Joe and Jen Photography

lly enjoy photos) captured so much character and joy. After the ceremony we had a champagne picnic, and we love those photos and memories so much. They gave us the space we needed to relish the moment, but they also contributed to some of our favorite new memories! Joe and Jen helped us relax and celebrate our big day, and their photography is beautiful and will help us remember every minute of it forever. We can't wait to book them for a big reception! :)

st moments attests to their skill as photographers, but more importantly, speaks to how they make people feel - comfortable being their genuine selves. Because of this, they excel at telling stories through images that are candid, raw, and spark emotion. Thank you Joe and Jen for giving Dexter and I such a glowing experience! Looking back on our photos brings us so much pride, confidence, and happiness. They are truly irreplaceable.

g moments of our day. What you might not be able to glean from the pictures is how fantastic they are to work with, here are some specific reasons: 1) Joe and Jen are a husband and wife team who radiate LOVE in their relationship. They are so fun, easy going, creative, and they seem to have perfected their working partnership. Every move they make seems effortless and I barely noticed when they were taking candid shots. 2) Joe and Jen immediately put you at ease - ESPECIALLY helpful if you don't love having your picture taken. They don't do the standard "fake laughter pose" with your wedding party. They have so many fun and creative ways to get natural reactions and laughter from your families, wedding party, grandparents, little kids - everyone! 3) Joe and Jen are so communicative and supportive. I went to them for suggestions for other vendors and they are more than happy to help! We found our DJ and our groom/groomsmen suits thanks to their recommendations. 4) Joe and Jen took away the stress of planning a wedding day timeline. They have a very thorough questionnaire which is SO HELPFUL. They even ask if there are priority photos you want (for example, I wanted candid pictures with my dad since I don't have any) and they made sure to capture those special moments. Their timeline helped me plan with my other vendors. I can't recommend Joe and Jen enough!

n't even seen the final photos yet and they get 10 out of 5 stars in our book. They were so incredibly helpful through every step of the wedding planning process. I don't know how I would have even started to organize a schedule for the day of if it wasn't for Joe and Jen's help! Even more than that they are just amazing, truly kind and caring people. In any moment of stress or concern one of them was there before I could even ask the question with a solution and a smile. They were INCREDIBLY thoughtful and patient with our extended families and made sure to get the (long) list of 'required' photos taken care of efficiently but didn't make it seem rushed. My entire family loved them! Gosh, I could talk about these two all day, but I'll again just stress they are the best, we cannot recommend these genuinely kind, fun, funny, loving, TALENTED people enough. We are in awe of them both!

ould fit it into our budget. After meeting other photographers and talking through what our priorities were, we decided to go with Joe and Jen, and we did not second guess that choice one time in the whole process. Joe and Jen took the time to get to know us as a couple, our story, what is important to us, who we love, and how we live our lives. Somehow, they got all of that into beautiful photos for our engagement and of our wedding. We are beyond happy with how our photos turned out, and, just as importantly, we were so thrilled with the level of service, attention to detail, and love they put into the entire process. We had multiple wedding guests comment to us at and after the wedding that Joe was "literally everywhere," and how impressed they were. And it's true! During your engagement photos and wedding day, your photographers are there for literally every second. They are there while you're getting dressed, they are there when you're getting emotional with your family, and they are there when you finally get a moment "alone" with your new spouse immediately after your ceremony. Joe and Jen captured everyone one of these moments with a balance of professionalism and friendship, and it was our true pleasure to work with them for our wedding.

. Photos can be a stressful part of the wedding day for the bridal party. It can get long, and boring. This wasn’t the case for us! Joe and Jen had us playing games, talking to each other, and sharing our love for each other for the few hours leading up to the wedding. They have a way of working that makes you forget you are taking photos together. I have had multiple friends and family reach out after the wedding to say how much fun they had taking photos at our wedding. Joe and Jen made our wedding the best possible experience for us, and the photos are stunning. We will treasure them for years to come. Thank you Joe and Jen!

ved their photos so much, so we decided to meet with Joe & Jen. The best part about the meeting was that they truly wanted to get to know us, how we met, what we love, our hobbies, what our vision was for our wedding day. It wasn't a 20 minute meeting about what each package will get us, it was so much more. We decided to book before we even got to our car. Our engagement photos were SO fun. It had been our dream to do our photos out on the river on our boat, and we did it! I was super nervous that day, to the point where I thought I was going to throw up. But about two minutes in, my nerves were completely gone. It felt like we were out with friends laughing and enjoying each other's company, and our photos are amazing! In the months before the wedding, Jen helped us plan our timeline and got a list of all photos we wanted that day. She helped us plan in enough time for family photos, and kept us organized, making sure we got every single photo with every family member. It was so important in making sure no one was left out and we got every photo we wanted. Normally during family photos we hear "are we done yet?" constantly. But every single one of our family members enjoyed family pictures. And I have never seen us all laugh so hard during photos. Joe is hilarious! And it shows in our photos, they are candid and fun and really full of joy and life, not staged with forced smiles. It's truly amazing. Our photos went so smoothly we even had extra time to take some couple portraits with our dog, and that ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day. Working with Joe & Jen was by far the best decision we made, our photos are authentic and personal and candid and beautiful and really captured the happiness and joy of our day. It's been over a month and I still get compliments from my family and friends about how much they enjoyed Joe & Jen and how much they absolutely love our photos. We can't wait to work with Joe & Jen for our family photos in the future!

