I am a wedding vendor in the area and have worked with JMEP multiple times over many seasons. This team puts their clients’ experience as their priority. I work closely with brides on wedding day and JMEP brides are not stressed. They have complete trust in their planning team to execute a beautiful experience for them and their guests. For me as a vendor, i absolutely love showing up to JMEP events because they are always beautiful, there is a carefully curated team of professionals to pull off an epic day, and the JMEP team effortlessly keeps it all afloat. I’ve seen stages set up crooked by an experienced “new delivery guy” with hours to go that the lead planner, Jennifer calmly but strongly addressed with the delivery vendor and then promptly gathered a team to correct the issue, herself included, until the heavy stage was safely moved to the correct location. I’ve seen a stuck zipper minutes before the ceremony starts…on the bride…Jennifer calmly sewed that bride into her dress with her sewing kit and sent her down the aisle. I’ve seen issues arise that were out of the JMEP teams control having to do with timing and they seamlessly pivot to be sure the guest experience is top tier throughout the night. Their designs are unique and beautiful. She’s honest and will flat out say “we aren’t doing that” or “we can get that look for a better price let’s save those dollars so you can use them over here for a bigger impact.” This is a high end vendor that is worth every penny. You get what you pay for and then some with this team. JMEP brides are often friends of past JMEP brides. I think that alone speaks volumes.

We appreciated so much that she has been so accommodating to us. Another thing that we found impressive when talking to Jennifer is her connections and extensive knowledge of all sorts of vendors, which was very reassuring to us as we do not live in FL - she is a professional and will not let you down with her support! Jennifer and her team excel in event design. They were able to bring my vision to life, and were a great sounding board for decisions and guided me to timeless selections. Meetings with Jennifer and Megan were always fun! Megan knocked it out of the park day of - she easily managed a pop up rain shower during dinner, and got the event back on track as quickly as possible.

Jen and her team were great! You can tell the strength of a company when you don't necessarily work with the owner and things still go off swimmingly. I want to especially recognize Meg, Rosie, and Lindsay for all they did for us. I did not worry about one single thing on my wedding day. I was able to just relax and they took care of the rest. I don't think I can ever thank them enough for that.

We hied Jennifer and her team to help plan our wedding and they did an amazing job from start to finish!! They helped in every aspect of the wedding and made our wedding day perfect. Marrying my wife is by far the best thing I’ve ever done in my life, and Jennifer made my wedding day perfect. She wasn’t just a wedding planner. She was family. Whenever I remember my wedding day, I will always remember Jennifer. I am forever grateful for the day she made happen. In my honest opinion, if you choose any other planner, you made the wrong choice.

I knew from the start that I would want a professional’s help executing the vision my now husband and I had in mind for our wedding. I interviewed several wedding planners, and from our initial call, Jennifer was the most professional, patient, and playful – and it helped that she had extensive experience not only with Indian weddings (my family hails from Punjab) but also intercultural ones (my husband’s roots are in England and Scotland). Over the 11 months working together, Jennifer proved herself to be reliable and creative. She proposed ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves, including a custom bar with magnificent details, drapery that turned a boring hotel meeting space into a sacred one fit for a marriage ceremony, and color combinations for linens that enhanced our floral arrangements perfectly (but would not clash with my red wedding dress). The best part was that she was never pushy and did not take it personally if we decided not to pursue an idea. The network of vendors she introduced us to — including florists, photographers, videographers, live musicians, and DJs — was also outstanding. By the week of the wedding, I was able to focus on getting ready, as I knew that Jennifer and her team had everything covered. Jennifer remained calm even when severe weather threatened the wedding day, taking the initiative to advocate for our baraat (groom’s arrival) to be held inside the hotel lobby rather than outside, a detail that made for a more intimate, meaningful moment than we had originally planned. The entire wedding was better than we could have imagined, and I applaud Jennifer for that. If you are looking for a wedding planner who excels in every way, look no further than JMEP!

