Jess was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. We were very unfamiliar with the wedding process and were grateful to have Jess and her team guide us along the way. We love that she was informative when we asked questions and always made us confident in our choices. On the day of our wedding, her team did a great job coordinating with vendors and overall making sure the wedding went smoothly. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Jess as our wedding planner and would highly recommend her to all of our friends.
JH Events is amazing and I highly recommend. From day one I work with Jessica and she got started right away. I hired her for day of coordinating, but she went above and beyond. Through the entire time if I had questions she was right there to answer them. Jessica and Liz came with my fiancé and I to the venue prior to our date to see the venue, go over details, and plan where we were setting things up. Liz and Arianna were onsite the day of the wedding. We got married offsite and when we got there I couldn’t have been more happy! They did an amazing job setting up the venue just as I had pictured it. It was stunning! And they were on top of everything all night, making sure we stayed on schedule, and making sure my fiancé and I always had everything we needed. I would recommend JH Events over and over again!
There aren’t enough words to express how amazing Jess and the entire JHevents team are. Throughout the wedding process, I kept saying how impressed I was with their diligence, attention to detail, and flawless organization. Jess leaves no stone unturned and no detail overlooked. She anticipates everything and ensures you’re completely prepared for your big day. If I could give one piece of advice to future brides, it would be to make JHevents your first investment. This was, without a doubt, the most essential decision we made. Our wedding day ran smoothly, even with all the moving parts, and that’s entirely thanks to Jess and her team. If you have any hesitations, let this be your sign to go ahead and book them. Thanks to Jess, I was able to relax, be fully present, and truly enjoy every moment of my wedding day. I honestly can’t imagine how we would’ve done it without her.

