I cannot find enough superlatives to praise Jessica Riley. Despite numerous Covid challenges and a block of rooms at a hotel that went bankrupt a few scant weeks before the wedding, the wedding that finally took place on August 7, 2021, was nothing short of perfect. I had high expectations as a former editor for a high-end, NY- based magazine covering extraordinary events, and Jessica met every one of them. She wasn't as well known as some of the planners I had researched for my daughter's wedding, but when I interviewed her, I was impressed with her knowledge of vendors, her enthusiasm, and her commitment. (All of these things were especially important since I was planning a Maine wedding from afar, and my daughter, the bride, lived in Manhattan.) Jessica never lost sight of our vision, stayed on top of every detail, worked closely with our vendors, and her timing and coordination the day of the wedding was extraordinary. Everything went exactly as planned, and it doesn't get better than that.

Jessica was amazing to work with and ensured our daughter’s wedding an incredible event. Jessica was always available, supportive and had ideas to solve any problem. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all at our home, and Jessica made sure all the details came together. We couldn’t have done this without Jessica’s knowledge and support!

5 stars isn't nearly enough for the amazing work Jessica did for us. I am not afraid to admit that I am a bit of a perfectionist who doesn't give up control easily... but I was able to completely relax on my wedding day knowing that Jess was there. She made my dreams a reality. Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021. Jess helped make sure that we had cancelled/rescheduled or hired the appropriate vendors for our new date and made us feel so comfortable during such a confusing time. Up until a couple of months before our wedding, all of our communication had been virtual. When we finally got to meet in person at our venue she confirmed over and over again that we had made the right decision in choosing her as our planner. As we were leaving my Dad leaned over to me and said, "I don't know how much you're paying her but she is worth EVERY penny!" She put my entire family at ease which was especially impressive since the ceremony took place in their backyard! Jess was so helpful in the planning of the day to day schedule so that we had time to accomplish all of our wishes but also kept us on a realistic schedule for photography and catering reasons. I never felt rushed and she helped calm my anxieties about anything that came up throughout the day. She even decorated my cake when I realized I forgot to purchase a cake topper... She's AMAZING. Jess made us feel so comfortable and like we were working with an old friend versus a vendor. I would recommend her services to any and all couples looking for a stress free beautiful wedding. x S&A

Jessica Riley! Where to begin?! Our story with Jessica is extra special and demonstrates what an incredible planner she is. When we first got engaged we quickly booked our wedding at Point Lookout and started working with her. We instantly felt connected to her, so when Point Lookout unexpectedly closed, we were as disappointed about the venue as we were about losing her! Thankfully she reached out to offer her services in seeing our big day through and the relief we felt was monumental! It was a new beginning for both of us—she was starting her own business and we were re-starting the wedding planning process for the second time. We nearly made it to our spring 2020 date when the pandemic hit and threw us all for a loop, for the third time. I remember our first call with her after we realized that the world was about to change, and our wedding was going to have to wait. She was calm, supportive, and reassuring. She instantly jumped into action, reaching out to our venue and vendors for advice and within a few weeks, we had a brand new plan. The craziness didn’t stop there though. Planning a pandemic wedding is not for the faint of heart and with every new guideline that was put in place, we were forced to adjust our expectations. The one thing that remained consistent was Jessica and her commitment to making our day perfect. In the end, our intimate November wedding was nothing short of amazing and we cannot thank her enough. We laughed, we cried, we made it and it’s all thanks to her!