If I could only keep one vendor and do it all over again I would pick Jen. I can’t put into words how much I would recommend Jennifer Matteo Wedding Planning services. We are extremely happy with this vendor selection. We engaged Jen & team about 1.5 years before our wedding. We already had a venue and some vendors hired when we got her on board for partial planning services. For vendors we hadn’t hired (and some we hadn’t even thought we would need!) she had a list of vendors for us to choose from, including DJs, Florists, Linen services, and officiants, which was extremely helpful for us in narrowing down who to hire. The vendors we hired from her list were AMAZING. From the officiant, to the dog sitter (I know - I’m one of those dog owners), to the Florist. They were all on point. We had monthly meetings to discuss all things wedding. I am a pretty anxious type A person so Jen helped keep me calm and let me know when we needed to focus on certain tasks for the wedding. This helped prevent overthinking and unnecessary stress on my end. We had florals done about 1 year out and 90% of the design done 8 months out. Her team helped send out the wedding invitations The true magic of hiring Jen happened about 2 months out. All of my friends were stressed and doing a million things last minute in the 2 months leading up to their weddings. We were not. I tried to panic a few times but Jen had everything handled. I literally had nothing to stress about where the wedding was concerned. I took the full week off leading up to my wedding and there were moments I was a little bored. Jen or her team (shout out to Megan!!) would call our text a few times a day to confirm details, look at menu cards, talk about table cards, signage, etc. Truly the process was painless and so easy from my end. When we first saw the reception room we were blown away. We knew it would be beautiful but we didn’t know it would come together as well as it did. It was absolutely gorgeous – in large part due to Jen & Co’s coordination of linens, silverware/glassware, flower arrangements, and signage. We can’t even imagine how difficult it would have been to put all of those things together on our own. I would truly recommend this vendor to anyone and everyone.

Jennifer was incredibly detailed, thorough and exceptional to work with. As many guys believe, once we pop the question, we’re practically done right? Being engaged was really the end of anything I needed to think about. When people would ask me, “how’s the wedding planning going?”, I would respond, “my wedding will be my surprise party.” But okay – let me tell you, it was not only the best party of my life but the best weekend of my life and JMEP is to thank. We live in New York City and Jennifer and her team from the very beginning understood my bride’s vision and helped execute it without us feeling like we needed to even be in Florida. Jen and her team were excellent to work with and without them, our perfect wedding day would not have happened. Jen worked with us during the planning process to make sure that every detail was covered and matched what we had envisioned for our wedding. You often hear about how difficult it is to plan a wedding, but Jen made this part of things a breeze for us. She was able to easily adjust our plans when issues came up or if we wanted to change something. She also used her experience planning weddings to help steer our decision in a certain direction when we were indecisive. On the day of the rehearsal, she provided directions to the wedding party so that it was quick and easy. For the wedding day, she and her team made sure that absolutely everything ran smoothly. We followed our schedule exactly as she had planned it out and even got ahead of schedule at certain points, which provided nice breaks in-between events. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was even more amazing. We can't say enough about how our reception turned out. It was everything that we had hoped for and more. We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome and we owe all this to her and her team. What really made Jen stand out though was that she made sure she did everything she could to provide the best day possible. We needed an emergency target run for some things during the middle of everything and she made sure this happened and we got what we needed (shout out to her husband too). We really can't say enough good things about Jen and her team though and are so thankful that we were able to work with them. If we had to do it all over again we would without a doubt pick Jen and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help planning their wedding.

I hired JMEP as a wedding gift to myself so I wouldn’t stress out about the wedding planning process and could just sit back and enjoy! Unbeknownst to my fiancé and I we were in for a year of family heartache and stress which in turn put our wedding on the backseat for quite some time. We changed our wedding date three times with all our vendors with the help of JMEP. Throughout this process I worked with Bridgette directly and she was a true angel and never made us feel like complete lunatics (which we were) with all of our rescheduling. We decided in December 2022 to move our wedding to January 6th, 2023, and it all fell together so seamlessly thanks to Bridgette. Bridgette has a way about her that keeps you calm and relaxed which we appreciated so much. Every vendor JMEP recommended to us was a pleasure to work with. I took it upon myself to find one vendor outside of their recommendation list which ended up being a complete nightmare. The JMEP team helped me through the process of handling this vendor, discontinuing our contract, and helped me find a new vendor who was amazing. All of our planning with JMEP was done online, which was my choosing as that was most convenient for my fiancé and I. Although it was done online we were provided with so many options and received such personal service. The day of our wedding was a true dream come true, thanks to Bridgette and Bailey. We were able to have the time of our lives and not stress about setting up, bringing anything back to our bridal suites, or our gifts. From helping me change my shoes, to making sure I ate enough during the dinner service, these girls were phenomenal. We would highly recommend the JMEP team for any occasion, wedding especially. They made our dreams come true!

