We could not have had the wedding we had without Kristi. As we don’t live in Austin, we relied on Kristi for everything, from recommending vendors to coordinating conversations to managing our anxiety. Every step of the way, we were so glad we went with Kristi. She even picked up a few of our personal décor items a few days before the wedding so we didn’t have to worry about getting them to the venue on the day. We had a perfect wedding, and it’s all thanks to Kristi.

We had an absolute amazing experience working with Kristi. She provided month-of services for us and was very helpful leading up to the wedding, responding promptly to all of my questions and attending our final meeting. She is very detailed and there were several small things she helped me catch that I had forgotten/missed leading up to the wedding. She helped direct us through a chaotic dress rehearsal and we would have been totally lost without her! We LOVE Kristi!! She was the perfect day of coordinator for our wedding and provided exactly what we needed during the planning process (touch points when we were feeling stressed, lots of planning tools and supports, guidance on trickier decisions), and on the big day - namely, confidence that I didn't need to worry about anything because Kristi had it covered. This was our 2nd wedding using Kristi at Joyful Details. The first wedding was at Commodore Perry in Austin and our most recent at Two Wishes Ranch in Lockhart. Kristi was amazing - she worked with both my sister and I on separate weddings just a few years apart and we would recommend her to everyone! She is great at keeping everyone calm and relaxed during a stressful time and has connections with everyone, making her so easy to work with.

On our wedding day we were able to be in the present moment and enjoy ourselves without worrying because we knew Kristi would take care of anything that needed to be taken care of. Kristi is an Angel on earth! Anyone who knows me, KNOWS I am a VERY hands-on person in everything I do. I simply do not let others take control because I feel like I get anxiety that people will do it wrong or I can do it better. However, Kristi was able to make me feel so calm and at peace. How do you put 6 stars on this thing? The planning was old-hat for Kristi; she knew exactly what to do and how to execute. The best part was two-fold; 1, she was not afraid to tell us "Hey no, that idea probably won't work," and 2, she knew to ask vendors specific, detailed questions that we would not have even considered. Both of those are due to her amount of experience with wedding planning and her knowledge of what works and what does not. On the actual day, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She directed everything, kept us on the timeline, and somehow did it all without us noticing. She even managed to get us fed between the ceremony and reception, which seriously got me through the night. Plus, she's just plain nice. Stop searching, hire her, enjoy your wedding. Ours was as close to a fairy tale as real life gets, and that was in large part due to Kristi.