Where do we even begin?! If you are reading this, please. book.Jessica. My husband and I reached out to Jess in the midst of us rescheduling our wedding due to COVID-19 with only a few months to go before our original wedding date. After changing our plans, we were in search of a wedding planner and I knew from our first phone call, she would be amazing to work with. Jessica truly did not disappoint! She was incredibly calm, a great listener, creative, professional, organized, and everything you would want and hope for in a wedding planner. Whether it was coordinating details with vendors, to being there every step of the way at the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and the entire wedding day, having Jessica around made us at ease knowing our vision and plans were coming to light! On the day of, Jess went above and beyond. Her attention to detail, upbeat energy, and calm demeanor as she navigated all of the details the wedding day brings (even with a small ceremony) was exceptional. In addition to us, our family members are still raving about her and we know that anyone who is lucky to book with her will have an amazing wedding day and/or celebration! For couples planning events during the pandemic, Jess is your girl! She takes safety regulations seriously and takes extra precautions. Our small group of family and friends felt safe being around her. Thank you again, Jess, for taking care of all of the details, executing the flow of events effortlessly so we could enjoy the day! Jess Riley was professional, punctual, and so much fun to have as our coordinator from the day we began planning. She would catch every little detail, follow up with vendors, and truly bring everything together perfectly. That’s just the planning part. The night of rehearsal and day of the wedding, Jess worked non-stop to bring everything together. I remember one guest saying “your wedding planner has done such an amazing job putting this all together! And it’s like she’s not even here.” - commenting on how hard she was working behind the scenes. Jess wasn’t someone we wanted to go unnoticed though, she is such a kind and hard working individual. We were very lucky to have her be a part of our wedding weekend!

We worked with Jessica through our wedding venue, Point Lookout Resort. We are SO happy that our wedding venue came with an experienced wedding and event coordinator. Our meeting with Jessica at the time of touring the venue was what sealed the deal for us—we could tell she was passionate about her career, knowledgable, organized, and genuinely excited to get to know us as a couple and the important pieces of our wedding day. Throughout the planning process Jessica was there to answer questions ranging from who to pick for vendors to day-of timeline details. She was a great communicator and we felt so much relief as they day approached knowing she would be on-site. The day of the wedding was so smooth; everything went according to plan! Our reception venue was beautifully decorated exactly how we imagined. With a different site for the ceremony, reception, and after party, our guests were blown away by the flawless execution of everything. My husband and I have attended 25 weddings together, and truly feel that the coordination Jessica provides is top-notch!

Jessica coordinated our June 2018 wedding and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was absolutely fabulous to work with. She was very responsive to e-mails, clear in her communication, quick in executing, as well as thoughtful and creative when we needed her advice. I truly enjoyed working with her. Our entire wedding experience--from signing the contract to the final guest shuttle of wedding night—was both beautiful, thoughtfully curated, and went off without a hitch.

Jess was the coordinator for my wedding at Point Lookout, and the day of the event couldn't have gone any smoother!! Literally all I did was show up, put makeup on, and put my dress on. The venue was decorated just as we had discussed, and the timeline stayed on track. She had great recommendations for vendors without being pushy, and is very easy to be around-not too intense, but not too relaxed either. She offered helpful advice during the planning process and was a good sounding board as well. Many people have told us that this was one of the most fun, well organized, and relaxed weddings they've attended-and we both have large families, so there's been quite a few!

Jessica was amazing to work with at my recent (Nov 2019) wedding at Point Lookout. She answered a seemingly unending amount of questions from me, without ever making me feel like I was a nuisance or dumb. She kept me on track with deadlines and had a gentle way of asking me if I wanted things I didn't even think about or know I could do! She is so organized and on top of everything, and on the day puts in so much work to keep things going smoothly and as planned. If there were any issues with anything that day, she came to me with a plan in place and only needed my approval so I wouldn't have to stress and come up with a plan. I'm sad for her that Point Lookout is closing, but happy she is able to branch out and plan/coordinate weddings all over, and especially happy for everyone who has the chance to hire her as their wedding planner! She will certainly make your wedding everything you dreamed it would be! If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and hire Jessica. You will not regret it.

Jessica was a joy to work with when planning my Point Lookout (ME) wedding in November 2019. I am extremely type-A and needed every last detail of my wedding planned out several months in advance, and Jessica patiently and thoroughly worked through every request that I had. She is incredibly organized and detail-oriented, and answered every email in a timely manner and in the level of detail that I needed. She's also a straight-shooter and was fully transparent on costs, timing, logistics, etc., so there were no surprises down the line. She was a huge asset to have onsite the day of my wedding to ensure all of the vendors stuck to the timeline, and that every detail was attended to. I would highly recommend working with Jessica for your next event!