We hired Jen and her team 2 years before our wedding (long engagement due to Covid and logistics around venue availability). Being from NY we knew we needed to hire a wedding planner as this would be a destination wedding for most of our guests. Even with booking so far out Jen and team never made us feel like we were too early to discuss any little detail of our upcoming wedding. In fact, we got right to booking most of our vendors so that we had our choice in vendors since we were booking so early. They had the most amazing suggestions for all vendors and EACH one of the team of professionals we hired surpassed our wildest dreams.  Bridgette was our main planner (with Jen still heavily involved) and knowing that I can be a type A bride, they put me at ease and were incredibly helpful, I would have not been able to execute this without them.   The week of our wedding there was a potential hurricane/tropical storm Nicole (ironically my first name). That week in and of itself was enough for us to suggest booking JMEP. They got ahead of everything and completely jumped into action contacting all of our vendors and making sure there was a plan in place (and backup B and C plans just in case..). They secured tents and also a completely back up wedding venue in case we were unable to have our wedding at Powel Crosley like originally planned. That was the hardest week, but Bridgette, Jen and team completely helped us every step of the way and we could not be more thankful!!  Thankfully our wedding day ended up being beautiful weather and we had our original wedding vision (that actually SURPASSED all of our visions due to JMEP).  The day of the wedding they made me feel so calm and at ease knowing that they had everything under control. Everywhere I turned Bridgette and Amanda were right there making sure I was okay/had everything I needed etc while also taking care of all of our vendors/guests/and our parents - I truly do not know how they did it all. My dad has a bad leg and staying on his feet for hours on end or walking a distance is very hard for him, Bridgette and Amanda even made sure he was okay the entire night - having a seat when he needed, and even offering/helping him with his shoes during the night.  We cannot thank JMEP enough for turning our dreams into a reality and executing the absolute BEST wedding we have ever been to (we may be biased) or could have dreamed of having. JMEP made my wedding an absolute breeze. I am a bit of a control freak by nature, and they took all my worries away with how on top of everything they were. The team is phenomenal, and I can tell Jennifer really cares about her brides. Definitely recommend them for your big day!

