We used Jessica Ashley Events for our daughter’s wedding on our farm in Castleton Virginia this past May. Jessica and her team were fabulous to work with. They are creative, extremely organized and passionate about wedding planning. We were so impressed with all of her recommendations for vendors and the level of professionalism. When the heavens opened up and it poured rain for 20 minutes, her team scrambled to keep all our guests dry and happy. We are tremendously grateful we found Jessica and her team!
My dream lux wedding came to life with the team at JAE! We honestly did not want it to end. If you're planning a wedding - JAE is the way to go and 100% worth the investment. The communication, attention to detail, presenting to us the vision and design we had in our heads to a look-book was beyond. Everyone was on top of it. I am very organized person and this team was my favorite for how well they kept every contract, vendor, POC's in order. The whole JAE team feels like part of our family now!
I had the great fortune of connecting with Jessica for a one-on-one mentor session last fall. Throughout our conversation she was so warm and supportive that it felt like catching up with an old friend. Tapping into her years of experience and deep understanding of the luxury market, she shared a wealth of very specific and actionable advice that I’m eager to apply to my own wedding business. Her team members were also so incredibly responsive, kind and helpful. Jessica is an open book, a true professional, and a genuine supporter of everyone forging their own path in the event industry.
As the Mother of the Bride, I can honestly say that Jessica Ashley and her team provided me with one of the most memorable weekends of my life! I had no logistics to worry about, as I had complete confidence that Jessica would run the event with clock-like precision (and she did!). Jessica and her team enabled me to be fully present for every moment of the lovely ceremony and reception, splendidly designed by Jessica with spring wildflowers and lovely pops of blue and peach. Jessica’s creative suggestions, such as the “Fun Facts” cocktail napkins and the charming cake cart, added wonderful personal touches to the event. What a thrill to see my daughter and son-in-law so happy and relishing their special day. The guests seemed relaxed and eager to join in the festivities. We all had so much fun! At the farewell brunch the next day, Jessica arrived early for vendor set-up, and all I had to do was roll out of bed, grab a cup of coffee, and show up to receive my guests! Jessica already had the soundtrack playing, the slideshow running, and the mimosa bar chilled and waiting!
Jessica has a fantastic support team (special shout-out to her executive assistant, Sarah, who is a dynamo and kept multiple channels of communication running with efficiency and good cheer). Jessica also has an elite network of vendors with whom she regularly works. My daughter and I accepted every vendor suggestion she made, and we were not disappointed! My dream for my daughter was to have an elegant, magical, and relaxed wedding, and the Jessica Ashley Events team made my dream come true!
Working with Jessica Ashley Events (JAE) was the single best wedding planning decision that my husband and I made. 20/10! We worked with Jessica and her team for 18 months and engaged them for full planning, including venue selection, design, logistics, day-of coordination, and more. It may seem like a large upfront cost, but paid off tremendously over the course of the planning process and saved us 100s of hours of our own time and worry.
Jessica, Sarah, and the team are hands down amazing. They orchestrated a seamless, low-stress, and memorable wedding weekend for us. In particular, JAE:
- Designed a cohesive, beautiful, and very “us” aesthetic for our wedding and Sunday brunch send-off events. The team took our feedback and iterations well, and the final result was stunning!
- Listened to and concentrated on our priorities, which were “guest experience” and “easy on our families” (i.e. good logistics). Jessica led with this in every call and clearly prioritized what we asked for throughout the process.
- Communicated proactively and professionally throughout the entire 18 months, to include constant email communications and regular video conferences (weekly as of a month out). Jessica never made us feel rushed during these check-ins and always took the time to fully answer our questions.
- Introduced us to and facilitated top-notch vendor connections that we otherwise would not have found or had access to. JAE and their preferred vendors work together like a well-oiled machine, and our stress levels were very low as a result! We had full faith in Jessica’s recommendations, and our vendors delivered!
