My husband and I worked with Jackquelyn of Josefina Weddings & Events to plan our dream wedding weekend at wineries in Temecula. She did all the planning and was absolutely incredible. She found all of our vendors, toured venues with us, ordered and sent out all our save the dates & invitations, and made my Pinterest board come to life. She was always just a text or a phone call away and made sure we were on track with everything months out from the big day. Her day of itinerary kept us completely on track for the day, handled all coordination/set up/take down, and made sure that we felt like superstars that day! We are so so thankful for everything she did for us! Thank you Jackquelyn!!!!
We loved working with Jackquelyn of Josefina Events for the planning of our destination wedding in La Jolla, California. She immediately understood our vision and went above and beyond to make our wedding dream a reality. Jackquelyn is warm, friendly, and easy to work with. She was always quick to respond to texts, calls, and emails. She had smart and cost-effective advice and solutions. And since we were working with Jackquelyn from another state, she was always accommodating and available to work with our schedule and time zone. One of my favorite memories on our special day, was arriving at the venue to see that she had perfectly executed everything we had been planning. It was like walking into our dream. The entire event was perfect, and no detail was missed. We can’t thank her enough for making our wedding dream come true.
Jackquelyn at Josephine Events was the best investment for our wedding day! She made the whole process leading up to the wedding stress free, gave great advice and tips, and was extremely professional and organized. The day was perfect, everything we could have imagined and more. We are so thankful!
We worked with Jordan Petty through Josefina Events for our wedding recently, and couldn't be happier with the service that he provided. Initially, we only hired a "day of" coordinator because our venue required it, but in the end, we are SO GLAD that we did, since it made our wedding weekend so much more stress-free and simple. Jordan started having weekly video calls with us about six weeks before our wedding, and he was willing to make the meetings as short or as long as we wanted. He would always start by asking how we were doing with the planning process, or if we had any concerns. He gave us plenty of time to ask all of our random questions, but he also prompted us with his own questions, so we had lots of time to make informed decisions on every aspect of the planning process. On the day of the wedding, he was a calming voice and very on top of the event. He kept checking in with us to see how we were doing, and kept the wedding running smoothly and on time. He even brought us a plate of appetizers when we didn't have time to get them for ourselves. At the end of the night, our families were worried that they would be stuck with a lot of cleanup work, but Jordan and his team exceeded expectations, and made it an easy process. We would definitely recommend him and Josefina events for your upcoming wedding!
Before I get into my review of the wedding planning process with Josefina Events, there were two things about Jackquelyn that really made the process much easier for me: 1) she went above and beyond the call of duty. She was down on her hands and knees taking my shoes off after a long night of dancing. She knew I had hardly anything to eat in two days and brought a plate of food directly to me during hair and makeup. She stored my wedding décor in her own house for me. I don’t know if these are typical duties of a wedding planner, but I really appreciated feeling as if she went out of her way for me. And 2) she was extremely communicative and responsive. This was a big requirement for me when I was choosing a wedding planner and Jackquelyn was always there to answer any question I had – big or small – and the response time was always immediate, professional and courteous.
Also, before I get into my review…my husband and I had a small argument over the budget two weeks before the wedding. I was actually worried Jackquelyn was going to quit on us. Instead, she handled the situation professionally and with aplomb. I was really impressed by her response back to my husband…he ended up apologizing to her for overreacting! Her experience really shone through in this situation.
I found Josefina Events through a Google search of Palm Desert wedding planners. I met with several before picking Josefina Events, largely because I loved their creative ideas. Right off the bat, Jackquelyn was patient, professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to be very much involved in every step of the process and not once did Jackquelyn get annoyed or frustrated with me. And I’m sure if you want her to handle the whole wedding on her own, she’d be okay with that too!
