AMAZING BRIDAL SALON! They were so helpful with helping me find the perfect dress and veil. They were always on top of appointments and scheduling. Kay, the seamstress made the perfect alterations to my dress. The staff felt like good friends by the time we picked up my dress! Highly Recommend!

Having bought dresses from them before was very excited to go get my wedding dress and brides maids dresses with my bridesmaids but they refused to allow my bridesmaids most of whom were coming out of state to be there for dress shopping. They didn’t care and were very rude and unfriendly don’t shop here much better bridal shops out there who care bout there customers

I had the BEST experience at Jay West! Kay did an absolute amazing job on my dress! I had fallen in love with a strapless, sweetheart mermaid gown but had my heart set on adding sleeves. Kay is an absolute miracle worker and was able to creat an arm hole and add the most gorgeous sleeves that made the dress absolutely perfect!!!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and my dress was stunning!

I grew up working in Haddonfield and never would have guessed in a million years that I would have bought my wedding dress there. Janet was so helpful! I had already been to three other stores and had Janet understood that I already knew what I did and didn't like. She helped pull great dresses and made sure I stayed on budget. The first dress I tried on there ended up being the one, a beautiful Justin Alexander dress that had just arrived the day before. Justin Alexander was my dream designer and I never thought I'd find one of his designs in my budget. Thanks to Janet and everyone else at Jay West!

Very helpful with finding a dress that fit me. Scheduling alterations at the boutique was not easy as a lived an hour away and the only had appointments Tuesday through Thursday at night.

I would highly recommend Jay West to everyone! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You can tell they love what they do and they make you feel special each and every time you walk through the door. I was super indecisive when it came down to choosing THE dress. I probably went to 10 bridal salons and I even had 2 different appointments to looks for dresses at Jay West. During my appointments at Jay West, I can’t even tell you the number of dresses I tried on and they never seemed impatient with me (and I honestly couldn’t have blamed them if they were, I was getting pretty impatient with myself!). Once I found the one, it was a seamless and stress-free experience. Their seamstress, Kay, was a joy to work with. There were minor changes I wanted to make to the dress, and she executed them perfectly. I cannot thank Jay West enough for perfecting my ideal bridal look. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I think everyone deserves to feel that way, so thank you Jay West!

I bought my dress from Jay West for my wedding that was on August 9th, 2019 at The Pen Ryn Estate. My dress is Essense of Australia Style #D2525, formal A-Line, sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder. I bought my dress in August of 2018 during the Summer sale. From the very beginning, the staff at Jay West was very kind, welcoming, professional, & extremely knowledgeable about bridal gowns. Jay West was the first bridal boutique that my family & I looked at for gowns, & we had a wonderful experience. They listened to my ideas & vision of my dress & helped me stick to my budget. After not having success with the first few dresses that were in budget, Patti asked if it was okay that she pulls a dress a little out of budget). It was the most beautiful dress that fit my body perfectly. Patti truly knew the type of dress I was looking for & I’m glad she pulled it. That takes a lot of skill & I really appreciated that. The dress really wasn’t that much over budget & my mom was so incredibly generous to buy it for me. I am forever grateful for that & that she also paid for the alterations. The staff at Jay West was always so accommodating to my family. I have a sister who is in a wheelchair & requires assistance getting up & down stairs. They were always helpful & accommodating. I didn’t always go downstairs for dress fittings & appointments. They would let us go to one of the fitting rooms upstairs instead of going downstairs. The staff remembered me & my family & always made a fuss when we go in. It was really nice to always be welcomed with a smile. My bridesmaids ordered their bridesmaid dresses at Jay West too. Janet was very helpful in helping us figure out what dresses I wanted & gave me great ideas. I wanted my bridesmaids to choose a dress that was comfortable for them, so she advised me that I give everyone a couple options which worked out well. She also helped me come to a decision on the color of my dresses. I was indecisive on colors & she gave me the idea to go with long black. It was the best decision! My alterations were done by Kay & she did an incredible job. She had to shorten it and take it in since I was losing weight & did that with no problems. She was so sweet throughout the entire process & made me feel comfortable each time. Kay also was happy to create a veil for me from my mom’s original veil. She did an amazing job & the veil is something I’ll cherish forever. Thank you to Kay for all the alternations you did for my dress & for creating the veil. I am still receiving so many compliments on my dress & how well it fit me. It is the most beautiful dress ever! Thank you to Melissa & Sue for helping me get my dress ready & helping me put it into my car when I picked it up for the wedding. I picked it up the day before because at my last official fitting, the sleeves needed a little extra altering & Kay was happy to do quickly, making every little detail perfect. I had such a great overall experience at Jay West & am proud to have gotten my dress from this local boutique. Their customer service is excellent – answering phones promptly & making sure all my questions/needs are met. I would recommend Jay West to anyone. You certainly will not be disappointed in the great quality of wedding gowns & the customer service. From the moment I walked into Jay West I felt completely at ease!! Melissa was absolutely wonderful to work with she was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. They had an incredible selection of bridal gowns. After I purchased my gown and veil they continued to exceed in customer service! They scheduled the fittings when it was convenient for me and went above and beyond to fit me in for EXTRA fittings (i lost 30 lbs in between buying my dress and my wedding day). Kay was incredible and truly made my gown fit me perfectly. I highly recommend this dress shop and they truly gave me the ultimate bridal experience!