- Advocated for us and always had our best intentions - and budget - as their priorities. We truly felt JAE was “in our corner” and not “just” doing business with us. JAE was invested and wanted to achieve our vision for the wedding. We completely trusted Jessica’s recommendations and guidance, which helped create a smooth, fun weekend.
- Delivered masterful logistics: Sarah and Jessica crushed all logistics, from the shuttle schedules to vendor management on the day-of, to timing and more. For me, their spot-on organization and logistics are the X-factor that make JAE great. When you hire JAE, you will never have to sweat the small details, as the team has it all covered. They make otherwise extremely difficult situations (e.g., inclement weather, last minute RSVPs, vendor turn-over, etc.) incredibly easy, which allowed us to focus on each other and our guests. Not having to worry about what was happening behind the scenes on our wedding day (e.g., vendor staging, handing out tip money, ensuring shuttles were on time, who has the rings, etc.) was tremendous.
We highly recommend working with a planner from start to finish, and JAE is THE planner to work with in the DC/VA/MD area. Our wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful, effortless, and enjoyable had we not worked with them. Love Jessica and her entire team!
There were times when we doubted ourselves and our sense of style but the team at Jessica Ashley Events (JAE) was able to pinpoint our vision and build on it. We wanted our union in love and marriage to be a reflection of ourselves and we could not have asked for a more perfect partnership than with JAE. All attendees at our recent wedding loved the themes, the amazing florals, the way the ceremony was held, and the meaning of every minor detail that was carefully curated by Jessica's services. We did not know the meaning of chic until we worked with JAE!
Working with Jessica was the greatest experience. Whenever people ask me how my wedding was turned into my absolute dream, I always say I had the best wedding planner on earth (and I’m not exaggerating). She made it ALL happen. Jessica and her mom were complete lifesavers on my wedding day. We had them as month of coordinators and they did so much more than that. They handled every single detail on my wedding day and made sure I didn't have to lift a finger. We had several calls to ensure they understood everything I envisioned. The wedding was at a family home, so we had a LOT of vendors. They communicated with all of my vendors and kept records of everything. Everything day of went perfectly!!! They were there to help me change, ensure everything I needed was at my table, and were SO incredibly helpful. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
Jessica was referred by a friend and hiring her was the best decision I made for my wedding! She is organized, attentive to details, creative, and very responsive. She knows and works well with all the vendors. She came up with a beautiful design, and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend her!
I worked with Jessica for the design of my wedding, and after going through the whole process, only wish we had used her for full planning! Jessica helped articulate and bring our vision to life, and helped us incorporate unique elements to our relationship into the day. Jessica has a great eye, she's practical as it relates to budget, and she is so kind. I would recommend her to anyone!
If I had to describe Jessica in one word it would be..AMAZING! We booked her for partial planning and design and it was pretty much the best investment ever. Our wedding was originally planned for 2020 but as the story goes, covid. We postponed until 2021 and during the entire time, Jessica maintained communication, checked in on us. Whenever I would stress, she would jump on the phone with me and put me at ease. Fast forward to weeks prior to our wedding, Jessica maintained communication with all of our vendors, ensured everything was set. I mean, literally, I did not worry about a thing the weeks leading up to my wedding! Jessica is very detail-oriented, organized, and overall just a great person to be around. Did I mention her team is also equally as amazing?! Sarah, her assistant provided quick responses to all emails. Emma & Joanna were amazing on our wedding day! The design Jessica came up with was breathtaking, everything we imagined and more. If I could relive my wedding day I would because it was pure perfection, and I would definitely hire Jessica again!
Aside from marrying my husband, choosing Jessica as my planner and designer was the best decision I made for my wedding weekend. I'm a COVID bride that has had a crazy wedding experience, and there's no way I could have navigated it all without Jessica's expertise, stellar ideas, professionalism, and just awesome personality.
My original wedding planner decided to change careers during the pandemic, and our wedding venue also tried to change our contract on us. Panicking as I now didn't have a planner or a wedding venue, I reached out to my HMU artist who immediately recommended Jessica. As soon as I hopped on the Zoom call with Jessica I fell in love with her upbeat energy and unique ideas, and booked her immediately for our wedding weekend.
