Jillian drove to Estes Park to do a run through of our venue because she hadn't been there before. We were so impressed by this effort and willingness to make our day flow as seamlessly as possible. She also made it a point to attend every single one of our final vendor calls and saved the day when hiccups arose the day of our wedding with our florist. Her assistant Megan was lovely and also great to be around.

was very detailed in all aspects of our wedding. During the planning/preparation process, she utilized her vast experience to ask questions that we did not think about. She filled in all of the blind spots that were unbeknownst to us during the planning process. She thought through each and every part of our day of timeline to ensure seamless transitions throughout the day. This also ensured all of our vendors were on the same page.
We were very impressed with her interactions with all of our vendors. She deftly navigated between trusting each vendor to rely on their experience to know what would work best while also establishing expectations and following through on our vision.
We had a good amount of decor at our wedding and we dropped it off with her the day before at our rehearsal dinner. Each and every piece was perfectly in place the day of our wedding and we know it was because of Jillian and her team. We also utilized her sister company Jillian Jensen Creative for some of our decor. Each piece was exactly as we expected and we did not have to worry about anything being damaged in shipping/delivery.
Jillian took notes on the most detailed things (bride did not like food touching on plate, 3 year-old flower girl's stuffed animal waiting for her at her seat at ceremony, pronunciations of each person's name of bridal party at reception, etc.). She also drew from her experience and provided great input that was priceless. She recommended that we take 30 minutes after the ceremony to relax in our bridal suite at the venue during cocktail hour. Your wedding day is very exciting, but you don't have much time to relax. This 30 minutes was something that we cherished because it was one of the only times we had during the day when we were by ourselves and it was right after our ceremony. We would have never have done this if Jillian did not recommend it. She also had our favorite drinks waiting for us when we arrived in the bridal suite.
Jillian is extremely nice and caring. She truly loves what she does and it shows through her sincerity. Each time we interacted with her was a pleasure. She maintained this kindness in dealing with each vendor and any stress that went her way. She was very level headed which made our day as stress-free as possible.

Passing off the torch to Jillian could not have been a more comforting, painless process. She took complete control, it was like a properly trained captain had finally taken control of the ship. Jillian is my insanely organized, exceptionally communicative counterpart. I don't think I ever waited more than a few hours for an email response from her. She was 100% on top of my vendors, assuring that everybody was where they were supposed to be on our wedding day. Not only is Jillian incredibly organized, but she is just a downright kind, easygoing person. She was empathetic to my crazy "anxiety bride" personality, never made me feel like I was being a bridezilla with my concerns or requests, and just put me at such ease during the two months leading up to my wedding. I had booked a brand new venue which was under construction and EXTREMELY behind on their completion (they were literally finishing up projects the morning of my wedding), and Jillian totally took control with them. Whether it be taking notes about the space, getting paperwork to vendors, or just simply remembering small personal details about yourself. I hired Jillian for Day-Of-Coordination services and I feel that I got much more than that. Who will make sure that your overnight bags make it into your exit vehicle and to the hotel with you? she helped us with everything that followed. Initially, she helped us book the venue we wanted after she learned that they would only talk to us through a consultant. There you have reason number one for hiring a wedding consultant. Jillian met with and communicated with the bride and groom for 15 months. My daughter actually missed those conversations after the wedding was over because Jillian was so enjoyable to work with. She helped us all make plans smoothly and cooperatively. There was never any tension or conflict between parties and I felt that we all agreed on everything (at least, it felt that way). She helped us stay within a budget and made efforts along the way that saved us time and money.
What was especially above and beyond the call of duty was the hard work that Jillian and her husband, Erik, put in on the day of the wedding. Jillian decorated all of the tables and put together all of the flower arrangements on the tables. They coordinated all of the players, set up and took down the appetizer tables and appetizers, kept everything on schedule during the day and saw that the ceremony began on time. Our family members and friends could not stop raving about how beautiful and wonderful everything was. Jillian and Erik worked, nonstop, for 12 hours on the day of the wedding. They started the clean up and take down of tables and chairs before they left, which was a huge help for us the next morning. Since my husband and I were the last ones out of the building that night, we were very aware of their clean up efforts and of how late they stayed, voluntarily. Jillian and Erik are extremely talented, pleasant, organized and efficient people. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for wedding planning services. And, yes, by all means, do hire them for unlimited services, not just for the "day of". They were totally worth it. e done it without Jillian. During the 8-9 months that we worked with Jillian prior to our wedding day, Jillian provided us with the support and expertise that we so desperately needed. Planning a wedding is not an everyday occurrence, and there are so many little things you don’t think about. Jillian was there whenever we needed her to answer every question, to manage vendors when it became overwhelming for us, to talk us through every decision and how we could make our wedding truly ours, and generally just to be there when we needed her. We were able to set up a convenient schedule for meetings and discussions with Jillian as she was very flexible. She helped us flesh out ideas and encouraged our creativity. She prepared us for what to expect during each step of the vendor selection process. She suggested vendors that were able to help us save a lot of money. And last but not least, we felt she truly CARED about making our wedding the best it could possibly be.
When we got to the actual wedding day we felt like Jillian was celebrating with us! Watching her in her element as the day-of coordinator was when her talent really shone through. She was truly everywhere and nowhere at the same time: taking care of everything, running the timeline, making last minute decisions when necessary, and generally making sure nothing went wrong, all while being warm and available and impressing all of our family and friends. She even made sure we both had drinks and cake when we were too busy chatting to get them ourselves. Because of Jillian we were able to truly enjoy the biggest day of our lives so that, though the wedding was emotionally overwhelming, we didn’t have to worry about being logistically overwhelmed. We both felt pampered and able to enjoy every second.
The best advice I can give someone heading into a wedding is: 1) Be excited because you found Jillian Jensen. 2) Hire Jillian Jensen early (now!). The earlier you hire her the more she can help with even the beginning stages! 3) Relax and enjoy the ride with Jillian at your side. Oh, and did I forget to say how affordable Jillian’s services are? Worth every penny.

As our wedding was held at a private residence, there were many details that we needed to think of that would often times be handled by the venue— it is safe to say that without Jillian, things would have been forgotten and the day would not have gone near as smoothly as it did. The meeting that we had with her about a month before the wedding, she worked with us (and our mothers) for almost two hours putting the final details together. Jillian came to our venue the day before the wedding, helped us set-up all of the tables, chairs, lights, and decorations and ran our rehearsal. It was a huge stress relief to have her there helping with all of the details that makes a wedding run smoothly. Her expertise made everything much easier. On the day of the wedding, she put out fires and kept us on schedule throughout the entire day. There was a point in the evening where we ran out of ice at the bar, and she was able to coordinate our bus driver to go pick up more ice so that our guests could continue to enjoy ice-cold drinks. She also worked with the groomsmen and bride to help pull a prank on the groom— special details that made the day so memorable! She truly helped personalize our day, and kept it running smoothly. If you are getting married, hire Jillian, she will make sure that your day goes as great as ours did!

We had a few snafus the day of (we were running behind on timeline, problems with my bustle, etc) and Jillian handled every situation with grace, a problem solving attitude and a smile. In turn, this kept me calm, joyful and focused on our special day - something I cannot thank her enough for! In addition, she was great at keeping the rehearsal short, organized, and fun (which was no small feat with 10 kiddos in the wedding party!). She helped us research some transportation companies and honestly gave her input for what she thought would be best. As for the day of, it was perfect.
