Priscah was the epitome of what a wedding planner should be. She was very punctual with everything. Her working with the other vendors took a lot of pressure off of us. We’re so grateful that she was not only our wedding planner, but a true and dear friend.

My husband and I moved to Columbus in 2017 without knowing anyone in the city or even the state - let alone knowing anything about wedding planning or finding the right vendors for a South Asian wedding! When we decided to get married in Columbus, we knew that we needed someone who knows all about the business to help us plan and execute this. I have never planned a trip outside of the United States and I wanted the perfect honeymoon. I heard about sandals but wanted to know more. I met Priscah at a wedding event and she was so helpful. All the different options out there can be overwhelming, but Priscah was extremely knowledgeable. I chose Sandals Royal Bahamian so I could go to Pig Island (always been a dream) and it was honestly the best vacation of my life and I will cherish the memories forever. Priscah made planning for it easy and she was always a resource to ask any questions we had. We only had one mishap while at the resort and Priscah was there to make sure everything was done to fix it. In the end it all turned out perfect! I can't wait to go back again someday and visit other Sandals too! I will make sure I keep her email contact for those future trips.

Priscah was our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. From our first phone conversation, Priscah made me feel at ease about planning my wedding in Columbus from out of state. It was a pleasure working with Priscah from Joie de Vivre Events. We used Priscah for our pre-planning wedding services and day of coordination. Priscah is very organized and keeps up to date on weekly and monthly tasks through a online basecamp website. This is very user friendly and multiple people can be added such as groom and bride/groom parents if they want. Priscah will give you recommendations for vendors to use and suggested vendors she had previously worked with. There is still quite a bit of planning from the bride and grooms side that needs to be done. Once the recommendations are given, you will need to contact them individually requesting pricing information and dates available for trials,etc. Overall, I enjoyed working with Priscah and she was very helpful and organized during my meetings with the sales manager. Things went smoothly on the day of wedding and I did not feel stressed out. Everything went perfect and I couldn't have done it without her help :)

Priscah is an amazing Event Manager – she very rapidly came up to speed regarding our event, asked the right questions to understand the unique needs and risks. We were on the edge about deciding whether we needed a wedding planner and I'm so glad we decided to go with Priscah. She stepped in and took charge for the rehearsal when our priest wasn't able to make it due to flight issues. And then again on the day of the wedding when the electricity was not working she helped things run smoothly. Definitely glad we had her!

They were very professional and really made our wedding events run smoothly. Priscah did such a great job we actually referred my cousin to them and recently ran into Priscah at their wedding. Our cousin hired Priscah (Joie de Vivre Events) for his wedding and was so happy with her that we decided to bring her on to help with our wedding as well. Our wedding was October 17, 2015 and I'm so happy we had her helping us for the past year to plan this huge event. It was an Indian wedding with nearly 400 guests at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. Right from the beginning, she was professional and helpful. She kept us on track with our tasks and gave us a ton of helpful insight and advice and watched out for us. She caught things early that could have been a problem (for example, the city couldn't find our parade permit and she realized this and lots of other things we didn't even think of). Our transportation service bailed on us at the last minute and she came up with a solution on the spot. She contacts your vendors and makes sure expectations are clear and things go smoothly. She has really good ideas and can picture how things should go and how to make it happen. Our wedding weekend was perfect and we could not have done this without her. My husband and I hired Priscah from Joie de Vivre Events as a day of coordinator for our wedding. I used Sabrina because my sister and several colleagues had used her and highly recommended her. I can't even describe how stress-free she made the entire process. Instead of relying on google and friends to pick vendors, she gives you only the best options. She works with vendors that she trusts and have been proven reliable. I have been to several friend's weddings who did not have that luxury. From controlling photographers to ill-equipt DJs, unfortunately some of my friends were examples of what I didn't want. My wedding was exactly the opposite. Everything was perfect. Sabrina and her team were professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Sabrina was extremely helpful every step of the way, and she helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. She even saved the reception when our band almost ruined the night! (Let's just say that our band, which shall remain nameless, should have advised us to hire an MC as opposed to telling us that they would take care of it). Sabrina at Joie de Vivre Events was great to work with, she was always professional and extremely helpful. I had never thought about hiring a wedding planner for my wedding. It honestly seemed unnecessary to me. I can plan my wedding by myself. No problem, right? After going through the planning process with a couple of my gf's and seeing how stressful and how much tedious work was involved, I started to reconsider. Even before our first meeting, as I started to venture into the 'world of weddings', I quickly became overwhelmed. After meeting with Sabrina that first time, my fears and anxiety quickly subsided. She presented everything in a professional, relaxed, organized manner. I loved it! I had expressed to Sabrina that I wanted to 'earn' hiring her by all the discounts that come along with hiring a wedding planner, specifically vender discounts such a linens, photographer, florist, and so on. Simply by being her client, we were awarded discount after discount! It was awesome! Hiring Joie de Vivre was well worth the money spent. She not only saved us money, but she had our best interest in mind the entire time. This is something that really made a difference when it came to deciding on linens, flowers, and a photographer. She was not just my Wedding Planner, but also the girlfriend who actually listened to what I was saying and what I wanted for my wedding day, the neutralizer at times because of differing opinions between my mother and I, and was the ultimate organizer for everything wedding! All wrapped up into one person....incredible! I could go on for pages about Joie de Vivre...... I never realized how helpful having a Wedding Planner would be until I got engaged and started the wedding-planning process. The entire time we were engaged, the ability to call, text, email, or meet with a professional wedding planner was priceless to me. On our wedding day, I cannot express how critical it was that Sabrina was there, managing everything, rather than my mother, aunt, cousin, or whoever else thought they knew what to do. lol She allowed not only myself and the groom to relax knowing that everything was under control, but more importantly my parents, his parents, and the bridal party. I never realized how many details were involved in just one day, but I'm sure glad I had Sabrina from Joie de Vivre there to make sure everything wet smoothly. Again, I could go on for days. Bottom Line...... Joie de Vivre was the BEST thing that I did for our wedding. Very highly recommended. Joie de Vivre was worth every cent. Sabrina Suri is a wedding coordinator that I happend to meet at a close friend of mine's wedding. She helped make one of her packages affordable for me, without that I would have been on my own. She was incredibly helpful when it came to picking vendors and helping us stay on budget. She gave us a wide variety of vendors to chose from and set up meetings for my fiance to choose which one we prefered. My fiance and I lived 2 hours apart so this task would have been especially difficult for us but because Sabrina was our wedding coordinator they were willing to meet us at times that worked for us, weekends and evenings which is usually when they would have events or be closed. When it came down to the wedding itself most of the small details were already taken care of because Sabrina helped make small reminder lists for me so that everything was done. One complaint was that some of our vendors turned out to not be so reliable, however, it was Sabrina's first time working with them as well. The only other thing I found difficult was that with Kevin and I's ridiculous schedule was that Sabrina also had a hard schedule to work with as well sometimes. She was absent or late for some important meetings especially when it got closer to the day and meetings were made last minute. Overall I found her service incredibly helpful especially in the first few months of inital planning and helping us follow a timeline.

My sister got married May 2010 and being the Maid of Honor, I was in charge of the Bachlorette Party. The party and wedding were in Columbus, but I live 3 hours away. Working full-time and going to school full-time plus not knowing Columbus at all, made this party almost impossible to plan! Without Joie de Vivre, I would have been a mess.