Josefina Events also has a wonderful selection of vendors. I had guests tell me they had never seen a wedding like ours (everything from the flatware to the dining tables was unique) and that was in large part due to the vendors Jackquelyn recommended. In addition, once she passed on the vendors’ websites to me, she took a backseat and let me run amok and stepped in when it came time for the administrative stuff. But we also collaborated together throughout the process as well, like with the décor, menus, disposables, etc. She brought in her expertise when she knew I needed it and took a step back when she knew I didn’t. Jackquelyn also recommended a fantastic photographer with whom I felt totally comfortable. Posing for photos can be so awkward, so it helps to have a photographer who makes you feel like a friend is taking your picture. I wish I had also listened to Jackquelyn when picking the florist. I went with one I had used in the past, but now wished I had gone with Jackquelyn’s recommendation. Like I said, I picked Josefina Events for their creative ideas and Jackquelyn did not disappoint. She had so many cute details and touches that put our wedding just a step above.
Our small wedding turned into four events across two days and Josefina Events was there every step of the way (Jackquelyn was also there for us weeks after our wedding when we ran into some unforeseen issues). Not everything will go accordingly to plan during the wedding planning process, but without Jackquelyn, I know it would have been stressful and difficult. Do yourself a favor and leave all that for Jackquelyn and pick Josefina Events to help plan your wedding!
Jackquelyn from Josefina events was our last month coordinator for our April Wedding. I had interviewed several other planners in the San Diego area and what drew me to Jackquelyn was her professionalism as well as a sense of confidence of what she offered as a coordinator. Hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding and ultimately, the whole wedding went off without a hitch! We had weekly talks and chatted constantly leading up to the wedding. She was always available via text or email. She helped us make decisions and reminded us of what else needed to be done before the big day. Additionally, she helped source additional vendors as we realized some additional needs/wants towards the end. My husband and I would highly recommend hiring Jackquelyn, you won’t regret it.
Choosing Jackquelyn as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Despite facing months of challenges with the management and communication of our venue, Jackquelyn stepped in and tackled the issues head-on, ensuring that everything was set and executed flawlessly on the big day. Her swift action and effective problem-solving skills were truly remarkable.
From the initial planning stages to the big day itself, Jackquelyn's attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for our well-being made the entire experience a dream. She consistently checked in to see how both myself and my now husband were doing, offering reassurance and guidance every step of the way. Her expert handling of the event let us focus on what mattered most to us rather than get bogged down by everything else.

Jackquelyn came to us recommended from our venue and she did not disappoint. We worked with her for about a year to plan the big day. From our first meeting to our last, she was prepared, professional, and easy to work with. She was always quick to respond to texts and emails and happy to hop on a call or zoom. Additionally, we met with her in person three times over the course of our year working together. She was always incredibly easy to talk to on the phone and we felt like all of our desires and concerns were being heard and understood in these conversations.
Our wedding was a destination wedding of about 200 people and Jackquelyn helped us tremendously by finding us a hotel that suited our needs and then working with the hotel to secure a room block at a reasonable rate. She suggested a few vendors for each service we wanted and helped us choose which of the recommended vendors best fit our priorities and budget. Once we chose each vendor, she helped us contract with them quickly. Each vendor she recommended outperformed our expectations.
On the day of the wedding, Jackquelyn took charge and had everything under control. She worked tirelessly to make sure our vision became a reality. and even made a few last minute requests happen. The wedding was structured and flowed seamlessly. Because of Jackquelyn’s hard work and competency, my husband and I were able to stay calm and relaxed and truly enjoy our wedding.
All in all, Jackquelyn advocated for us, recommended a dream team of vendors, calmed our anxieties, and delivered a spectacular wedding. She made our wedding dreams a reality and we had the best night of our lives. Our guests agree, we've been told it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would not only recommend Jackquelyn to friends and family for events, but we would absolutely turn back to her for any events in the future!
Jackie and her team were amazing and so was my Nigerian wedding! We had some caterers and a dance group show up literally 3 hours late, BUT none of our guests could tell because Jackie and her team were able to shift around the schedules of our DJ and other caterers that we had. It could have been a disaster, but it ended up being spectacular!
