With all the specialty attention of a luxury bridal sewing atelier, passionate care for wedding gowns, and true joy in being part of your most important day, our brides and grooms love our services.
Jennifer and her team are comfortable working with the finest designer gowns including Galia Lahav, Claire Pettibone, Jenny Peckham, Liancarlo, Matthew Christopher, Naeem Khan, Robert Bullock, Anne Barge, Carolina Herrera, Lela Rose, Vera Wang, and more. We work with all types of fabric fibers, including silk, cotton, wool, rayon and more. We are able to work with all types of fabric weaves, including Alençon lace, chiffon, charmeuse, duchess satin, crepe-back satin, georgette, dupioni, organza, taffeta, tulle, netting and others.

Jennifer was amazing. I was so impressed that she could alter my dress and take the size from a size 10 to 0-2. I had many concerns about the functionality and comfortability of the dress, which were addressed and taken care of. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with, she listened to all my concerns and ensured they were all taken care of before I picked up the dress. I was never worried about her getting the dress done, she made sure over the 7 months we worked together she was able to work around our busy schedule and take care of us on the weekends. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She also was able to assist my husband with his custom suit to ensure he also looked amazing. Jennifer's studio is tucked away in the most beautiful and peaceful area of Haiku HI, making for an amazing experience.
From start to finish, my experience with Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Her kind manner, attention to detail, punctuality and amazing skill in her work was outstanding. I came to her with a dress that needed a little adjustment and she was very prompt in getting me an appointment and making sure everything fit perfectly before doing the final alteration. I love her beautiful studio and how comfortable I felt working with her. When it came time to pick up my dress- it fit like a glove! So pleased with my decision to have Jennifer alter my wedding gown. From my first phone conversation with her, I knew I made the right choice. Jennifer turned a pretty gown I picked out in the store to my wedding dress.
Despite some moving parts including coordinating the arrival of my gown and mom from NJ for my first fitting, Jennifer was always kind, conscious, and accommodating. With a pushed-up timeline, I never once felt rushed; Jennifer was patient and attentive from the first to final fitting, listening and delivering on my expectations for fit and style.
The dress required some creativity for the bustle and care to the intricacies of the bodice and many layers: all which Jennifer executed beautifully. Jennifer is truly a master of her craft and an absolute delight to work with. I am so pleased with what is now truly my wedding dress.

Jenniferʻs work was impeccable!! My wife and I both brought our dresses to her to be taken in and altered. She not only was able to make our dresses ffit so perfectly, but was able to make them "our own" with beautiful little modifications and suggestions. Jennifer took in a made to measure suit that had a couple of areas that needed adjusting due to personal preference. She was patient, kind, gave insightful professional input that made the whole experience a breeze. She was timely, responsive and detail oriented. I greatly appreciated working with her and would recommend her again in a heartbeat to anyone needing alterations!
Jennifer was lovely to work with, had great ideas and was really innovative with what I needed for my dress. She built the bustle beautifully and altered the top of my dress as I had a baby between buying the dress and actually getting married (COVID)! I felt so supported and was very happy in my dress!!!! Jennifer and her team exceeded my bridal parties expectations on all levels.

Jennifer worked tirelessly on my dress. She made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. We met multiple times for fits until it was just perfect. She is so lovely to work with and an extremely kind human being. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for alterations.

Jennifer is the best. She had tailored a few bridesmaid dresses for me so when it came time to do my wedding dress, she was a no brainer! She really listens to everything, considers everything, and has an amazing attention to detail. I had a “simple” dress (notoriously difficult to tailor) that I had to buy larger to fit my hips but I was swimming in everywhere else and she did such a fantastic job bringing it in so it fit like a glove. She also quickly tailored a pantsuit for me to change into last minute in addition to my husbands suit. The cherry on top is her very reasonable prices and sweet disposition. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a seamstress on Maui!

