My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Joe for both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. He was absolutely phenomenal! Our engagement photos were taken in Harpers Ferry; Joe suggested we go in the morning to avoid crowds and for the desired look we were going for. Before even meeting him I had trust in him as these suggestions alone showed he planned ahead and truly tailored his services for his clients. Despite the freezing, early morning temperatures he brought his A game. He came up with creative areas to shoot, and was even willing to climb into some difficult spots to get the perfect shot. Words literally cannot describe how EPIC these photos are (I wish the knot let me post them on my review!). On the day of our wedding Joe arrived early and was able to capture great moments of my bridesmaids and I getting ready! He documented our ceremony beautifully and definitely got our best angles. After the ceremony he was extremely patient dealing with corralling our rowdy wedding party into fantastic group photos. He continued to shoot great candid shots throughout the reception as well. I love looking back on these and seeing all the ‘little moments’ of the evening that other photographers may have overlooked. Joe has a fantastic, fun personality that will put even the most awkward people at ease and is masterful at getting beautiful photos. We could honestly have not asked for more. I wholeheartedly recommend him and couldn’t imagine putting my trust in anyone else to capture such a monumental day.