My fiance is Indian and I'm American so we decided to have a 3-day event: a Hawaiian-themed rehearsal dinner/Pitti celebration on Friday, a Jewish wedding on Saturday, and an Indian wedding on Sunday. As you can imagine, that's no small feat to coordinate and I was freaking out with less than 9 months to get it all done. *Cue Rihanna "we found love in a hopeless place"* when Jessica stepped in.
She prioritized the things that needed to be done first, found me a fantastic stationary person and florist, helped us book our band, and got to work designing both weddings. I loved all of her ideas that really helped our wedding be as personal as possible for my husband and I. We loved craft cocktails, so she found us a mobile bar that served our cocktails on tap, which was a huge hit. She also suggested so many little details (cute straws, custom paper napkins for cocktail hour, a cool escort display) that didn't break the bank and helped our wedding stand out.
While I was thrilled with the planning and design, where Jessica blew me away was with the coordination. She had a team of 4 people with walkie talkies expertly managing every step of our wedding, which was crucial since we got married at a massive venue with events that were very spread out. My parents were initially skeptical at the cost of hiring her and her team, but after just the rehearsal they couldn't stop complimenting the team and feel like it's the best investment we made for the wedding. Jessica's incredible mom also was part of the team, and let me tell you, she was the ultimate hype woman who made me feel so confident and happy. Emma was also fantastic and made me feel like they had the event so under control.
I couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Jessica and team, and I am so so grateful for everything she did for us. I miss texting her every day and would plan another event (is a 1-year vow renewal too much??) just to be able to work with her again. She is one of a kind!
Who knew! To say that Jessica and her team were amazing, would be an understatement. Being the MOB, I never understood why a wedding planner was even necessary. Well, after this weekend, and two amazing weddings, I can say with 100% certainty Jessica and her team are not only appreciated, but necessary. With all the craziness that comes with a wedding, it is nice to know that your special day is in the hands of a team that is capable of handling any situation with decorum, grace, and confidence.
I’ve run companies for a long time and have been around a lot of people over the years but the professionalism Jessica and her team bring are some of the best I’ve ever seen. When I watched Jesica who was on-site the entire 3 day weekend show the staff how the bride wanted the napkins folded I knew she was detail oriented. 2020 has been a very difficult year in terms of wedding planning--something I experienced firsthand. When our first destination wedding was cancelled due to COVID, Jessica stepped in to help us plan the perfect wedding locally. I was completely overwhelmed by the idea of planning another wedding, but Jessica made the process simple and enjoyable. She has a great relationship with vendors and also truly listens to her brides which made it so easy to plan again. Beyond her talents as a planner and designer, she is such a kind person and for that, I am so grateful to have worked with her.
I wasn’t sure if I needed a wedding planner. Since we selected a venue that already had a full staff of coordinators, I was on the fence if we needed another vendor to invest in. Not only was I unsure on a planner, but I didn’t even consider outsourcing assistance with design as I already had a specific vision for the color palette and style. Fast forward to present day and I can now confirm that hiring Jessica Ashley for planning and design was one of the BEST decisions I made as a Bride. I’m confident that our wedding day was magical and enjoyable because of Jessica’s unparalleled talents.
I had a long list of design ideas and Jessica was able to take my screenshots and Pinterest boards to effortlessly curate an executable vision. Planning a wedding comes with so many decisions, and although I had a great tribe of family and friends, it was extremely helpful to have a trusted style expert as my guide.
Jessica cheered on my over the top ideas that no one else understood (i.e Champagne Wall Seating Display). She also had the ability to provide honest feedback on what was not worth my time or energy. (I love making extravagant balloon garlands and I’m so glad that Jessica advised me to leave the decorating to the vendor team so I could soak in time with loved ones.)
