We loved working with Jelena! We hired her for flowers and as our day of coordinator. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and she went above and beyond to include columbine which is not a normal flower to put in bouquets, but has a special meaning to me. She also included succulents that I was able to salvage and continue growing after the wedding :). She was thorough and helped us organize our day. She has experience in pretty much every aspect of running a wedding and asked really good questions during our consultation that helped up put the finishing touches on the event. She also did a wonderful job on the day of the wedding, from my perspective it went off without a hitch. I'm not sure whether or not she had to scramble to make something work, but as they said in Futurama: "when you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."

I've known Jelena for years and was so excited to have the opportunity to hire her as my wedding coordinator and florist. She was honestly a godsend and made sure everything from before the event through the event itself was perfect. She helped put me at ease and was just incredible. Her flowers.....let me just saw I've NEVER seen such incredible flowers! She took my color scheme ideas and just blew my mind! Jelena will always put you first! We hired Jelena for month of coordination and flowers/decor set up. I don't know how she does it alone! At the beginning of hiring wedding vendors, we considered coordinating ourselves, or put a friend or family member in charge, but we're so glad we put a coordinator in our budget so we can truly enjoy our day. Jelena is flexible, but will stick with the timeline and make adjustments as needed. She was instrumental in creating our timeline and making sure we have balanced time with our photographer and guests. A few things that stood out to us was her honesty, professionalism, communication. Honesty - with increasing costs of flowers, Jelena was upfront with the adjusted quote and worked with us to ensure we had our non-negotiables. Professionalism - our wedding encompassed different cultures (ourselves and guests), which she embraced. We're sure she saw some wedding fiascos (as some weddings do), but she did not make any judgments and continued with her work. She works well with other vendors and will make sure they put the couple first! Communication - easy to communicate with. If she was felt that there were issues to be solved with our knowledge, she approached with a calm demeanor. Her presence was known and my bridal party worked so well with her as well. She was able to get our bridal party to move from location to location at the venue, which is no easy feat! The best planner goes to Jelena! We're so happy to have her on our wedding vendor team. We are delighted we got to work with Jelena for our May 2022 wedding. We didn't stress at all on the day of our wedding, and I attribute most of that to Jelena. She worked behind the scenes to confirm timelines and wrinkle out details with all our vendors which ensured our day ran smoothly, and helped us focus on our big tasks - like writing our vows! She was always 2 steps ahead and helped think through important details we otherwise wouldn't have thought about. I'm confident that without her help and support, we would have struggled to be as present on our big day. Jelena has an amazing eye for decor, and she helped arrange our unconventional decor (potted plants, family photos, etc.) beautifully.

Jelena went above and beyond from the moment we first started talking with her. We hired her as our wedding day-of coordinator as well as our florist. She worked with us every step of the way and checked in multiple times to make sure every detail for our big day would be perfect. Nothing was left to chance. Jelena created a day-of timeline for us, a communication gameplan, and designed our centerpieces, bridal bouquets, and arbor completely based on our favorite flowers and our color scheme. She contacted all vendors leading up to our wedding so everyone knew she was our point of contact. She even created a last-minute boutonnière for our officiant and created an additional centerpiece for another table that needed to be added. She was the person we went to all day. Jelena pressed my mother’s dress right before family photos and got a massive beef sauce stain out of my wife’s wedding dress. She even fixed my wife’s busted bustle and made it look better than before! Jelena set out all of our ceremony and reception décor, made sure our marriage certificate was signed, dated, and mailed, and she escorted us to our beautifully decorated hotel room with even more surprises. Jelena made us feel welcome and comfortable as a same-sex couple every step of the way. We would highly recommend Jelena and JBK Weddings and Events for event management and floral design. She is inclusive, kind, generous, prepared, and so much fun to work with.