Jay West was amazing! They were so helpful when shopping for my wedding dress. Once I settled on my dress, they were great with finding accessories, and telling me the truth if something didn't match well. They were also very helpful with exchanges when I purchased jewelry and then wanted to switch them a few months later. Kay, the seamstress is AMAZING. She really can transform anything, and very quickly. She was super helpful and worked with my schedule (I live in NYC and could only come down at certain times). She was also great with helping my mom recreate a dress she had purchased. They also have a great preservation service, they clean the dress and ship it to your house for you! I highly recommend buying your dress at Jay West!

Amazing Experience After booking an appt at a different shop and not finding the wedding dress of my dreams me, my mom and two sister decided to take a chance and walk down to Jay West on a Saturday. Within minutes we were greeted and we explained to them we did not have an appt. The women told us to give her a few minutes to see how busy they were and would let us know if they could assist us. We ended up being helped by Sue. Sue was amazing, attentive, and personable. She was witty and full of positive energy. Never once did I feel rushed and she was so helpful and supportive in picking the perfect gown. She even had me take some dresses off immediately because we both knew they were a no go. I can not recommend sue and jay west any more!!! Thank you for helping me find my wedding dress!!

Jay West was the best bridal salon I went to- I only went to a few but it by far outnumbered the others that I visited. The staff was extremely accommodating and flexible. I felt like the staff really enjoyed what they do as well. Once I found my dress at one of their trunk shows they worked with me to be sure it was perfect on wedding day. The seamstress that works with them was great and perfected the dress. I would definitely recommend jay west to check out for your bridal needs!

One of the more exciting yet potentially difficult things as a bride is finding your dress! I wanted to find something that suited me without all the fuss (not my style). Jay West was the absolute perfect bridal shop. If you make an appointment be sure to ask for Melissa. Of all the bridal shop attendants I worked with, she was by far superior in quickly understanding what I was looking for and provided dresses that worked with my style and were in my price range. She made me feel special yet comfortable. No, they’re not the type of shop that will start screaming when you do say yes to the dress but they still make you special and will ensure that you receive everything you need to make your day perfect. Melissa connected me with a jeweler who custom made a bracelet and earrings to match my dress and my grandmother’s necklace I wanted to wear which added a special touch to my entire outfit. An understated piece in all bride’s outfits is the veil; Jay West had many options to help me find one that flowed perfectly with the pattern in my dress! Overall, I was so pleased I went back and my bridesmaids purchased their GORGEOUS dresses from there as well. Even through the one or two issues/emergencies we had Jay West worked through everything professional and promptly fixed the issues.

