While not quite a wedding, Leanne planned an awesome 50th birthday party for my husband. She was great to work with. Leanne is the perfect combination of professional and organized with lots of fun and creative ideas. We wanted to host the event at our home. She had great plans for all weather options, pulled together a wonderful group of caterers, bartenders, a band and fun beer burro and then managed the event with ease and grace. I could not have done it without her. Her planning skills, event knowledge and ideas for vendors are invaluable.

After attending a wedding that Leanne planned we decided to hire her for our daughter’s bat mitzvah. She planned an amazing event that many of our guests remarked as the most fun party they have ever been to. I would hire Leanne for any event that I needed help on as she is a constant professional with an eye for detail and made the entire experience seamless.

Working with Leanne at Jewell Events was such a great experience! My now husband was a little hesitant to hire a wedding planner, but at the end of everything, he said it was one of the best decisions we made. We are both planners, but a wedding was completely out of our wheel house. Leanne guided us through the entire process, had great vendor recommendations, and was just a pleasure to work with. We had a fairly quick engagement and Leanne was great in navigating the crazy wedding seasons of 2022. Working with Leanne from Jewell Events was one of the best decisions my daughter and I made about her wedding! I have never been Mother of the Bride before, and my own wedding was quite a long-time ago, so having Leanne’s guidance, direction and inside knowledge was simply invaluable. As Mother of the Bride, you want everything to be perfect for your daughter - but also we had financial and other logistics to consider. Leanne took the time to listen to us and truly understood both how we wanted the special day to be, while also managing to work within the budgetary guidelines. When you are arranging your child’s wedding, it’s such a mix of emotions, decisions, and managing resources, and it can easily become overwhelming. With Leanne helping us, we were actually able to enjoy the process, and certainly enjoy the day! I don’t know how we could have created such a memorable day without her assistance. Hiring Leanne was the best decision about the whole wedding that we made. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is starting on the Wedding Planning journey!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Leanne this year to plan my wedding. She was unbelievably organized, detail oriented, funny, kind, and easy to work with every step of the way. She was able to totally understand our overall vision and the things that were important to us as a couple. I never once felt pressured into a decision, and she was always completely honest about pros and cons for each choice. From the beginning she made sure we had a detailed schedule and kept us on track with payments, contracts, and anything else that needed our attention. She made wedding planning feel fun and enjoyable, which was such a gift. The wedding day itself ran so smoothly and without a hitch. Leanne helped make my wedding easily one of the best days of my life- I would recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I made the best decision my hiring Leanne as our wedding planner. We were so nervous to plan a wedding, especially during Covid, and she made the whole process easy and fun! She was there for us throughout the whole process, including last minute phone calls when I needed support. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more and we owe so much of that to Leanne. My husband and I desperately wanted an intimate Colorado wedding but had no idea where to start especially being out of state. Leanne was there every step of the way with her network of amazing vendors, creative ideas, and ability to get things done. I never once felt in over my head, over budget, or like I wasn't being fully supported. Our wedding just passed on 9/18/21 and everything went so perfectly, i'm still in shock. My biggest fear was that our wedding day wouldn't fully represent us, and looking back, every little piece was us and we owe it all to Leanne ♥️

I can’t say enough good things about Leanne. We had to do a lot of changes to get to my 6/25/21 wedding. It came out perfect even with a downpour that night! She was always on top of things and I never had to worry! I would give her 10 stars if I could!

Leanne was absolutely incredible at guiding us through the wedding planning process and running everything the day of. COVID and involved mom's did not make this an easy wedding to plan, but Leanne put us at ease with her attention to detail, relationships with so many vendors, getting-to-know-us approach, and professionalism. We felt like we were the only wedding she was planning! She went above and beyond her job description the day of by helping manage pets and 5-year-olds, staying late to clean up, making us beverages, and calmly fielding last minute phone calls when ash started falling from the sky. We LOVE Leanne and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone planning any sort of wedding!