Thank you Jessica for going over and above not only as a wedding planner but also a therapist, coach, seamstress, problem solver, and bodyguard. 10/10 recommend Jessica Ashley Events for any bride in the DMV area!

Jessica was literally the best! Prewedding she helped my wife and I to find A+ vendors within our budget. She answered all our questions to the best of her knowledge with the years she has been in the business. She was very open minded when it came to ideas we wanted for the wedding and reception but also gave great advice on some dos and don'ts from her experience. On the day of she was attentive, kept the whole wedding on schedule, and was so sweet and nice by asking if me or any of my groomsmen needed anything throughout the day. She even saved the day when mine and my brother's suit came without a tie! She dealt the situation very calmly and went got 2 ties from a store close by and fixed it all with ease. I didn't just feel like a client. I felt like her friend. If you aren't hiring Jessica, are you really hiring a wedding planner?
I can't say enough good things about Jessica and her team. Our daughter married her high school sweetheart and was going to college full time during planning. Jessica not only made her vision a reality, but handled every tiny detail. Literally everything was taken care of and spectacular - food, flowers, design, invitations, makeup, hair, dj, transportation. She even helped us surprise our daughter and now husband with the Hokie Bird and a performance from her a cappella group. We have gotten so many compliments on everything - everyone said it was the most special wedding they have ever been to. Again, Jessica brought it all to life and it was truly a stress free process (not sure when I have ever said that before!). We were all able to enjoy the celebration of this special marriage on this special day.

Her relationships, design expertise, and support led to an outstanding experience not just for us, but for our guests that mean the world to us. 14 months after our introductory call, Jessica was able to bring that design plan to life and create the most special day of our lives!
Hiring Jessica Ashley was the best decision that we could have made when planning our wedding. She was thorough, kind, reassuring, positive, and has the most amazing attention to details. Jessica works with Rebecca who was equally amazing with all the things. Jessica was happy to work with me, my (now) husband, my mom, and my (now) mother in law. She worked with all of the people that I threw at her, and she was equally accessibly to them as she always was with me. She was so flexible, accommodating, and professional, and when our choices were a bit atypical for a wedding, she was NEVER judgmental and worked with us to make it all a reality. Jessica has the best relationships with vendors, and made amazing recommendations. She also worked super well with our venue, a place where she had never worked before. The coordinator at our venue was so thankful that she was leading the charge, because she was so organized, thorough, and detail oriented. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was reassuring, fun, kept things moving super smoothly, and was able to manage all of the emotions and stress of me, my husband, and our families with a smile on her face. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Jessica and Jessica Ashley Events. I would recommend Jessica to anyone ever. We are endlessly grateful that we hired JAE.
I highly recommend Jessica Ashley Events for day of and/or full wedding and design planning. I had just about 6 months to plan a wedding (which was a first for me as it is for many brides) on top of a very busy full time job. But I'm fairly ambitious and went off to tackle it on my own. After booking the venue and a few vendors on my own, I realized I had no interest in spending the next 4 months completely stressed out. Don't underestimate how much time and effort is required to research and plan a successful wedding! Thankfully a close friend recommended Jessica to swoop in and save me. I had a fairly good idea of the overall look and feel I wanted and Jess' design expertise was critical in bringing that vision to life. She has great vendor recommendations for all budgets (I used Cakes by Marium and Buttercups Floral) and I recommend using as many of her referrals as possible since they have experience working together. We did a lot of DIY decor elements to help with costs and Jess and Rebecca made it so that we did not have to lift a finger on our big day. The design execution came out better than I anticipated and the best part was that I didn't have to manage any of it on my own. Jess and Rebecca have a great design sense and exude professionalism and expertise. Bottom line - if you are looking for a stress free, beautifully designed wedding, Jess is your girl. 10/10, would absolutely book again!
Jessica planned the most incredible baby shower of our dreams. My husband and I prayed so long for this baby so it was very important for us to have an amazing time for our friends and family. She took my random Pinterest ideas and turned them into a reality. From every single detail to idea, she sketched them out and they became my reality. I wish I had her for our wedding! Anyone that says you can't plan a wedding in 2 months didn't do what we did with Jessica! It's definitely possible to pull off a great wedding in a short amount of time with someone as talented as Jessica!