I only give a lower rating because of a last minute incident we had with Jay West. I ordered my veil a month or so out and was told I can pick it up along with my dress the week before the wedding. When that day came, the woman there tried giving me my dress without trying on (The alterations were due to be done by that day, not before) and my veil was nowhere to be found. When it was finally found, it was the wrong size (too short). It ended up being a mistake on my information card they had for me (our saleswoman miswrote it), but other than having the wrong veil the woman got nasty, blaming us. I ended up having to buy a new veil.

Right from the start Jay West was very helpful in helping me find my perfect dress. Only thing I knew I wanted was a ballroom gown dress but that was it. They handed me a number of dresses with all kinds of styles and asked me what I liked or didn't like about each dress I tried on. Once they had a good idea of what I liked they came back with my dress. Everyone made a big deal about me in each dress and even more so when I tried on my dress. It really made me feel very special. Once I bought the dress I was told they would keep the dress until days before the wedding which was a huge help and relief. They also had someone who could alter my dress right in the store so I did not have to worry about finding someone. When I did come for my dress fitting they made sure my man of honor was apart of the dress fitting. Even after my wedding I am able to take my dress back to Jay West for them to send my dress out to be cleaned and repaired. They are so helpful and their dresses are beautiful! My mom got her dress at Jay West as well and they took their time with her and were just as helpful with her! The night I picked up my dress and my mom's dress, they helped me load my dress in my car. My mom's dress was not at the store and they called the seamstress right away. The seamstress delivered my mom's dress right to my house within 2 hours and apologized, she still had to steam the dress. I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride!

I bought my wedding gown here in April 2017 for my wedding in May 2018. I had gone a few other places and I still wasn't too sure exactly what I wanted when I arrived. They were great in allowing me to pick any dress I wanted to try on and helped me to get them on and zipped etc. The other places I went to were very pushy with sales and exaggerated every dress I put on with an "OMG YOU LOOK AMAZING" when I looked, well, not amazing! When I was at Jay West they let me and my mom observe the dress without being pushy. I was between two different dresses when I was there and they didn't care that I had to put each of them on a few different times to compare them (I am indecisive!). The alterations were not too expensive, exactly what I was expecting them to be and I never had an issue. I highly recommend Jay West!

When I first got engaged the first place i started was decided on my dress at Jay West. I explained what I wanted and they knew exactly the dress for me. Then when I changed from a beach wedding to a Christmas wedding they were able to make a seamless transition with my already purchased dress helping my brain complete my dream and calm my nerves. Thank you so much for a wedding dress that was absolutely perfect and one that people are still talking about.

We had an amazing day at Jay West Bridal!! Carol Assisted my daughter picking out dresses and was so patient and full of funny stories. She really made the day relaxing and fun. And at the end of the day my daughter said yes to the dress!! Thank you Carol!!

Jay West was the first bridal shop I went to when I was searching for a dress and ultimately the place I bought my dress from. They are a smaller boutique but with an array of beautiful dresses. I knew I wanted a long sleeve wedding dress but did not think it would be possible to find. I found the most amazing LillianWest dress that myself and all of my guests were in love with. The employees were wonderful and my alterations were perfect. I would definitely recommend stopping by this shop to look for a wedding dress.

This bridal salon is amazing. I found my dream wedding dress here after a really bad time at another salon. The staff was so helpful and nice. They really took their time to help me find the dress and veil I wanted as well as picking out bridesmaids dresses. Great selection and wonderful staff.

Absolutely loved my experience here! Unlike at other shops, the consultant brought me and my friends downstairs to pick out dresses I wanted to try on. They accommodated my mother who is handicapped and were helpful every step of the way. I found my dream dress and I am so thankful I have such a supportive team behind me! Thank you Jay West!