When we got engaged back in January 2019 as a lesbian couple living in Florida we were only certain of a few things. We wanted our toes to be in the sand in Siesta Key where we live and raise our family and we wanted our day to be the perfect blend of both of our personalities. I like all the sparkly things in life and she is rustic and rough around the edges. We are both sarcastic and know what we want, but at the end of the day all we wanted was to have an absolutely magical day that was all about us! It didn’t take long for us to decide on a venue, we knew immediately that Sunset Beach Resort on Siesta Key Beach was absolute perfection for us. But, we also knew that we were going to need some help. The same day we signed our venue contract for November 7, 2020, we met with Jennifer Matteo back in January 2019. As a lesbian couple, walking into these meetings can be daunting but Jenn was so welcoming and excited to greet us and learn all about our story. We went over a lot of things on that first day, but we decided to do the full planning since the venue that we were using had to be built from scratch. Jenn and her team were familiar with the venue and the vendors that had done events there and they immediately got right to work. She had the wedding planned in what seemed like 2 months, but we still had so much time to wait until November 2020. Then, the inevitable happened. COVID. Like many others, we ended up having to postpone. We were not willing to change our venue, or our time of year so we ended up waiting ANOTHER 2 years to November 5, 2022. Jenn didn’t flinch. She respected our decision, made the appropriate calls, cancellations, reschedules, AND jokes about their longest running clients! Our one day wedding turned into a whole weekend event that included a private nail party for our wedding party, followed by a tropical themed welcome party complete with Polynesian dancers, coconut drinks, a steel pan band, and the most amazing sunset. But the wedding–exceeded every expectation we ever had. It was literally an exquisite picture of perfection. The attention to detail that Jenn and her team put in was absolutely amazing. Not only did she make sure that if it was important to us, it was important to her but she anticipated and knew things that would make the day just that much more special for us. We gave her the autonomy to not run every single detail by us, and I am so glad that we made that decision. It allowed us to not feel the entire weight of the wedding on our shoulders and feel confident that things were being handled. I know that things didn’t go exactly as planned both nights, but we didn’t know and more importantly, none of our guests would have ever known that. The things that we heard from our guests were “this is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to”, “I can never go to another wedding again”, “this wedding was absolutely a dream”, “absolutely breathtakingly beautiful”. The night ended with fireworks on the beach which was a big surprise for my wife that Jenn and I had been planning for about a year and the boat got stuck but–Jenn handled it. To say thank you doesn’t even seem like enough. You gave us perfection. You know our WHOLE story so you know what that really means to us. Between all the phone calls and meetings, helping with anything from flowers to fonts, everything was made so easy and expertly planned, which definitely showed the day of. We even had family and friends make a point to say how amazing you both were, not only in keeping things going smoothly, but just being great overall to make the day fun - and we couldn’t agree more! Jennifer and her team are true professionals. My mother and I went into the wedding planning process pretty clueless, but once we made the decision to hire JMEP, things quickly started to fall into place. We worked primarily with Bridgette, who I cannot say enough good things about. Her kindness, professionalism, and poise are unmatched. She made the planning process and the wedding day itself as stress-free as possible. Even with curveballs like last minute RSVPs and a shady florist, Bridgette fielded it all with grace. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful she was, and we could not agree more. I would definitely recommend JMEP to anyone planning an event!

When I had to postpone my wedding due to covid, she was the ONLY vendor out of my contracted 7 that charged me more money ($1500) and made me sign a new contract because she knew she was not contractually allowed to charge me more money. I have at least 5 examples of when she emailed the wrong date of *our wedding* or wrong dates for meetings to vendors or potential vendors. Our entire wedding party was uncomfortable with her “attitude” towards us the hours leading up to the ceremony. I won’t get into this too much as it takes 5 minutes on the phone with her to see how abrasive and flat out rude she is. For presenting herself as a “professional wedding planner”, our evening was chaotic. My bridal party was organizing family photos (yes she had assistants at our wedding) -She was completely clueless and unorganized. She needed reminded WHEN WE WERE LINED UP FOR OUR ENTRANCE that we were even doing our first dance after our entrance.. that our entrance was down the stairs of the venue.. and that we wanted people around the dance floor because we were starting with a dance set after our first dance. My groom and bridal party had to *politely* remind Jennifer she was not following the timeline and to get the next part of the evening going — for salads, for speeches, for mother/son dance, for all of it. She told these people and me to “relax”. Jennifer was eating the guests’ appetizers during cocktail hour - highly inappropriate considering she is a vendor and she is to be eating the vendor meal. We also never saw her again after 8pm, even though we paid for “a full planner”. You think a wedding planner is going to support you and speak up for you when you need it with vendors, but three times (with the caterer, our rehearsal dinner restaurant, and hotel block) she did not when we asked her to. As a client, it’s important to realize we go away after our wedding date but she continues to work with these vendors... She pushed vendors on me that she has relationships with and when I said I didn’t like their work or rentals: she didn’t raise a finger to help me find vendors I liked. I honestly struggle to see where she added value at all and she only stressed and upset me from start to finish of the wedding planning process. Our biggest regret of our wedding was hiring JMEP.

I cannot recommend Jennifer and her team enough. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer over a long period of time (thank you COVID) and I never had any doubt that regardless of what was going on in the world, we did not need to worry about anything for our wedding. Through rescheduling, last minute drop-outs due to people being sick and so much more, Jennifer and her team were on top of making sure everything went smoothly. Her style and design truly transformed the already beautiful Powel Crosley Estate into the venue of our dreams. It was so amazing to see the vision we had spoken of come to life. Jennifer has so many contacts in the industry and I knew anyone she recommended would be the best of the best. This was especially key as we are not local to Sarasota and we wanted to make sure the vendors we chose were ones that we would be happy with. We never wanted the day to end. I highly recommend utilizing Jennifer for any special event you are planning.