AMAZING! That is just the first word that comes to mind :) Jessica was my best friends wedding planner and seeing how happy and how at peace she made my bestie feel on her special day made me so happy. I loved getting to meet her after hearing rave reviews about her, and she did not disappoint! She would even make a point to come find me and ask if i had any thoughts on certain things knowing that I knew the bride better than anyone. Which I thought was so sweet and thoughtful! If you are looking for a top notch event planner, Jessica is your girl! 100% without a doubt! When I got engaged, I had no clue where to start with planning my wedding. I knew I needed a planner to help me, but I didn’t know how much I needed Jessica. She knows literally all there is to know about weddings! On the day of my wedding, Jessica came in like the rockstar she is and completely handled everything! I was 100% stress-free on my wedding day and that was such a relief. I didn’t have to do a single thing but sit back and relax with my girls! My dad came up to me and said “you won’t believe how beautiful it all looks”. She made magic happen. I was completely blown away walking into the ceremony and into the reception. All of our ideas came to life and I am still in awe at how beautiful every single detail was! Everything flowed and ran so smoothly. I honestly couldn’t have pictured our day going any better.
Not only do I think the world of Jessica, but my family could not get over how efficient, thorough, organized, and professional she was. They were blown away with Jess on our wedding day. My bridesmaids said “she is literally a superwoman!” and I couldn’t agree more. Jessica is the most organized, dedicated and driven person I have ever met. Not only do I feel like I had the world’s best planner, but I feel like I gained a friend in the process. Jessica is truly an amazing person and I couldn’t have picked a better person to help me plan my big day. She was my superwoman for sure. I just can’t say enough good things about her.

How do you write a review for someone who deserves so much more than words? My sister got married this past weekend and it was AB-SO-LUTE-LY out of this world.
She has been working with Jess for the last year or so on all of the details for her special day. And, if you know my sister, this means I’ve had to be right there with her to reassure her that she’s making the right choice. Jess was always so accommodating to include me when she knew a decision would be more involved than a simple, “yes or no.” And I can assure you, my sister appreciated that so much.
So, even though I’ve only been on the sidelines working with Jess, I’m at a loss for words regarding her incredible drive, focus, organization, sense of style, willingness to go far beyond the norm, knowledge and desire to ensure you have the most amazing wedding of your dreams.
Her professionalism and rapport with her amazing vendors makes the process of picking and choosing so seamless. Jess made the time leading up to the wedding down to the final moments so easy and stress-free.

I would not have had the wedding of my dreams without Jessica. From day 1 she was there for me. She always answered my calls and texts, she always saw my vision and was there with ideas. While she was out running errands she would text me with items she would find that would add that special touch to the wedding. She was always one step ahead of me so that when I had my panic moment, she had the solution, no hesitation! Jessica always made me feel like I was her priority and on my wedding (2 days ago), she was there for me and my now husband, checking in on us, making sure we were OK and assuring us that everything was going to be great. One key note, not only did she make me feel at ease, but our families. Any questions they had she was there. I am so grateful to have met her and have her make my day one I (nor my guests) will ever forget! Best decision I ever made! Thank you Jessica!!
We had our wedding at Woodlawn and Pope Leighey House in Alexandria, VA. We booked Jessica Ashley Co. for partial planning.