Jessica is amazing! Jessica was our wedding coordinator and more than we could have asked for! She was organized, responsive and so helpful in every step of the process. She clearly knew what she was doing and was seasoned at her job, not only professional but also attentive and a great person to have by your side. From our first site tour at Point Lookout, we knew that Jess was going to be a dream to work with. She has a calmness about her that is so reassuring to an indecisive bride like myself. She was super responsive during the 15 months leading up to our wedding, answering a limitless number of questions quickly and with expert advice. Jess helped us plan an unforgettable weekend with our family, including a welcome barbecue, bowling after-party, and farewell brunch. Everything went off without a hitch, and I was left only worrying about how the iffy weather forecast would impact our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. But Jess knew how to put all my worries aside, and after a short sprinkle an hour before the ceremony, the skies cleared to a perfect blue. I think the true sign of a great wedding planner is continued contact and planning leading up to the event, and then everything going off so seamlessly day-of that you find yourself forgetting about everything that is being done behind the scenes to make it happen. That is Jess in a nutshell - keeping you on track with all your details and deadlines in the months and weeks before, and then pulling everything together day-of in such an effortless way. Our wedding weekend was more amazing than we ever dreamed it would be, and I am so grateful to Jess for that!

Jess is simply the best!! I recently had my wedding at Point Lookout this past September. We booked 2 years ago and she has kept us in the loop since day one. I knew from the first time meeting her that this lady new her stuff and that I wanted her to be MY wedding planner! Things just clicked. She has been extremely attentive, thoughtful, patient, and so kind throughout the whole process. I had a thousand questions, and she always answered promptly. The day before I handed her over all the boxes labeled and didn't have to think about a thing on the day of. She created my pinterest dreams into a reality. The day of my wedding was beyond my expectations. Everything I had envisioned was even better than I expected, it was perfect! It was all just so beautiful. We repurposed alot of flowers and everything for the reception was were it was suppose to be. Her and Kayla were extremely attentive to anything me or my bridal party needed as well throughout the entire evening. She is amazing and i would give her a 100 stars if i could! I highly recommend Jess for your wedding !

We worked closely with Jess to plan our wedding at Point Lookout in July this year and are extremely grateful that we got to work with her! She is an amazing wedding coordinator! She is warm, easy to talk to and has a positive attitude. Leading up to the wedding, Jess provided lots of helpful advice and was always very responsive to the many questions we had. We met with her at the venue multiple times and her expertise was invaluable to us. Everything about our wedding weekend went extremely smoothly and that was in large part thanks to Jess. My husband and I worked with Jess Riley when she was at Point Lookout. She was amazing to work with, and that’s hard for a type-A bride like myself to say! I planned my wedding over the course of a year, bugging Jess every step of the way. She patiently answered my questions in a timely manner. I sent her maybe a dozen potential timelines and she gave me extremely helpful feedback. She’s a true pro, having planned more weddings than I will ever attend! Her advice was invaluable and meant our wedding day was smooth sailing. She worked with our vendors to make sure everyone knew where and when to arrive. She knew every dish on the menu and was able to make recommendations that our guests were still talking about months later. She made sure we had a space to build our welcome bags and that they were available for all guests at reception. The day-of, everything ran so well that we were ready for the reception 30 minutes ahead of schedule! Jess only had a few last-minute questions for me (i.e. how I’d like the napkins folded), and made sure I didn’t even know the cake had been delivered – it was just there! Throughout the day Jess made sure my husband and I were both taken care of. My husband managed to break his boutonniere when trying to put it on. Jess fixed it to the point where I couldn’t even tell! He had to tell me as he was taking it off after our wedding. She had a plate of appetizers brought to my husband and I after the ceremony – we were starving, so it was a wonderful surprise. Any last-minute changes ran so smoothly that it felt like they were the plan the whole time. I honestly can’t recommend Jess enough. When I hear of friends getting married in Maine, her website is the first I share. When I think of how beautifully our wedding day was, I just want to give Jess a huge hug and the biggest thank you in the world. By the end of our wedding weekend, Jess didn’t just feel like a vendor or event manager. She felt more like one of my closest friends and someone who would’ve easily been in my bridal party. She was beyond professional, friendly, approachable, and welcoming. You can’t go wrong with hiring Jess directly.
