switch providers. When we initially requested an itemized contract, we were not provided one until we informed the company that we wanted to cancel. At that point, we were also told that we would not receive any refund. Instead, we were issued a gift card for prints. Unfortunately, the issues continued when we went to pick up the prints, as they were not what we had requested. We had specifically asked for them to be framed and mounted, only to later be told that this service is no longer offered. This was misleading information that should have been clearly communicated upfront. Overall, communication with this company was frustrating and inconsistent. It was very difficult to get a clear, straightforward answer from anyone, which made the entire experience unnecessarily stressful.

olutely above and beyond to get Every. Single. Shot. We got about 100 pictures from Dan 2 days after our wedding & 20 more the day after! They did a great job of taking candid and posed photos and getting group shots as well. Every shot was more beautiful than the next. Even at the end of the night, Dan & Carlos were lying on the floor to get the perfect shot. They were kind, timely and made us feel great on the best ever!

mbers who were also on photo and video. Brian was funny, made everyone feel comfortable and special in all the photos. Brian and the entire company were always super open with communication and they made the entire day and evening super special. Capturing every moment on that dance floor, during our ceremony and every moment in between.

was seamless and I already have recommended JoVon to numerous people. The pictures were delivered earlier than expected and I cannot wait to make my wedding album! Look no further!!

oes not deliver.  I explicitly told the photographers in advance what I wanted in terms of style and backdrop for a wedding venue that Jovon claimed they are well familiar with.  We had multiple verbal meetings with the photographers in advance.  Most of the photographs, especially by the fountain, do not capture the full backdrop like we asked but cuts off part of the fountain.  Another example includes completely missing the backdrop of the bridge in the photographs from the back of the venue, and instead captures a random tree.  Orientation of photographs were not taken properly.  Our wedding albums (that we also spent an additional $2,000+ on) are riddled with mistakes as the basic photo editing that we were promised was not performed.  See some examples in the attached photos with basic flyaway hairs not removed and weird blotches on necks or suits appearing that were not there in real life.  The photographers the day of the wedding would not wait the 10 seconds like I asked for the wind to stop blowing before taking a photograph.  We were told once the album layout was approved (which took multiple tries because he completely ignored what was stated in the meeting), then the photograph edits were performed and the flyaway hairs would be removed. It is clear no edits were performed whatsoever.  I pointed out some of these mistakes when we got the photographs back initially and was told in writing that once the photographs are selected for the album then additional edits are made before printing.  Our videographer missed the mark. She did not capture the groom processing down the aisle with his parents, my full processional song (which I stated was tribute to my late father), the full first reading and homily are missing, etc to name a few examples of key moments of our wedding ceremony not being captured like we required in advance.  All of which was agreed to before we signed an expensive contract with Jovon.  We are extremely disappointed and I am currently contemplating filing a lawsuit—that is how bad their performance was.

vid and his team (Pat, Dylan , sorry if I’m forgetting any names , some of the day is a blur lol), were funny, personable , creative , professional and they made having my picture taken feel easy and natural even though it’s not something I typically enjoy.  I truly admire their artistry. I have never considered myself ‘photogenic’ but David helped me to look model-like in some of our photographs. I can’t wait to get all the pictures back so I can hang photos of my husband and I up in our home. The pictures I have seen so far are beautiful and cinematic. If I ever need a professional photographer in the future I will 100% use David again.

pletely comfortable and confident that our wedding day would be captured perfectly — and they absolutely delivered. Carlos was unbelievable with his video work — the creativity, the drone shots, the attention to detail… everything was insane! Dan made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish, constantly checking in to ensure every shot was perfect and that we were happy. Together, they worked seamlessly and made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. Carlos, Dan, and their assistants were so warm, friendly, and fun — and you could tell they genuinely cared so much. They weren’t just vendors; they felt like friends celebrating with us. Their energy was contagious, and they made everyone around them feel comfortable and excited to be part of the day. We are so excited to see our photos and video, because we know they captured the day exactly how it felt — full of love, laughter, and joy. They didn’t just document our wedding; they told our story in the most magical way. We are beyond grateful for Carlos, Dan, and their amazing team for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever. If you want a team that’s insanely talented, passionate, and truly cares about making your day perfect, this is the one.