WOW! My husband and I cannot praise Josefina Events enough! Jackquelyn was fantastic from start to finish and made not only our wedding day but our planning process a complete breeze. I am a very type-a personality and Jackquelyn was there every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns I had about the structure, flow, or organization of our big day.
Jackquelyn was always fast to respond and made me and my husband feel like a priority no matter how busy she may have been. On the day of our wedding, I managed to have fun and relax knowing she was there to guide us through the entire night!

What can we say about Josefina Events except they were the best wedding planners we could ever ask for. Not only did we have a wedding during covid restrictions, but we also did not have a traditional wedding with 3 different events on different dates across 2 calendar years. We wanted to ensure we had the right chemistry with our event/wedding planner. Jackquelyn and her team have been patient and helpful since we had specific design/criteria for each event. We had a specific budget we were looking to stick to and Jackquelyn worked with the vendors to ensure we were presented every option feasible for our budget. Jackquelyn went above and beyond for us when dealing with the various vendors and venues; especially when we had to ask for a full refund when the owner of a venue was trying to scam us. Their knowledge of the area was instrumental in ensuring we had the vendors that best fit our ask and event vision.
We can't thank Jackquelyn enough for everything she's done for us to pull off our 3 events. So easy to work with and get a hold of. We were able to enjoy each event without the stress that comes with getting married.

Jackquelyn @ Josefina Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! As an Event Producer myself, there were very high expectations for my and my husband’s wedding weekend in Palm Springs. She not only helped to pull together all the moving pieces flawlessly, and in a quick timeline, but she did so with great compliment from guests and vendors alike who loved having her on-site. We could not have made a better decision to make it all flow so perfectly. I can't say enough about how amazing Jackquelyn is. We are forever grateful for helping us have the perfect wedding. She is well known by the Palm Springs/Palm Desert venues and vendors so it was so easy to make the connection. She is truly a top tier professional with attention to detail and organization. Everything went according to plan and she executed our vision perfectly. I could always get a hold of her, she guided me through the process, gave me suggestions and most importantly, she made me feel comfortable. I never felt like she was pushing me to do/get something I didn't want. The day of my wedding, all I did was literally hand her a box of items (like my cards box, guest book, etc) and I did not have to do anything else except get dressed. Everything went smoothly and I did not have 1 complaint. Thank you Jackquelyn from the bottom of my heart you're the best!

Full review: When we found Josefina Events, our wedding was in a difficult spot. We were having two ceremonies, a native ceremony on Friday followed by a western wedding on Saturday, and we had lost our original planner. This made the whole process very complicated for us to manage. One month out from our date, we had all of our vendors booked (venue/food, DJ, photographers, etc.), but COVID was resurging, we faced shortages of flowers, and we were facing challenges left and right. We needed a superhero to help us get our wedding rolling, and we found her! From our first call with Jackquelyn, we knew that we were in good hands. Jackquelyn took the reins and helped us stitch together all of our vendors into a unit, plan our day carefully, and take care of all the little details that make the experience special for our guests (signage, heel stoppers, you name it). She connected us with great rental and floral vendors, and she even went to scope out the venue in advance to make sure our table layout would work properly. She managed vendors and guests across multiple cultures with great respect. Even more, Jackquelyn helped keep the day running smoothly. Anytime a vendor asked us for something, we’d just point them to Jackquelyn, who would handle it with consummate professionalism despite the dual ceremonies, multiple venues, and compressed timelines. Perhaps the biggest vote of confidence is that our family hired her to plan my brother’s wedding which will take place in a few months. Thank you so much!