h an amazing job in capturing the real moments and emotions of the wedding day. Not only are their photos stunning but they were such a wonderful couple to work with. They helped us create our timeline for the day and made our wedding day effortless. We got so many compliments on them. I highly recommend working with Joe and Jen Photography!

ng, thanks to Joe & Jen! They did such a good job at capturing the candid moments and did not make it feel like we were taking a ton of posed photos. They managed to wrangle together big (and loud) families to get group shots, which was very impressive. They also have such a good understanding of lighting and capturing special moments. It was really important to us to have 2 photographers so they could capture different angles of our special day, and what better duo than a husband and wife?! I could not recommend them enough to everyone out there. They are up for any ideas (we did smoke bombs!) and are so fun to work with. We will treasure our photos forever!

eam day, seeing all our family, friends, but most of all, the incredible emotions of the day so well photographed. They are also consummate professionals along every step of the way, from their initial meeting to the final delivery of the photos. On a day filled with nerves, Joe and Jen had fun ways to help us feel at ease with the camera, but more importantly, helped my husband and I stay focused on each other and our day. They answered every question I had quickly, provided above and beyond what we'd asked for and delivered a product that is well worth the investment.

s to smile. Jen made sure we got every shot we requested, including some great dance-floor action. Their style is to make you feel very relaxed and get real photos (instead of concentrating on posing your hands the right way and stacking everyone until you get a standard awkward photo). We couldn't recommend them more.

erience working with Joe & Jen and seeing their BEAUTIFUL work, I could not agree more! Joe & Jen are incredibly organized, responsive and patient - they essentially walked us through the entire process and answered any questions we had promptly and patiently. The survey they send out a few weeks before your wedding day covers EVERYTHING. It was wonderful to have piece of mind that Joe & Jen had thought of everything and importantly were sensitive to blended/divorced families as that can stress out any bridal couple leading up to and the day of your wedding. I could not have imagined hanging out with a better photog duo on our wedding day. Joe & Jen were the perfect combination of keeping to the schedule and just being fun to be around ☺ Our entire family LOVED them and GUSHED over our wedding photos. Charlie and I cannot thank them enough for capturing our wedding day and making us look phenomenal in the process. We highly recommend them!!! http://wibride.com/real-weddings/one-night-only-ashley-and-charlies-1920s-wedding-majestic-theatre

ould have wanted - and more. They captured each moment with such attention and care. To top off their excellent work, Joe & Jen are a delight to work with — they get everyone to come out of their shell and the results are each and every person they photograph's real self shines through. Joe & Jen were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, we whole-heartedly recommend them.

aphers!!

- simply the best! My husband and I met with several different photography studios when selecting our engagement and wedding photography, and my man went to art school and can be an art snob and pretty particular about pictures and photography... Joe and Jen not only met his ridiculously high standard of art aesthetic, they exceeded it :) Choosing a photographer is such a major decision for any bride and groom, but I urge anyone reading these reviews to please contact Joe and Jen for a consultation - here are just a few things I know firsthand you will receive: 1) Attentiveness - what do you want, how do you want it, they not only ask because it is their job, they ask because they care and want to make sure you are getting everything you want and more on your big day 2) Professionalism - sadly, I was probably not the easiest bride to have worked with because I decided not to eat prior to my wedding and woozy following their ceremony when it was picture time :( Joe and Jen were not only accommodating, they were relentless in their pursuit of getting the perfect shots - even if that meant waiting until I did McDonalds run before the reception and getting better :) These two put in way more time than I expected, and I am so appreciative of their work. 3) High Quality - I am amazed at the quality of work Joe and Jen provide - their pricing is ridiculously reasonable for what you receive. I visited with other photographers that had much higher fees and not even close to artistic style nor expert appearance that Joe and Jen's portfolio demonstrated. 4) ROI - so, based on the above three bullets, what I'm really advocating for is the return on investment you receive with Joe and Jen. You will receive so much more than what you pay for.

weeks ago. They are the absolute best to work with and know how to make people feel comfortable and bring out the best in them for pics. Cannot wait to get our wedding pics back!

rtable in front of the camera in a fun and calming way, and Jen REALLY understands what you want as an end result. They are a blast to work with, are highly professional, and deliver stunning work. The benefit of two photographers really shows, as they're able to capture different vantage points during big moments. I couldn't be happier with their calming, fun, reassuring personalities, as well as their profesional products. We were able to form a relationship with them and will recommend them to anyone and everyone with a photography or design need!

under 2 weeks from the wedding and we received our final products within 4 weeks. They are very quick at taking pictures; sometimes I wish there had been more to choose from with the group pictures. Maybe just ask for multiple shots to be taken!
