rk with! When we had our engagement shoot with her, we knew she was the perfect photographer for us! We had such a fun time and loved our photos! On the day of the wedding, she was accompanied by Chris & Nicole, who were also great to work with. Jaclyn, truly captured our personalities in our photos and we couldn’t have been happier!

I know a lot of photographers/videographers may try to boast similar experience, but the value proposition with JoVon is how they are able to couple that with creative elements I don't think you could find anywhere else. Also, they are SO GOOD at providing direction, which is very helpful when you're as stiff as me and my wife, haha. But the final product is some of the most breathtaking photos you'll ever see EVER (seriously, check them out on IG). Beyond that, the entire crew was so easy and fun to work with that they felt like family to us. David, Ashley, Balal, Ethan...really EVERYONE at Jovon will forever have a special place in our hearts because they were able to capture every moment so beautifully for us. I don't know what else I could say. I am not from Long Island, but I recognize that weddings here are often particularly extravagant. But even if you're not having a super expensive, very big wedding, Jovon has the ability to almost sensationalize your big day in a way that makes you feel like it was a million dollar wedding. Now what are you doing reading this still, check out their IG and call them.

o get "the" shot. He was our favorite wedding vendor to say the least. We had Pat as the main videographer and he was incredible as well, he is extremely detail-oriented and captures the "getting ready" portion of the wedding day so effortlessly. I would definitely recommend!!!

apply to JoVon as a whole - just our particular experience with our photographer. It should serve as a word of caution that the particular photographer you have on the day matters more than the company name behind them. We got married at DeSeversky Mansion at NYIT. We picked this venue because we absolutely fell in love with the mansion and the grounds and we were looking forward to the pictures we would have from this beautiful venue. Less than 24 hours before the event, the photographer from JoVon reached out to us and requested we change our timeline for the big day so we could get more time taking pictures at the venue itself. Every other vendor we worked with for the wedding was much more proactive in getting any last minute details sorted out. But, we complied with this request because we did want to spend as much time as possible at our venue. The next day, the photographer ran late taking pictures at the hotel and was adamant he get all these shots at the hotel that no one had even discussed or wanted. We were forced to take some gimmicky shots that did not even work out ultimately. As a result, the photographer made us leave the hotel well after our original departure time and late enough that we started taking pictures at the venue as guests were starting to arrive. It's a bad sign when the photographer is making the bride and her mom furious on her wedding day and ignores their requests to leave so he can get "one more shot over here." Once we got to the venue, we had been told previously that the photographer was very familiar with our particular venue and where to get the best shots. Ultimately, we got maybe two of the iconic shots we wanted at the venue. I do recognize that we did not give the photographer a set shot list. But, in our defense, we have never been married before and took the vendor's word that they knew the venue and how to best shoot it. We did not even get a picture of our two full families together. Again, I'm not an expert, but who has to request that a full family shot has to be specified at a wedding? Looking back on it, we do have a lot of pictures that we wish we had from the day that we will never be able to replicate. Not even exaggerating, our best pictures from the day are from friends and family taking pictures on their iPhones. Again, I truly believe our experience was an individual case but it was still the experience we had with this vendor. The photographer should never be the center of attention and be the cause of stress during the big day.

job! However, once we changed our date we no long had Jaclyn as she was not available, but were able to have David, which I was super happy about. I also had Jennie as David’s assistant who was amazing, Lenny who was the photographer for my husband when he was getting ready and for the remainder of the day. The photos were incredible and could not have asked for nicer, wonderful talented photographers. Throughout the whole day, we were able to the photos that were being taken right away, which we both really appreciated. We are in the process of creating our Thank You’s are continue to look forward to the amazing books we will be creating with the JoVon team. For videography, we had Carlos and Joe. Carlos was with me when I was getting ready and Joe was with my husband for when he was getting ready and they truly are so talented. Both made us feel so comfortable to work with.

look near the church (which we had to rebook two months before the wedding since the original one cancelled on us), as well as advice on where we could do hotel blocks for our reception next year. My husband (!) and I aren't very good with photos but he made us feel so comfortable during the freezing cold, and we were laughing the entire time. He got us our sneak peak of 10 photos that same week and they were BEAUTIFUL. I never thought we could look like that.

His work speaks for itself, so creative, and passionate about every photo he takes (literally will lay down in the dirt to get a photo) On our wedding day both the photo and video team arrived promptly and introduced themselves to the entire bridal party and parents making everyone so comfortable and excited for the day. Throughout the day they were showing us shots they were capturing constantly making sure that we were both happy with the way things were coming out. Before leaving they made sure to come over to my husband and I to ensure we got all of the photos/ video footage we wanted! The following day we already had teasers of photos and videos to look at, we could not be more excited about the way they came out. HIGHLY recommend JoVon for all your photo and video needs! ING. We first reached out in early 2019 for our originally planned May 2020 wedding. We went to the studio and met with David who walked us through so many sample photos at our venue and answered all of our questions. While David wasn't available for our day, he made suggestions based on meeting us and we decided to work with Jaclyn for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. Jaclyn is an unbelievable talent, our engagement photos were taken in Central Park and are amazing. She's fun to be around and has a great eye for lighting- she's also very creative and was awesome with our dog! On the day of our wedding ( a much smaller event than originally planned) Jaclyn came with an assistant, Sal and our videographer was Pat who was also joined by an assistant They had such amazing energy and worked incredibly well together, bouncing cool creative ideas off one another and capturing beautiful shots. Also, and just as importantly, they were FUN to be around and super nice --- this is incredibly important to consider when choosing a photographer since you'll be spending hours with them on the day of your wedding. I cannot recommend JoVon enough, and highly suggest Jaclyn as a main photographer and Pat as a main videographer-- they are a dynamic duo, a dream team!

Come my wedding day and I’m nervous but it all went away when these guys arrived early to get some shots of my husband and I getting ready. Cesar is a true artist. Ryan was so helpful in arranging the chaotic moments when we needed shots with our loved ones and for finding my bouquet! Pat has this amazing calming presence about him. He showed us a couple of pictures and asked us if there was any particular style we were going for and as soon as I said "vintage", he immediately said "Molly" and showed us her portfolio. She made taking pictures SO easy (which is a hard thing for us, my husband is usually behind the camera, not in front). Fast forward to our wedding day, Molly, Terrance, and Linda, (the perfect team!!) made our wedding day so fun and amazing. Molly was our main photographer and my apologies to the other awesome people, i am not sure what any one other person specifically did. So friendly and professional. I was trying my best to be a low key bride but hours in heels running around for pics will possibly bring out the 'not so best' in all of us. They told us that shots at night ini the park are beautiful and if we were up to it that we should go and we said yes but honestly, i was thinking 'hell no'.. i was done with pics! re unmatched. I can tell that from the 26 teaser photos I received less than a week after my wedding. Jenny the production manager at the office is amazing as well. My husband and I still talk about blessed we were to have them share our day with us. I CANNOT wait to get the rest of the photos back (David literally LAID in WET GRASS to get the best shots). Gabe was my paparazzi in the best way possible (as I joked with him the entire night) during the reception and every time I said to someone "oh we should get a photo!" there was Gabe with his camera ready to go. But let me tell you how much I love and cherish these shots so far, and I’ve only gotten teasers. Do yourself a favor and hire this artist! He made me actually grateful for rain on our wedding day!

d tried to argue against doing a wedding video because it's expensive but after seeing just the trailer (full length has not come in yet) he agreed it was well worth the extra money.