After catching him in a series of lies, the coordinator I had hired quit six days before my son's 200 guest wedding! Fortunately I had done all the planning and contracting myself so I tapped every source I could think of to find a last minute "day of" coordinator. I was blessed to find Jackquelyn and she calmly took over five days before the wedding! She reviewed all the contract, contacted the vendors, reviewed all my plans, etc. She was out of town so this was down remotely and we never met until the morning of the wedding, however her calmness and organizational skills put me at ease during what could have been a horribly intense week. The wedding went off without a hitch and no one was the wiser. I cannot imagine what Jackquelyn could do with more that five days to prepare!!
My husband and I hired Josefina Events for an intimate backyard dinner with our family and friends. We got married at the courthouse, but still wanted to celebrate our marriage. It was the perfect night celebrating with our family and friends. Jackquelyn did a great job handling everything. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She was on top of everything from the start! It was exactly how we wanted it and so much more! Thank you Jackquelyn for everything!!
We are so grateful to have found Laura from Josefina Wedding & Events to work with as a planner for our wedding. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our wedding until next year due to COVID-19 and Laura has been so wonderful and accommodating. We have already been working with her for almost a year and she is always so responsive and provides us with so much useful information. She is so experienced and has so many great connections within the Coachella valley. We are confident that when our wedding arrives, we will not have to worry about anything because we have Laura as our planner. Laura and her fantastic team (including Dana, Bryce, and others) designed and produced our wedding and they could not have done a more spectacular job! My husband and I recommend them wholeheartedly to plan your wedding and/or special event.
When we met Laura (Josefina Events Founder and CEO), it was immediately clear that she is brilliant, engaging, and kind. She exudes creativity, vision, and the energy it takes to accomplish any dream you might have. It didn't take more than a couple of conversations and review of her outstanding work to realize that she and her team were the wedding producers of our dreams! We never regretted the decision for an instant.
Peter and I could not have made a better decision. At every turn, Laura and her team made the process fun, rewarding, and relaxing. She took the inspiration we gave her and turned it into an incredibly luxurious, beautiful, and fun weekend that was a joy for us and all of our guests! Throughout the process, the Josefina Events team introduced us to an A-list group of vendors who made the event planning a breeze. She and her team turned our inspiration into a reality that FAR exceeded expectations, and we truly had the wedding weekend of our dreams! She also respected our budget throughout the process, which was so appreciated. Most importantly, Laura and her team became valued friends throughout the process. For example, she and her team found creative and beautiful ways to honor the spirit of my late mother throughout the wedding weekend. We truly connected and she understood how much my mom means to be, and that was reflected in such moving and tasteful ways at our wedding.
Josefina Events is the BEST wedding design and production team in Coachella Valley (and quite frankly, anywhere!). We can't recommend them highly enough to plan and produce your special day!
Dana was a god send on our wedding day! I opted for the month of wedding planning option since I was taking care of a lot of the pre-planning logistics myself, but really needed someone who could take over and handle all vendor comms, timeline planning and day of coordination and I am SO GLAD I did! Dana jumped on board about a month out from our wedding, we handled mostly everything over email and it was so easy because she was so organized and detail oriented. She and Kristin made our wedding day seamless and stress free, even when our flower delivery person was late, they kept things calm and more importantly made me feel like they were on top of it and had it handled. Both Dana and Kristin were true professionals and helped with every detail the day of our wedding, even helping to manage my crazy foreign family. We could not have been more happy with the service we got and I would highly recommend the Josefina team to any future bride.