Jessica and her team were worth their weight in gold! From start to finish, she kept the day running smoothly and we were at a "a-la-carte" venue, where there was the need to coordinate with many vendors. I feel she went above and beyond any expectation I had of what a planner should do. I would highly recommend her without any reservation.
Hiring Jess was by far the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding!
We met with her monthly in the year before our June 2024 wedding, and she made the often stressful wedding planning process much more enjoyable with her calm demeanor, fun personality, and of course her extensive knowledge and experience. A few months before our wedding she took over communicating with our vendors, which allowed us to relax and look forward to the upcoming celebration knowing that everything was in good hands. All our other vendors mentioned to us how wonderful it was to work with Jess as well!
The day of, Jess and her assistant Liz truly went above and beyond in making sure the day was as perfect as we could imagine. They did everything from making sure everyone was where they needed to be for the ceremony, photos, and entrances, to setting up our decor just as we had described, to bustling my dress right before our first dance! We and our families and friends were able to simply enjoy and live in all the happy moments on our big day without worrying about a thing.
Please do yourself a favor and hire Jess for all of your wedding planning and coordination needs - we promise that it’ll be the best wedding planning decision you make too!
We could not be happier with our decision to use Jess for her month-of/day-of services! From our very first call with her, we knew right away that she was the perfect fit for us. Not only is she incredibly kind and personable, she is passionate about what she does and extremely organized. She was always quick to respond to our many emails, and did a great job at keeping us calm at times we were stressed as she helped us find the appropriate solution. Even though her services didn't technically begin until the month before our wedding, she was vital in our vendor search by providing us excellent recommendations of people she had worked with previously and had a positive experience with. This was how we found the perfect person to watch our dog so we could include him in our wedding without worrying.
Leading up to our wedding, Jess did an amazing job getting in contact with all of our vendors to finalize all details, along with providing us suggestions and pointing out things we had overlooked to that point. On the actual day, she and her assistant, Arianna, went above and beyond to execute our vision perfectly, with us following her detailed timeline so that we didn't have to worry about anything else. We had multiple guests approach us on the day to tell us how incredible of a job she was doing.
Jess provides such an incredible value for her services and we are so lucky to have found her! We couldn't be happier with how smoothly everything went. We had the perfect wedding day and that was only possible because of Jess and her amazing team. We highly recommend Jess to everyone!
Not sure why, but I had the hardest time actually hearing back from any planners for initial convos and quotes, except for Jessica at JH Events. She got back to me right away and from our first convo, I knew she was the planner for us. We booked Jessica as a month of coordinator and she came in so clutch. She helped manage any and all vendor needs in the month before our wedding and had the most perfect day of schedule for us. She stepped up to help with set up and clean up, and honestly --- she's a lot of fun. I'd highly recommend JH Events for professionalism, responsiveness, organization and personality.
Jess was amazing! She made the wedding day at The Society Room so seamless and easy for us and I felt so relaxed knowing she could handle everything. The month leading up to the big day she put in so much work making sure vendors were all on the same timeline, items were going to the right places, timeline was smooth. She executed our ceremony at the church perfectly. She and her assistant Ariana truly made the day special for us. I would highly recommend her for anyone that needs that extra help or wants someone to take over on wedding day so that they could enjoy their big day.
HIRE JESS! Like others have said, working with her was easily one of the best wedding decisions we made. Since the moment I met her I knew she was the one. I had met with a couple other planners, but she is what wedding dreams are made of. She’s incredibly kind, well-versed on the industry, highly organized, detail-oriented, great aesthetic eye, and truly cares about you and your wedding. My husband and I are semi workaholics, and we knew we needed a planner from start to finish, so we hired her a couple of weeks after getting engaged. We wanted to get married on our anniversary exactly a year later (April 12) so we didn’t have much time. And we were planning our CT wedding all the way from Los Angeles, where we now live. Under her full wedding package, she guided us step by step, planning every meeting, sourcing out needed information, going back and forth with vendors for us, comforting us when it came to tough decisions. She was always accessible day or night and was incredibly reliable. She has the memory of an elephant. I don’t think I’ve trusted someone so fast. And you quickly realize the amount of decisions you have to make for a wedding and the management of all of the moving pieces and she’s so skilled at juggling all of it. Our vendors would also tell me privately what a great planner she was and how she advocated for us. Then when it came to the wedding week and day of, I was so at ease because of her and her team. I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything, even last-minute concerns like rain, and she delivered. On the wedding day her and her team were there 1000% prepared and organized (with headset mics!) managing the 4-person photo/video team, our 15-person wedding party, full Catholic Mass, and the many many wedding vendors. She did it with confidence, grace, and a smile. She brought me so much comfort and peace in the planning process and on the big day! Our wedding was on time and a complete success, and I know that’s because of her. I know my wedding experience would have been 10x more stressful without her. Words can’t express how grateful we are to have worked with her—I can cry. For a year I’ve raved about her to my family so much so that they were excited to finally meet her at the wedding HAHA. I can’t wait to find excuses to work with her again!!
Jess and her team are fabulous. It started as soon as I found her on the Knot- it was seamless to set up our first call, and she was the most responsive partner ever. She helped me identify my needs and figure out which package best fit where I needed help versus what I was ready to take on myself. Meeting with her brought so much clarity to me & my mom as we navigated the planning process. She had recommended vendors, templates and total control of our timeline. She understood my priorities, working to make sure we could do our first look in my dream location.
Her support day of what wonderful too: her calm demeanour, organization and proactive approach made things seamless.
She went above and beyond when disaster almost struck: My dress was big, and it required me lifting it with both hands to move around outside without dragging. As such, I kept forgetting my bouquet everywhere. From running it to me as I was about to go down the aisle, to driving back to our photo location during the reception, she made sure things were perfect.
Absolutely recommend her to everyone!

Jessica is incredible - I love her so much I almost wish I could have married her on my wedding day. She was on top of everything from the very beginning. Each part of planning she answered questions I didn’t even knew I had, made sure we had everything and then some covered, so the day ran as smooth as possible.
The crew she brought with her on our wedding day was wonderful too! They were so fast and I never had to worry about anything. They were so much fun and made friends with our guests, kept all of the kids in my wedding party corralled (lol) and got endless compliments from all of our guests and vendors alike. Hiring Jess and her team was absolutely one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding!! We booked Jess and her team for their month-of planning services for our wedding ceremony at St. Patrick Church in Mystic and our wedding reception at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. With a guest count of about 175 guests, a 20-person bridal party, a full Catholic mass, and a reception with over 15 vendors, Jess’s team ensured the day ran smoothly and helped my husband and actually enjoy our wedding day!
Jess was a pleasure to work with from day one. Not only is she genuinely kind and friendly to all those she interacts with, she is extremely organized. She was integral in helping us finalize our wedding planning in the month or so leading up to the big day. Jess assisted us in crafting a detailed and well-thought out timeline. With multiple locations involved during the day, a large bridal party, and multiple shuttle buses for the guests, having Jess’s assistance with the timeline was key to ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible. By being so organized and thoughtful during the pre-wedding process, she preempted so many potential issues that might have arisen. So many guests have told us that it was the most well-run wedding that they had ever attended!
On the day of the wedding, Jess and her team were simply amazing. They assisted the bridal party and our parents while getting ready, they helped set up the beautiful tables and decor at the reception, they ran point with our large team of vendors (caterer, band, florist, rentals, shuttles, photo, video—to name a few!), and ensured that we stayed on schedule throughout the day. We were ahead of schedule for much of the day (unheard of!!) largely due to Jess’s team. With so many people (guests, vendors, bridal party members) and moving parts (a pending hurricane, different shuttle routes, tons of vendors), I was nervous about the many logistics that could go wrong. Jess helped me feel prepared beforehand, and I felt so much more at ease on the wedding day knowing that her and her team would be able to tackle any problems that arose.
In sum, we simply cannot speak highly enough about Jess and her team! Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with and was integral to making our wedding such an incredibly special day. We can’t wait to follow along and see all the beautiful days she helps to create in the future!!