Jelena was a dream to work with. Super responsive, great communication and strong understanding of what I wanted. When our plans changed and I wanted to change up the color scheme, it was no issue. When I needed to change the order amount, again no issue. She handled it all with ease. Another aspect, I respected and appreciated so much was she worked with my budget. I have never placed a large floral order, and was not sure what I could afford, she was clear and adjusted things to make it work for us. I was OBSESSED with our flowers! It was the best money we spent, I could have looked at them all day long. I can't recommend her enough! Based on her portfolio she has a wide range of skills and she is able to create what you want. Jelena did some of the florals for my wedding (bridal bouquet, arch decor, and boutonnières). She did an amazing job at making my boho/summery vision come to life! She was prompt and professional, and had great ideas and recommendations. Very easy to work with. I would highly recommend her for floral design!

She absolutely went above and beyond for our wedding and made sure the day was anything but stressful for us both. Our wedding was everything we wanted and if something went wrong, we didn’t know about it. From the minute we met her, we knew she was the right planner for us. She’s easy going and fun but this woman gets stuff done. Once we handed over contact info for our vendors and wedding party, Jelena completely took the reins and made sure everything was handled. And, she’s super cool and prepared for everything- we needed some last minute dress fixes as well as had a guest that needed some outfit repairs after dancing too much. Jelena was there and took care of things fast and discreetly. She’s a rock star and I will definitely use her for my next wedding!

Jelena Krzeszowski of JBK Weddings and Events provided the perfect floral design for my daughter’s wedding, creating the desired look and feel while respecting our budget. Jelena was also the ideal day-of coordinator. She spoke and met with my daughter and the on-site event coordinator repeatedly, ensuring that all planners were on the same page and that the bride’s wishes were clearly understood. Jelena also produced an easy to understand timeline for the bridal party and the families. During the rehearsal, Jelena lent her expertise to the flow of the ceremony. Then, on the day of the wedding, Jelena masterfully managed the floral arrangements in the ceremony and event spaces, including “curtains” of greenery that required a ladder and some level of gymnastics. Her expert timing ensured that she would be available to the bridal party, supplying encouragement and assurance, as well as Band-Aids and moleskin for blisters caused by new shoes. Throughout the wedding day, Jelena impressed me with her ability to accommodate the schedule shifts that take place because folks will be folks with confidence and grace. At the same time, she kept everything moving along so that key moments, such as the cutting of the cake, toasts and first dance, occurred without hurry. The balance she achieved allowed the bride, groom and their families to simply enjoy the day. Thank you, Jelena! You are truly great at what you do!

Jelena was amazing for day of Coordinator. She also did our flowers and decor, using some of our personal items as well. Everything turned out beautiful and she made our day stress free. Highly recommend!

Jelena was amazing and made sure our day went off without a hitch. Highly recommend and worth the money!! She was extremely attentive and even helped do a last minute hem for the grooms pants and set up all the center pieces. She was a joy to have and her energy was great. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Jelena! We absolutely LOVED her! So prepare for an extremely long and detailed review of all the wonderful things we have to say (: This will convince you that her day of wedding coordinator services is a must!!! You’ll want someone to take care of everything that happens behind the scenes, so that you can enjoy your special day with your loved ones, and she is the perfect person for the job! We met Jelena at the Northwest Bridal Showcase at the Tulalip Casino two years before our wedding. Once we got to talking to her, I loved that she seemed genuinely interested in our wedding and started to help us with venue suggestions even though we hadn’t committed to her services yet. She actually ended up emailing us later with more information on the exact venues we had talked about at the bridal show! My husband wanted to save as much money as we could, so he was still skeptical at this time as to whether or not we even really needed a day of coordinator. But after our wedding he agrees that Jelena was a godsend and easily the best money we spent on our wedding! Jelena takes all of your planning and selected vendors and communicates what she expects from them and creates a custom timeline for you. She is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and has so much experience that I trusted her every opinion and she was always right!!! Plus she has tons of connections and is able to get discounts with her preferred vendors. She was always finding ways to save us money which was a huge help! At our wedding reception, she coordinated everything from beginning to end, communicated everything to us, checked in on us, bringing us more food and drinks and making sure we had enough to eat. We also hired Jelena for her floral services because her there’s no denying that her arrangements are absolutely beautiful! And she definitely knows what she’s doing! I gave her the impossible task of finding mini pineapples for my bouquet, my bridesmaids’ bouquets, and the groomsmen’s boutonnieres! I was so impressed how dedicated she was to tracking these pineapples down and she ended up doing the impossible after calling all across the country! AMAZING! She kept me updated the entire time which I appreciated so much!!! I know there’s so much more that she has done for us and I’m sure I’ll think of it later. Thank you SO MUCH Jelena from the very bottom of our hearts. You made our wedding day perfect and couldn’t imagine having any other coordinator/florist take care of us. We love you!!!

