Working with Joy was great! I hired her for day of coordination but she went above and beyond and worked with me for months before the big day. If I asked for anything she was on top of it and handled all coordination with vendors flawlessly. I told her my loose vision for decor and she hit it out of the park. Joy was so professional yet added a nice calming presence to my day and eased any and all stress. I highly recommend Joy of Events!!
I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Jay as my day-of wedding coordinator. From our first phone call, she was an absolute professional who put me completely at ease.
On the wedding day itself, Joy was an absolute rockstar. She managed every detail with grace and efficiency, staying one step ahead at all times. Her calm, kind demeanor radiated through the entire event. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance with anything, she was there with a helpful suggestion or willing to lend a hand. She also interacted well with guests. I received so many positive compliments about her throughout the night.
Joy of Events handled our day of event coordination, and it was fantastic. They were highly communicative and kept everything running on time. I would strongly recommend Joy of Events for any of your event coordination and planning needs.
Our wedding day was the most stress-free experience thanks to Joy and her staff. Her communication leading up to and day of the wedding was amazing and she always responded promptly to any questions we had. We were grateful for her expertise as she brought so many little details to our attention that we hadn’t even thought of for our big day. We will definitely be using her in the future for other events!
Joy planned and organized EVERYTHING for me. Since I live out of state in Florida, having her up in PA to handle literally everything (and I truly do mean everything) made our lives so much easier and took a tremendous amount of stress off of us. She asked us our preferences and what we envisioned for the day and she made that happen better than I ever could have. She went above and beyond for us and she did a magnificent job. My first call with Joy I immediately felt relief from wedding planning stress. Joy and Courtney made me confident I could trust them with all my day-of-coordination needs so I didn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. They were super flexible and eager to help in anyway we needed. The wedding weekend, Courtney went above and beyond setting up table displays, lawn games, guest favors and working with vendors. We were so happy to have her and absolutely would recommend using Joy of Events to any couple planning their wedding --even if you don't think you need much help!
We’re beyond happy we hired Joy of Events for our wedding planning. She sourced incredible vendors that made our day perfect. Joy is very responsive and was able to calm all nerves leading up to our wedding day.
On our wedding day, she was perfect! The ceremony started on time, every vendor was set up and in place; the timeline was seamless. She went above and beyond making sure all payments/tips were distributed, and so many other things that we didn’t even see her accomplish. Joy was continuously checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Joy of Events was a real dream to work with! Joy was attentive on all our prep calls, and responsive via email and text. She is so knowledgeable and friendly and has such a calming presence in an otherwise incredibly stressful time (wedding planning).
During the rehearsal she was very organized and was able to wrangle my large wedding party into following directions (which wasn't an easy feat). The rehearsal process was seamless, and stress free for me which I loved.
On my wedding day, Joy and her team were on site and worked well with the vendors to get everything set up. The ceremony went off without a hitch and cocktail hour and reception coordination/facilitation went well too! Overall I can't express how grateful I am to Joy and her team of hardworking staff. They really put my mind at ease and had everything covered/handled. I can't recommend Joy of Events enough! Hire them!!
As my wife has often said, "Joy brings joy". Working with her was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was totally willing to support our vision of a mini-ceremony/microception with a large vow renewal/anniversary reception a year later and made it go as smoothy as you could possibly imagine. The amount of leg-work she did to find locations and vendors that suited our vision felt astounding and she accomplished so much while keeping even more off of our plate. During the stressful times in our lives, she was completely understanding and supportive. She was also reachable at any time and always let us know when there might be schedule conflicts. By the end of it all, we had friends and family saying the reception was one of, if not the, most fun parties they'd ever attended. She embraced our vision of sustainability with local flair and helped set up the most perfect day we could have imagined.
Joy was absolutely amazing. She showed up on the night of our set up and rehearsal if you can even call it that. Our pastor couldn’t be there and Joy had no issues rolling with my craziness and stress. The day of the wedding this woman was a godsend. I had to stay in my little room so I had no idea how much work she did behind the scenes from setting up my centerpieces with the florist to dealing with a beer vendor who had the wrong day and wasn’t going to deliver. This woman nailed it. She never let me know there was an issue until after the ceremony and even then she told my new husband instead of stressing me out. She popped in before the ceremony to make sure I was staying hydrated and had food. She even brought us drinks and appetizers while we were getting pictures done! Joy held our day together and made it the best day of our lives. I can not praise her enough or tell everyone to book with her!! She drove two and a half hours to get to us so don’t let location deter you. Go to Joy! She’ll make sure your day is AMAZING and calm and wonderful and everything you ever dreamed.
Joy made our wedding day go smooth, without any hiccups! I was stressed leading up to the day since we only hired her as a day of coordinator, but I’m glad that we were able to fully enjoy our day. Joy set up our decorations better than I could have imagined. She worked well with our other vendors and went out of her way to make sure that we have everything we need. I highly recommend joy for any future events!
After changing all of our wedding plans due to COVID with less than three months until our date, we hired Joy to help replan our wedding. She was AMAZING from the jump. She was patient, creative, and endlessly helpful. She was able to solve every problem that came up in planning and that day, and we truly could not have done it without her.
Wow! Joy's team went above and beyond to make our day go off without a hitch. From compiling and refilling our charcuterie table to carting our cake around to serve our guests, we were so pleased with the efforts of the staff. What excellent service.
Joy and Tyler were just what I needed to make our daughter's wedding as enjoyable for us as well as everyone else! I still had a little control issue, as my daughter pointed out to me later. BUT I know that it would not have been such a wonderful day without Joy of Events leading the way! Thank you so much!