Leanne hit it out of the park! As a couple who worked in the Wedding/Event industry in the past, we sought out recommendations from the best of the best when we found ourselves looking for a wedding planner. Leanne came highly recommended by someone who we saw as the best connector in the industry. She recommended Leanne saying “I would hire her for my wedding”. We had a unique vision: A inter-racial, inter-faith, multi-day, destination wedding. We wanted to create an environment where 200 of our closest friends and family would come together, connect deeply with each other, make lasting memories and celebrate LOVE. We were in no rush and it was most important to us to find the “right place” and then everything else would fall into place. When we met with Leanne, we immediately connected with her… she seemed to get our vision and when we left our meeting, my fiancé and I looked at each other and said “WE LOVE HER”. Leanne listened deeply to what we wanted and she truly began to grasp our vision. She has deep connections in the Colorado wedding community and took us to some of the finest locations that would support our vision. We were VERY picky and Leanne stuck with it and never made us feel bad about it or nervous to tell her what was off! At several points, we asked ourselves, “is she going to fire us?” We felt terrible that we were so picky but we knew the perfect location was out there and Leanne believed it too! As we looked at different venues and spoke to different vendors we noticed that Leanne has this incredible ability to be kind and gracious - everyone she talked to gravitated towards her and appreciated the respect she gave them. However, whenever she needed to make a point or emphasize something in defense of us - she was able to be strong and direct, while also being approachable. That balance - we learned- is so important - and so rare. After getting so close several times, we were defeated and Leanne came to save the day! She always had a way to pick us up, encourage us, remind us of the vision and always had a suggestion or even joke! We finally landed on an amazing location and venue and then we were off to planning! I will add that we ended up doing a destination wedding - and Leanne is an expert at that as well! Her “go figure it out” mentality helped us figure out things in a place that neither of us were from, and her ability to be incredibly diplomatic and understanding helped her create a great relationship with the local vendors. Our wedding also had some India traditions - and Leanne was fantastic with truly trying to understand what the traditions were and where they come from, and how they need to be implemented. We have experienced other people in the wedding industry just tolerating different cultural activities- but not Leanne- she fully embraced it and implemented it with grace. She even ended up facilitating the set up of all the Indian decor and her design eye was perfect - it looked amazing! The actual planning of the events was flawless as well. Through it all (a 3 day wedding I might add) she kept us calm, made us laugh, and helped us be present. We could not have asked for a better wedding planner. Leanne truly got our vision and went above and beyond to deliver the wedding of our dreams! If you are looking for someone who can catch onto your vision and deliver it….. Look no further….. Just be warned…. YOU WILL LOVE HER and you will be so very pleased you hired her!

I’d say having Leanne is the best decision I’ve made for my whole wedding planning process. I highly recommend Leanne! Firstly, she listens to your needs and incorporates them to your wedding so you’d feel the wedding is so personalized! Most of my guests don’t speak English so Leanne thought of a lot of tweaks to let my guests enjoy the wedding as we did. Secondly, she has rich connections with vendors and experience to give you a worry-free wedding. All the vendors she recommended were so great to work with. Everything ran smoothly with Leanne’s coordination. My husband and I just followed whatever instructions Leanne gave us on the wedding day and enjoyed the moments with our guests without worrying a thing. Lastly, Leanne definitely went above and beyond. She always offers her support proactively either to communicate with vendors or provide alternatives to complete the picture. There were so many times Leanne jumped in and said “I’ll handle that for you” when I felt overwhelmed. I just can’t thank Leanne enough!!

Choosing to hire Leanne as our wedding planner is the best decision we've ever made for our wedding! As a foreigner who's not familiar with the western culture, it is really painful for us to choose between so many vendors and packages. Leanne helped us figure out what are the most important things to us and meanwhile keeping everything within our budgets. All the vendors she recommended was just awesome and easy to work with. If you just want to make one decision, hire Leanne!

