call with Bill, we knew we were in good hands because he acknowledged our every request, gave fantastic recommendations based on his experiences, and talked through how he's handled scenarios where things have gone "wrong" at weddings and he managed to still make it the best party ever. We had SO many relatives telling us the next day what an incredible DJ he was and that it was the most fun wedding they've been to.

e were impressed with how much Jimmy Dee Entertainment had to offer-from photo booths, to live musicians to event rentals. We worked with Alex who was very patient and met with me as many times as I requested because again- I was a crazy bride who had to discuss every little detail lol When the wedding day came so many of my guests said the DJ was AMAZING (which I agreed). Everyone was on the dance floor all night and never wanted to get off. 3 weeks later people are STILL telling me how awesome my DJ was- I did my homework when selecting a DJ and I can guarantee you Jimmy Dee will do an outstanding job for your event!!

DJ/MC to have a choice in who is hosting your special day to best fit your needs and guest vibe. We had visited other DJ studios afterwards and none even came close - I don't even know why we wasted our time! We chose Richie as our MC and his voice and energy made our entire night. We are very picky with what music we want to dance to/play at weddings and DJ Nick played tons of perfect choices that no one left the dance floor. This was the one vendor that we didn't have to worry about leading up to or the day of the wedding because they had been so professional. Absolutely make sure you check them out!!

He played both of my closing requests, as I warned him he would get an encore request at the end of the night, which of course, we did. We still have guests coming up to us weeks after the wedding to talk about how wonderful the playlist was. We had a photobooth that was attended by Andres who also did a phenomenal job. All of our guests had a lot of fun and I have already received my pictures from him. I cannot stress enough how amazing everyone at Jimmy Dee Entertainment was. From in person, to e-mails, to phone calls over the course of a year, Jimmy Dee Entertainment never failed to impress.

After emailing Alex asking what happened, he says the scheduling department didn’t want to bother me over the details - which I think is ridiculous because it was in our contract. Our ceremony was outdoors and we told them a mic would be needed from the very beginning. The day ended up being a little misty and the mic ended not working, my guests told me afterwards they couldn’t hear. I’m not a sound system expert but pretty sure they made outdoor wiring... because the speaker was also outside for ceremony music it blew during the reception. My husband and I see them playing around with it while dancing so we go up. They blame the mist and then say this never happens - but it just did so what does this do for me right now? Mike our MC gives me a look like what do you want me to do about it? I email Alex one of the owners to inform him and he responds “I wish you a wonderful marriage” I would avoid. Not worth the headache on your wedding day. Between all these issues and not playing all the songs on our playlist l, the entertainment was just eh. It ended up still being the perfect day for us but could have done without Jimmy Dee.

ake our event extraordinary. He was 100% correct. Our daughter, who LOVES to dance, was so very afraid that Traditional dances and speeches would interfere with "HER" dancing. Richie who was the MC and Dave, the DJ assisted by Nick, managed to accommodate both camps. The tempo was set early and maintained to aid and assist the wait staff with food service while allowing our guests to dance. It was obvious that Richie et al were masterful of their craft and know how to keep a party moving. They were set up in such a manner as to be front and center while blending into the decor so as to not be overpowering. They were impeccably attired as expected and polite and professional to all. The Grandparents dance, Parents dance and few speeches were accommodated and worked into a complete party plan which Richie orchestrated. Jimmy Dee Entertainment was a great choice and we couldn't be happier.

that party-feel, we had Jimmy Dee provide uplighting and intelligent lighting to amp up the ballroom. We also had Duke perform on his saxophone while playing to the DJ’s music and what a treat that was! Duke’s performance helped to hype up the crowd without overpowering the music from the DJ booth. It was the perfect combination! In addition, we also asked Jimmy Dee to bring their open air photo booth which was a big hit! Our guests loved using their props to take funny/serious photos and it was great that Jimmy Dee created us a scrapbook photo album of all our guests from the photo booth. John did a fantastic job as the MC; he was able to get our guests on the dance floor and stay there the whole night. We absolutely loved Jimmy Dee and would highly recommend them for any wedding or special event party!

e. Everyone keeps telling me it was the most they ever danced at a wedding. They live instruments really made a difference. I cannot tell you how incredible my contact person (& MC) Nelson was. He was readily available for me the entire year (and yes, i annoyed him quite often.) He always calmed me down, explained certain options, gave his honest opinion etc. I really had an incredible experience working with him& the entire company.