My husband and I cannot stop telling everyone how valuable Jessica and her team were to our big day. From the very beginning, Jess was so kind and helpful with planning our wedding. From the moment I met Jess, she made my wedding planning process a complete joy! She is so easy to talk to and comment with and she is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Throughout the planning process she was continually coming up with ideas, solving problems, keeping me on track. I never worried about any detail that she was in charge of. When my wedding day came, I felt overwhelmed and like there was zero chance everything would get done in time. I could not have been more wrong. My son & Daughter-in-Law hired Jessica for the Month-Day of Package. The set up, decorating and take down was done by the bride & groom and their friends and families. Jessica and her crew was there every step of the way. She was professional, calm and never got flustered even when multiple questions were being asked of her at the same time. Where do I even begin!!
I didn’t realize wedding planning is SO HARD.
There are so many details that we would have missed if it wasn’t for Jess. She went above and beyond for us and just made our day perfect.
We had a lot of DIY for our wedding & Jess made sure everything was perfect.
All of the spreadsheets that Jess provided for us really helped calm all of my nerves before the wedding. It really helped to be organized and I honestly wouldn’t even know where to start if it wasn’t for her. (We were even ahead of schedule on our wedding day… crazy) we went back and forth about if we needed a planner or not because we had a pretty low key wedding… let me tell ya, she was needed. I’ll recommend Jess & her crew to everyone I know from here on out. She made our day perfect and I couldn’t be more grateful!

It is impossible to put into words our deepest appreciation and gratitude for Jess, as she is truly in a league of her own. Jess is incredible at what she does and is an absolute delight to work with. Jess and her team exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond in everything they did. Jess answered every text, phone call, and Facetime. Jess even helped me change into my dress and took action during a medical emergency at the wedding. Jess and her crew were absolutely stellar. From our first phone call to the multiple on site meetings, I always felt that we were in the best hands. We had a backyard wedding with multiple moving parts and Jess and her team handled everything perfectly. She is not only excellent at her job but she makes you feel much more at peace about everything surrounding the wedding. No matter the size of your wedding, there are still a lot of decisions to be made. Without a doubt one of the BEST decisions my husband and I made was hiring Jess!!
As I was planning my microwedding I quickly realized there was both a lot I didn’t know and didn’t want to be responsible for on my wedding day — enter my search for a day of coordinator. I reached out to several planners all lovely, but no Jess. From the moment we corresponded via email to our first virtual meeting, I felt such a sigh of relief. Jess is responsive, knowledgeable, organized, friendly and warm. Not to mention Jess’ services for day of go way above and beyond just your wedding day. Jess organized all my wedding details on a shared workbook, reached out to confirm details with vendors, supported in onsite meetings with my venue and many other little details that she handled with such ease.
On my wedding day Jess along with her assistant Liz stepped in and a managed all the details. My husband and I were able to soak in the day and make memories with loved ones because we had the best team supporting us. Jess was a major factor in our memorable wedding. Jess was the most AMAZING wedding planner we could have asked for! She was so friendly and sweet, incredibly detail oriented and organized, and made us feel instantly at ease. We were so overwhelmed trying to get ready for our wedding and could not have done it without Jess and her team. From handling communications with our vendors to the day-of coordination, we were totally confident that Jess would make sure everything ran smoothly. Jess was everything and more. From our first meeting, she made us feel relaxed, taken care of, and heard. During the days leading up to the wedding, Jess was there for every last minute change, text, or question. On wedding day, Jess was consistently working behind the scenes to make sure everything was smooth and seamless. We felt so supported, and as a person who is used to always doing the organizing, I felt so calm and supported with Jess there. We hired Jessica for our wedding planner for the last month; we could not have made a better choice. She was very helpful in getting all of the last details in place, contacting the vendors prior to the wedding, helping with the rehearsal, making sure the setup was correct, bustling my dress etc. I am not sure what I would have done without Jessica and her assistant, Liz, especially the day of. I did not have to worry about one thing; they had everything handled and ran around to ensure the day went as planned. From helping make the last minute decision to move the ceremony indoors to running around to make sure it was perfect.
My fiancé and I were far apart at the venue prior to the ceremony, Jessica and her assistant were running back and forth between us, coordinating getting ready so when the photographer for there we could start with the getting ready pictures, first look, family pictures etc.
It was the best investments we made for our wedding; we did not have to worry about one thing and were able to enjoy the day. We cannot thank Jessica and Liz enough for being a huge part of our day and making everything happen with not one issue.

