Terrible. Save yourself. Run!!

Josh was very easy to work with and affordable. He was Hired as my florist for my wedding and did an amazing job! It was not in my budget to hire an event designer but Josh was gracious enough to guide me with the over look and design for my wedding when I asked him for advise. He responded to texts in a swift manner and was very reliable. I would highly recommend him!

Josh designed our wedding in October and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Our space was a blank industrial canvas and he and his team really pulled off the simple romantic elegant look we were going for. I was also a bride who thought she had more time and creativity to incorporate DIY ideas which Josh was happy to bring to his design and remained flexible when I discovered we were better off leaving things to the professionals. I never once doubted that we were not on the same page with our design and even had him pick out our linens without ever seeing them. He was very willing to work within our budget and always responsive to ideas and questions throughout the whole process. We really enjoyed working with you Josh and can't thank you enough for being part of our wedding team!

I was the maid of honor for my best friends wedding which she chose to use this vendor. From the very first appointment it went great. She went in with no idea what she wanted and he sat with the two of us and went through various flowers and colors, and vases and designs. He did her ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was very accommodating as she decided to add things during the process and it was no problem. Everything was absolutely beautiful. Him and his team took everyone's breath away. The MOB walked in and cried at the reception. The process was very smooth, everything was done above and beyond what we had thought. I would recommend JD event and design to anyone and everyone!!

JD Events is a great company and I wish I was able to upload the flowers onto this website to show everyone the great work Josh and his company did for my wedding back in June. From the start of this process Josh was so helpful and would answer any of the questions I had no matter what time or day it was. I got my flowers, runners, isle runner, vases and more from the company all for a great price! I couldn't believe it! Josh went out to my venue and arranged everything for me at the reception. It was such a stress reliever and I couldn't have asked for a better company or florist to help me during such a stressful time. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is looking for someone who is willing to bend over backs in order to make sure your wedding day is perfect! Thanks Josh for the amazing flowers and all your help. I can't thank you enough!

I attended a wedding that was done by this company and grabbed a card on my way out. It was the most elegant wedding I have ever seen. The flowers were so beautiful. They had candles covering the cake table and the dinner tables. The floral arrangements were unforgettable. I asked the bride about the vendor and she said she would recommend them 100 times over.

JD Events did all the flowers, center pieces, lightening and tables at my wedding. I was blown away with the work and the beauty that came to life at my wedding. The center pieces were gorgeous and very detailed. My bouquet looked gorgeous in every picture. Josh was there the day before and hours before the reception making sure everything was perfect. All my guests kept talking about how beautiful it all looked. Every detail was covered from the sign in table, to the cake table to candles at the bar. The entire room was filled with his work and I could not be more thankful. I wold definitely recommend this hard working company because the job they do will forever be remembered by you and your guests.

I would STRONGLY reccomend staying away from this florist because he is unprofessional and unreliable. Everything began great - during our initial meeting with the owner Josh, he asked if he could tour our venue on a specific Monday when he was in the city to help plan for table decorations for the wedding. I set up time with the venue coordinator to meet with her and the florist that specific Monday at 10:30am, to which he replied he'd rather sleep in later since he is working a wedding the day before. This was weird since he picked that day, but I went along and asked the venue coordinator to change the time to 3:15pm, to which josh agreed. So, I was surprised to get an email from him 5min before the meeting saying only "running late, is it ok if I'm late?" I replied to check in security when he arrives and that the venue coordinator has a hard stop at 4 (45min later so should be fine). Then he calls me and gives me attitude saying he doesn't want to "waste his time" parking if he is 40 min late and only can be there 5 minutes. I was already at the venue on time and had wasted my time getting out there for the sole purpose of his request to meet there. I understand things come up, but I was stunned this man I was about to give thousands of dollars to was so rude and NEVER ONCE said sorry to me about totally blowing me off then accused me of wasting his time parking. He then continues to tell me he "didn't think this appointment was that serious or a big deal" and saying with attitude "I don't know what you want me to do about it". It was so baffling to me he couldn't even be respectful or simply say sorry. I had to go in and explain to the venue coordinator that we wasted her time and had to cancel. To me, this can not be someone who is trusted to even show up for the most important day of your life. As a professional (or just a human), it is amazing that there was not one sense of remorsefulness or being able to say sorry to a potential client. He continually mentioned he didn't want this to be a waste of his time, yet we took the time out of our day the weekend before to wake up super early to travel to the suburbs from the city (we have no car and took trains and an uber) to meet with him and discuss our wedding and potentially working together yet he can't arrive for a venue tour at 3:15pm on a Monday afternoon (date/time he dictated) . This florist clearly has does not care nor respect his potential clients and I would tell everyone who is looking for a reliable and truthful florist to stay away from JD Event Design and continue your florist shopping elsewhere.
