me. Prior to the wedding/reception they had a very organized approach to gathering all information needed to ensure a successful event. On the day of the wedding they were reliable, guided the progression through each transition and event, and knew how to ensure our guests had a good time on the dance floor. One element that stood out was their effort assign a DJ that was a good fit and had the experience most needed for our particular event and guests. His style was a powerful blend of BOTH leadership AND humility, as we had specifically requested that he remain as much "in the background" as possible. They made sure that they understood our expectations so that no assumptions were made, while also guiding us through some decisions that we were uncertain & inexperienced about. The way that all of their client interactions are set up provides such a great framework for success! It is obvious from the first contact that they care sincerely about making their customers’ events everything they want them to be, and that they have the experience, skills & resources to do just that. r details for the wedding AJ was very thorough in his questions and confirming timing. We had some last minute schedule changes during the day because of rain and our DJ was great at going with the flow and communicating with our coordinator.

We had the craziest music for ceremony and I wasn’t sure he could make it happen….. they did!!!! My husband used to listen to snoop dog and dr Dre in his youth… well guess who provided the bad ass instrumental for my husband to make his entrance walking down the aisle … joes!!!! And the rest of the night was Fantastic because they do the best job on anything you need!!!

e best ways. Going with real pros made all the difference, as it’s clear how much the professionalism and expertise of the Joe’s team really paid off. AJ was fantastic to work with ahead of our wedding. He was beyond patient and understanding when we needed to postpone due to the pandemic, and when we finally started the planning process in earnest, he was quick to answer every question I had. From strategies to amplify the ceremony at our remote outdoor venue to the best mic setup for our videographers to capture the audio they needed, he’d done it all before (and worked with many of our Bozeman-based vendors as well), and the value of that experience was clear. And of course, the detailed questionnaire and follow-up call the week before the wedding was the perfect way to make sure we’d ironed out all of the details. As a bride, it often felt like my job to think of everything, but with Joe’s, I got the comfort and relief of a pro who’d thought of everything I hadn’t and was always one step ahead. Our wedding day was wonderful but a bit chaotic, validating all of the prep work Joe’s did to be ready for anything. Some nasty weather rolled in and we had to change quickly to an indoor venue, but because we'd been over the backup plan, our DJ was able to shift gears quickly without scrambling for new instructions. And about that DJ: Ryan was a ROCK STAR!! It was a bit of a fire drill for him to pack up his equipment when the rain came and switch over to our alternate venue, but he did an absolutely amazing job. The second setup worked really well, with all of our guests able to hear our ceremony clearly—a huge priority. Ryan was also very responsive to feedback, turning the volume down during dinner when asked and rolling with other requests. We’d provided a list of songs in advance, but unfortunately his printed copies got rained on and partially ruined… however, I didn’t realize that until much later because he understood our vibe so well that he ended up playing what we would've wanted anyway! We got compliments not just from guests but from our shuttle drivers saying that the party sounded fantastic and that we had the best playlist—all thanks to Ryan! We loved the fantastic energy he brought, joining our friends on the dance floor and understanding exactly how to keep people pumped up. We wanted a mix of country, pop, and some “guilty pleasure” tunes from our college days. He managed to find the perfect blend, switching it up to keep things fresh without giving anyone musical whiplash. The moment Ryan became the real MVP of our wedding was when he approached our venue and got them to extend our end time! He saw how much fun we were having and took it upon himself to see if we could keep things going. We had the very best night, thanks to Ryan’s intuition and initiative and the professionalism and preparation of the whole Joe’s team. I cannot recommend them enough!

He went BEYOND his job as a DJ to make sure our night was special, by offering to get us drinks and checking on us throughout the night, as well as entertaining one of our flower girls. 😂 I highly recommend Joe's DJ! Even when things didn't go as planned (like a fire alarm during the ceremony) Drew was wonderful at lightening the mood and helping to get everything back on track. Overall I couldn't recommend them enough for your wedding or event. From the coordination with AJ to the final song Drew played, they made the event a success!

It appeared as though our DJ did not look over our day-of timeline as key events were missed/mis-announced throughout the evening. During the dancing portion, our DJ had trouble reading the room and keeping the party going despite requests from our guests. While I'm sure Joe's DJ service has some wonderful DJ's on staff, ours did not meet the mark for our big day.

ure towards the end of the night we had heard everything we wanted to hear. They also provided music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a specific recording from a family friend to play during the ceremony and they cued it up perfectly while staying very out of the way from the main event. A great DJ makes all the difference for a great party!