Kristi is absolutely amazing!!! We got engaged in Sep 2019 and started planning almost immediately. WOW - the word that comes to mind when I think about how well-executed our wedding day was! My fiance and I hired Kristi to be our day-of coordinator. at first we were on the fence, but a friend of mine had heavily endorced Kristi. we ended up going for it and I AM SO HAPPY WE DID. I never even really knew Kristi was there. She was So calm, cool and collected, I Am certain things went wrong (there is always room for error in situations like that), but I had no idea if they did or not, because if they did, they were handled on the spot in an effective way. Kristi came with an assistant who was just as amazing. During our long photo session, her assistant asked if i needed anything from inside, water, what have you grabbed it for me, brought it out, etc. During the processional, they were standing with us, telling people when to walk out, everything was calm, peaceful, amazing. this kept my nerves totally under control- it felt like, graduation day and your favorite teacher being there behind the curtain with you. Cheering you on, and helping you make those steps into your future. leading up to the wedding- Kristi supplied support where needed (based on what we chose when we signed her contract options) and that was all amazing and executed perfectly as well. I have already been bragging about her on instagram but i needed to take to the Knot as well and leave her this shining review, we could not have chosen a better Day Of Coordinator. Kristi did such a wonderful job as our day of planner! She was attentive, organized, and helped to make our day run smoothly. Kristi is worth every penny and more. She was my favorite vendor and should be charging way more for her services! Seriously, book her if you can, you will not regret it. My husband and I hired Kristi back in January of 2019 for our October 2020 wedding. I loved that she had UNLIMITED COMMUNICATION. I wrote that in all caps because it is so important! You don't know how much you don't know about planning a wedding until you start. A lot of other vendors have limits to the amount of emails or texts you can send. I probably emailed Kristi weekly and she always responded quickly and offered incredible advice and insight. Additionally, Kristi is the NICEST, CALMEST, most PATIENT person I have ever met - exactly what you need when you're a strung out bride. Not only was she incredibly helpful during the original planning process, but Kristi really stepped up to the plate when COVID hit. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and supportive. Other brides had planners who actually cancelled on them or told them they had to limit their guest count or how they could do things, but Kristi was nothing but encouraging and supportive. Kristi is AMAZING!!!! She truly went above and beyond to make our special day perfect! Even though we hired her as a "month of coordinator" she was available throughout our ENTIRE year and a half engagement to check in, answer questions, offer suggestions.. She gave advice, helped us come up with a plan B, rescheduled vendors, and even called to check on how I was doing during the difficult times. We originally started our wedding planning with Kristi in 2019, pretty shortly after getting engaged in March 2019. We told my mom we didn’t want a wedding planner, but against our wishes she spent a day vetting people, one which was Kristi. I humored my mom and call called the various planners and after I talked to Kristi I knew I didn’t need to talk to anyone else. Kristi is patient, calm spirited, and knows how to put an anxious over planning bride at peace. As you can imagine, our 2020 wedding didn’t happen, but Kristi was there every step of the way helping us make all the vendor movements and finding a new venue. Fast forward to our 2021 wedding that FINALLY occurred this past weekend. A couple months prior to the wedding Kristi had found out our charter bus company went out of business and before letting me know she handled all the logistics figuring out who took over our contract to not stress me out. She is a saint and was beyond helpful with all the madness that is a COVID wedding. On the day of the wedding, we brought a couple of boxes full of things, and being my micromanaging self, I kept asking Kristi if she’d found everything or needed help knowing where things were/needed to go. She assured me they had everything and made sure to let me sit back and relax. Right before I walked down the aisle I got lipstick all over my wedding dress, which Kristi quickly came to my rescue and saved the day getting the lipstick off. There are countless memories and stories I could say about how amazing Kristi is, and as glad we are that our wedding is finally over, we’re sad that means our days spent with Kristi are over. Outside of her being an amazing wedding planner, she is an even better person. If anyone is on the fence about getting a planner or just looking for the right one, you will not regret reaching out to Kristi. I could not recommend her more.