Jessica was truly a blessing through our whole wedding planning process! What originally sold me was our first conversation on the phone before we booked. I could tell immediately she was extremely organized, able to listen/ give suggestions, and when she said she would start planning as soon as we booked, she was not kidding! Right away she sent a document for me to fill out so we could see what we still needed to explore and book. Then she had several vendor suggestions for me that fit our budget and vision. It was comforting to know she had worked with these companies in the past and could attest to their abilities to be the best vendors for us. She put us in touch with several vendors so I was able to get to know them myself and decide from there. We met in person and talked through my whole wedding vision down to the tiniest detail. Jessica coordinated individually with all of our vendors and maintained great relationships with them as well. Every one of our vendors had only wonderful things to say about Jessica. Before the wedding, she sent out an extremely detailed timeline, so everyone from wedding party to vendors knew when they needed to show up and where they needed to be. The day of our wedding she helped coordinate the set up of my dream wedding. When I saw the ceremony area, cocktail hour set up, and reception tent, I was at a loss for words because of how beautiful everything turned out. She was able to take my vision and make it a reality ten times better than I could ever imagine. The day ran extremely smooth thanks to her detailed planning and I could not have asked for a better person to do the job! Jessica is extremely intelligent, talented, and has the best time management of anyone I know. Not only was she a great vendor, but she was a friend who I could speak to throughout the planning process and was there to make my dreams come true for my wedding vision! We are so thankful we ended up working with Jessica, she is a class act and the real deal!

I feel so blessed to have worked with Jessisca Ashley Events. She brought so many contacts, vendors, and creative ideas to my wedding planning process. She was really patient with me while I went back and forth on certain ideas. Jess was also an expert at vanquishing problems. I would come to her and my other planner Alisha with issues and she would find a way to make the issue seem a thousand miles away. It must also be said that Jess is a warrior. She overcame a great deal to continue the efforts to plan this wedding. She continued to be responsive and never made things about her.

While this may sound dramatic, I assure you I mean every word of this whole heartedly: I have no idea what I would have done without Jessica, but she truly MADE the wedding of my dreams a reality!
As the first (and best) wedding decision I made, Jessica was with me from day 1. I had no idea what I was doing and was overwhelmed before even picking a venue. Jess put together priorities and to-do lists for me so I would know what needed to be done first and foremost always, depending on where we were with the wedding timeline. She researched and identified all vendors & options for me and helped me make every decision (since I was FREAKING out about nearly every one!).
She always made me feel on top of things and brought up so many details I would have never thought to cover had I been flying solo. Jess always made herself available to help (even after just having a lil baby!) and was SO responsive (email, text, FaceTime, calls, you name it!) no matter the day or time.
With her connections to incredible vendors, I got the PERFECT photographer (he literally sent my photos within a week and they were flawless), wedding cake artist, and even got some discounts because of JAE.
All of my bridesmaids that have been in weddings before commented on how smooth Jessica ran things. She made everyone feel calm, cool and collected and demanded the attention of a very distracted 19-person wedding party during the rehearsal and pre-wedding rundown. She RAN the show flawlessly!
My husband told me he was SO glad we had Jess. He's not the type to notice details in weddings, but he beamed about how great she was and how well she ran the day, and was thrilled with the level of service he knows she provided to me (weekly calls, color coded emails, gorgeous moodboards, warm texts and motivation!). It was the best compliment and means so much coming from him <3
Another quick level-of-service item to point out - the caterers got back to me last minute letting me know the signature drinks were ago (like literally the day before); Jess was in the hotel internet center PRINTING GORGEOUS SIGNATURE DRINK SIGNS SHE DESIGNED, PRINTED, TRIMMED AND FRAMED THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING, FOR ME! If that doesn't scream dedication to client service and an honest passion/care for your clients happiness--I don't know what would! It meant so much to me.
Let it be known too that Jess did the impossible: learned how to destress and calm down my Mom. She truly deserves an award for this!
Lastly, and VERY importantly - NOTHING went wrong or not according to plan. My vision was 100% spot on. Everything was pulled through exactly how I wanted it thanks to Jess and her team. She is AMAZING with a capital A. "The best ever" doesn't even begin to describe her and her wedding planning super powers.
As the groom, I didn't know how much went in to a wedding. My bride hired Jess to plan and I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did the wedding go off without a hitch, I heard many people talking about how it was one of, if not the, greatest wedding they'd been to. I chose almost all of my vendors based on their personality and if I felt that they understood a little about who I am and what was important to me.