JBK flowers were amazing! Jelena did my wedding bouquets and boutonnières as well as the flowers on the archway, that once at the venue, she set up and did beautifully. She delivered the flowers on a Sunday and the price for all the flowers was very reasonable! Highly recommend if you need flowers for your day going with Jelena!

Jelena was such a joy to work with! She was always warm and professional and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day (wedding week really!) run smoothly. We had some inclement weather and had to change our plans for the ceremony and reception, but it didn’t even feel stressful with Jelena in charge! I was so happy I found her and felt so lucky that she was so committed to helping us have the perfect day.

I 1,000% would recommend JBK events. We hired her for our day of coordinator, but the amazing thing was she did SO MUCH more. She met with us multiple times and called regularly to check in. She went above and beyond just the day of coordination. She has so much knowledge about how to best schedule the timeline of the day. Because of her recommendations and attention to helping make the timeline, our wedding went off seamlessly. She also has worked with so many vendors, so recommended the best vendors to work with for catering, DJ, hair/make up, etc. We felt like because of her we got to work with the best of the best. Anytime I had a question she was super easy to contact the whole year of planning, either by text, phone, or email. She was always calm and confident in fielding all of my questions. You get a sense from her that she truly enjoys helping you. The day of we actually had her assistant, her sister Danica, because Jelena had another wedding. Her sister has a totally calm presence and I was surprised at how confident she was in the details of our wedding, since I had been working with Jelena the whole time. Danica made for a super easy wedding day because she handles all the details and you just get to enjoy it! She knows what you need before you even ask, like being right there to hand your groom and you a glass of water or plate of food. She also did all of our set up of decorations so we didn't have to worry about that, as well as helped in cleaning up. I've told friends that are getting married that the one thing you should invest in is a good wedding planner. I'm certain the year of planning would have been way more stressful without her knowledge and guidance about how to organize a wedding. I didn't know anything about flowers, except that I wanted the wildflower look. She is also a florist so ended up doing my bridesmaids’ bouquets, groomsmens’ boutonnieres, flower for my hair and my bouquet. They looked incredible. She also made an extra bouquet for the toss, which I didn't even think of asking for. I wanted farmers market flowers for all the tables. She tried to put me in touch with someone she's worked with before, but when that vendor didn't get back to me, she went around to different farmers market stands to ask what they had. When she found someone, she ordered for me and organized a pick up time. The flowers turned out exactly how I wanted them. I can’t imagine a better wedding planner!

We worked with Jelena for our wedding a month ago and she was such a joy and a great person to work with! She has great expertise in event planning and it helped that she was very familiar with our venue (Swan Trails Farms at Snohomish) because everything went so smoothly and I couldn't ask for more on my wedding day. Also our wedding had a lot of DIY involved and I shared that I wanted to bring back everything from the wedding and once the wedding ended, everything was so efficiently packed by Jelena by the time everyone started to make a move. Also, she had great advice especially when it came to the ceremony procedures and even when I didn't know what was the exact way to do things, my husband and I could count on her for advice - that meant a lot to is. Thank you for making it so easy for us on the day of and it was so great having you be a part of our celebration! Hiring Jelena was the best thing I could have done. I had this grand vision that I would be able to effortlessly orchestrate the entire thing myself while also enjoying the day. As it got closer I quickly realized how insane that was. I reached out to Jelena after getting MANY recommendations from other brides and vendors that I had already begun working with. It was instantly clear how good at her job she is and that I HAD to work with her. My only regret was not hiring her sooner so I could take full advantage of her decades of experience. Her advice and experience proved so invaluable throughout the remainder of my planning all the way through the end of the big day. She made sure I didn't have to lift a single finger on the day and worked seamlessly with all of the vendors to ensure a fantastic event not only for my husband and I, but also for our guests. Everyone raved about how beautiful and fun the day was and that would not have been possible without Jelena's excellent production and coordination.

