JLM Design & Events was great to work with! I wouldn't have changed a thing. Johanna kept me on track leading up to my wedding day and remaining flexible through the whole process. She was readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had when planning my wedding and get great advice. Her day of coordination was great and really took the stress off of my and my groom. I would highly recommend JLM Design & Events!

If your looking for a wedding coordinator that truly knows all the in and outs of wedding planning Johanna and her team at JLM is who you need to work with. She was simply the best. We didn’t have a worry in the world with her in our corner. She was 3 steps ahead and always had our best interest in mind. I would recommend JLM to anyone and everyone that’s getting married. If I could give 6/5 stars, I would. Truly cannot say enough about Johanna and her team. From the very first phone call that I had with Johanna, I could tell she cared and was excited to get to know me and my now husband. I quickly wanted to get the contract locked in because of this. After this step, Johanna immediately jumped in to walk us through organization and steps needed prior to the big day. Every meeting we had with her felt like hanging out with a friend, in the best way. Johanna often stayed way past the time she allotted for us just laughing and getting to know us on a personal level. I’m not sure she knows how much we truly valued the time she spent with us. She has so much experience and knowledge about the wedding industry as well as event management. Her unique background in managing construction makes her above the rest. Whether it’s guiding you through a rain plan, pointing you to a reliable vendor for last minute hiccups, or even offering fun late night snack/ favor ideas – Johanna has you covered. There was never a time that she didn’t respond to my emails, texts, calls instantly. A tropical storm spun up the week of our wedding and it ultimately dumped 4 inches of rain on our entire outdoor wedding. This didn’t seem to phase Johanna in the slightest. Her and her team put on their rain boots, zipped up their jackets, and proceeded to decorate our entire tent, manage all of the vendors, and made the day feel as if the sun was shining & everything was going as originally planned. I never felt stressed about the event itself because I knew JLM had it all covered. We love Johanna and words truly cannot express our absolute gratitude for her and her team. Without a doubt will highly recommend her for our entire lives moving forward.

If you're planning a wedding stop what you're doing and go hire Johanna and her team. I am not exaggerating when I say that hiring Johanna as our day-of-coordinator was the single best decision my husband and I made in our wedding planning process. I can be very Type A (and have built a career in project management) so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a coordinator who could 1) handle my personality (admittedly I can be a lot) and 2) could be organized enough that I could truly turn my brain off for my wedding ceremony and just enjoy the day. Johanna absolutely blew us away. Not only is she one of the most organized people I've ever met, she's an incredibly kind and genuine human, and made us feel like we had a true teammate in this crazy wedding planning process. When people tell you that no matter how much you prepare your wedding will never go exactly according to plan, they mean it. The MORNING of my wedding I received an email from my photobooth vendor that their equipment was broken and that they could no longer fulfill our contract. Johanna helped us secure a replacement vendor in a matter of hours and took care of the logistics so my husband and I could be fully present on our wedding day. We also experienced a crazy rain storm that disrupted a key period of our timeline and had to postpone our outdoor ceremony, but Johanna was there every step of the way taking caring of the last minute change of plans, advocating for us, and making sure the vision we had for our ceremony and reception was executed beautifully in the end. I genuinely cannot say enough kind things about Johanna. If you want a knowledgeable professional who also feels like a friend you've known for years to help plan or coordinate your wedding or event, hire JLM Design & Events. Johanna was fantastic! From the first meeting we had together, my wife and I had no doubt that our wedding would not skip a beat when we took a backseat on the wedding day. Johanna has wonderful communication. She answered any and all questions we had in a matter of hours. She had planning documents prepared quickly and with great detail at the end of every meeting. Johanna always had a positive attitude and was incredibly easy to work with. I could not recommend a better planner from a better event team!

Joanna was fantastic as our wedding coordinator! If we could do it all over again, the only thing we would change is hiring her to help us sooner. She is very kind, patient, thoughtful, and understanding regarding the entire wedding planning process. On the actual wedding day, we unfortunately had lots of rain before our outdoor ceremony and she sprung into action to make sure we could execute a backup plan as well as help keep our ceremony items as dry as possible. We felt very confident in Joanna and her team to run everything as smoothly as possible and that’s exactly what happened despite our rain delay and schedule shifts!

Johanna and her team could not have been any better. Johanna always made herself available for any last minute questions or concerns we had. The planning process was way less stressful than it could have been with Johanna’s help. I can not recommend JLM Design & Events enough. Everything about this entire experience was made better with her team, we are forever grateful for how our wedding day turned out with the help of Johanna.

Johanna was very organized and always made me feel like I had everything in order after every meeting with her. The day of I was able to enjoy our wedding without worrying, and perhaps a bigger compliment is that my mom mentioned how glad she was we hired a day of coordinator so she could truly enjoy our wedding as well.

Johanna was so incredible during the entire year and a half of our wedding planning process. She was so flexible and worked so well off of my level of involvement in planning (which was a lot). She showed concern over issues that we were worried about and reassured us based on her experience that immediately put our minds at ease. She was so organized and on top of things that we would never have thought of and paid attention to every little detail. We never felt like we were burdening her with questions especially as wedding day started to approach which is so crucial to managing stress levels. We always felt like we were her number 1 priority. I would highly recommended Johanna to any couple who wants a true wedding expert on their team to make their lives less stressful and more enjoyable during such a unique and special time!

Johanna did a fantastic job coordinating my wedding reception. She was very professional and organized, while also very friendly and pleasant. I did the tablecloths and decor myself and felt a huge sense of relief when I handed it all off to her on Friday afternoon. After that I was able to just relax and enjoy my big day because I knew that she would take care of all the set up and make it look nice. Some lighting and other items I provided didn’t fit quite right in the reception room, but she flexed and made it perfect. She and her team made sure the flow of the evening went smoothly, and we didn’t forget anything that we wanted to do. Hiring her was a great decision. I strongly recommend her!