Jessica was no exception - from the first time I talked to her she seemed excited about my vision for this vintage and travel inspired wedding. Both my fiance and I love to travel and I pick up any crystal or silver item I can find when we do and I wanted to incorporate that into our day.
I often bite off more than I can chew and my wedding was no exception. Jessica was there though every step of the way though to help organize me, the long list of vendors I had and execute an absolutely perfect day that ran like clock-work.
To say that I asked a lot of her with my "vision" is probably an understatement. I had custom table settings, tons of decor that also needed setting up, my own alcohol that needed to be organized with the caterer and all of that stuff was mostly in a closet or a uhaul and had to be carted up in an extremely slow elevator. It was a lot, and if I could do it all over again, I would have both paired it back and organized it better - but if Jessica was stressed about it, I could not tell, and the end result was everything that I could have imagined.
Not only does this show how organized and professional she is - but it indicated to me that she listened and really heard me when I was explaining what I wanted to express through my vintage pieces and decorations. That for me was very important, because, as the bride, you can't control the day. You have a million other things going on and you cannot be there to set everything up and ensure the flow of the event - you have to trust that the people you work with listened to you and care enough to deliver on that vision you had. Given my experience with Jessica and the perfect day that she gave me, my trust was not misplaced. I would recommend that any bride, looking for someone who will carry their own vision through one of the most important days of their lives, also put their trust in Jessica. She is a remarkable person and planner!
I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where Jessica was the event planner. I've been a bridesmaid 4x (and another in a few months) and I've yet to see a more polished planner!! She was very experienced, friendly, calming and totally in charge.
Jessica sent out thorough emails to the bridal party, answering all questions months/weeks/days out. We were a large bridal party and some wedding-party-rookies and she made everyone feel confident and relaxed during the rehearsal and wedding.
The bride gushed about hiring Jessica and said she was absolutely worth the investment (finding vendors within her budget and thinking of things she never would have thought to do).
I couldn't recommend Jessica more - sets a very high bar for a perfectly smooth wedding day and a friendly supportive person behind it :)

Hiring Jessica Ashley was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process! She is extremely personable, organized, and talented. She helped me find some amazing vendors (for amazing prices too), kept me on track in planning, and had so many great ideas when working on the timeline and overall wedding design. And she always responded to my texts/emails almost immediately! She completely understood my vision and helped me bring it to life! On the day of, Jessica was such a calming and positive presence. She made sure every detail was perfectly in place and flawlessly handled any issues that may have came up on the wedding day. It was truly a stress-free day! While I only hired Jessica for month of coordination, I wish I had found her sooner! I will miss working with Jessica and our coffee dates now that the wedding is over!
We planned most of our wedding from abroad and Jessica Ashley Events was so thorough and available 24/7. Taylor, our day-of coordinator is the best! We could not have done it without her. Jessica was A M A Z I N G!!! I don't know were to begin. My husband and I needed help planning the entire wedding due to our crazy schedules. Jessica was there from the beginning from helping us pick out the big stuff (venue, Photographer, DJ, etc.) as well as the small details that we had no idea about. She was even able to get better rates on some large ticket vendors. On rehearsal day she was there getting everything and everyone organized on time. On wedding day, however, super woman arrived A.K.A. Jessica and created our vision and more. Organized to the "T" from getting the Ceremony, Reception and Bridal Party Suites decorated, to making sure we all were on time for everything, to contacting all family/friends/vendors. I forgot so many small detail items at home and Jessica had it taken care of. I remember having a fantastic time at the wedding and the best part not having to worry about a thing. Jessica is professional and wonderful to work with.