ured that he has a vision. David made me Look like I could never imagine myself to look. When I first met my fiancé, I was not a person who liked having my picture taken. At the start of my engagement shoot I was very emotional because I was in such disbelief that it was actually happening. But the moment I stepped out of the car and meant David, he is such a fun, bright, and encouraging light. David’s true passion is capturing the imaginable moments. David will get in a bush, forge a stream, engineer a boat, and break his back just for the shot. He is a true visionary, and his work speaks for itself. David is one of those people that will leave a job in very capable hands just in the interest of the couple waking up in the morning to beautiful shots. We had a church ceremony and were doing private vows at home on our couch and my phone dings with sneak peaks from David. My husband asked me if it was his very sentimental vows that made me cry and I had to tell him well yes but also look what David just sent me.He is a true beam of light of creativity and I cannot wait to see our full album. Ethan, Ethan, Ethan. You, my good man, are a gem. I first met you at the church as I stepped out of the limo and the first time that I saw you in a newsies hat, I knew that you were the sweetest, most genuine guy. From the review of the groom side, you were so kind, accommodating, and funny. From what I can gather you made the morning so easy and seamless, and caught angles and candid shots that we will all cherish forever. I remember stepping out of the limo and making eye contact with you and just being so happy because I picked up on your energy. I said to you in the church, I’m sorry I’m giving you some weird faces, and you said to me, that’s what I’m here for. I’m the candid guy. The energy that I felt when I met you translated throughout my very emotional ceremony in a very beautiful way. I would have some very serious moments right after communion and then lock eyes with Ethan‘s lens and have a very much needed comedic relief. It is a beautiful experience when you get to work with people and create memories with the most genuine hearts. The entire team of Jovon down to our videographer and assistants was unmatched and unparalleled. After we were officially married, I completely turned my brain off, and the team still made the rest of the day happen somehow. Because of some timeline delays, I had to send the limo to the venue, and the team assured me that they will get me where I needed to go. I stuffed me and my big dress into the back of David’s car and we had a wild ride to the next shooting location and then to the venue. David Made sure that I drink water and was calm and even gave me the camera to scroll through the amazing shots he had already taken. I got into the bridal suite, and David gave me my time with my husband, allowed me to eat, and prioritized my peace. The entire team made sure that the entire day was not a photo shoot and I was still able to be present. Even my priest, complemented the team on their discretion during our very catholic mass. I can’t wait to have more excuses to use the team again for family portraits. You all exceeded my expectations and there isn’t enough money in the world to compensate you.

He’s the bestttt

autifully and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a talented photographer who goes above and beyond!

ve a lifetime of memories from our wedding day that would not be possible without the JoVon team!

f the day and that everything would go smoothly. He made our day so enjoyable and now we have the most beautiful photos

Main photographer was Cesar and his assistant Jessica. From our engagement shoot they were amazing we could not wait until our wedding day. We got married on June 15 and had the pleasure of working with a great team. Our videographer Pat was so funny he had us laughing throughout the day even when things got chaotic. Cesar was great at directing everyone and made sure to get every family photo. He made everything easy and wanted all of us to have fun. Even through all the dancing he made sure to be everywhere and get the perfect shot. We received our sneak peaks and we are blown away with his work and attention to detail. We even had the pleasure of having Jovon join us at our wedding and take amazing shots. We cannot wait to receive our full gallery!!! This is a GREAT time to work with!! 😍

portant day of our lives. From the moment they arrived, their team brought the perfect mix of professionalism, warmth, and energy that instantly put us at ease and set the tone for the day. Lina, Sonny, Carlos, Ray & Tristan—you are each amazing in your own right, and together you were a powerhouse. Your eye for detail, your creativity, and your ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera was beyond anything we could have hoped for. You didn’t just document the day, you captured the emotion, the joy, and the magic of every moment. We cannot wait to see the final product. Just from the teasers they sent we’re taken right back to the feelings of love, excitement, and celebration we felt on our wedding day. You helped us freeze those memories in time, and that is the most priceless gift we could have ever received. We are so grateful to have had such a passionate and talented team by our side. Thank you for going above and beyond, for being so attentive, and for making the entire experience not only seamless but truly enjoyable. JoVon, you are more than a photography and video company-you are storytellers, artists, and now a cherished part of our wedding journey. With endless appreciation and love, Evan & Meghan 6.14.25 💍

was fantastic to work with. They kept us smiling and laughing throughout the day. I am so excited to see all of the photos and the video! We booked Jovon because they were great for my brother's wedding last year - and we were so happy we did! We also did an engagement shoot in Montauk while vacationing there with Dan from Jovon (who is based out east) and he was also great. Our engagement shoot photos were amazing. Lisa in the office helped us book our day - and she was also great and super responsive to all my questions. Would recommend their entire team.