Highlight recommend. I heard great things about Jay West but was still skeptical going in, I'm not a girly girl and was scared I'd get pushed into something I didn't want. Boy was I wrong! The staff was amazing, Donna went above and beyond, she would suggest things without pushing and always offered new ideas. I had a certain look in mind but went outside that box and I'm glad I did because it allowed me to find the PERFECT dress. I never felt rushed or like I was bother as I had at other bridal salons. Will definitely be going back for my mom as well as flower girl dresses!

I was one of the brides affected by the Alfred Angelo closing. My dress was paid for and not shipped yet so the odds of delivery were/are slim. The day after finding this out, and in the height of Jay West's big bridal sale, Sue, the owner was truly an angel sent to me. She helped a crying puffy face version of me feel completely comfortable, and even smile. I was confident she would find the dress for me, and I'm glad I was. Sue & Justin the sales representative for Jason Alexander helped me find my true dream wedding dress(which wasn't Jason Alexander mind you). I love it even more than my prior dress. The best part was I had piece of mind because I could take the sample dress home with me, and it should be notes I am not a "sample size". Jay West has so much inventory, sizes, and styles for truly every woman, and an amazing staff. PLEASE try this bridal shop first in your search, I regret not going initially.

Beautiful selection of dresses within a large range of prices. They do not try to upsell you. They stick to dresses within your budget. Even though it was a bit busy on the weekends, I never had an issue with getting personal attention for trying on dresses and fittings etc. Just be sure to make an appointment. The dress alterations were done expertly and I had many compliments on my dress the day of the wedding. Highly recommend!!

I cannot put into words how appreciative I am of Jay West. We were not supposed to get married until November but my mom got sick. I was told no, no dress or bridesmaid dresses would come in on time. I called Jay West in tears and within 24 hours we had my dress and a selection of bridesmaid dresses to pick from - without having to settle or compromise. My mom passed, but she did get to see me in my wedding dress and enjoyed my special day with me!

I had such a great experience with Jay West. This may have been the 7th or 8th bridal boutique I tried, but the first one that made me feel completely at ease and comfortable! I was able to try on multiple dress styles within my budget and there was no pressure to decide right away. I came in a couple times with different groups and there was so much flexibility. When I made the decision on the dress, it was such a great moment & the ladies at Jay West made it feel so special. I had Kay do my alterations, and she was THE BEST!!! She listened to everything I wanted for my dress (and I was very particular with the bustle) and she used some magic to make everything look beautiful and exactly how I wanted it! Go to Jay West! Ask for Kay to do your alterations! You will not be disappointed!

We ordered bridesmaids dresses from Jay West and they encouraged each of the girls to come in to get measured to ensure the best fit. After going to the store in person which, for some of the bridesmaids who live out of state, was inconvenient, the result was that 8 0ut of 8 dresses fit incorrectly. All of the dresses were anywhere from 1-2 sizes too big, some even 3 sizes too big. When my friend and I spoke to the owner about the situation, she insisted that the dresses were sized correctly based on measurements and put the onus on us stating that the ultimate decision for size was ours. While the decision is up the customer, you tend to rely on a professional who is accustomed to the sizing and fit of particular designers that they sell and put weight in their recommendations. I was highly disappointed in the service and lack of accountability from the store owner. To have 8 girls sized incorrectly clearly indicates that you don't know the designer or that there is something inherently wrong in your methodology to go by the largest body measurement in your size recommendations. Although I am local, I will never go to Jay West for any dress needs again and will not recommend it to a friend.

DO NOT GO HERE! My dress came in, in the wrong size. They accused me of gaining weight. Then finally admitted their mistake and ordered me a second dress. The second dress came in fit perfectly for the most part, just needed to be taken in a little. Well, they put the first dress back in the bag after i tired it on and now I'm stuck with a dress that's two sizes too small and I'm 3 1/2 months out from my wedding.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!! I came in to look at wedding dresses without an appointment, and the woman I spoke to immediately dropped everything to help me. I showed her a couple pictures and she found the perfect dress on the first try, and helped me pick out my veil, earrings, and a headband. My dress fit perfectly after a little bit of altering (done through Jay West), and I was completely in love with it. My bridesmaids also got their dresses here and again it was so easy, fun, and we found exactly what we were looking for.

