Very unprofessional. Final product was missing items discussed in package. I think the stress of working with them took time off my lifespan.
The invitations are even more beautiful than I had hoped. They have truly made me even more excited about the wedding. I cannot wait to hear from guests when they receive them. I k...
now everyone else will love them as much as we do! Laura perfectly encapsulated everything we wanted, and the final product is literally perfection! I am wowed! I'd love work together again sometime!
I had the pleasure of working with Laura of Jolly Edition to design the paper goods for my wedding in Tuscany on 5.30.24. She created beautiful, whimsical designs for us that set t...
he tone for our entire wedding aesthetic. I found wedding planning to be pretty stressful overall, but working with Laura was genuinely enjoyable and fun! Her art gave me a little glimpse into how everything I imagined for the day might all come together in the end. Once we began working together, she created a timeline for each step of the design/printing/delivery process and this was strictly adhered to over a nearly two year period. Like clockwork every few months I had another check-in from her to get started on our next set of designs—it was always a joy to see her name in my inbox! She always responded promptly to me and although not many edits were needed, she always delivered those in a timely manner as well.
Our guests gave the sweetest compliments about our save the dates and invitations, and I know they helped to create a lot of excitement for our wedding. I may be biased, but they are some of the most special, personal and beautiful invitations I’ve ever seen :) She painted our venue, my husband and I, our little dog Henry, and lots of special details that really captured the vibe of our event. For our wedding day, she created bar menus, personalized menus for each guest’s place setting, and table signs. Her work was truly essential in bringing our vision for the day together. Perhaps the best part is that she sent us her original paintings so that we can have them framed as a keepsake forever. Thanks for everything Laura!

Could not recommend her enough! Will definitely be going back to her for any other special events I have.
The programs, place cards and escort cards are beautiful! I love them so much thank you!

eally happy was designing and creating our invitations with Laura. You are great to work with, understood my vision, and did what you said you were going to do when you said you'd do it! The invitations make my heart happy every time I look at them :)
Worst part of our wedding planning experience. Laura was so difficult to work with, inflexible, and an unprofessional communicator. For the price, this was a beyond stressful and u...
npleasant experience and we regretted hiring Laura from our first moments working with her. Our planner will no longer allow clients to work with Laura going forward after the experience we had.
They are beautiful! Lovely! Amazing! I am beyond thrilled that we chose to work with you. Thank you for turning a tiny idea into a reality. We can't wait to mail these out!
If you hate yourself hire Laura. She is rude, incompetent, condescending, and not creative. She will charge you extra, so look at your invoices carefully because they are not accur...
ate. She will promise to have things completed by a certain time… they will not be. Some bribes I know who hired her, ended up not being able to send out invitations until 3-4 weeks before wedding despite working on them for 2 years. She refuses to speak with you on the phone. Instead, she will answer one email a day and use that as an excuse for a delay. She is a rude conman. I have no clue how she is in business.
It's been a pleasure working with Laura at Jolly Edition! We had a big vision for our wedding stationary and knew we wanted something completely unique and customized for our date....
Laura's vision for our Save the Dates blew us away, and we received so many complements on them. Laura worked with us on our wedding invitations and was receptive and accommodating to all of our design requests. She is very organized and responsive in all email communications. I knew what to expect each step of the way. She is truly a pro & an artist and will make your wedding stationary dreams become a reality.
Thank you so much for the work you did for us. We received so many compliments on your creation -- several people said they were the most beautiful paper goods they've EVER seen.

p were absolutely gorgeous. She completely turned our vision into reality! So many of our friends told us we had the most beautiful wedding invites they had ever received. Money well spent, and I can't recommend her enough.

be my "splurge" item for the wedding. They worked with my budget so that I was able to use them for our big day.
Jolly Edition were friendly and inviting during the information collection process. The forms sent along encouraged us to explain not only what we wanted for our stationary, but also who we are as a couple, and that made me confident that the pieces would be full of our personality. The Pinterest board of images also gave me a way to show off our love as a couple and the aesthetic we were aiming for.
I am not exaggerating here: when the proofs came through, I cried! I sent them to my mom and sister immediately and we couldn't get over how perfectly Laura had captured the sentiment and feeling of our relationship and our wedding. I hardly had any feedback, but what I did request was accommodated very quickly and graciously. On the wedding day, the stationary did a wonderful job of tying everything together. Everything was printing on high quality paper and with vibrant ink so they felt weighty and thoughtful.
Laura was always responsive, attentive, and kind throughout the entire process. Whenever I had a concern or questions - be it about the artwork or the billing or the shipping - they eased my concerns and took care of everything. They really care about their clients and it shows through both in their work and in their interactions with the people they design for. I highly recommend Jolly Edition!

r both sides in an easy to understand document. They expertly guided us through a series of fun questions to develop our nascent ideas into a fully-realized vision. While they worked to make our vision into a work of art, they kept us informed of their progress; we never doubted they were working hard on our project. The result is incredible. Jolly Edition created a beautiful work of art that celebrates our life. We love seeing it every day and being able to share it with others. We look forward to another opportunity to work with Jolly Edition.

ented on our invites and said how much they love them. Even some of my dad's patients asked because the invite was in his office (one patient has a daughter that's engaged so we passed along your info). Huge hit. HUGE.
Thank you for being so incredible throughout the process. We came at you with some late revisions and you were so accommodating, it is so appreciated as we make our way through this whole wedding planning blur blindly :)

ir beautiful customized wedding stationery. Working with Laura to create our invitations has been, by far, the most fun part of our wedding planning experience. Their design sense and attention to detail are impeccable, and they provided the warmest customer service imaginable. Caring, helpful, and showed genuine enthusiasm about our project. Jolly Edition perfectly realized our vision for our wedding invitations. The work is stunning and completely unique. I can't thank Jolly Edition enough for their role in our special day!