Hiring Josefina was the best wedding decision I made. My husband and I wanted to get married at a house, so the wedding was very DIY. Three months before our wedding, we hadn't done much and were struggling to find time to research and vet the vendors we'd need (eg. table/chair rentals, bathroom rentals, caterers, DJs, buses to take guests to/from the venue and on and on). We were VERY stressed. I found Josefina online and their reviews were perfect, so I scheduled a time to speak with Laura and I immediately felt relieved. She talked me through the different options and it was clear because of the time frame and the DIY nature of the wedding we'd need full-service planning. And I'm so happy we did it! Jackquelyn did the most amazing job. She walked us through every decision, clearly explained the pros and cons of each option, and made recommendations (which were all spot on). She set a realistic budget from the outset, was very clear about invoicing and budgeting, and helped us stay within our budget. She was there on day-of to coordinate all the vendors and it took all the stress out of the day. I was so pleased with all the vendors! The flowers were so beautiful, the DJ was a hit, the food was delicious and the photographer/videographers were great! She made sure everyone was where they should be when they needed to be and that all the preparations went smoothly. The wedding decor was so much better than what I could have imagined/planned myself (I'm a lawyer, and have no artistic sensibility). I'm immensely thankful to Jackquelyn and Laura who guided us through the process, made it all seem easy and created the most incredible day for us. I cannot recommend Jackquelyn and Laura and their whole team highly enough!!
We hired Jacquelyn at Josefina events as our month of coordinator. We got married at the San Diego Botanic Gardens and worked with multiple vendors. Jacquelyn worked with each vendor promptly and with ease. She was a joy to work with the day of and we would for sure recommend her!
I worked with Dana with Josefina Events to plan my wedding. I booked the "day-of" package, which really means that Dana is available to me 24/7 up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding date to fine tune all details. I could not be more thankful to Dana for all her work.
I planned a Pakistani destination wedding in San Diego. Dana was AWESOME. This was her first time coordinating a Pakistani wedding, but she was exceptional at making all my wedding visions come to reality.
4 weeks prior to my wedding, I had a family emergency, and was unsure until about 14 days prior to the wedding date if things would resume as planned. Dana was so reliable. While I spent my days and nights in the hospital visiting with family, she was my voice to all my vendors.
The day of the wedding, Dana came with a team of 3 to make sure that the wedding ran on schedule, and all my visions were realized. She was awesome. (by the way, the wedding ran AHEAD of schedule...which is unbelievable considering I had 200 guests.)
She was patient with all my family members pulling her in all directions. She made sure my husband and I enjoyed our wedding. Thanks to her, I was so relaxed on my own wedding day!
From day one, Dana was great to us. When we did the venue walk-through she helped us paint a picture of where everything would go. She coordinated the tasting, which was a very sweet and memorable experience. From those early stages where we are figuring out so many big decisions, she was always there for us and so supportive, always having helpful recommendations, but never being pushy.
The wonderful recommendations for vendors from Dana were perfect and I can’t imagine anything better that our A-team (Whimsey Florals, Holly Ireland Photography, Blush & Adore and DJ Preston). She was incredible in confirming every detail with the vendors, making it so easy for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Dana managed the rehearsal perfectly, and helped us all through that process and it made for a perfect day-of. We all felt very prepared going into the wedding day.
A big part of this process was that we were planning this wedding from the east coast, and we honestly cannot imagine how we would have been able to pull this off without Dana. She made the whole process so easy and fun - whenever we communicated with her, we always ended up feeling much more at ease.
Dana was an excellent communicator, and effortlessly juggled so many moving parts (and fielded dozens of emails from me) always being prompt in her response.
Dana executed the day-of perfectly, from all the specific logistical details to the big elements of the wedding. It was extremely challenging because it rained on our wedding day, and our wedding was supposed to be outside. Dana helped us through the adjustments and when we had to relocate our ceremony inside, she pulled off a beautiful setting for us - we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. The execution of the timeline was flawless and her management of the onsite deliveries and setup was great.
Every single step of the way, Dana was there for us. She is clearly an extraordinary wedding planner, and truly has a gift. Dana was able to instill confidence in us every step of the way, and we always felt like no matter what, she had everything under control. It’s obvious that Dana is second-to-none in her profession, but beyond that she is a kind, funny, thoughtful person who truly cared about making sure we had the best day. We really bonded with Dana, and it made a difference to have someone managing our wedding day that genuinely cared about us. It was a true pleasure having Dana be a part of our special day, and she has our highest recommendation!