I recently went to Jay West to try on wedding dresses. From the moment I arrived I wanted to leave. My bridal party and I walked into to the store only to wait awkwardly in the small entryway for 15 minutes before anyone even greeted us. I understand that it was a Saturday afternoon and appointments back-up. As a bride I wouldn't want my appointment rushed just because another is coming in, all I ask is that you communicate this! Then when I met my consultant she acted like I was insane to show her my Pinterest board of dress ideas, she actually laughed at the suggestion. I thought this was helpful, as have the other consultants I have seen. Then she completely ignored what I showed and explained to her, only to walk me around the store pull every dress out and ask if I wanted to try it on or not. That was much more exhausting than it may sound. Having been to several other bridal stores I could not believe the dressing rooms, the ones at Gap are larger and WAY nicer. While trying on dresses she yanked me around and was quite dismissive of my bridal parties suggestions. Worse yet as I put on a few of the dresses before I could say anything she would say it didn't look good and that it didn't flatter my figure (for reference I wear a size 2). She made me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived and rushed the appointment, by the end I was happy she rushed it so I could just leave and never return. I would not recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend Jay West Bridal Shop. Jay West was a life saver... I live about an hour away in PA and when the dress shop I originally bought my dress from closed suddenly, I was told I would not get my dress as promised. Sue and Jay West came to the rescue! I called them because they carry the designer I bought my dress from and since that day they have gone out of their way to help make sure my wedding was everything I wanted. Sue worked with the designer to get my dress delivered to her shop in time for me to keep my fitting schedule. Also, the seamstress I worked with, Kay, was a magician... I opted to add sleeves to a strapless dress from extra lace with the only stipulation being that they not "look" like they were added. Kay managed to pull this off and went above and beyond making sure I was 100% happy with the dress. With the whole mess my dress situation turned into at one point, I feel fortunate that I ended up at Jay West. I was able to find stunning jewelry to go along with my dress too. Jay West went out of their way to help me, and as a result my dress was absolutely beautiful... I cannot thank them enough.

I had a amazing experience here! Cathy was incredibly helpful and sweet! I never felt pressured to buy or go above my budget. I have been to other places that made me feel pressured to buy right away. Cathy made sure that I was comfortable. She was very accommodating and informative. I ended up buying a beautiful wedding gown and I'm so excited to go back to the shop when it comes in to try it on!

When I had to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses, I knew just the place. My sister-in-law got her dress 5 years prior and two friends getting married before me also went to Jay West. Janet helped me, and she was amazing. I went in with a certain style in mind, but knew I had to keep my mind open. She pulled what I asked and other styles, as well. I was stuck between two dress, of course, both something completely different than my vision. I made a second appointment to bring friends to get their opinions, but knew when I left after the first time which one was mine. Janet also picked out the perfect veil to match. I did have a little trouble with alterations. The dress fit almost perfectly, but the seamstress said she would just take it in a hair. When I went back for the second fitting, it would barely zip and I could not breath, and I was hyperventilating, because it was so tight. The seamstress tried to tell me that I was fine and that she could stick her hand down the back of my dress. That annoyed me. But she pulled over a manager and she unzipped it just an inch and it was perfect. Needless to say I was so nervous going back for my thrid (and final) fitting. But it fit like a glove and everyone said my dress was stunning on my wedding day!

I purchased my wedding dress for my October wedding along with 13 bridesmaids dresses at Jay West. I had an awesome experience! The staff was very helpful and went above to help me throughout my journey. I would recommend Jay West for bridal needs.