ism and lighthearted fun that made the entire day flow effortlessly. Not only did they capture the most beautiful moments, but they also made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free — exactly what every couple hopes for on their big day. Our entire bridal party was raving about how incredible they were- keeping everyone laughing, relaxed, and totally in the moment. It felt like having another friend with us, but one who happens to take insanely gorgeous photos! We can’t recommend Jovon Photography enough. We’ll be telling everyone we know to book them — you won’t regret it!

feel smooth, comfortable, and natural. You captured every meaningful moment with such care, talent, and attention to detail. From the big moments to the quiet, emotional ones, your team didn’t miss a thing. The photos are absolutely stunning and perfectly reflect the joy and love we felt that day. We’re truly grateful for your dedication and couldn’t have asked for a better team to preserve our memories.

nt they arrived, they made us feel comfortable, kept everything running smoothly, and captured the most beautiful moments of our day. We just received our sneak peek photos and they are stunning—better than we ever imagined! Sonny made sure to capture every single photo on our shot list and more. He has such an eye for detail and really brought our vision to life. Carlos was just as amazing—professional, warm, and so talented behind the camera. We can’t wait to see the video!

ce!

ole team did an amazing job. We were blown away by the preview photos and can't wait to see the rest!

moments were missed with no accountability. The photographer admitted she didn’t really review it but blamed us for the timeline. The video team missed a key reception moment, and we were told to wait two more months for edits. We caught basic errors that should’ve been caught internally. Every step—photo edits, albums, video corrections—required us to follow up repeatedly. No urgency, no quality control. We met in person to resolve things. Jovon made promises to expedite, then disappeared. No follow-up. Lisa, the admin, was inflexible and unhelpful in coordinating. The editing team was kind but inexperienced—we had to walk them through corrections on video calls they’d never done before. The only bright spot was Carlos, the lead videographer, who truly cared. Unfortunately, his efforts were overshadowed by the rest of the team’s carelessness. We did get our final products, but only because we spent hours managing the process ourselves. For the price and the emotional toll, this was incredibly disappointing. Choose another vendor for your big day.

for video and they really made us feel special and comfortable all day! We cannot thank the team enough! Jenna and Jon-Luc Monteforte

s fun but we ended the night feeling like we gained a bunch of new friends with them. Even before our big day David had us at ease, we knew after booking with them we were in good hands. David’s dedication to this art - laying down in the rain on wet pavement to get THAT shot, or having us climb on rocks to get breathtaking photos is something we will never forget! This man is a creative genius! Every single person on this team was unbelievable! Our videographers (Pat & Diana) kept us laughing and relaxed the whole day. They are the dream video team!!! You can count on Ethan to get the best shots and set you up for some incredible veil photos! Brian’s humor and candid shots are something EVERY couple wants on their wedding day! They each brought incredible energy to the day being our biggest hype people and captured breathtaking photos we will cherish forever. They all made our vision come to life! There’s not enough words to say how thankful we are we booked with Jovon. We cannot recommend Jovon enough! Seriously do not hesitate to book them for your big day you will NOT regret it!!!

k in and see how we were doing - incredibly thoughtful. On the wedding day, they thought of so many creative shots that I cannot wait to see. If the teasers were got after our wedding were this good, the photos/videos are going to be incredible. The team was kind, patient and understanding. Would highly recommend to anyone for a special event. Looking forward to working with this team again in the future!

ionalism and positive energy truly made our wedding day unforgettable. We are so grateful for their hard work and talent. Highly recommend!

n (photographer), Pat (videographer), and Diane (videographer assistant)—were simply unbelievable. They not only captured creative and stunning photos but also brought such great energy to the day, making it fun, relaxed, and completely stress-free. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful! We were thrilled when David sent us a ton of pictures just two days after our wedding—what a quick turnaround! If you’re considering booking JoVon, don’t hesitate—do it now. You won’t regret it!"

ly ended up being my favorite part of the entire day. He and his team made it effortless and fun to take hours upon hours of photos. The energy was lively, and the photos are true artistry. JoVon truly understands the importance of raw emotion and candid in photos, and I can't thank them enough for everything.