Hiring Jessica for our wedding as the Month of Coordinator was one of our best decisions. Jessica was incredibly responsive, organized, kind and proactive since the day we first met. As soon as I handed over all the details, she took charge and kept me in the loop every step of the way which I really appreciated. Once the big day arrived, Jessica and Liz arrived cool, calm and collected and their energy was so contagious to everyone around them. They handled any hiccup with ease and only filled us in if needed. By the end of the day they felt like good friends, not a vendor! My husband and I cannot thank them enough for their amazing help.

JH Events, Jessica and her assistants were an amazing help before and on the day of our wedding. We hired her for day of coordination. We met with her on Zoom a few times before the wedding and once at the venue before the wedding and all of our pre-wedding meetings were very helpful and she did a great job easing my stress. I had made some decor myself along with other supplies and put it in labeled bins. I did not have time during the day to decorate our venue and I trusted Jessica and her team to set it up the way I wanted and she did a great job. She worked with my vendors really well. She did an excellent job setting up the ceremony. I received so many compliments from guests at the wedding that her team was doing an awesome job and was everywhere working hard; everyone was very impressed. She helped troubleshoot when something didn’t go right, so the guests didn’t even notice. Jessica and her team gave us peace of mind for our wedding day coordination and I am so glad we picked her! We highly recommend JHEvents, they were wonderful to work with and helped our wedding be a success.

It took me awhile after my wedding to come up with the words to describe Jessica and her assistant Alicia. Where to begin? I hired her last year in preparation for my May 2022 wedding.
My best friend hired her shortly after for her November 2021 wedding and I had the immense pleasure of watching Jessica work before my own wedding and it was truly magical! I have seen her from an outside perspective as a guest at my friends wedding and also as a bride for my own and she is truly a rockstar and queen of her craft! As a guest, I would say the wedding I attended went extremely smoothly. And as a bride I feel the same! Both my friend and I agreed that she was the best money we spent out of all of our vendors! She is the definition of organized. She was beyond accommodating to answer any question I had along the planning process. She worked seamlessly with all our vendors and was the height of professionalism and sophistication with the way she interacted with each vendor, family member and guest! Her beautiful personality delighted us from start to finish, she felt like a good friend that happened to be coordinating our wedding! There was no task that was too big or small for her to handle. She is the goddess of details, ensuring every tiny candle was lit, that every request was met, every concern handled swiftly. She honored every request I made, and was able to offer vast amounts of insight. She was creative and flexible with everything from location of ceremony, to changes with food or timeline. She kept me on track especially the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. She also handled the day-of with the type of finesse that I would have thought was reserved for millionaire clients. She made me feel so secure and safe on my wedding day. Anything that popped up she found a solution for immediately. My maid of honor had to drop out days before the wedding and she rearranged everything with a level of calm that I would not think possible. You never saw her break a sweat. This woman KNOWS what she is doing! Her assistant Alicia was equally as determined, professional, and a pleasure to be around as well! These ladies absolutely made my wedding what it was, and are the reason I didn’t rip all my hair out and run! My husband is just as smitten as I am and has been raving to his friends about what a perfect day it was and recommending her over and over to all his friends who are getting married. I spent a lot of time interviewing coordinators and questioning if I even needed one and the answers were all clear to me to hire Jessica from the very first phone call. I am so thrilled that I found Jessica. She is 10/10 in every arena and it would be foolish NOT to hire her if you are looking for a custom and enjoyable wedding experience! My wedding was magical and memorable and it would not have been possible without JH events! Do yourself a favor and call her to bring your wedding from average to classy, exceptional and iconic!

