I hired Jeff Carr for my wedding. He did our engagement photos as well. He is so down to earth, funny and goes with the flow. He thinks of all sorts of shots and he Im sure they will come out as I imagine them just like our engagement pictures did. We had Krispy Kreme hats out on our sweets table and I have pics of him wearing one. He is amazing and I can't wait to see the pictures.
Well at least we know why Jeff Carr photography has not checked in to insure that we got the flash drive that was sent out 13 weeks later after our wedding date?!… We are completely disappointed, we expected that Jeff Carr photography was going to hold up the contract that Jeff had us sign, however that was not the case. What we should’ve received, based on the contract was: digital editing which obviously did not take place, we have 945 pictures taken exactly the way they were that evening no high resolution images, no online password-protected wedding album, no reproduction rights, and definitely did not receive them within the 8 weeks as promised and stated in the contract which is where all of the above items were part of as well. We only received the flash drive 13 weeks later after 4 follow up phone calls, where Jeff stated he was in the process of editing them which was a complete lie. Then Jeff Carr stopped answering our calls and had to resort to writing Jeff through Facebook where he continued to string us along for a few more weeks, even after we told Jeff we had family coming into town to look at the pictures with us because they were not able to make it to the wedding, Jeff still did not get them to us. At this point we would like to know how Jeff planned to resolve this as the contract holds us both accountable and Jeff did not hold up his end of the contract however we did and Jeff Carr photography was paid in full. We are not looking for any free photo session where we have to chase Jeff for more pictures that Jeff promises offered for us to have as we had a wedding that is priceless. It is a shame Jeff’s ratings are as high as they are and we trusted the referral that we got for Jeff Carr photography. Very unprofessional, We tried to have many of conversations with Jeff to resolve the issues and Jeff offered us more and more PHOTO shoots to make up for the pictures in the wedding at a later date. Like I said earlier, we had resulted to Facebook because Jeff Carr stopped answering our phone calls. Then I had written a reasonable review and Jeff Carr did what any shady person would do…. Blocked me.
We’ve used Jeff Carr photography for everything from family photos, wedding, professional head shots, and events through our business. Jeff is true professional. If he’s available I’d recommend booking him before it’s too late.
Jeff and all of his staff are amazing. They made my wedding day such an amazing event. We just got the photos and fell so in love with his work. The absolute best photographer in Florida. My husband and I highly recommend using this company for your photography needs.
WOW... Jeff CarrPhotography was so amazing on my wedding day. His professionalism far exceeded our expectation. He created the most beautiful photos for us and we absolutely loved every single one of them. I would highly recommend using his services for your wedding or any occasion. Thank you again Jeff for Creating such wonderful memories for us to cherish for a lifetim
I've actually not gotten married yet but we had contacted Jeff Carr Photography to do our photos for the day of. We met him at a bridal show and told him we were going to be having a very small local wedding in October 2019. He gave me his wedding price list and directed me to his website for any additional info. I gave him a $200 deposit on July 7th and emailed him on July 14th looking for the contract. On July 17th, I received an email from him that he would send the contract that week. On July 20th, I received an email telling me they don't book anything under a 6 hour wedding on a Saturday afternoon in October. This information was nowhere in the brochure or on the website and it still isn't. Nor did Jeff offer that information when we spoke at the bridal show. He was given the date of the wedding and approximate time along with the knowledge it was not going to be a big wedding, yet he still had me place a deposit and then not bother to get back in touch until I questioned where the contract was. If you're going to have a restriction on what packages are offered when, then you put that information out there. Essentially I was told because I couldn't offer him more money, he wasn't doing the wedding and brides paying more than my package pick are more important.
In the long run this worked out for me because I found a fantastic photographer who is so much more friendly and down to earth. Great pricing with more coverage and actually replies to emails in a timely manner, not weeks later.
Brides-to-be just be warned that restrictions may appear if your package pays less than what another bride will pay.