The whole planning process and our wedding day was a dream come true thanks to Laura and the Josefina Events crew. This team genuinely cares about their clients and takes care to learn your vibe to execute YOUR vision as you’ve been dreaming of. We were able to work off of their thoughtfully curated list of wonderful, talented vendors to pull our wedding day together. Laura is a problem solver, and works to navigate speed bumps leading up to, or on the day of. She will support you through and through with great advice, emotional support, planning strategy and is just a great person to bounce ideas off of as she’s so passionate and respectful of your wishes. She is at least in step, if not two steps ahead of you already on any concerns or ideas you may be sitting on (There were multiple “I was thinking about that too, and my thought is...” during planning). We had no worries at all during our wedding day as we knew we were in great hands. This team works hard to stay within your planned budget and so is very creative and resourceful in achieving that to help keep you sane. Laura is your champion; you want her in your corner. My only regret is that we have not achieved cloning, so there’s just one of her… but thankfully the entire team is wonderful as well!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Laura and her team in planning my daughter Katie and her fiancée David's wedding. Laura was very accommodating and was always a step ahead of us. Laura and her team were easy to work with and the end result was a beautiful wedding that went flawlessly. I have to say, all we had to do was show up and the rest was under controll by Laura and her team because as the parents you want to enjoy this special event not have to worry about the details. I originally had met with a few other planners who I just didn’t click with, and I was getting a bit panicked. Then I found Laura and I knew I had found the right person! I felt a kindred spirit in Laura - super buttoned up but so warm and friendly. Even if you only are using someone for the Day Of package, you will be spending so much time in communication with your planner and you just want to make sure they “get you” and your individual needs. Laura got me and had my back every step of the way. She gave me advice on everything from party rentals to tipping etiquette and everything in between. But here is how she is unique. She listens. She has so much good information and advice, but she has not forgotten that this is your day. She will listen to your individual wishes and desires and help you make them a reality. Laura was my sounding board and champion. I liked how upfront she was about what each package offered, and she helped customize a package to meet my needs. Besides managing all the to-do’s like creating my timeline and coordinating my vendor deliveries/pickups, she and her team went the extra mile in so many ways… and she was always so positive and fun to be with. I am so amazingly grateful that I found Laura, Dana, Ashley, and the entire Josefina Events team! Xoxo
Dana made our wedding day absolutely perfect. I planned most of our wedding, and we hired her for the month leading up to the event, and it was the best choice! I live up in Northern CA, so Dana and I spoke on the phone, and I could tell she was the right fit just from our conversation. I met her and Jackquelyn for the first time at our month-prior walkthrough, and they immediately jumped into all the details. Dana and Jackquelyn lent their expertise to the overall layout, table settings, day-of timeline, and other key details, keeping my vision in mind throughout.
I was out of town on a work trip the weekend before our wedding, and there were a lot of situations that came up last minute that needed to be resolved with other vendors, and Dana stepped in and handled everything seamlessly, and I was so grateful!
Not only did Dana and Jackquelyn handle the vendor communication and coordination, but they also brought my vision to life. I spent months creating my decorations and envisioning how it would all come together, and Dana and Jackquelyn executed it even better than I had imagined. I’m very particular person and I wanted things a certain way, but I had so much confidence in Dana and Jackquelyn that I let them take the reigns on some of the setup, like our sweetheart table, and it turned out gorgeous!
On our wedding day, I was able to relax and didn’t worry about a single thing thanks to Dana and Jackquelyn. They handled EVERYTHING, from coordinating vendor arrival, setup and teardown, to setting up all the decorations, working with the catering team, and ensuring everything was PERFECT until the very end of the evening.
I can't thank Dana and Jackquelyn enough for making our wedding day magical. It was truly the best day of our lives, and Dana and Jackquelyn with Josefina Events made that possible.
Dana was so great to work with both the day of our wedding and the months before. The day of our wedding we did not have to worry about anything, it was truly stress-free thanks to Dana. She made sure everything went smoothly throughout the day from ensuring we took the time to eat to making sure all of our personal items were put away at the end of the night.