y pictures and were so much fun to work with! We couldn’t be happier with our photos!

old him what had happened. He went out of his way and offered to do a free engagement shoot for my fiancé and I which I did not expect and was extremely generous. Not only that but he did a full almost 2 hours and had us change outfits. I was blown away by his kindness and how much he went out of his way to make it up to us. His pictures came out amazing and we love every single one. I can’t recommend him enough!

you can find him hanging upside or dodging cars in busy traffic to get the perfect shot. He made our day so special, soo fun to work with as he has a rockstar personality, and gave us the gift of such beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Request Ethan, book Ethan, you are doing it all wrong if Ethan is not shooting your wedding. :)

d they had us laughing the whole time! We love you all and wish we could do it all over again it was such a fun time. They are amazing!

They were kind, upbeat and kept the entire bridal party laughing and smiling for the entire day. The sneak peak photos already look amazing and I can't wait to see how the rest turn out. We will absolutely be using them for many events to come!

can’t say enough amazing things about this team and this vendor. They will work with you and capture all the special moments!

ntire chuppah ceremony. They tried hide that they lost the footage and when we realized it was missing they didn't care. The owner, who I was working with, didn't call us - we had to call him. He wasn't apologetic and barely tried to fix the problem. He was very rude and argumentative. Despite the photography being great, I would not work with him. He does not actually care when things go wrong and does try to sneakily add money onto your bill.

azing! They knew our venue and how to get the most perfect photos without hesitation! They were perfectionist! We are so lucky to have used them and cannot wait to see the full end results! We highly recommend using them!! Thank you for making us remember our perfect night! Please use them!

it shows in the quality of his work.

apher and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I could not recommend him enough! He has the best the energy, sense of humor, and creative visions. We even FaceTimed with him at midnight the night before our wedding for a last minute pow wow. His whole team was amazing as well (Pat and Diana on video, Sonny and Dylan on photo with David). Pat is so funny too and he was the only one - not my maid of honor, party planner, nor bridal attendant - who was able to help me tie my dress! I cannot wait to see all the photos and videos they took.

ich built tremendous confidence, trust, and excitement for our wedding day. David is such a nice person, funny, and exactly what you want and need on your wedding day. He keeps the schedule to a T, and packs everything in so nothing is missed. His photography is unparalleled. My husband and I had the absolute best time ever on our wedding day, yes of course due to friends, family, venue, and duh, we just got married! But it would not have even been close to the same without David. Best money ever spent. So so so happy. I already can't wait to have all of our baby photos with him. <3 thank you David!!!

perfectly and were such a blast to work with—full of energy, laughter, and fun. A huge shoutout to JoVon himself, Carlos, Cesar, and the rest of the team! I’m beyond excited to see the final photos because I know they’re going to be stunning. If you’re looking for photographers and videographers who are hardworking, talented, and just amazing to be around, you should definitely hire JoVon for your wedding or special event. They truly made our day unforgettable!

nd care they put into my wedding photos. All of my family and friends noticed their dedication to helping capture my perfect day. We just got our teasers back from Cesar and I am in awe. His documentary style photography is absolutely stunning- he and Jess knew exactly how to let us have fun, be natural and provide tips. I cannot wait to receive Pat’s footage, he was incredible all day too! If you need a photo and video team, they absolutely did not disappoint!

exceptional talent for photography but also brings a fantastic personality that was a joy to have on our wedding day. From beginning to end, David and his team were flawless. The photos we received are stunning, and David's responsiveness and efficiency were outstanding. He even played the role of a day coordinator, making sure everything went perfectly. David truly made my wedding dreams come true with his incredible pictures of our special day at the Lanin!

rk and dedication were clear. They didn't miss a beat all day, making sure to capture every special moment perfectly. The lead photographer, David, was not only extremely talented at his job, but he was also incredibly personable and fun to work with. He made us feel comfortable and at ease, which really showed in the photos. His ability to capture genuine moments is truly impressive. What impressed us the most was the quality of the photos, and we were blown away by the final results. We especially loved how well the mirrored aisle and blue smoke bomb photos came out. Every photo sent to us was beautiful and really captured the essence of our special day. We are immensely grateful to the team at JoVon Photography for their exceptional work. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who is personable, fun, and extremely talented, look no further than David. Thank you, David, for your incredible work and for giving us photos that we will treasure for a lifetime!
