BEWARE: JENNY IS A SCAMMER & A THIEF
Our wedding had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to a COVID outbreak affecting our venue's staff. While all of our other vendors had ...
been understanding and offered to reschedule their services at no extra cost or offer refunds if they were unable to reschedule, Jenny offered to do neither. I understand not being able to refund money lost on flowers that were already purchased, but she also refused to refund money that would have gone toward the labor of arranging and delivering the flowers.
However, the shadiest part of dealing with her came when we went to collect the flowers we had paid for. When we arrived at her shop (a day before the scheduled wedding date) she presented us with a small bouquet of wilted flowers (which did not include the correct greens we had ordered). I asked for the remainder of the flowers and she said that she would not give them to us because they were not ours, and that the money we paid her was not for the flowers but for the runners, centerpieces and other arrangements.
The arrangements were all 100% flowers (runners and garland centerpieces) and when I pointed out that the arrangements would have been made with the flowers we were picking up, she would shake her head and begin speaking in circles. My fiancée and I are fully convinced that she had either sold these flowers for pure profit at our expense or used them for other clients' arrangements after we told her the wedding had to be rescheduled. After our experience we contacted several other florists who all agreed that we should have at least been given our flowers.
She kept our money, and kept our flowers and wanted to charge us again from the ground up for doing the new date. Never working with her again and I would advise anyone getting married to steer clear of her.
We don’t need flowers! That was my answer to my now Wife when I received our first quote from another florist. I was done. The budget was way over what we planned, surprise, sur...
prise! And I did not see the point of it. Upon a discussion about other things at Dyker Beach Golf Course, Lila grabbed me and said, “go see Jenny across the street, you will love her”. With about as much skepticism as you can possibly gather, My Wife and I went over to see Jenny. She patiently listened to what My Wife wanted and my budget (about 0 at start) and put our story together. What came out from Her and the staff was simply magical. The ceremony patio was something out of a movie. The attention and effort she herself gave us, was incredible and well worth every dollar. Jenny, you are a Master at what you do, Thank you !
I've been buying bouquets from Jenny's for years, and her arrangements have always been amazing. When the time came to book a florist, I knew I could trust Jenny to do the job. She...
surpassed my already high expectations. My wedding flowers were everything I dreamed of and more. The best part was, she was such a pleasure to work with. She spent a ton of time listening to my ideas and providing helpful input. She really made an effort to make sure I got what I wanted and at a reasonable price. Everything was absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a florist, do not hesitate to book Jenny's Flower!!!
Jenny was one of my favorite vendors to work with through the wedding planning process!
Her calm and generous demeanor is a gift -- especially when curveballs or logistical detail...
s came into play. I also think she is just a really sweet person, and I enjoyed working with her throughout the process. You can tell she deeply cares about her product and her customers.
Her florals are outstanding. We switched directions several times through the process (due to various venue issues and sometimes just my change in preference), and she was always beyond generous with her time and insight. She intuitively understood what I was looking for, and made it happen in a way that was 100 times better than I'd envisioned.
I was blown away by flowers on my wedding, and really with the whole experience from top to bottom. I can't recommend her highly enough.
We absolutely loved Jenny's work at our wedding. From the moment we met her, she knew exactly what would look amazing with our venue, and we knew that she would do a great job. Je...
nny produced exactly what we had discussed and she was a pleasure to work with. She gave great advice and made sure that we stayed within our budget and still got exactly what we wanted. Her centerpieces were stunning; our guests loved them!
What really made us know that we chose the right florist for our wedding was how she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She had never seen our venue before, so she traveled all the way there to see the ceremony space, took pictures, and met with us to let us know what se would be able to make in that space (she did all of this before we even gave her a deposit). She showed us what our centerpieces would look like and then worked with us to modify them so that they would look perfect inside the reception area.
Jenny even make the flower topper for our wedding cake- and she made sure she was there to put it on the cake when it arrived at the venue so that it looked perfect.
We absolutely loved working with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful florist who can work within a budget and still give amazing results.
Jenny was part of the reason why I absolutely loved my wedding. I wanted it to be clean, simple, and elegant. Everything that I envisioned what the flowers, center pieces, and ar...
ch would look like was expertly executed. She took the time to meet with me long before the wedding and asked me questions about what I wanted. I didn't realize SO much goes into the flower arrangements and planning! I started feeling overwhelmed but she noticed and asked me to come in the next week to see a sample centerpiece. It was EXACTLY what I pictured it to look like in my head. Big calla lilies submerged in water with rocks on the bottom and a floating water candle on top. Beautiful. I knew then that she would do an amazing job with my wedding, and she did.
She even recommended that I do an arch for the venue and I naively thought that I could buy one and make it myself. Thank goodness I didn't! The intricate details and draping that Jenny did was perfect. My mouth dropped open when I saw how beautiful Jenny made the place look. My bouquet was also exactly what I wanted it to look like.
I highly highly recommend Jenny's Flowers for big events like weddings. I'm so happy I went with this florist because she genuinely cares that your wedding looks beautiful. I had a tight budget for flowers and she worked miracles to make the arrangements and arch look amazing.
Jenny is an amazing florist. She had setup many of my friend's wedding and I couldn't wait until she did ours. I loved our centerpieces and bouquet. She is a creative individual. L...