commend them 100%! It was also extremely easy to work via email.
When I began planning our wedding, I knew that I wanted the day to be a reflection of who we are as a couple. One of the ideas that I had for this was to have a custom illustration of us done for the wedding program. The only issue was how to make this happen! I spent a lot of time searching for someone to do this locally, but never found the right fit or style. After quite a while I came across Jolly Edition's work online. From the moment I contacted them, it felt right. I credit Jolly Edition with bringing the vision I had for our wedding come to life.
PS: For anyone who is a little scared of hiring someone online, don't be! Jolly Edition is a dream to work with and throughout the whole design process you will be taken care of!

said something about us as a couple. When we found Jolly Edition's work, we instantly knew that we had found what we were looking for. Our invitations set the tone for our whimsical yet sophisticated wedding, and are so personalized to us and our venue. It's been fun hearing all our guests tell us how much they loved them, something I don't think happens often with wedding invitations. Laura was personable, kind and open to any suggestions and critiques we had during the process, which made them wonderful to work with. We can't wait to find an excuse to tap their talent again!

their work we thought we had a good idea of what they would create for us, but every project they work on is totally unique and the design they produced was completely different to what we had imagined. We had total trust in Jolly Edition to create something special, so we pushed ahead with their design - and it really paid off! Our finished project perfectly captures the style and tone of our wedding.. We couldn't be happier - thank you again guys.
There is no doubt Laura is extremely talented. However, it was clear to me that she was struggling to cope with the amount of projects she had taken on. Deadlines came and went wit...
h no word from her. And even though she kept sending additional invoices, the final invitation was much simpler and more limited than we had discussed at the beginning and for the price. I see on Instagram she does amazing, detailed work for other couples, and I was still fairly happy with what I ended up with, but I was bummed to have my project clearly be low priority.
We’d seen Jolly Edition a couple of years ago, and we instantly knew they were the stationers for us. Basically, they spend a lot of time finding out about us and our interests, an...

tations and RSVP cards. I've been getting messages and emails from people saying that they're the most beautiful ones they've ever seen to which I agree heartily! These are so beautiful, so personal, so creative - I can't stop smiling! You have made something which David and I are both so proud to share and which we and our guests will never forget, but which are also lovely pieces of art in their own right. It's wonderful to see our marriage, which will make us so happy, represented by something so beautiful. Thank you so very, very, very much!

This business and the artist behind it named Laura Shema are a scam!! Don’t be fooled by her website- she says she’s featured by Bride Magazine and Martha Stuart and all of these r...
eputable sources. I paid her $3,000 for a fully custom wedding invitation suite and it was a complete sham- the work she sent me was so horrible looking and cheap that I couldn’t even use it for my wedding. When I asked her to fix it she said “per our contract” I could only request an hour worth of changes and the rest I had to PAY FOR. It took her three and a half months so send me me save the date rough draft (!!!!) and she sent me two stick figures on a save that looked like she shopped it out. I was completely scammed and you’ll notice this lady doesn’t have any other websites for reviews. I normally don’t leave reviews but I want to warn all of you amazing brides so that you won’t have the experience I did. Jolly Edition and Laura Shema are scamming people. STAY AWAY.

ed the process of sharing with them our story and our values, and we loved even more the way they were able to translate that into a stunningly beautiful and charming work of art that we had the privilege of calling our wedding invitation. Out of all of the details and moments of our wedding, the one aspect that our guests have continued to rave about is Laura's work. Truly masters of their craft, and we could not have been more pleased with the process or the final product. I wish I could embed fireworks in this review to better reflect how overjoyed and enthusiastic we are about Jolly Edition!
DO NOT HIRE! I had an incredible and fun experience with wedding planning... except for Jolly Edition. I chose Jolly Edition due to their unique and talented invitations and statio...
nary. I wanted these items to set the tone for the entire day. I 110% regret my decision for hiring Jolly Edition. It was not only that I felt I could not communicate with Laura because she would refuse to talk on the phone... but she was completely unprofessional. She would only answer 1 email a day and would never answer the email fully. This would add on "time" to the project allowing her to delay it for weeks. She refused to talk on the phone except when my wedding planner begged her... which was a completely unproductive call. In the end, I sketched and gave specific instructions on how to design every single item. Therefore, the creativity and imaginative custom process that I PAID for did not occur. I also ended up having to hire a printing company due to the chaos. We almost did not have invitations... we started over a year ahead of time. Jolly Edition should not be in the wedding business at all due to their lack of initiative, refusal to communicate, unprofessional behavior, extreme sensitivity to criticism, and refusal to accept responsibility of a problem or mistake. A TRUE NIGHTMARE.
We used Jolly Edition for our wedding and absolutely loved their work, they made a portrait of us that we displayed - it was absolutely beautiful. Laura is a talented artist and t...
he painting is one that we still treasure today. She included all sorts of little details or personal to us in the illustration. We loved her work so much that we have since had portraits done by her for her to commemorate our honeymoon, our dog, and she is now making one to commemorate the birth of our first baby. Every experience we’ve had with Jolly Edition has been wonderful and resulted in beautiful artwork that we treasure.