I don't even know how to begin this review because JMEP was incredible start to finish. Due to COVID, this was my 3rd time planning and now in a different state. Long distance planning is tough to say the least and the JMEP team was there every step of the way reassuring us that the weekend will be incredible. Our wedding weekend was a Catholic Cuban and South Asian fusion weekend with so many different elements and the team did not miss once. The team was on every call with vendors guiding us on what would be best while keeping in mind our budget. Special shout out to Ana Mendez who is such a sweetheart with a calm and friendly presence and was the main contact throughout the process. Bella was present throughout the weekend and Jennifer was present on the final wedding day, and those ladies too were phenomenal. The team always made sure the immediate families were okay, the bride and groom were fed/hydrated and they had great communication with our many vendors. Best decision was hiring this team!! Best weekend of our lives!

The easiest and best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Jennifer Matteo and her team. Not only is Jen and her team incredibly talented, they’re amazing human beings and so much fun to work with. JMEP made the whole process of planning our wedding fun and stress free. From every vendor they recommended, to the show table(s), to every small detail, everything was so amazing!! I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest client they’ve had - I was the annoying bride that changed everything twice- but they never made me feel short of amazing. I don’t even know where to begin because Jennifer and her team are truly beyond words. We decided we wanted to do a destination wedding and had no idea where to start. I found JMEP on Instagram and reached out to see how it works. From that day forward Jennifer was there for me 24/7! She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about planning a perfect wedding. The most important and impressive part to me is her constant communication and responsiveness. She literally made it impossible for me to feel stressed! I would text or call her and immediately she was on it. When it comes to her design skills, they’re unmatched! I would give as much creative freedom to her because she puts together a stunning wedding! She puts in endless hours of communicating, planning, meeting us last minute when we were in town and listening to our every concern. I couldn’t have asked for anyone more perfect to help us during this special year. (Also it was 2020 so the whole covid thing .. won’t even get into it but she helped us navigate it all!) To top it off, the day of she’s there and she is WORKING IT!!! Kept me confident, on schedule, and had every detail of the event running perfectly. There truly is nobody better than JMEP! Amazing doesn’t even come close to describing how wonderful Jennifer and her team are! When our international destination wedding had to be moved thanks to COVID I luckily found Jennifer’s page on the Knot and from our first phone call I knew we would be in excellent hands. She listened to the type of wedding we wanted and had great ideas. She found us the perfect beach location and with her expertise and guidance we also landed an amazing florist, DJ and videographer for our wedding. Hiring her was the best decision and money I spent. She is worth every penny and so much more. I feel like she became a friend and on the day of the wedding I was so calm and relaxed and I know it was not only because I had zero doubts in my choice of husband but also because I knew everything would be done just right because Jennifer and her team were there. I also added the Bridal Concierge program to my package and it was also amazing! Bailey and Claire were a dream and took care of getting both the bridesmaids and groomsmen food, drinks, ice and they took care of steaming the wrinkles out of the clothes. They were so nice and so helpful. I loved working with Jennifer and my only regret is that I don’t live closer so she can plan more parties for me in the future. She is truly a gem to work with and I could not have been luckier to have her and her team plan our dream wedding day!

