. He didn't try to rush us and he listened to our ideas as well. Jason captured all of the most important moments of the day and into the evening without being pushy or overbearing. He did not make us pose every five minutes and allowed us to really enjoy our day. Midway through our reception, we were able to get a sneak peek of what he had taken so far. I was really impressed by this. I don't think many photographers do that. I am also sure that most photographers don't come quite as prepared as Jason either. Now that my wedding day has come and gone, and I have gotten all of my photos, as well as a beautiful photo book also made by Jason, I am so greatful that things worked out like they did. I cannot say enough great things about this photographer.I would, and always do, highly recommend Jason Lykins to any bride-to-be looking for someone to beautifully capture their most important day.

I was referred to Jason so I already had a good feeling about working with him, but my initial contact with him proved that he was the photographer for us! The first time I sent him an email inquiring about his services, he responded immediately and was very professional. I had been searching high and low to find a photographer that could give us what we wanted within our budget. He promised me that he could give me what we wanted within our budget-and he did just that! I met with him after exchanging several emails and I was ecstatic to get to see some of his photography work-which is amazing!! We also discussed what was important to us about our wedding from a photography stand point and our budget. He was so very flexible, I was shocked! It was effortless to work with Jason throughout the remainder of our wedding process. We got AWESOME engagement shots-including one in the middle of a lit bridge at night (while the bridge was opened to cars mind you). He went to great lengths to get shots that were incredible and also worked to get shots that he knew we wanted! From this, we got a remarkable engagement book that doubled as our guest book-which I cannot stop looking at! As for the day of our wedding, I cannot say enough about Jason’s hard work! When he arrived, he had brought me my favorite drink from Starbucks! He was with the girls for hours while we were getting ready, but never got in the way once. He used his extraordinary skill to get shots I was not even aware he was taking. When my bridesmaids decided they were hungry, he offered up his keys for the girls to go get lunch in his car! He even hooked up his stereo system and playlist for us to listen to tunes as we got ready! We were married outdoors and immediately following our ceremony was a downpour of rain. Even with clouds in sight, Jason worked quickly and was focused to capture stunning photos. Not to mention, he saved the day in our reception tent when he used his camera umbrella to catch the rain coming through the leak in our tent right over the DJs equipment! All photographs-before, during and after our ceremony are just to die for! They are absolutely gorgeous and just depict the beauty our day held! He has such remarkable skill, but you can clearly see he was much more than just a photographer to us on our wedding day! I cannot say enough about his work and would highly, highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

I could have never asked for a better photography for my special day. Jason is is an awesome person ontop of being an awesome photographer! Jason gave 100% and did an amazing job makes sure to capture what you want and how you want it. Interacted wonderfully withall of our guests. We received several compliments on how friendly he was and how great our sneak peaks were! We can't wait to see the rest of them!

When I was searching for photographers, I came across Jason's work,loved it, and lucky for me he was available! I love how our pictures turned out. He is a great photographer, and such a nice guy I asked him to do our maternity pictures as well! I would highly recommend him.

Jason Lykins Photography made my wedding photos something my wife and I enjoy having around the house and ones we will cherish for years. His professional approach to our wedding was phenomenal. He took care of all of the small detail photos as well as the large group photos with style and panache. He is not pushy, yet maintains control of the situations where he is in charge. His style fit exactly what we wanted. When the wedding was over, he was timely in the prints digital images as promised. I cannot think of selecting anyone else to take photos of one of the most important days of my life.

Let me just say that Jason was the perfect choice for my wedding day! Jason spent the whole day taking pictures of my special day. From the makeup and hair appointment, the funny moments behind the scenes before I walked down the aisle, my groom seeing me for the first time, to our first dance as husband and wife...Jason captured every moment! The cd he gave me took almost an hour to go through because he never missed a beat! He even shows you how pictures turned out minutes after he's taken them on his Ipad! It's so awesome especially as a bride to know your pictures are turning out beautiful and you can trust that no important moments are being missed!

My wedding was March 30 and I was so lucky to get Jason from the Pros Wedding Services! His energy was amazing on the day of my wedding and he came prepared (even having the string to sew one of my bridesmaid dresses together when her zipper broke)! Throughout the day I knew the pictures he was taking would be good just by seeing the different angles he was doing. But I saw just how great they were when we were eating dinner and I got to see some of them, on the wedding night! I highly recommend Jason for anyone who wants to remember every moment of their special day!