Hiring Jelena to create the flower arrangements for our wedding was such a fantastic decision. I had very rough ideas about what I wanted, but Jelena was able to hear those ideas and create something tangible from them which really speaks to her talent. She understood the overall vision for the wedding and was able to put together arrangements that really spoke to that vision. Firstly, communicating with Jelena was very easy. She was always prompt, always informative, and always happy to make changes and answer questions. She took a lot of care to understand exactly what we were looking for. Secondly, and I cannot recommend this enough: let her have creative freedom. I gave Jelena a color scheme and a shape for my bridal bouquet, but that was basically it. She knows SO MUCH about flowers and their season, what price they'll be, how long they last, whether they'll pop in photos, what textures and colors work together etc. etc. that letting her pull from her knowledge and taking advantage of that really set our flowers apart. Thirdly, she stayed in our budget and was very clear about pricing for each piece. We didn't have a huge flower budget, but she made sure to stay within it and never pushed to increase it. Fourthly, her knowledge and experience as a wedding planner and coordinator really came in handy. We got married at Thornewood Castle, and she already knew the space very well and knew what she could do to make both the ceremony and reception areas full and beautiful. Initially, I wanted to have candelabras on our tables along with the flowers but Jelena brought to my attention that Thornewood doesn't allow open flame. Instead, she recommended floating candles which turned out to be so dreamy and so beautiful. It's things like that that I wouldn't have known to ask about had it not been for her knowledge (and the floating candles idea was genius...so much better than candelabras). Lastly, her work is just beautiful. Really, we had so many people commenting on our flowers and asking who did them. The quality of her work is outstanding. I've never seen more beautiful arrangements in my life. All this to say, we are so glad we found someone as talented as Jelena. And on top of all her talent, she is a wonderful person who was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her.

Jelena and her assistant are rockstars! We are so happy we picked JBK to be our day-of wedding coordinator. Jelena is an experienced wedding planner with great connections and insight to the industry. Although we only booked her as a day-of, Jelena went above and beyond. She reviewed all of our invoices, recommended vendors, and reviewed our wedding timeline. On the day of, she gracefully balanced being a go-to resource for our vendors and my husband and me. We don't know what we would have done without Jelena on our wedding day! She was recommended to us by our venue and hiring her as our day-of-coordinator was the best decision we could have made! Jelena was very professional, responsive, organized and had a very calm demeanor throughout the entire time we worked with her! She kept us on schedule and helped us with our wedding day timeline and contacted all of our vendors. She even went above and beyond and came to our meeting with our reception venue to help with the table layout and floor plan. Jelena outshined herself on the wedding day! Right off the bat, my nail broke in half and I had a complete meltdown. I called Jelena not knowing what to do. After about 30 minutes of her trying to find an open nail salon and use her connections to get me an appointment close to where I was getting ready, Jelena called me and said she found someone that was able to travel to my hotel room to fix my nail!! Jelena even came to my hotel room earlier than anticipated and made herself available to help with anything and everything. She even stitched some of my bridesmaids' dresses for them. During the ceremony and reception, Jelena was always there to make sure things went as smoothly as possible and that we stuck to our timeline! Jelena also served as our florist! The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and the centerpieces were stunning! We had so many compliments on the arrangements and the colors! I do not know of anyone else that would have gone to the lengths that she did to make my wedding day as happy and as stress-free! I highly recommend Jelena for your wedding planning and floral needs! I met Jelena at The Seattle Wedding Show and happened to win her day of coordinator services from the raffle she was offering at her booth, which was the best thing I could have possibly won. Jelena was completely organized, detailed, professional and calm. Every time I felt like I was going to lose my mind she was right there helping me put it back in its place. I had an inebriated wedding guest who took it upon themselves to swing me around like a rag doll and pop the back clasps of my wedding dress off (yes, yes, this happened friends!) Jelena was right there with her wedding tool belt pinning my dress back together so I could enjoy my night. When I was busy at work rushing from meeting to meeting while having an appointment at my venue with Jelena and some other vendors in the middle of the day - I completely forgot to bring my wedding files/binder, Jelena was there prepared with a notepad and all the details without me even having to ask. Jelena was always one step ahead of the situation being thrown at her and it was just the best lifeline a girl could have ever asked for. Jelena also has an excellent book of vendors that she works with who are also extremely helpful. Her connections in the industry made it easy for me to book rentals, work with lighting specialists, DJ’s, Photographers, Videographers…etc. She truly has an extensive knowledge base of all things weddings in the Puget Sound. The owner of my wedding venue loved working with Jelena so much that she took the time to write me the nicest email after the wedding was over to let me know how much Jelena helped the venue staff out and what a pleasure it was to work with her. Jelena also did all my floral needs for the wedding. Her floral work is spectacular and reasonably priced. I had so many compliments throughout the wedding about how beautiful the flowers were and people wanting to know who did my bouquet. Working with her on flowers was so simple and painless. She made everything a breeze and knew exactly what I was looking for more than I even knew. I really can’t give enough love to Jelena and all the work she did for our wedding – she was the best partner to have throughout the entire process. I would gladly use her again and again for any floral or event planning /event executing needs.