Where do I begin? 5 stars does not begin to cover what I think JMEP deserves. Jennifer and I hit it off from the day we met almost 2 years ago. From the minute we met, I knew I would be in the best hands. I knew that Jennifer and her team would help my husband and I pull of the wedding of our dreams and allow us to be guests at our very special day. What I did not expect was to be a Covid Bride. What does this mean? Well 11 months into planning our perfect wedding, we were notified we had to postpone due to Covid.. April 2020. Jennifer not only helped us navigate moving our wedding with all 12 vendors in tow to March 2021, but with 4 weeks notice helped us plan a small social distancing wedding at my family home. We started over completely from additional wedding gown, catorer new decor, flowers photography and live music. Most of the original vendors were not able to participate due to Covid, so we were forced to start from scratch. There was no detail left unaccounted for and we were able to have the formal wedding of our dreams for 16 people instead of 140 people. There is no one I would trust more with planning a special day then Jennifer and her team. We have since had our wedding celebration as well on March 5th. This even was also splendid in everyway. Jennifer and her team pulled off an amazing black tie event that my guests are still raving about. There was no detail left unattended and what I loved most is that my groom and I were truly guests at both events. We never worried about one detail either day. Funny enough, but everyone around us kept saying how calm we both were on both days... no small feat for a two people of Italian and Cuban descent. Our answer was Jennifer and her team have this. None of our family and friends truly understood what this meant until they attended each wedding. My groom and I will soon be planning Welcome dinners and weddings of his children and there is only one place I will go JMEP. They are spectacular in every way. Sincerely, Caprice De Falco

JMEP is the wedding planning service that every bride NEEDS in their wedding planning process. Not only is Jenn a true lady boss, she has a fine eye for details, as does everyone on her team. I truly felt like I had another group of friends planning my wedding with me. I hired Jenn over a year before my wedding and no matter how far out our date was, she always responded to emails quickly and helped with whatever I needed. She was a buffer between me and my mother at times (everyone needs that at some point), she put me in touch with the best vendors, and she made my wedding vision become a reality. She made sure everything went according to schedule the day of, and even our guests said that she made the day better! I would 100% recommend AT LEAST her partial planning package, but full planning is really the ticket, as is her Bridal Concierge program. I would book Jenn for every event I have for the rest of my life and would recommend her 10 times over! Best planner and person EVER!

I wish I could give 10 stars or even more! My husband and I cannot stop raving about these girls! They made our wedding day PERFECT! They made sure we had everything we needed and more. Jennifer and her team truly care about their clients and make the day so fun! Jennifer, Bella, and Bridgette were on top of everything in the months leading up to our wedding, they even moved everything inside because of weather with less than 24 hours notice and it still looked AMAZING! You are crazy if you don’t hire these girls! You won’t regret it! I am sad the wedding is over because I loved working with JMEP so so much! Hopefully they can help me plan another event one day!

I could not recommend this team of coordinators enough. Going into the wedding planning process I knew I wanted to do most things myself but I really knew nothing about weddings and knew it wasn't possible. Jennifer, Bridgette, and Bella were there for me literally at any time to get all of my questions either answered or sent to the right person, right then and there. When my thoughts and ideas were jumbled and I couldn't figure out what I wanted they were able to help me make decisions that fit our vision and our original mood board that made everything come together SO perfectly in the end. They were able to handle every detail and made everything go so smoothly. I was shocked at how relaxed I felt the day and week of the wedding! On the morning of the wedding I remember getting a picture from one of the guests that was already at the venue and I remember being in awe of how beautiful our ceremony set up looked. Straight out of pinterest. And when we got to the reception tent, my jaw was on the floor. I knew it was going to be beautiful, but holy smokes. These girls truly have a gift. And on top of everything they did for us, they're honestly just the best people. If you're still looking for your coordinator, these are your people. Trust me, you need them. They will make the greatest day of your life into more of a dream than you could have imagined, promise!

Where do I begin about our experience with Jennifer and her team. When my wife and I met with Jennifer for the first time and were talking about hiring her, I was very skeptical. Back in Kansas, where I’m from, we do everything for the wedding. We find all the vendors, set everything up, work with all the vendors and then tear everything down at the end of the night. I was convinced that we did not need any help and we could do it all ourselves. At first there were many emails back and forth which showed me great communication from her team. During this whole pandemic we were faced with many challenges but perhaps the biggest was when our venue canceled all events within 2 months of our wedding day. Not only was Jennifer able to find us a new, stunning location for the reception but also able to help us make sure everything was moved to this new location. She was able to handle all the communication with our vendors and ensure that everyone knew where to go. When we arrived at the reception we were both absolutely blown away at how everything came together. Needless to say there was no way that we could have done what Jennifer was able to accomplish. The level of detail and amount of work they put into our day was outstanding. I cannot thank JMEP enough for making our day so special!!

