Josie is the absolute best. My husband and I were trying to find a photographer who would fit our laid back style for our wedding and we were stoked when we found Josie. We had a local wedding in our hometown with every phase of the event hosted at a different venue in town. Josie was down for the challenge and captured our day beautifully. She didn't even complain when the 3 of us got stranded 5 blocks from our last venue and had to hoof it together. Would recommend Josie again and again and again.

A friend recommended Josie when we were looking for wedding photographers and it was one of the best decisions we made! We couldn’t be more grateful to have had Josie capture our wedding day. She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and delivered us amazing photos. Her candid style captured some of the most fun moments of our wedding and we truly love looking back at our photos

I just got my wedding photos back and I am in love with how they turned out. She was such a perfect fit for our destination wedding in rural Mexico—her style totally matched the vibe I was going for and worked so well with our design-forward venue. She was super responsive leading up to the day and followed my shot list exactly, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing we wouldn’t miss any of the most important shots in the whirlwind of the day. She had such a friendly, laid-back energy that made everything feel easy and fun. And honestly, after we finished the portraits, I barely noticed she was there—she wasn’t in anyone’s way, just quietly doing her thing. Couldn’t recommend her more!

I somehow stumbled upon Josie's Instagram handle almost a decade ago, and I remember being so blown away by her photos that it made me want to pick up a camera. I never became as good as her, but when I finally found my special someone, there was only one person in mind that I knew I had to photograph our wedding. You know that feeling you get when you know the person you are staring at is the person you have been searching for. You know, that timeless moment that makes you believe for just a single second that a second can last for all of time. Then, poof, that moment is gone, and you wish you had captured it in something tangible. Josie is the type of photographer who gets that feeling and knows how to capture it. If you book her for your engagement photos, wedding party, or wedding day, you can't get anyone better. You won't want anyone better. She captures the divine fleeting moments better than anyone else. She gives you the gift of living in forever with the ones you love. I could go on about how great a communicator she is and how charming and personable she is, but if you have read this review this far, you will know that she clearly has all of those skills, too. Book her; you won't regret it, my friend. Oh, and one last thing. She is the only vendor I wrote a review for, so she is really that good.

Josie was so warm, fun, and professional. She photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we are so grateful she was a part of our big day! Josie made us feel relaxed during all our photos and everyone in our wedding party enjoyed working with her as well. We loved all of our photos and can’t say enough good things about her!

Josie is professional, open to experiment with various locations and styles, and honored our wedding weekend vision. She is great at communicating leading up to the event and throughout the event, we would not have considered any other photographer. Josie is a dear friend of ours and is extremely talented. She is also willing to travel anywhere, which is amazing. Every day, I take a few minutes to look through our wedding photos and reminisce about the most perfect day - which was perfectly captured by Josie!
From her remarkable talents behind the lens to her incredibly thoughtful instinct for framing shots, we have nearly a thousand photos that - through what I can only assume is magic - capture the love, euphoria, and intimacy of our special day.
Josie put so much effort and care into identifying areas to shoot photos - from family portraits in the garden, to our couple shots at golden hour. She even took the time to take photos of our flower arrangements, wedding bands, the dinner tables with customized menus - everything! Plus - we just loved hanging with Josie! She fit right in with our friends and family and made everyone feel at ease.
Josie was also super easy to communicate with in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding. We went into our big day with a clear plan that she executed perfectly.
The fact that we get to enjoy these photos for the rest of our lives brings a smile to my face every time I think about it.

Josie is an exceptionally talented photographer. She is skilled at taking and has an eye for both posed and candid photos, making each look absolutely natural. My husband and I could not be more pleased with our wedding photos.
Your photographer is also the person you're going to spend the most time with at the wedding, so pick someone you like.... And you will LOVE Josie! She is kind, flexible, joyful, beautiful, personable, and has an infectious sense of humor!
She also edited and returned our pictures much quicker than I anticipated, which was an added bonus because I was so antsy to see our photos!
My husband and I truly could not have been happier with our choice in a photographer. Go with Josie if you want the perfect wedding photos for the right price!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Josie. We flew her to Jackson Hole to photograph our wedding weekend and it was truly a blast to have her there. The photos are unbelievably beautiful and she did such a great job making us feel comfortable and confident. She fit in like a guest, was beyond professional and is so easy and fun to work with. We had our sneak preview super quick and photos within the promised time. We have so many amazing photos, we can’t even decide what to print. Josie is the absolute BEST!