This review is specifically for Jackquelyn Dinh who is now a member of Josefina Events. Jackquelyn was our day of wedding coordinator and she executed everything flawlessly, from lining up our bridal party to walk down the aisle, transporting and setting up decorations, to greeting guests... The list is endless. There probably is more that she did for us that day that we'll never know about. But, what I am certain about is that, if it were not for Jackquelyn working behind the scenes, we would not have been able to execute a successful 150 guest wedding. She was always prompt, dependable and friendly. I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done. Without her, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day as much as we did. To say Josefina Events is the absolute best would be an understatement. Working with the ladies of Josefina Events to make my wedding the day of my dreams was truly a blessing. Jackquelyn made everything about the planning and execution of our wedding as easy and seamless as possible. From the very start, I was given a list of reputable vendors to cover every aspect of my wedding--from flowers to an awesome DJ. I had a last minute cancellation with my original flower vendor and Jackquelyn was able to quickly find me a new florist who fulfilled every aspect of my vision for my wedding florals.
I also appreciated how Jackquelyn kept in frequent contact with all of my vendors from the day of booking to the day of the wedding. Everything was expertly coordinated so that vendors were arriving in a timely manner, with no detail lacking.
On the day of our wedding, Jackquelyn put my mind at ease by managing all vendor deliveries while also coordinating the set-up and breakdown of all of our reception decor. Not only did she set-up all the decor so that the reception was dreamy and elegant but Josefina Events also contributed numerous pieces to the decor as well. They created a personalized corn hole set-up, welcome sign, backdrop for our sweetheart table, beverage sign, and a few other signs to add a special touch to our wedding decor.
Jackquelyn also perfectly executed our timeline so that each special moment was happening in a timely fashion to keep our wedding guests thoroughly engaged. I loved how she paid special attention to what we wanted to include in our reception so that the timeline created was exactly what we had envisioned.

My daughter chose Josefina Events to be her ”day- of wedding coordinator”, and we could not have been more pleased, and beyond impressed by the experience last weekend. Dana became very involved a little over a month prior to the wedding, and exceeded all our expectations. Our daughter is very detail-oriented and had a vision she had worked on for 10 months. Dana understood completely what was needed to make her day what she had dreamed of, and overcame every hurdle for us. She and Jackquelyn were there for the rehearsal, handled all decorations and staging, and had all vendors organized. From the moment they arrived on the wedding day to the very end of the evening, their calm demanor and thoughtful actions and hard work took all the stress off of our families and the bride, and allowed us to have an amazing, fun, worry-free, magical wedding and reception. They seemed to be everywhere at once, handling anything that came up, but always calmly and discreetly. I can’t say enough about these two capable, caring women.
I hired Dana Blancaflor from Josefina Events as my wedding coordinator and could not be happier!!! She took care of everything leaving nothing unhandled. I could not imagine how much more stress I would have had to deal with if she was not around. I consider myself a control freak with a million questions. Dana had the same questions that I had and some which I did not think about. She was in contact with all my vendors prior to the wedding. She organized the wedding rehearsal so everyone in the wedding party and parents understood where to go and stand on the big day. She even contacted the vendors to see what other options I had for a mistake on my part. Dana listen to everything I wanted, even making suggestions that would make things even better. She took care of so much I feel like she goes above and beyond to make your day special and as hassle free as possible. Dana responded to all my phone calls and questions in a timely manner. She was so sweet and caring like if it was her on wedding. I am not one to write reviews but felt like she was a blessing to have and hope you pick her when looking for a coordinator you will not regret it. Trust me I have heard some horrible stories from other brides. Dana treats your wedding like it was her own. With Dana as my coordinator I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding without worry.
