I cannot recommend Jay enough. Not only is she a great photographer, she's also a delightful person. Since booking her, she gave a great advice for locations for the first look and just general logistics for the day-of things.
I got married in Grand Teton National Park during the first couple weeks of the current government shutdown (10/11/25) and Jay sent an email reassuring me that the parks were still open and we shouldn't have any issues with our ceremony. This email definitely helped calmed my nerves surrounding the situation. It was such a nice, thoughtful thing to do.
Day of, Jay was so easy and fun to work with! From the first look to the couple photos after the ceremony, she suggested poses for us to do while constantly hyping us up. She was also a trooper- our ceremony was during a thunderstorm and she didn't miss a beat- she was running around in the rain to get the best shots and did so wonderfully.
We got the Sneak Peak photos soon after and I'm still blown away. She captured the day so well with the lighting despite the rain/clouds and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos!! Definitely recommend Jay Photography. 10/10.
Jay captured our July wedding in the Bridger-Teton Forest overlooking the Grand Teton mountain range and wow did those photos take my breath away! Jay was easy to reach out to, and very responsive! My husband and I live out of state and she ensured we spoke multiple times over the phone (before meeting in person the week of) to discuss details of photos, arrange family photo lists and other small details to make our wedding day go smoothly.
Our entire family and friend group said Jay was amazing to work with!
Jay went the extra mile making our day special from helping with driving logistics in the mountains to having umbrellas on hand for the downpour of rain during our ceremony! Ha! She was amazing and we would 100% recommend Jay Nel-McIntosh Photography to anyone.

Originally from Canada, at the age of 13 my grandmother gave me my first camera for a family trip to South Africa, which shaped my whole future. That first big international trip gave me insight into how differently people live, to the power of nature, and to a bond over capturing it through photography with with my grandma.
Having now traveled to over 45 countries, studying photojournalism and working as a news photographer in Australia, my camera has become a tool for connecting to people and and culture. It has been a way of sharing experiences with others, and preserving memories.