My husband and I feel so fortunate to have worked with Jewell Event Design to plan our April 2018 wedding. I’ve planned a number of events professionally, which cemented my decision to hire a planner when it came time to plan my wedding. Working with Leanne meant that we were able to focus on the momentous act of getting married instead of worrying about the little details. Leanne also kept us on track throughout the planning process, which let me enjoy this experience with my husband-to-be instead of nagging him about wedding planning tasks. When you meet Leanne, it is obvious that you are working with an experienced professional. Only someone truly confident in their abilities to pull of a flawless event would listen to someone describe their dream wedding theme as “floral overload, chaotic and clashing, loud, vibrant, and wild” and say “No worries! I’ve got this!” Our parents (who each contributed financially to the wedding) were so impressed upon meeting Leanne that they trusted us to do the planning without their input. Leanne is like a god amongst wedding vendors - other vendors universally respected her and were eager to please her, meaning we got excellent service. Beyond embracing our theme, Leanne had a strong understanding of our values and worked diligently to ensure our wedding was a reflection of these values. With nearly 75% of our guests coming from out of town, guest comfort was a top priority. Leanne helped us rework our budget to allocate more to the guest experience and pushed our venue to make guest-friendly tweaks, i.e. adding labeling to food stations to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. We’ve received so many compliments on our wedding and are thrilled that it was a meaningful and fun celebration for all. Leanne has a tremendous wealth of knowledge surrounding events and I always appreciated her sound judgement and honesty. She was committed to transforming our vision into reality, but knew when to nudge us in a different direction. For instance, we had our hearts set on a rooftop ceremony for 200 guests, but our venue couldn’t accommodate more than 150 chairs in that space. Leanne wisely suggested that limited seated was more likely to seem intentional if we reduced the number of seats even further, a recommendation I’m glad we accepted. She also saved me from taking on too many DIY projects and planning too many pre-wedding activities for guests. Finally, we are grateful for how beautifully Leanne coordinated all our vendors on the day of the wedding. She created a fabulous timeline and briefing document for the venue and vendors that accounted for every little detail. The vendors she recommends are all top-notch and clearly work together well as a team. Between Leanne, her staff person, our two photographers, DJ, and florist, it felt like we actually had six wedding coordinators ensuring that things went smoothly. We can’t thank Leanne enough for her work planning our big day!

Leanne was so perfect! She worked with our busy schedules and was able to get everything done and I never had to feel stressed in the prep or day of our wedding because of her! She works with THE best vendors and we were so happy with every recommendation she gave. We would recommend her to anyone who wants to work easily through the planning process and actually enjoy your wedding day to the fullest! Everyone enjoyed having her around, she’s funny and can get along with anyone!

I wish I connected with Leanne as soon as I got engaged! Everyone told me, weddings are stressful and I was determined for ours to be as love-focused and stress free as we could make it. She took care of countless details so we could enjoy the process and big day. Her support allowed my husband and I more time to focus on the vows we were about to make to one another. We knew our celebration and guests would be taken care of and they were. I learned a lot about wedding planning and the wedding industry from Leanne. The title Event Planner and Designer doesn’t quite give her justice. Leanne is part therapist, consultant, confidant, fitness coach (she worked out with me!), and she became a trusted friend. Many of our wedding guests and bridal party told us it was the most romantic and smoothest running wedding they have ever been to. I can’t tell you how happy that makes us. Most guests traveled ~2K miles to Estes Park to join us. We really wanted to show them a great time. Leanne is also a comedian and her one-liners are the best! She brought so many smiles to my face. She also helped us with our budget. Her vendor recommendations were absolutely stellar and saved me countless hours. She went above and beyond on what our agreement was. She showed up to help out with things that she didn’t need to. And we really needed it. I can’t express my gratitude enough and know this review does not give her justice. If you are getting married and have the opportunity to work with Leanne, DO it. Don’t wait. She is worth every penny. Enjoy the process. She makes it fun. I can’t imagine getting married without her!