Jelena was such a great wedding planner! I didn't even know where or how to start, and she gave us a checklist and timeline from the beginning. She but also has great recommendations and knows all the right vendors to call. She's quick to respond to emails/calls which was great. Very affordable and worth every penny! So glad we used JBK for our day of coordinator.

If I could give JBK Weddings a better rating than a 5, I would. Jelena is basically a magician, therapist, mediator, and life coach. She was worth every penny! We hired her for DOC, but she went above and beyond for us!! She helped us find an affordable caterer who was willing to travel, helped with planning details (before her services technically started), came through on all our flowers- even a late notice rehearsal dinner request from my MIL! She saved us a ton of money because she has so much experience, and is so well connected. She was extremely professional and very responsive. Like, an email back within minutes usually. Her flowers were beautiful! The only thing I would have done differently is hired her sooner! My husband was equally as impressed with her, as was everyone at the wedding! Hiring anyone else would be a mistake in my opinion. She was phenomenal. If we can hire her for something else down the road we absolutely will! Book her NOW :)

We used JBK weddings for both our flowers and day-of-coordination. To say Jelena was amazing is an understatement! Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and Jelena has just the personality you want in a planner. She made sure everything ran on time and took away a lot of the stress of dealing with vendors and trouble-shooting mishaps throughout the day. She was available throughout the entire process, even though we just had her for day-of coordinating. Jelena was such a wonderful wedding planner! My husband and I didn't even know where to start, and she gave us a checklist and timeline from the beginning. Jelena's experience is obvious from the get-go. She's open to any ideas and questions, but also has great recommendations if you aren't sure about something. She's quick to respond to emails/calls and prompt on deadlines. Overall, a dream wedding coordinator. She took away a lot of the stress that comes with planning any event.

Jelena K. was an incredible Day of Coordinator. You can plan for a lot of things and she certainly helped with those, but Jelena shined for all the moments we couldn't or forgot to prepare for. On our day, she was a total dynamo by communicating with the vendors, putting on finishing touches, running last minute emergencies and making sure everything ran smoothly. (She even sewed one of my bridesmaids back into her dress after a major mishap!) Also, Jelena had the dual role of DoC and florist. She created the personal flowers for our day and they were absolutely gorgeous. She took great care in understanding what I wanted and even drove me out to see flowers personally. Her knowledge and connections in the floral industry in Seattle were valuable and straight up fascinating. While I was determined to manage most of the wedding planning myself, Jelena offered a lot of practical and creative advice. You can read a lot about how to prepare, but you can't beat her experience or her get-er-done attitude.