As the mother of the bride I hired Jessica as a partial wedding coordinator the summer of 2017 for a June 2018 wedding. I was only looking for a day of coordinator. With everything Jessica had to offer us, it was a great value to hire her as a partial coordinator in addition to day of coordination. Jessica was ALWAYS responsive with any questions we had during the process. She had many suggestions and was instrumental in helping us find our DJ and Cakes by Marium who did my daughter's cake and all the desserts. Any idea I had I would run it by Jessica and she was always honest with her thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
Jessica also did an exceptional job in mediating situations between my daughter and I. Jessica was EXTREMELY patient with both of us always helping the other see the best option. She was great with my daughter who completely trusted Jessica because she understood my daughter's vision for the wedding.
As we got closer to the wedding, Jessica coordinated with each of our vendors and we had a lot. She communicated with them as far as when they would be setting up and the roles during the wedding and reception. In fact there was one vendor that was not easy to communicate toward the end. I had several phone appointments with him and was stood up. I turned him over to Jessica and she handled making sure he accomplished what we needed. I completely trusted her.
The day of the wedding was not an easy set up as it was an outside wedding and the forecast was rain. Jessica and her assistant knew how much my daughter wanted to be married outside. Two hours before the wedding they made a gutsy decision to set up outside and if it rained they had a back up plan because we had rented enough chairs four our 200 guests. The rain held off for the ceremony and my daughter had the wedding of her dreams!
Jessica and her assistant worked so hard the day of with set up and making sure everything ran smoothly during the wedding and reception and oversaw all the clean up. She was amazing!
In all fairness, Jessica was the only coordinator I contacted after searching through profiles here because her page just clicked with me. And I have precisely zero regrets.
My initial request was to help so my mother and I both survived this endeavor, which at that point was questionable. From initial contact through to the end, Jessica's overwhelmingly calm confidence was the rock on which my sanity rested. She "got" my vision and managed to gently recommend me out of some questionable ideas I manifested along the way. Every step was planned, prepared, and executed flawlessly. I was just over a month out and hadn't even sorted out half of my vendors, Jessica was able to sweep in and leverage her vast network to come up with not only available vendors--but vendors within our budget.
If I had a question, concern, gripe, crazy thought--her response time was fabulous. And she managed both my complete wedding planning disorientation as well as my mother's incessant questions (sometimes repeatedly) with a cheery grace that honestly just made everything ok in the world.
On our magical day Alicia was everywhere yet invisible. Any time I had a "wait, did that get done/setup/whatever" pop up in my head the answer was always "Yes" practically before I could even finish. The setup went flawlessly, everything looked perfect, and she was right there out of thin air to hold my hand through each step of the way.
I feel blessed to have found Jessica Ashley Events. Do yourself a favor and trust someone absolutely capable to take care of all the details. The end.
I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Jessica. She was our day-of coordinator but did so much more. She helped me pull together all kinds of last minute details the month before the wedding. She checked in constantly and offered so many helpful solutions. She found us a wonderful baker, transportation for our bridal party, and so much more. On the day, she handled and coordinated all our vendors seamlessly. If there were any problems, I didn't hear about them - it was like magic. Everything just went so smoothly. If I could go back and do it again, I would have hired her to plan the entire thing!
I wish I could rate Jessica a 10 out of 5. Her service was amazing and she was on top of everything from start to finish. I was hesitant on getting a wedding planner at first but I could not have been happier we got one, especially Jessica. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was done how we wanted it which was very nice. Thank you again Jessica for everything.
Jessica has been unbelievable. There's not words to tell you how helpful she has been. I hired her and felt like a 1000 pounds was lifted off my shoulders. There's not a time she doesn't respond within hours if not seconds, she is more on top of my wedding than I am. She goes above and beyond to make sure your vision and day are exactly what you want. My day couldn't have been more prefect because of her!
Jessica of Jessica Ashley events has been a lifesaver! From the moment I booked her she has been attentive, responsive, and so very enthusiastic. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and she has helped eased all of that. Every idea I have come up with she has helped me figure out the details - she even helped me find a great videographer - plus made sure everything stayed within my budget. At first I was hesitant to book a planner due to budget - I hadn't planned on it - but she is worth every penny. This process has been nothing but enjoyable - thank you Jessica for everything!