I had read mixed reviews of Jay West, but I had a great experience! I purchased my dress in November 2014, for my October 2015 wedding. From the get go I had excellent service. Picking out my dress was a wonderful experience, made better with Barb's knowledge and expertise! She made everyone in my group feel so welcome and really listened to what we wanted. Kaye did my alterations and she was amazing as well. So easy to work with! She really listened to me and help me see how a few small adjustments would leave me with the gown of my dreams. I've seen a lot of negative/1 star reviews for Jay West on other sites, and maybe it was because I thought about the timing - never made any Saturday appointments - always weekday evenings, that I had a more pleasant experience. Going after work on a Monday or Wednesday for a fitting I often had the shop to myself. I never once felt rushed, pressured, or ignored by the JW staff. If you are worried about that I would avoid Saturdays. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend them/go there again.

I could not be more happy about Jay West. I picked my wedding dress in one day and their staff was great the whole time. Kay, the seamstress did a really good job my alterations and worked with my schedule perfectly. Everyone loved my dress and said it was perfect for my venue. Sue and crew were fabulous! We found a dress that fit my budget and worked with Kay to make it look just the way I wanted! It was like a mini family and I'm sad I don't have to go back for more fittings! :)

I bought my bridal gown, my bridesmaids bought their gowns, and my junior bridesmaid purchased her gown all at Jay West. I had learned about Jay West when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. I was so taken by the quality of the service when she tried on gowns, that I didn't think of going anywhere else when it was finally time to try on my own wedding dress. I went to try on dresses last August and met with Patti. She was extremely patient with me as I tried to make a decision on my dress, even as the rest of the store was closing for the day. I bought my dress that day along with my veil and a belt, and could not have been more pleased with my decision. We returned several months later to look at bridesmaids dresses, and Lisa helped us find the most stunning dresses. Some of my bridesmaids didn't feel comfortable wearing strapless dresses, so Lisa helped us figure out how the dresses could look if they added straps. Everyone left thrilled with our dress choice. The first time I tried on my dress, Donna helped me out. She not only helped me into my dress, but she also gave excellent pointers for the wedding day. She advised us to bring baby wipes for minor marks and stains on the dress, she showed me how to pick up my dress so that I could turn around gracefully, etc. She was so helpful and so warm. When it was time for alterations, my bridal party and I worked with all three of the seamstresses. I worked predominantly with Kay who does the bridal gowns. She did a remarkable job, and she was so patient with my mom and I as we asked questions, tested out shoes, tried sitting down, laughed at oursevles, etc. She was so sweet and understanding. Lucy and Antionette were also very sweet and helpful. My only concern throughout this entire process with the dresses is that a few of my girls had some trouble with the clasps and straps on their dresses. They all looked beyond gorgeous in their dresses, but I know there was some minor concern about that as we were getting ready that morning. Overall, each time I went to Jay West (probably about fifteen times over the course of a year), I was met with professionalism and kindness. I had nothing but great experiences with the staff there, and I would definitely recommend this salon to other brides.

The Jay West staff, especially Melissa were absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish I was 100% satisfied with my experience! Melissa dedicated her time and helped me not only pick the perfect dress, but create the perfect bustle on my dress, pair it with the most gorgeous veil and helped me pick out my bridesmaid dresses (which varied in color and style)! My experience was beyond my expectations and I highly recommend Jay West for anyone looking for their dream dress!

Before I decided to go to Jay West, I read all the other reviews posted here-- and I felt confident I would have a great experience... but I didn't. I'm a curvy girl and I knew that I wouldn't exactly fit into all the dresses in the store. Barb was helping me and she took me to one corner of the shop... and told me the dresses in this ONE closet were the only ones that would fit me enough to try on. Now-- I did find a dress that I loved from that selection, but I wanted to look around the whole store. This was the first time I had been shopping for a wedding dress and there were so many other options. The other thing was that Barb kept having me step into dresses rather than put them over my head. I have a butt and that's where I carry my weight-- so it's a lot harder to step into dresses that don't fit than to put them over my head-- where I might be able to pull them down a bit to get a better idea. Overall, I think Jay West has a great selection of dresses-- but unfortunately I didn't get to see very many of them. I really didn't want to have to write a negative review, but I felt like I had to.