We are so happy to have hired Dana and Josefina Events for our wedding day. Our venue required us to use multiple vendors and rentals, and when it became apparent that we did not want to be the contact person the "day of," we immediately began looking for a wedding planner. Upon meeting, Dana was so warm, caring, professional, and thorough, we hired her immediately for "The Month of Planning" with confidence. All I had to do was fill out a spreadsheet of who I hired, and forward my contracts, she took care of the rest. As the month approached, I was pleasantly surprised when I reached out to her to check in, and she responded that she had already connected and confirmed with all of our wedding vendors! From that huge sigh of relief onward, our wedding planning process was a breeze. Dana was accessible, responsive, and creative in every question or concern we threw at her. We did not have to think or stress about anything...Dana created a timeline for us to follow, and confirmed with all the vendors, making changes if necessary. And the day of...it was magic! She was onsite to manage all vendor deliveries and setup, and setting the stage for the most beautiful and personal wedding, having her on our side was such a relief so we were able to enjoy our day. We did not have to think of anything. From gently reminding us where we needed to be and when, to the small details, like moving items to the reception site, and placing our florals, no detail was ignored. I remember at the end of the night being so thankful to Dana and her team, for all the behind the scenes work to make our wedding day the most memorable and enjoyable day. She works so hard, so that the wedding couple can enjoy their celebration and fruits of their planning and preparation. We would not have been able pull off such a beautiful wedding had it not been for Dana and Josefina events. We highly recommend them to everyone planning a wedding or event!
The thought of having to plan a wedding while attending my last year of graduate school was an immediate stressor! Being in San Diego we looked into some venues in Mexico and everything was just falling through. We had even considered postponing the wedding or eloping considering that he was starting graduate school as well and we just started to get discouraged. Luckily for me, I found Josefina Events! After one call with Laura, I immediately felt at ease and knew that with their help we could make it happen! My husband and I decided to go with the Meet me Halfway Package since we knew we were going to need a lot of direction. We also asked if they could assist us in finding a venue since we were both of steam.
Dana immediately took the reigns and started our venue search and it's all history from there! Dana helped us find our perfect venue and also kept us in line with our budget. The planning process was beginning to become more enjoyable and stress-free. She assisted us with all the vendors and revised contracts. Communication between us was outstanding! We met several times throughout the process as well to make sure we were all on the same page and to follow up with any questions that we might have had. A month before the wedding she took over all contact with vendors and I was able to really just enjoy my bachelorette party and the pre-wedding pampering.
The day of she made sure all vendors were on time and kept our timeline on point! Our wedding was truly everything we had wished for and more! Dana and Laura definitely came through and made our wedding the best it could have possibly been. From setup to breakdown everything worked out perfectly. I know that we would have never been able to pull that off and stay on budget! Dana made the whole process so much fun and her passion for this work really stands out through her actions and commitment to her brides.
We will never ever be able to thank you ladies enough for all of your hard work!!

There is no way we could have pulled off such an amazing wedding day without Dana and the team at Josefine Events. Dana was on top of EVERYTHING! We were so worried leading up to the big day that it wasn't going to come together. 30 days out Dana contacted all our vendors and started making sure everyone was briefed on how we wanted the day to go. I don't even know where to begin with writing this review... My husband and I felt so blessed to have found Dana with Josefina Events to coordinate our specail day.
We believe that the wedding wouldn't have turned out as amazing as it did without her. She was so easy to work with and really made all my visions come to life on our wedding day. Everything from the church ceremony to the end of the reception was so well organzied and put together. Dana really went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to contacting her before the wedding. The last couple of weeks is about the most nerve wracking and she was always there by my side having my back with anything that came to mind. Dana also worked very well with all our vendors for the wedding and took total charge of the wedding day which I can't even begin to explain how thankful i was for that. Everyone was so relaxed the day of the wedding.
One memorable thing she did for my husband and I was at the end of the night when we got back to our room she had our florist and the hotel staff set up a romantic setting fo us.
All in all we highly reccomend hiring Josefina Events for any event you have coming up. They really know what they're doing.