I am so thankful I put value in having a custom experience. In the beginning my fiancé said if you decide to spend the money and go this route, I don’t want to bring up the money again. This was so helpful in living the experience without unnecessary negative emotions, I could purely enjoy the customization process. During fittings I was heart warmed to realize the dress needed to be adjusted or problem solved never something about my body that needed changing. I went thru all of the fitting feeling completely perfect with my body the way it is. Jennifer and her team gave the dress so much attention. She is so creative, skillful and clever with her process. On my last fitting, I told everyone I was going to be on the beautiful bride list. At 51, that felt so good to be able to say. This is because of Jennifer and her team. I had complete trust in the process. In addition, Jennifer made herself available pre wedding and during the reception that put another connection of care and love into the life of the dress. I am grateful to have these memories as a bride.
Jennifer did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. When I went for my first fitting, I wasn't sure what to expect and thought I would only need a hem and bustle. I asked Jennifer for her honest opinion, and she kindly suggested adjusting the waistline and bust of my dress. Her work was nothing short of fantastic—I thought I loved my dress when I first bought it, but with her alterations, my dress looked like it was made for me! You can tell how well my dress fits me in numerous candid photos at my wedding. Jennifer's pricing is extremely fair for the quality work she does, and she was very flexible with my busy schedule. When I expressed concerns about my weight fluctuation, she offered to do another fitting as we got closer to my wedding date, and that really put my mind at ease. You will not regret working with Jennifer!
Jennifer did an incredible job altering my off-the-rack Oscar de la Renta dress. Her craftsmanship was flawless, the price was very reasonable, and she did her work efficiently and communicated well.
I originally purchased my dress from a bridal shop in Alameda, CA and after 4 months of alterations and numerous fittings the final product was far less than what I had been picturing. I arrived on Maui 6 days before my wedding utterly devastated that I would not be walking down the aisle in my dream dress. I was given Jennifer's information and within hours of sending her an email she responded that she would be willing to help and take a look at the dress the day after I landed to see what she could do.
I showed up early to our meeting at her shop and while I was waiting another shop owner stopped to ask me if I had an appointment with Jennifer as she usually did not come into the shop on the day that I was there - this was my first clue that Jennifer was the kind of person to go above and beyond in order to provide an amazing experience for her client. After meeting her and showing her the problems I had with the dress she immediately got to work, I was fully prepared to have to come back on another day to see any changes but to my shock she completed the alterations within 30 minutes. After a few more quick try-ons and small alterations she had not only completely fixed the issues I had originally brought to her attention but she also fitted the dress to my body in ways that the original alterations team had told me were not possible. The whole process took less than 2 hours from start to finish and I was able to walk out of her shop that same day with a truly perfect fitting dress that I felt confident and beautiful in.
Jennifer went so far above and beyond what I could have expected. She is remarkably talented and her attention to detail is outstanding. Working with Jennifer was truly one of the best experiences in my wedding planning and I cannot recommend her enough, her talent is unbeatable, her energy and demeanor are that of a fairy godmother and she is exactly the kind of person you want to put your trust in for your big day!

Jennifer Oberg is truly a master of her trade! There was NO ONE else I would trust altering a family legacy heirloom wedding gown from 1940 - worn by 5 women in my family including my grandmother. She was able to alter it to fit my preferred style and body (which was making it sleeveless) while also preserving all original elements so at any point in the future it could be returned to it's original state. She also worked with me to envision the creation of a veil from vintage 1940's pieces, as well as a peacock feather headpiece to the floor. I also worked with her to alter a vintage mermaid sequin style gown into a dress that I plan to wear, someday, at our underwater wedding ceremony which was cancelled due to COVID. Jennifer is a consummate professional, super talented, highly experienced, and as I started it, I would literally trust no one else the way I trust her with my dream dresses.
I loved working with Jennifer. I felt that my simple set of alterations to a vintage gown were treated so respectfully. I felt cared for and about. I loved how my dress turned out, on time!
Jennifer and her entire team were a total dream to work with. After a few crises at other places, I was dress-less just two months before my wedding. I went to Jennifer with my concept and she created my dress from scratch! She has an expert eye for detail and was also very conscious of costs in materials, which I really appreciated. I was prepared for a high-stress experience so close to the wedding date, but Jennifer and her team were so sweet, smooth, and enjoyable to work with! Not a second of stress and I have nothing but gratitude for everyone over there. I truly can't recommend them enough.
I am so grateful for Jennifer, who did a beautiful job hemming my dress. I contacted Jennifer with a (very) last minute request, and she reassured me immediately that we would get it done and invited me into her studio the next day to start the alteration. It was clear straightaway that Jennifer is very meticulous and detail-oriented, and puts the utmost care and attention into her work. She made sure to hem my dress just right, and was so kind and thoughtful in assuring me that it would be ready for my wedding (which was only a few days away). Nobody wants to feel stressed out in those moments leading up to their wedding, and Jennifer was very empathetic and made me feel special and cared for. Jennifer is the best!!! I was so nervous about getting my wedding dress altered, knowing literally NOTHING about the process, but Jennifer made it all so easy and simple! It's very evident that she is super experienced and knowledgeable, and made wonderful suggestions. My dress didn't initially have a bustle, but had a long train, and she put in a 5 pin bustle and gave my maid of honor instructions on how to do it on the day of the wedding. I got so many compliments on not only my dress, but also my bustle!! I'm large chested, and my dress was strapless, and jennifer helped make it feel so sturdy so that i wouldn't have to be pulling it up all night. Overall a wonderful experience! Plus she has the cutest shop and dressing room.

You can feel her love and passion for her talent and clients in every detail. My wife is really petite, making it really difficult to find clothing that fits well. After Jennifer worked her magic, My wife felt like the suit was custom made to fit her exactly right. It looked perfect. My dress was one size too big, but I fell in love and purchased it anyway. Jennifer was able to take it in and add the perfect bustle. I felt like I was in a dream. It fit incredible, I felt amazing. She was warm and welcoming, friendly and compassionate. Her work is unmatched and we couldn’t have been happier with how beautifully she pieced together the attire for our special day.
Jen was INCREDIBLE to say the least. She was able to flawlessly take my dress from a size 12 to a size 2. It was a very tricky puzzle for her and she embraced the massive challenge! One week before the wedding, my dress came back from the cleaner with a ripple on the butt and it was shrunk, I couldn't get it zipped! I let Jen know the issue and was panicking about how to fix the dress in such a short period of time. Jen called me from Paris (she was on vacation!) and talked me through everything. She scheduled someone she knew in the area to do the new alterations and even paid for them. She went above and beyond for me and I'm so grateful for her expertise, professionalism and follow-through. She is such a talented woman, I drive by her old Denver studio a lot and think of her often. I would recommend her services over and over again.