They honored everything we requested, and had the dance floor full all night. Communication leading up to our wedding and throughout our wedding night was excellent, as Nelson checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy and let us know when speeches, dances, and cake cutting were coming up. We had an unforgettable night and Jimmy Dee was a big part of that!

r wedding, Jimmy Dee was recommended as a music vendor by our venue. We set up an initial meeting with Richie (our emcee for the evening), and described the vibe we wanted for the ceremony, for the cocktail hour, and for various parts of the reception. Richie told us he had it covered and knew exactly what songs to play to create the atmosphere and party that we wanted. The result was absolutely spectacular. Every single moment of our wedding had a perfect soundtrack. During the ceremony Rich (and his team: Dave and Keith, who were also incredible) provided our officiant with a microphone, and was perfectly on cue with each of the songs that we had chosen. Everything was above our wildest expectations -- Rich was able to nail the vibe we wanted for cocktail hour which we only described as “emotional folk.” The cocktail hour was elegant, calm, and relaxing. Moving into the reception, Rich turned it up in a big way and kept our guests dancing from 5:45 PM to 10 PM. He broke the night up into multiple sets and played a variety of different but fitting music in each set. Almost every single one of the 150 guests we had at our wedding remarked positively about the music, many telling us it was the best “dance wedding” they had ever been to, or that it was the best “music selection” they ever heard. Another guest remarked that this was “the first and only wedding, I’ve ever danced at, and the first wedding in a long time where I stayed til the last song.” Not only was the music perfect, but Rich was an awesome MC introducing many of the different aspects of the night. Looking back my fiancé and I both agree that, along with picking our venue, choosing Jimmy Dee was the most important decision we made in creating an amazing wedding experience. We would HIGHLY recommend Jimmy Dee for any event!!

exactly what happened...everything was just perfect!! The music kept everyone up on the dance floor, having a blast! My husband is originally from Ireland, so we had a lot of people from Ireland here celebrating with us...Richie and his team played just the right amount of fun Irish music...even my non-irish family were up dancing to it! All our guests LOVED the photo booth too, and we are so thankful to have all those fun pictures. We also asked Richie to help us create our Wedding Song Mash-Up, which included two versions of our song put together. He was more than happy to help us with this, and it came out beautiful! We will forever be grateful to Richie and his team fro helping make our wedding the best day ever!

I mentioned country and his suggestions of what songs and when to play them blew me away. He played everything on our “Play List” and most importantly on our “Do Not Play List”. He was a fantastic and seasoned MC. He got everyone dancing at the wedding and the wide carport music insured they stayed up all night! They were also very honest about pricing and what we needed, they never tried to sell me anything just to profit. Thank you Jimmy Dee!

you want to trust that they will provide everything that you're paying for. This company did not. Jimmy Dee entertainment was the worst and by far, the MOST DISRESPECTFUL vendor I have ever dealt with. I spoke to a representative who assigned me a DJ once my balance for services was almost paid off. The DJ and I spoke about two weeks prior to my wedding, and we had gone over all the necessary documents that they request for you to fill out. I made it very clear how important it was that the surprise video montage be played prior to our introduction to our reception, and the few dedicated songs I listed to also be played. I spent an extra $500 just to have the montage played, so that everyone who was there could feel very much a part of our wedding. Unfortunately, it did not go that way at all. The video was cut off before the end, and multiple guests did not get to see themselves in the video. Also, I had to make multiple trips to the DJ booth just to ask (the three DJ's) that they play my dedicated songs- which most were never played including the dedication I made to my mother. The screens at the DJ booth also had my name misspelled until the very end of our reception. The DJ played whatever he wanted and completely disregarded my requests. I cant tell you how upsetting it is to pay an upward of over $3300, to get everything but what you asked for. The absolute worst part is that once all was said and done, we thought it would be a good idea to let Jimmy Dee know what happened so that this doesn't happen to other couples going forward . We advised them of the issues, very politely, and this was their response to us: "Hey Drew and Melissa, As the claims are not congruent with reports from our team, we are gathering as much information as possible (i.e. exact playtimes, lengths of files played and list of songs played) to ascertain the truth. In the meantime, focusing on moving past the situation, I heard you guys had an awesome wedding. Aside from one of your guests having a bit much drink and breaking some of our equipment, the team said they had a great time partying with you. Once I can extract the music lists and data from the event, I will be in touch. Alex I had never spoken to this person before, nor had anyone discussed damaged equipment with us. After I responded to the email, and let them know that we were simply informing them of what happened, they quickly retracted and said that they didn't expect us to pay for any of the damages. But, what damages, but they just wanted to get the truth? As if we were lying? And how quickly things turned around rather than apologizing for the insufficient services rendered- and just be polite? I am writing this review so that you (bride) do not have to go through this. It's hard enough to plan and make sure everything falls into place, let alone deal with people who are unprofessional, and could care less about your wedding. Good luck with your wedding. I hope this helps!