I was so excited to use this photographer because he was referred to me and I liked his work that I saw on his page. However in the end I was very let down and dissatisfied. The main issues were the unprofessionalism and poor communication. For a few examples, it took 3 weeks longer to receive our wedding photos than stated in the contract (said to allow up to 8 weeks, we didn’t get them until the END of 11 weeks). That was AFTER I reached out to him at the 10 week mark asking for an update and timeline as he didn’t have the courtesy to reach out to ME to let me know where the progress was. The photos I received were good but not amazing in my opinion. There were multiple shots of the same pose, some with very bright lighting, and 1 picture was just the top half of the cake (although I did receive a picture of the full cake). He also did not capture many of the small details from my wedding I was hoping to have pictures of. On the wedding day, the groom asked him for a particular photo (of just our rings) and he said “oh we’ll get to that”, which unfortunately he never did.. He didn’t get an exit photo of the bride and groom standing in the elevator with the wedding planner holding the doors open for the videographer to get his portion of the shoot. We also asked him for photos in a certain location after the ceremony and he stated “we don’t have time”. During the remainder of the night, he portrayed a certain interest in 1 of the bridesmaids and even took a selfie with her. This photo was actually provided by his co-worker from HIS camera. As the bride, I feel WE were the ones paying for his service, and I felt his interest was elsewhere during my wedding which was a huge letdown. Regardless of who pursued who throughout the night, as a professional this should have been carried out on a separate occasion. He stayed after the wedding reception to have cocktails with the bridesmaid, and then he texted the bride at 1 AM on HER WEDDING NIGHT asking to give his phone number to the bridesmaid. I emailed him a week after the wedding addressing his text and asked him for “2-3 photos of the groom and I” so I could use them on a thank you card. His co-worker responded “I will relay this information to Jeff”. I never received even 2 photos or any sort of preview. I never heard from him until I emailed him 10 weeks. His excuse was “we got overwhelmed with the amount of weddings and photo shoots we did from late September until current”. This was absolutely unacceptable. I’m aware that some wedding photos take 2-3 months, however this is not what was in the contract signed by both parties. Many other brides I knew were getting preview shots or all of their photos less than 3 weeks after their wedding. This made me wish I had hired a different company, and therefore I’m writing this review so other brides and grooms are aware of how his service works. I’m sharing this information not to accuse him of actions he didn’t do, but FACTS of the experience I had with this photographer. I’ve since talked with many people about this situation and have actually ran into 2 other brides who used him and shared the SAME story regarding him pursing his interest (bridesmaids) at weddings. This was truly a letdown with this company, and I don’t wish any bride or groom to have to go through these unprofessional actions on their biggest and most special day.
Jeff Carr was fantastic. He got so many beautiful photos of the wedding, and even got some funny pictures too! He was unobtrusive, and sometimes I really didn't even know he was taking pictures.
He also got the pictures to us much sooner then he told us to expect them, and a little over a week after the wedding sent me a few to send out with my thank you cards, even before all the others were finished. All of the photos were lovely, and my husband, who is a CHRONIC blinker, kept his eyes open during 99% of them!!
He was also very highly encouraging during all of the picture taking. :)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Jeff Carr was amazing. Very nice personable and took great pictures. Will be using him again for maternity pictures
Jeff had done an engagement shoot for my friend and I just fell in love with his work! He was alot of fun to have around and he kept everyone in line for photos without being pushy or yelling. He had some of the most gorgeous pictures i have ever seen!
Jeff Carr Photography was an EXCELLENT choice for my wedding. He was so easy to work with and was constantly joking around with my bridesmaids and I to get us comfortable with him and comfortable around all of the cameras. He was quick to respond to my emails with answers to my questions, and worked with me to take all of the pictures I requested him to take. We all had so much fun with him - it was truly a great experience. On top of that, he had mentioned boudiour photos and I expressed how I had been wanting to do some of those. He told me we could do some right then if we wanted...so I got to do a few sexy boudiour photos before getting into my wedding dress. It was exactly what I wanted - I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. The price I paid for his services is uncomparable to other photographers. He is very reasonably priced and worth every penny. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a wonderful photographer for their wedding and trust him to take the best pictures.