Loved my dress. Got a great value (I thought). Seamstress Antoinette was great. Had some issues getting some supplementary lace delivered for my veil which was annoying (some miscommunication, lot of phone calls), but otherwise was great. Would recommend. I want to go dress shopping again! :)

I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was to work with Melissa. I came into Jay West with a vision of me in a ball gown...told her I was up for different styles and I wouldn't mind trying anything on. WELL, she picked THE PERFECT dress for me! Didn't even take an hour! She knew exactly what looked great on my body type. I was amazed since I never saw myself in a form fitting gown. I'd go to Jay West again and again!

The service here was phenomenal. Sue was very professional and helpful when attempting to bring out gowns I would love. I felt that the dressing area was more private here than others. I also liked that the consultant didn't actually come INTO the dressing room with you while you were undressed; she waited outside until I had the dresses on and then would help me lace it up/put pins in. They also have a great selection of bridal accessories. They are also open about any sales they may have going on or in the near future. Although I did not purchase my gown at Jay West, there is a huge possibility I will be going back to look at bridesmaid gowns and bridal accessories.

I LOVED my dress from Jay West! They had a dress that no other bridal salon in NJ was carrying, and it was absolutely perfect for my wedding day. It was unique and captured the feel we were going for. Antoinette did an amazing job tailoring it to fit me perfectly, too.

Jay West is an adorable dress shop with knowledgeable, helpful and polite staff to help you find your dream dress! In house alterations were very reasonable also!

Jay West has tons of dresses and was more then willing to order the dress I found, however their staff isn't the friendliest friendly. The day staff said some mean things to my mom regarding her weight! However the seamstress, Kay, saved the whole experience. Working with her was well worth the rude staff... she was wonderful and I loved my dress!

This bridal shop is the best of the four I went to in NJ. I am a busty bride and sort of over weight. I am not CRAZY over weight I am just not a size 8. I left all of the other three stores crying. The ladies in the stores would tell me they had nothing that would fit me to try on with what I wanted. The only thing I wanted was for the dress to not be strapless and touched. That was all that those other stores had. At Jay West I tried on SO many dresses in the styles that I loved. I was having a hard time choosing the one I liked the most. The wonderful employee I was working with said that she had a dress she thought would look great on me, and when I first saw it I really didn't like it but she said I should just try it. I tried it on and I was in love right away. It was perfect for me. They even added buttons to the back because they knew I liked them so much on the other dresses I tried on. Their seamstress is also great. She was very fun to work with. I enjoyed this store very much, and I would encourage all brides to go there. They have every style you could think of in every size.

I had an appointment to look at bridal dresses not far from Jay West and had no luck. My party and I decided to see if they would help us without an appointment. The welcomed us in, made an area for us, and made me feel like a special bride. At first, I wasn't sure where they were headed but they were using their years of experience and tried dresses on me as a team to see what I liked. Found the dress! Different and amazing! I found out two months after purchasing the dress that I was pregnant. Thought I would be at a loss but they worked with me and sent extra material and had it altered to fit my months pregnant bridal body into a non-maternity dress. Amazing work ladies! I still had the dress of my dreams thanks to them and their amazing service!

I went there July 2013 with my 7 ladies to try on dresses, they were very accommodating with everyone. I finally picked one, ordered and got my alterations. Picked up and had no problems at all

Jay West made every experience from buying the gown, to trying it on after it came in, to getting alterations an exciting experience. They were genuinely invested in finding the perfect dress for me and then making it perfect. Kay, on the alterations team, took her time with my dress and made it fit just right. She was so much fun to work with! I highly recommend buying your wedding gown at Jay West.