We hired Jessica (JH Events) as our Month of/Day of Coordinator for our Wedding on 5/7/22 in CT. Let me start by saying Jessica is the most talented planner i have ever met. From the very first conversation we had she was extremely thorough asking all the right questions and making sure to establish a personal connection with me (something that is very important to me when choosing vendors) Her bubbly personality and positive attitude made her a true pleasure to be around. She nailed down every last detail and went above and beyond what was expected. She is extremely detail oriented and organized. My husband and I were married November of 2021. I could not give a better review for Jess and her team! We hired her for the month before and day of package. She's there from day 1 of hiring her and even answers questions before hand! The day of she doesn't skip a beat. She truly cares about making your day as special as it could possibly be! Hiring Jess was the best decision we made for our wedding! She is organized, capable, and has the best attitude. We had so many compliments from the bridal party and best man about her and Liz during and after the wedding. The night before the wedding was incredibly stressful with rentals showing up late. Jess handled all of the phone calls and kept us (me) calm when our plans for setting up in the daylight fell through.
If there were any issues the day of our wedding, Jess took care of them. She was so prepared from the day of timeline down to the little details. We forgot the photo corners for our guest book and she magically had a roll of tape handy. We both felt like she really cared about how the day went for us. Our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was with out her!

I hired JHevents for month-of coordination of my wedding, and they absolutely blew me away! From my first conversation with Jessica Gonsalves, I could tell that she was organized and experienced, and very easy to get along with. She was enthusiastic and supportive about all our wedding ideas, but was also there to offer suggestions if we needed help, and practical reminders as we got closer to the wedding.
We had an intimate lakeside wedding, in my in-laws' backyard at the end of August. The day before, Jessica came to (I thought) run our ceremony rehearsal and go through final details with us - in actuality, she did so much more. She helped us set up for our rehearsal dinner, made calls to track down our rental delivery when it was late, and directed the rental deliveries and made sure we received everything we had ordered. On our wedding day, Jessica and her assistant Alicia were AMAZING. The setup looked incredible, like they literally took what I had in my head and put it out there (and I'll admit I am definitely particular about how I want things to look or be set up). Five minutes before our ceremony start time, it started to rain, and continued to rain for about 30 minutes. Jessica and Alicia ran and removed the seat cushions on the ceremony chairs so they would stay dry, ran the napkins through the dryer and refolded them all, wiped all the plates and tables down, and somehow managed to restore everything to how it looked before 30 minutes of rain. Jessica made sure everything ran smoothly the whole day and had the vendors all running on the same schedule, and had a very calming "everything is under control" presence throughout the wedding. Throughout the whole day, Jessica and Alicia were there executing our vision exactly as we wanted, they were available to help us and the guests anytime, and they were so kind and fun on top of it all. Thanks to JHevents, our wedding day went smoothly and was definitely much less stressful; all the work they did allowed me and my husband to actually enjoy the day and spend time with each other and with our guests.

Hiring Jess and the JHEvents team was without a doubt the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. We got married in CT on 6/12/21 and hired Jess as our month/day of coordinator. To say she went above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement. She met with us in person three times before our wedding day and assisted in every part of the process. Jess coordinated with all our vendors (even the very difficult to pin down) and made a detailed timeline for our day. She is incredibly responsive- whenever we reached out with a question or concern (which was often) she responded almost immediately. Following any meeting we had with her or with a vendor, Jess would always send us detailed meeting notes and follow up questions/items. Jess arrived at our venue early the day before the wedding and organized/dealt with our vendors all day. She brought a team of two other people to assist on our wedding day so someone could be at the ceremony venue while there was also someone at the reception venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot recommend JHEvents more highly!!!
I didn't have a wedding, but my best friend did and it was at my home. I typically wouldn't write a review for someone I didn't hire, but Jessica from JH Events had to be one of the most organized, communicative, diligent people I've seen. She managed food, bathrooms, tents, table settings, the dj, and keeping my best friend sane during a stressful time. I wouldn't think twice about recommending her to anyone needing a wedding planner.
Jessica was amazing! We hired her for our backyard wedding because it was too much for us to set up ourselves. Everything went perfect, our guests loved her and her team. Jessica is extremely thorough in the entire process. We had some issues getting in touch with our venders, sometimes we’d wait weeks and not hear back. Jessica was able to fix all the bumps in the road. We highly recommend her, she was professional, responds quick, and she gets the job done.