Jennifer and her team were beyond wonderful! Not only did they assist with the planning process but amidst the unknown of COVID-19 they helped us to postpone and replan as necessary helping to ensure all our vendors were available and that all our T’s were crossed and i’s were dotted. Jennifer and her team pulled everything together to provide us with a fun filled beautiful stress free day. I would hire them again for any event from birthday parties to anniversaries they were absolutely phenomenal! I had a concept and vision i wanted very specific, i gave Jen colors and an idea of what i saw as our perfect wedding day, things that spoke to the personality and heart of myself and my husband. Much like the rest of you posting , my wedding venue was cancelled on me at the last minute . I had planned my own wedding in CA and when it cancelled 8 weeks prior I picked up the phone and called Jennifer !! Not only did she move the wedding to a new venue in Tennessee she assisted in getting back all my money from the prior location . I have great things to say about the JMEP team! They exceeded all my expectations and were always available and willing to answer questions . Jennifer saved us thousands of dollars in contract negotiations with several vendors . She brought with her The Tailored Twig and they are just as amazing . It was a dream wedding in the mist of Covid !!! The attendees are raving about the event . Thank you JMEP

Where to start. Bert and I were meant to be married May, 16, 2020. Unfortunately due to recent current events, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding until September 2020. Fellow brides, if there is one thing I can recommend is hiring Jennifer Matteo and her team as your wedding planner. A wedding postponement as you could imagine could be stressful and emotional but Jennifer and her team made it anything but that. They were able to reschedule everything for us in a stress free and seamless fashion. Jennifer and her team are very communicative and responsive to all questions and concerns we have had in our process of planning the original wedding and the postponed wedding!

Jennifer and her team are wonderful! My husband and I had a destination wedding in early January 2020. I really appreciated Jennifer's approach to working with clients: direct while supporting us throughout the planning process. We started working with her 18 months prior to our wedding and were going for a vibe rather than specific theme. My fella and I both spent our 20's as restaurant professionals and are extremely particular on food and service. Jennifer rose to the occasion and kept things simple, detailed, and relaxing for us. Here's a couple things we wanted: - Vibe: Dinner party, relaxed and focused on our guests (think Alice in Wonderland mad-hatter tea-party table) - Food & dining service: Family style meal, servers seamlessly ensuring everyone was taken care of, whole fish and whole ribeye - Style: colorful, quality, simple, purposeful - Venue: We wanted a house where we could host the wedding. We wanted our parents, siblings, and us could all stay together I'd like to recognize that Jennifer's style (as you will see in these other reviews and on her Instagram account) is much more polished and pumped up than ours, we were so happy with our time with Jennifer and how much she respected us and our vision. I greatly respect her ability to hear what her client wants and guide them through the process while not adding in her personal style unless requested. Jennifer did a wonderful job making sure we had the right venders, right vibe, and when issues arose (as they inevitably do) she pushed to make things right. She made decisions when I didn't want to (for example, flowers stress me out so she took our vision and budget and took charge of the flowers) and anticipated our needs. I felt very supported through the process. Something else delightful that Jennifer does is she matches your day-of planner with you based on personality. I love this! She paired us with Ryann and Bridgett - which couldn't have been a better match. Ryann is calm, collected and dedicated. The whole team did an incredible job under really unfavorable circumstances - it DUMPED rain the day of our wedding (which was entirely outside). Because of this we weren't able to get many detail-photos (nor were we able to include the full vision as planned), but I have shared what I could find :-). Highly recommend, I would work with Jennifer and her team again in a flash and hope to someday to have the excuse to!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the JMEP team! They exceeded all of my expectations. I used Jennifer and her team as a month of coordinator but she was always available and willing to answer any and all questions I had along the way. All of the vendors she recommended were amazing and easy to work with. I am an extremely detail oriented person and she made sure I had all the information I needed and responded to all of my emails almost immediately. As far as the day of, every single detail was perfect. Donnamarie and Bridgette handled everything and did it flawlessly. My guests have not stopped raving about all the details and how beautiful everything looked. The best part is I didn’t have to think about anything the day of, I had zero stress and that says a lot coming from a micromanager! Everything got delivered and done on time and executed perfectly.