I honestly can't have imagined our wedding without Kristi. From the beginning, her competitive pricing and our initial conversation with her reassured us that we made the right decision. She took over communication with our vendors in the month leading up to her wedding which is the BEST feeling. I felt that she truly had my back and was looking out for our best interest. She made sure all vendors were set before the wedding day which had us going into wedding week with ease. The day of the wedding, she was INCREDIBLE. Kristi is the best money we've spent on our wedding. She is professional, kind and has such a calm, reassuring presence. She is available any time we need help or advice. And most importantly, as we had to postpone our 3/21 wedding due to the coronavirus, Kristi was with us every step of the way. This week, someone asked me for “wedding planning advice” - I only had to think for a second before “HIRE A PLANNER” came out of my mouth. To be honest, after getting engaged - I thought I could handle the planning thing - I had a checklist from the Knot and a fiancé who was just as excited about the details as I was. However, about two weeks in and feeling extremely overwhelmed at ALL of the Austin vendors *for literally everything* - I reached out to Kristi. Upon meeting her - her organization and knowledge of all things wedding sold me. She is able to share advice from her 10+ years of planning - knowing what works well, what has been a disaster in the past, and tips on how to save money! I was planning my wedding far away from family and having Kristi at all of our appointments was a Godsend. She provided some mom-like wisdom when I just could not make a decision. Most importantly, Kristi kept my husband and I on track letting us know the tasks and decisions that needed to be completed each week/month. When wedding day came, everything was absolutely perfect - if there was something wrong, I didn’t know about it because Kristi had it taken care of behind the scenes. She is low key, which means she works well with others, not just the wedding couple and families but the caterers, photographer, etc. The day of, she was constantly anticipating and working quietly to make everything go smoothly. Whitney with Joyful Details was my Lead Planner for my wedding. I trusted her completely before hiring Joyful Details since we had taught together in Austin. She is SO organized, punctual, knowledgable, and very detail oriented. When I first got engaged, I expressed the wedding vibe that I was going for while trying to pick me a venue. She sent me a very thorough slideshow that had about 15-20 venues in the surrounding area that she thought I could be happy with pictures and description of each. I ended up picking my 3 favorites from the list, touring the venues, then picking. This really describes how easy she made the whole wedding planning process for me. I did the less expensive of the 2 packages, so I did a lot on my own still, but she definitely gave me all of the tools I needed to make the right decisions and was their to guide me and give advice every step of the way. When I would receive quotes from vendors, I would send them to her and she would give me tips on how to potentially get prices down. Our wedding day went FLAWLESSLY and I told Whitney after that if anything didn't go perfectly, we didn't see it at all :) I would hire Joyful Details again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them for your wedding day. I wish I could give 10 more stars! Kristi and her assistant were so helpful on our wedding day and before. Leading up to the wedding, Kristi was always available and always super helpful in guiding my mom and I when it came to what to do next or who to call. My first impression when meeting Kristi, is that she was so calm and sweet. I knew that if there were wedding jitters, stress, fires to put out, or last minute changes, she would be the best person to have there! We had a bad wedding planner/coordinator experience last year for my brother's wedding (different planning company), and we expressed any and all concerns we had when trying to find a new coordinator for my wedding this year. Kristi exceeded all expectations and made sure everything was under control and taken care of. Joyful details helped with everything from vendor recommendations, to calling/coordinating meetings/timeline with vendors, helping with my difficult bustle, decorating and assembling the venue with our decor and table arrangements and making it look incredible! Kristi offered up her time and expertise with just about anything and everything. I will always recommend Kristi to any family, friends, or strangers!

Kristi is every bride and groom's dream for managing weddings. Every time we met with vendors or she had questions for me, she always did it with a smile and it always felt so genuine (which I think is hard to find in the wedding industry). We had a few not so fun conversations with a vendor and she would always take care of it and come up with alternate solutions with the vendors. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone needing a coordinator!!! I want to do it all over again <3

Kristi at Joyful Details was such a pleasure to work with! We hired Kristi as a day-of coordinator for our wedding. Throughout the process, she was professional and responsive to all of our questions and requests even creating a timeline for the day of the wedding and sending it to all of our vendors. On the wedding day, she ensured that everything went smoothly, including trouble shooting last-minute speeches, leftover alcohol, among many other things. Kristi's hard working spirit and sweet, bubbly disposition helped give us such peace of mind on our wedding day, and we are so happy with our choice to work with her! Not only did she go the extra mile on the wedding day itself (when she kept everyone on schedule and put out fires that I didn't know were happening), but also in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding. She went above and beyond coordinating schedules and layouts with our venue and the other vendors, but she also dealt weather problems as the day got closer. Then, when our tent rental company set up a horrendous eye-sore of a tent, she was there to figure out a solution and offer her advice.

I can not recommend Kristi enough! It’s hard to even find somewhere to start. While planning she gave us great insight into different vendors, tips on how to save money, and answered a million of my questions. She helped me communicate between all of my vendors and created a perfect timeline for our wedding day which is SO important. The day of the wedding she was just a dream! I didn’t have to think about anything other than marrying my best friend. Kristi’s calm demeanor and patience was exactly what I needed. Kristi honestly made me feel more comfortable moments before walking down the aisle than my mother did! Another great thing about hiring Kristi was that my bridesmaid who got married 2 weeks after me used her as well. It was great getting to work with her again as a bridesmaid!

We hired Kristi for our day-of coordinator, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her! After a couple of quick phone calls, she knew exactly what we wanted and handled everything perfectly. She is so professional, but also sweet and thoughtful - always a step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even thought to ask! She is the BEST!
